Ngl I’m v disappointed with the ea-Nasir tumblr bracelet I got today. why? Well for starters I thought it would be somewhat adjustable, like maybe the metal would bend a bit so ya know it could stay on your wrist… nope one size fits all unfortunately. Oh well these things happen when you have small wrists it’s fine. What really is bugging me is that the actual cuneiform is printed onto the metal instead of engraved, which would normally be fine but I’ve only had it for a few hours and it already looks like the ink is trying to wipe off and is faded af. 3/10 would not recommend for anything other than sitting on a knick knack shelf
TLDR: don’t buy the ea-nasir tumblr shop bracelets they’re cheap af

King Dedede first 4 figures statues post!!
To clarify these are EXPENSIVE statues I thankfully had the ability to buy because of saving my commission money. While I do love how great their statues are F4F figures are very costly and I do not recommend them for general collectors of merch. Please be smarter than me with your money, no matter how quality their goods are.
FIRST OF ALL AMAZING BOXES
As you can see I got the deluxe edition for both statues as a bundle. If it wasn't for F4F's payment plan options I would have never been able to get these things, also got the early bird discount as I pre-ordered them over 8 months before production.
Each box basically has the statue's F4F page description on them but it's still a very nice addition!
Even the protective foam they come in is custom made for the statues!
OH LORD HE COMIN'
These statues are CHONKY and I don't just mean that because it's Dedede, but because each are roughly 15lbs, and they are MASSIVE.
Nintendo switch game case for scale.
Overall a great item for the obsessive collector, they come with a gold plated coin that's a solid 1.5 or so lbs on its own and their own identification card to show they're the genuine article! Even if I can't recommend these for the price I'm very happy I have a physical reference of this idiot on my desk at all times now!

Lady Doolli
I’ve mentioned before that I like blind box toys and ball jointed dolls and now I’m in trouble because there are blind box ball jointed dolls out there.
Lady Doolli is blind boxed but is NOT a BJD though she’s in a similar style. I’d seen these on Amazon for a while and was curious but only recently decided to give one a try.
There is 1 skintone, 6 different hair styles/colors, and it looks like maybe 2 eye colors.

The box is small and cute with a lot of pictures and writing on it, especially making a point to let you know there’s no second outfit in here and they must be bought separately.
The outfits are packed in a little paperboard box shaped like a garment bag. It says 2022 Spring, so I wonder if there are many other outfit sets that have been released.
To be honest, I don’t care for any of these outfits, really. Figured I should get one to review, at least.
Both the doll and outfit are packed in these silver foil bags inside the boxes. There’s no plastic shell or anything to hold their position in the packaging. They’re just loose in there.
I got dark, long hair with a side part with blue and purple eyes, and almost missed the tiny little bag of extra hands inside the silver bag. She does come already dressed in the pajamas.
I tried to get a good photo of the face screening but my phone is a potato. There’s a good amount of detail with a simple layout. She has eyeshadow, blush on the cheeks, chin, nose, and brows, a little lip line to separate her lips... It’s a cute face, but I do prefer my dolls to not look sad or startled.
She does have rooted hair which is silky and smooth. It’s a little stiffer than Kiwi nylon (Rainbow High) while still being soft.
She also has a couple paint spots on her face that look to be from the eyebrow paint.
The rooting isn’t super dense in some areas.
Her head is harder than a Barbie’s head but is squishable to a degree so her eyes could be removed and replaced with some heat and her hair could be rerooted if you wanted.
Hair drop on a new doll head is normal. This looks like a plug or two which didn’t get anchored.
I’m impressed with the posing. The joints are stiff enough to hold a pose but easy to move other than her hips which take a little bit more pressure, and have a high range of motion.
The torso joints aren’t as mobile as the arms and legs, though.
Her head can look up and down or tilt left and right depending on how you turn the neck joint which is a simple hinged ball.
The backs of the knees...
All of the jointing reminds me of Figmas.
Honestly I feel like the body alone is worth the $26 price tag, AND you get a rooted head with quality hair and inset eyes, a pair of pajamas, and an extra pair of hands.

