So danny was going for his driving lisense, and it turns out he has inherited his farthers lack of driving skills

So he wanted to get better at driving

But to practice he needed to actually drive

So sam, tucker, jazz and danny go to some city with high crime rate so him crashing and driving like a lunatic wont stand out too bad

Well 2 hours later and sam and tucker making appointments with a heart doctor and danny is a little better

They were talking about food when danny made a wrong turn and crashed through a wall

When they all looked up they saw a group of furries being held at gun point and screaming and a guy with a red bucket on his head cursing and waving guns at them

And then cheif furry stepped foreword and was about to say something when danny paniced

He put the thing in reverse floored out, put it back into drive and turning so fast he flipped the car, once the car was right again he reversed into another wall of the building and then used the ecto-charge fearure on the car to activate the ectoplasm in the engine and floor it faster then the flash

He's sure this wont backfire

Abigail Remeltindrinc is such a weird character. She's a female character added last minute into a show who's depiction of women tends to lean into misogyny who's role includes being fought over by the male characters so you'd expect her to be treatly badly by the narrative, but she ends up having more angency than half of "better written" female characters in media. Like yeah a large chunk of her appearance includes Dethklok fighting over her or rescuing her from danger but also. She doesn't get demonized for wanting a casual one night stand with no feelings attached. She's not potrayed as a bad person for not wanting to get with Nathan and in fact HE is potrayed as being in the wrong for pressuring her into it. She doesn't get a sudden "Oh I'm in love with Nathan now that he apologized" moment and the narrative doesn't try to pull a "Actually they were equally in the wrong cause she played with his feelings by kissing him or whatever". She gets to exit the show on her own terms and no one blames her for it

finished Padawan (great book highly recommend it is one of my favorites now) and started listening to The Living Force (new book about the Jedi council going on a road trip) audiobook, but the file is refusing to work with the app I usually use for listening so instead of listening to it on 1.5x speed I'm going to have to endure all 16 hours of this book being very slowly read

something i think about a lot with nico and hazel is the parallel between him taking care of her after pulling her out of the underworld and then her taking care of him after rescuing him from the jar/tartarus. making sure the other is eating/sleeping, has privacy if they need, bearing witness to the other's lowest point, standing guard between their sibling and the rest of the world. neither can actually fix what happened but they can give them a space to grieve in.
