It's almost "Love, Actually" season!

I only watch this movie between Thanksgiving and New Years because one year I caught it in April, and it was good but not nearly as magical.

Which means the quizzes to determine which character you are most like are finding their way into my feeds. Without fail, every year, I get Sarah (Laura Linney), which completely tracks. She is one of the two unluckiest in love, although she did wind up with Patrick Dempsey (SMA 2023!) during the 10 minute catch-up video they did a few years ago for Red Nose Day.

But one year, just once, I would love to get Natalie (Martine McCutcheon). I have thighs the size of giant tree trunks and I always feel I am going to fuck up on my first day 😊.

Since you wanted me to tell you about seeing my crush today, I did tell her in person that I love her. And she said, you too.

And I also made a friend with this dude that was there. And during the set she (my crush) forgot a certain part of the song they were playing. So I sung it to her, she smiled at me and picked up where I stopped. And her mom was right next to me, she tapped my shoulder and said thank you.

I also talked to her about tattoos and just random things and she hugged me. It was nice.

long story short, we found these two kittens at the bottom of a garbage can!! I don't like to think about how they ended up in there- but we heard them crying while on a walk, and it's very lucky they were so loud! They were scared at first, but now they NEED to be snuggled at all times. Crazy how adaptable kittens are. I'd prefer to rehome them as a pair, but I'd consider adopting them out individually if that's my only option! The November air was chill as Lily ran through the path at St. James’ Park, as fast as her two-inch heels were willing to take her. Perhaps it was a terrible idea to run in heels, and while wearing a pencil skirt at that. But who would have thought that the tube would have let her down today of all days. Did public transit really have to suck so much in this country? Perhaps she might have to bring it up to the new Prime Minister.

The park was always bustling with people out and about - bikers on their daily commutes, tourists trying to get photos of the various monuments, and government officials making their way over to work. Lily herself had previously been taking this exact route to work at the House of Commons as a parliamentary advisor to a Member of Parliament, and before that she had worked at the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office. Now she was personal secretary to the Prime Minister, and had been for the last three years. But as it always goes, with the election came a new boss, not just to the country, but also to her.

By the time she had made it to Downing Street, Lily was a little out of breath. But with the crowds of people gathered to welcome Number 10′s newest resident, and the news reporters lining up to interview him, she could feel the anticipation in the air. The man was yet to arrive, and that meant she had plenty of time to get inside. She showed her credentials to the guards at the gate before she was let through, and knocked on the iconic black door.

There was a hint of excitement within all of the staff, as Lily made her way over to her office. Everyone seemed keen on getting to meet the man who was now running the country. There was a lot of talk about him, not just within the walls of the residence, but also the country. He was young, progressive, and had quite the charm. Some even pointed that the fact that he was single, unmarried, and moving in as a single occupant. Truth be told, Lily was no stranger to the kind of attention Edward Carmichael was getting in the media, but she chose not to engage in it.

Thankfully, she’d had a moment to make herself a cup of tea while she waited for the convoy to pull up. And as she sipped the last of it, she heard the sirens nearby. Everyone rushed to take their spot in the line up of the staffs so that they could be introduced, and Lily stood right next to the Chief of Staff, waiting as she heard the crowd cheer, and the cameras flash. It was only a matter of seconds before the custodian opened the door. @sweet-as-pie41

How do you imagine Levan/Revan/ Mallenoa's husband?

Appearance, personality etc.

Revaan/Laverne/whatever-his-name-is's title sort of implies that he might be from a fantasy-Eastern country (they've established that in Twstland, 竜 = Eastern-style dragons, andドラゴン = Western-style dragons). and that's about as much as we know right now about...anything in regards to what he might look like. so I've been trying very hard not to form too much of a mental picture of him, because I'm still hoping we'll get to see him (or at least a silhouette)! ergo, in my head, he kind of looks like this:

so handsome. surely Malenoa fell in love at first glance.

I do think the funniest thing about what we've learned so far is that Malleus being kind of quiet and reserved and dignified...absolutely did not come from the Draconias. and he sure as heck did not learn it from Lilia. so he probably got a lot of that from his dad! the vibe I get from how Lilia talks about him is that he could be a bit of a prim little fancyboy sometimes, but was (mostly) willing to go along with his wife's zany antics out of love. he sounds sweet, honestly! I'm sorry he (maybe) died. :(

my favorite thing about Mal's parents is that Malenoa and Lilia's dynamic was "long-suffering guard and princess who has long been the cause of said suffering":