Neither outfit that I have has any sort of closures or openings so you do need to remove the head and hands to dress her.
Getting the hands on and off is difficult
Turns out there’s a LOT of flash on her wrist pegs. I did go in and clean that off. There was a good sized bit on her neck ball, too.
Heat up the hands, though, and they go on and off pretty easily.

As for the outfit.
Silver bag again.
I couldn’t get this headband to stay on her hair because it’s satin and her hair is satiny smooth, but it does have a wire in the “ears” so you can pose it as you wish.

LOOK AT THESE TINY LITTLE SHOES!
They have stitches, laces, tongues, glued on rubbery soles with IN SCALE texture on the bottom...
They went on a lot more easily than I expected them to OVER her socks. I did need to get a little stick to pull the back of the heel out and over the doll’s heels. Other than that, easy-easy.
I also didn’t even try to extract and tie the laces. They looked really short and I have poor motor control, so I opted to just shove her feet in there with the laces tucked inside.
The outfit came with shorts, a one-piece sweater and shirt combo, and some long socks. The socks aren’t hemmed but everything else is. Again, no closures, not even an elastic waistband on the shorts. The shorts were a little difficult to put on.
All of the fabrics are soft and despite the sweater having a feelable texture, it’s not rough or scratchy so it’s not kicking off my texture-BAD senses.
Action pose! FWIP!
She can’t quite pull of Sailor Moon’s signature pose.
Here she is next to some other blind box BJD (the others really are BJD). They all could certainly share clothes despite Doolli’s longer, thinner body.

While I do feel that the quality of Lady Doolli is in line with the price (all together she costs $52), and am impressed with, basically, everything about her, I don’t feel a need to buy another. Out of all of the blind box BJD I’ve tried (not pictured here is the Penny’s Box centaurs), the only one I’ve wanted more than one of was Bonnie. I have three.

Kuruntote Review
The very first Tamagotchi Kuruntote (たまごっち くるんとーと) series was released the fourth week of July 2023 in Gashapon capsule vending machines here in Japan, and on August 1, I went for it! 500 yen per capsule is a bit expensive, but I tried twice...and ended up with two of the same design. So it goes.
There's 3 designs total, but the good news is I got the one I wanted. It's rolled in there tight!

I'm really loving the vivid colors. The fabric is a bit thin but feels sturdy enough. You may be able to see the packaging for my breakfast in there if you look close enough...
It's just about the size of your standard plastic shopping bag, so it's better suited for a quick trip to the corner store as opposed to hardcore grocery shopping.
You may see a bit of tissue paper sticking out of the bag...this thing was rolled in no less than 3 squares of white tissue paper, most likely to keep the printed fabric from sticking to itself in the intense heat we've been having. As some Gashapon dispensers are stored outside, the contents have to survive the elements, so I get the addition...but I felt like a hack magician at the cash register as I pulled sheet after sheet out of the capsule when I just wanted to bag my snacks...
Anyway, on the inside it's got a cute little pocket! What's it for?
Well, the "Kurun" in the product name suggests that the bag can be rolled up and stored away! (We love a reusable shopping bag, especially since they charge for plastic bags just about anywhere you go in Japan.) Well I'm pleased to report it lives up to the name!
You simply flip the bag inside out, fold the sides in hot dog-style, then rolllll and pop it in the pocket.
Once folded, the size is nice and small - it fits in the back pocket of my skinny jeans as well as my tiny purse.
I'll just show a P1 for scale though. (My butt doesn't belong on this blog.)
I'm pleased to report that this bag further supports the Tamagotchi lifestyle in that there's various ways to integrate your virtual pets!
First is to hang one on the handle.
Second is to use the inner pocket to tuck away your little digital friend. It holds everything from the Nanos up to the Meets/On size-wise...but you're out of luck with the Pix.

(Come to think of it I bet the coin purse from WEGO would go really well with this...)
Anyway, cute bag! Practical item! I'm definitely tucking one in my work backpack. Let's see how long it lasts?

