Hello everyone!! This is an interest check for Fluffy Steve Fest, which would take place in July as a celebration of Steve's birthday!! It would be a great big help if you could take a minute to fill it out so I can know your thoughts on it 🥰
🎉 Open to any and all universes and Steve ships
🎉 Includes all work types (fics, art, gifs, meta, videos, manips, moodboards, playlists, rec lists, crafts, polls...you name it!)
🎉 No minimums and no sign-ups required!
🎉 The main idea is fluff than angst, more comfort than hurt, and a lot of happy Steve <3
I've been thinking about hosting a Steve/Tony fanworks event/exchange focused on their relationship and scenes in Endgame and beyond (2023 seems appropriate :P), so here's a poll to see how many people might be interested.
Reblogs welcome!
If you want to participate in the event, please help @thahiree and I out by answering a couple more questions here about the event, thanks - it takes less than a minute :)

I've just seen this and... Wow, I'm so much annoyed 😅 I mean, it's all so wrong... "Worthy" was a spell created by Odin to keep Thor in line and control his powers, but I'm afraid the writers here forgot this little detali 🤦🏻 I wonder when they will let Loki go. I am anxious whenever some new official material about him comes out 🥲
Oh my, that has all kinds of terrible connotations that could go very wrong, especially as we know Marvel's stance on Odin and that goddamn "worthiness".
Thor began to grow wonderfully as a character when he started seeing the cracks in Odin's exterior and realized how wrong and flawed his father was. When he started seeing beyond Asgard's lies and bigotry. The entire point of his character was supposed to be a boy indoctrinated from childhood finally breaking free from his father's lies and control, which necessarily translates into that "worthiness" meaning nothing.
We got Hela's story in Ragnarok! She was told she was worthy too. It was all a lie, even Valkyrie says as much. So a book where Loki is worthy and it is supposed to be a good and positive thing is missing the point entirely. It's still taking Odin's judgment as gospel.
With that said... damn, a story such as that written by a Loki fan could be pretty amazing. Imagine a story where Loki was treated the same as Thor and had everything he could possibly want, he was respected by his people, etc... but it still went wrong because all that love and "worthiness" were corrupted from the beginning. A story where 'who' and 'what' Loki is turns out to be the only good thing... but Asgard's bigotry and Odin's lies and crimes end up biting them in the ass in the end - and Loki's worth comes from within instead.
That I would read. But something tells me Marvel will take a different route. Oh well. (Also... Loki and Valkyrie, eh? They gonna pair them up? 😜).
Gotta say the other two books sound interesting though. Poor Marc having to put up with Venom, but he has experience with Khonshu being a lovable jerk so he'd survive it, I'm sure. But Wanda and Peter as siblings? Hell yeah gimme!
The two sat at the table, enjoying their treats. Talking about their lives, laughing, and just all around enjoying the comfort of one another's presence. Bellona listened as Thor told her about the different adventures he and his friends have gone on, many of which included Sif having to rescue them. They talked about their past adventures when they were kids. The many times they would mess around with their siblings for fun. How they tried to avoid the wrath of their parents whenever things failed.
Bellona told him about her life on Earth, and how she worked to keep humans safe from the dangers of mythical creatures. But the more they talked, the more it became how lonely her life was.
Since her departure from Olympus, Bellona never really worked with anyone other than Minerva when a mission got too difficult. She lived alone; no pets, and no friends. In her mind, it was easier that way. Never having to worry about getting attached and losing something. She didn't want to go through that again.
"Do you ever miss it?" Thor asked. Bellona raised a brow in confusion.
Have you heard the news? There's a new Ms. Marvel zine coming to town and we're looking to hear from you! Our interest check is still open until November 1 so fill it out if you haven't already!
If anyone here is interested in both Spider-Man and Moon Knight comics (like op 😅), particularly the timelessly endearing central character of the former and the more psychological aspects of the latter, I would suggest checking out Infinity Wars: Arachknight (Vol. 1/2018).
There are only two stand alone issues plus an “annual” and the whole concept of infinity warps was increasingly hilariously whacky, but the creators do a surprisingly good job of blending Spider-Man’s character and history with elements from Moon Knight comics.