Sigzagor Adult Cloth Diaper

The package arrived in a plain brown Amazon package. One of the bulky envolopes, not a box. If you don't know what is in there, it's just going to seem like clothing (which it is). The diaper itself is in a transparent plastic bag inside of said Amazon package. All of this is to say that yes, this product has discreet packaging.
Wearing/Comfort
These are very comfortable and easy to adjust. I don't have cloth inserts, so the diaper wasn't as thick as it could've been, but it was still comfortable.
Overall
I'm not sure what else to put here. This was my first time with a cloth diaper, and I liked it very much.
Thanks to @princeminnow for buying me this item off of my wishlist! Unfortunately, the note was not included in the package, and I don't have a way of viewing it.

It's Mar Cheshvan, the most "bitter" of all the months of the year, so to cheer everyone up I'm going to do a short review of what happens when you search for Judaica on Aliexpress. I'm gonna got with only the first four results.
So let's start:
Alright so the first out of the first four results:
Alright. So, no obvious Messianic symbols on this one. I like the colours, and there's no Christian words in the title. It also has the right number of branches for a proper Chanukiyah, and it looks like something I'd like to own if it was actually good quality, which I doubt.
10/10 for this one.
Well, obviously this one is glaringly obvious. That's seven branches, not nine, even though it claims to be for "Hanukkah". The 12 Tribes motifs are nice, it's just too bad that it can't actually be used for Chanukah. No Messianic symbols or language on this one though, so that's at least the bare minimum.
6/10. You may think that's a little high, but for Aliexpress this isn't too bad.
Well. Well. First of all, this Challah cover isn't my personal taste, but it's actually a Breslover Challah cover. The fire symbol and the phrase "תוקד עד ביאת משיח", which means "My fire burns until the coming of Mashiach" is a Breslover motto. Which of course makes it all the more offensive that the title of this product has the phrase "Church Souvenirs". This is gross, and also shows blatent plagierism which Aliexpress is notorious for.

Hm. Well, I mean it's obvious this is Messianic even without looking at the title. The plus side is that it's made out of cheap metal, which means that whoever buys this garbage will get green tarnish stains all over their neck from wearing it. And, maybe I'll give this one a point just for making me giggle thinking of people wasting their money on this product and just ruining their skin with the cheap metal.
1/10, just for the thought of these people getting those annoying green tarnish stains.
Anyway.....don't buy judaica from aliexpress or any cheap novelty website. Support other Jews and get your Judaica ware from verified Jewish artists and sellers. But this was fun.

Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting Box Set - 1993
Whilst I toil away at mapmaking, I did reward myself with a bit of treasure! In my deep plunges into the interwebs, I did in fact stumble across a wonderful artifact indeed. (But do forgive me for the photo quality, I was too excited for touch-ups!)
From thirty years ago, the “New Edition” of the Forgotten Realms Campaign setting! What a find! Though the box itself has a few dings and dents (a sign of much love, I’m sure), the treasures inside this chest were in far better condition.
Near mint, if I do say so myself! We see here our good friend Elminster here in some of my favorite art of him, but a Drizzt Do’Urden can also be spotted on the Grand Tour of the Realms, among other familiar faces.
I have not yet read through all of these, but soon I will be able to dispense what knowledge I find!
In addition to these fine books, the set came with a number of loose papers and maps, of which I had never seen before in digital or physical form.
Four in total! Two of eastern Faerun, and two of western. Once I am able to do so safely, I will be creating high resolution scans of these maps to share on this very blog, so do keep your eyes out!
But even more ingenious, included in the box was not one, but two of these! The transparent overlay seen here is made to show scale, and to be moved across the maps. As they all are drawn to the same scale, the overlays can be used between any of them, and having two copies of the overlay means more than one can be placed at a time, or, in case one is lost, there is a backup. These will provide themselves invaluable in reconstructing maps of the realms.
It also makes me wonder why we do not see these more often in more modern reproductions of these maps. I have not seen such overlays in any other piece of media for the Realms or any other setting, but they seem so useful, as well as inexpensive to produce! Perhaps this can be traced to the phasing out of overhead projectors and other such common technology of the 80s and 90s that saw the use of transparencies such as these. Wet erase markers faded out of use, and purchasing transparency films has become more difficult over time. Still, I hope that tools such as this can make a return. If nothing else, it sure beats getting out strings to try to measure the distances!
Following the maps, we find these sheets of symbols. My first thought was, are these sticker sheets? But thankfully, no! No aged glues or sticky pages greeted me (for surely stickers would not age well over three decades). These are actually cards, meant to be cut out and referenced. I am infinitely grateful that the previous owners of this box did not do so, since being in one piece has kept these from being lost or damaged, in the way small pieces often are.
The first three pages include runes and symbols. Some are for factions, such as the recognizable harp of the Harpers on the first page. Some are magical, namely the runes in green, and others are simply to convey a message.
The last two pages are the symbols of various gods and powers in the Realms, though some of the page is still dedicated to runes. Again, I will be creating scans, both front and back, to share.
And yes, the backs of all of them contain some information about the image on the front. I cannot wait to make copies so that I feel confident in cutting out and using the cards, while still keeping the originals in good condition.
The final portion of this treasure chest of information is a bestiary. The pages are unbound, but punched to fit into a ringed binder. I adore all the art. Like before, I will create scans, and perhaps write on more specific aspects of the creatures therein.

Product Review: Window Solar Charger
Company/Website: Grouphug Solar
Does it work: Yes. I tested it by using it to charge my cellphone.
Price: $149, I bought mine on sale for $129.
Operation: You’re looking at it.
The button turns on yellow, red, or green LED lights that tell you whether the panel is getting enough light to operate, and how charged it’s (included) battery is, but it will charge your devices whether you ever push this button or not.
Assembly/Installation: Comes out of the box fully assembled as shown. Stick the included suction cup to a window and hang it up.
Overall: I like it. You get what you pay for. It does one thing, but it does it well, and I’ve seen desk lamps that were more complicated to use.

We all know I’m a sucker for a blind box.
Folks here may or may not know I collect resin ball jointed dolls. I also like vinyl/abs HJD.
There are blind box BJD.
I ordered a Simon’s Club Toy Campus Series doll on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3JT66Qy and she was delivered today.
When I first looked through them I chose my favorites knowing FULL well that I would get the one I wanted the least. That’s how it works.
I have a reputation for weirdly good blind bag luck, but that only applies if I’m the one that chooses the box (or if my Son does, then it’s even better luck, which is weird).
It doesn’t work if someone else chooses the package for me.
I wanted basically anyone other than Apple because red and black don’t appeal to me.
I wanted Blueberry most.
I got Apple.
She’s very cute. I am not unhappy about this. I wouldn’t have bought it at all if I actively disliked any of them.
She came with a packet of extra hands, a little dress up card, a sticker sheet with her outfit pieces, a promo card with a QR code, instructions, her outfit, and herself.
The box says they’re hand painted, but that’s certainly at least a stencil. Maybe airbrushed by hand with masks.
She is strung with narrow elastic and has tiny little S hooks in her wrists and ankles.
The instructions say their hats come off but either Apple’s doesn’t or I just haven’t figured it out, yet.
She is TOP HEAVY and her head flops around a bit. To dress her I had to take her whole head and face off.
She has standard BJD articulation plus a torso joint and double joint peanuts in her knees and elbows.
Her head is 3 parts. 2 hair parts and a face plate, which slides on and off easily from a small retaining plate. Because of the positions of the retaining plate in relation to her eyes, it would be a bit of a pain to modify her to take inset eyes.
I did have to take her head off to dress her. There are instructions on how to take out the face plate retaining.... thing... to facilitate dressing, but I didn’t bother.
The clothes are all hemmed, but not serged and close with Velcro-like tape closures.
She comes with 6 alternate right hands and 2 alternate left hands. I have no idea if they all come with the same hand pack or not.
Swapping the hands isn’t too difficult if you have a tool to help, though it does require a firm pinch-grip so if you have issues with pinch-grip, you may need assistance.
The alternate hands do all seem to be a little bit smaller than the default.
She looks concerned...
Now, a warning.
I’ve been seeing quite a few reports of doll and toy shipments coming by boat from China arriving with visible mold in the packaging (Rainbow High dolls, specifically) with people suspecting they’re getting wet in transit or the cargo containers/ships are infested, and this package absolutely REEKED of mold when it arrived.
There was outer plastic, an outer cardboard box, and then the product’s outer box and the stink made it all the way to the product box.
The box is pretty cute, though, and has a picture of my favorite of the dolls on it, so I’ve put it down in the basement bathroom with my Ozone destinker device to see if I can get rid of that bad smell so that I can keep the box to keep all of her things in together.
We’ll see how that goes.

Now I normally don't do product reviews and for two reasons one I'm not famous nobody's going to listen to me anyways and two no company is going to pay me to tell the truth about their piece of shit product.
I present to you the stroger pcp (pre-charged pneumatic) xm1 air rifle.One of the worst air rifles I have ever had.. this is actually the second rifle I've been through the first one seals gave out the third time I shot it. After fighting with the stroger / Benelli company I finally got them to send a replacement it only cost me a hundred bucks to ship this one back east and wait 6 months to get another oversized overpriced substandard paperweight!
Now my first concern overall my concern I can't stress that enough as well as my first dislike of this air rifle is an order to read the air gauge you must put the muzzle end of the barrel in the general direction of your own head in order to read the gauge.
I don't believe I need to elaborate on how much of a no no this is! But that's what stroger / Benelli did! There's the photographic evidence folks!
My second dislike of this air rifle is the lack of reliability and durability. As I said the first one I got I was able to shoot three times before the internal seals gave out. The second one will not even accept a charge from the pump that sold with the rifle. Thus rendering it the overpriced substandard paperweight that it is.
My second complaint that designers or engineers whatever you might call them,i call them jackasses we're too ignorant to put a barrel strap where it was needed. Anybody who knows their ass from a hole in the ground realizes that everything needs to be supported securely! Yep stroger / Benelli that's real craftsmanship there with that sloppy barrel 😂. I laugh even harder when I think of trying to take a perched shot with this rifle and it's sloppy barrel.
We'll discuss the pressures and again putting a barrel strap or at least some kind of reinforcement where it's needed and I'm talking about here by the breach. Most PCP airguns run at about 2000 bar which is equivalent to 3,000 PSI give or take a bit. I'd like to see a little bit more than a piece of plastic for the rotary clip that jams up all the time and again a barrel strap right in front of where it's only press fitted in. Not to mention if stroger / Benelli can't make internal seals that withstand these pressures how am I supposed to have the confidence that these pressures won't blow up in my face, how can any of benelli's customers be confident that their firearms will not blow up in their face!
And since we're discussing the pressures of the air gun is a good moment to tell you about the consistency of the shots. Or rather the lack of consistency. Stroger / Benelli claims that you could get 30 shots per charge of the air gun. I say that that is a straight-up marketing lie the first air gun that I was able to shoot three times meaning the gun came pre-charged I emptied it to a certain point of pressure refilled it and shot again twice. Had an average of 5 to 8 consistent shots and a total of 15 to 18 shots per charge. The replacement that I had to fight stroger / Benelli to uphold the honor in their warranty and replace the air rifle, got a total of four consistent shots before the decline and pressure was so rapid as well as the drop in the projectile that the rifle cannot be sited in!!!!! Now we'll talk about actually charging air rifle itself given that it takes roughly 3,000 lb PSI. In some states the compressors that are compatible with PCP air rifles are either banned or highly regulated which means a certain percentage of these PCP air rifles owners are stuck with the hand pumps which suck. They are prone to failure the gauges on your pump never match the gauges on your air rifle. And like the air rifles the pumps only have a lifespan of 1 to 3 uses before failure!!!!!
I guess next is to comment on the loading and feeding mechanisms which the first rifle I received had no issues at all. The second rifle I received on replacement however jams every shot! I'm not sure if this is due to the sloppy rotary clip and plastic molding injection that they use or if it's due to poor quality machining tolerance on the bolt breach, receiver, and all that good stuff. I have no confidence in Benelli / stroger or their workmanship!
They claim to have an adjustable trigger but it's very little adjustment for those who have fat or narrow fingers it does not in any way adjust of the pull of the trigger and is in no way a multi-stage trigger nothing fancy just you can slide it back enough to fit your finger with a glove around it. The trigger pull itself isn't all that bad it's one of the better things I have to say about the air rifle.
Next we will talk about the designer/engineers/jackasses placement of picatinny rails and their scope mounting we'll start with the placement of the picatinny rails.
I'm 6 ft and wear a size 13 shoe. The brass threaded inserts on the front part of the foregrip to the end of the barrel is over 12 inches. Good luck being able to use a flashlight on your picatinny rails. And this is a good moment to remind you guys a lack of barrel strap with such a long barrel and they gave no option of a picatinny rail on the bottom with a heavy rifle to put a bipod. So good luck trying to get any kind of good shot resting your end of your barrel on a log or tree branch or whatever to make that vital shot so that you can eat dinner because there is no fucking rations. Yeah stroger Benelli I just pointed out vital design flaws again how many times have I done this in this post. I'll be giving you a link to this in a email Pat.
Scope mounts as well as the scope that comes with the rifle are as Bart Simpson would say craptacular.
So as for the very few things I do like about this air rifle first and foremost is that it is slightly easier on scopes and does not kick as much as barrel break air rifles. Second would be the adjustable stock pads the interchangeable cheek rest on the stock and the interchangeable sized grips. That is all
Overall I would give the stroger xm1 22 or 177 caliber PCP air rifle a rating of overrated overpriced substandard paperweight! Which in reality my best friend just pointed out the wind would probably blow the papers out from underneath this useless paper weight. And when I say overpriced I spent about $400 for this POS when I would rely on my Chinese take down recurve bow at 40 lb draw weight I paid $35 for on Amazon with my life before I would consider using any product from stroger and or Benelli! The fact that I would trust my life to a Chinese recurve bow before this supposed "top quality" Benelli product says a lot!
I've been living and surviving outdoors for 30 years now not part-time not on the weekends but full-time 365 days a year outdoors since I was 17 years old. I have owned many firearms many airguns many bows I have learned I've learned to make and use atlatels good enough to be proficient at taking game. As well as Spears bows in any other primitive hunting implements or technology you want to throw at me. And let me tell you stroger / Benelli I would take any one of them over your products any day in any situation even target shooting. I cannot begin to belittle companies like stroger / Benelli who practice such unethical business ethics. The only thing I can say is that such companies that practice these bad business ethics should be eradicated like a common cockroach or termite.!!!!!
15 minutes after original post my dog walked up to this rifle and hiked its leg to piss on it and my dog is a female!!!!

I pre-ordered the new WEGO mini bag and coin pouch on March 31, missed the delivery yesterday because I was at work, but just had them redelivered. Woohoo!
In case you were wondering which designs I got, I'll show you:
(I feel like they added an "I" to that UFO logo as the common spelling through the Connection era was "TAMAGOTCH", but it looks great so I'll take it.)
A coin purse is a coin purse, so let's take a closer look at the bag.
It's nice and compact, with a small clear pocket on the front. It's fairly spacious in there with a maximum capacity of 8 classic Tamas. It will fit your wallet but not your smartphone (unless you've got one of those folding ones).

Okay so it's useless as a Tama pocket. But what does fit in there?
Inexplicably, a gashapon charm. Something tells me the pocket is just supposed to be decorative.
Anyway, it's not the best bag in the world, but it's pretty cute when you pair it with the included chain.
In terms of durability I don't have particularly high hopes. WEGO is a fast fashion brand aimed mainly at teens, so the pricing and quality reflects this. (I think you can see the clear pocket is sewn on a bit crooked.) It's definitely cute though, and perfect for a quick trip to the store so long as you store your phone in your pocket.
Always happy to add Tamagotchi accessories to my wardrobe!
