˖ ✧ ⸻ STARBORN CREATIVE is a fictional company based in South Korea formed in 2007 to house K-Pop artists. It was originally formed as CASSIOPEIA MEDIA by PARK YOUNGSOO.

In 2008, CASSIOPEIA MEDIA debuted its first group, STAR☆GIRLS, a nine membered girl group that almost immediately became popular due to their fresh and mysterious sound, almost beating groups like GIRL'S DAY and SISTAR. Unfortunately, due to a major scandal surrounding the off-screen behaviors of member DEEDEE and accusations of her bullying her fellow members and staff alike, the girl group disbanded in 2016. CASSIOPEIA MEDIA almost shut down after this scandal due to many netizens having boycotted the group prior to disbandment and for YOUNGSOO stepping down as CEO due to health issues. However, under the new CEO, LEE JUNGHOON, CASSIOPEIA MEDIA managed to rise to fame again with the debut of ACID FLOWER and its rebrand to STARBORN CREATIVE.

To this day, STARBORN CREATIVE remains one of the most respected and (sometimes) controversial companies in the K-pop industry.

PANDORA LABELS is a fictional company based in South Korea formed in 2010 to house K-Pop artists. It was originally formed as SUNRISE ENTERTAINMENT.

In 2015, SUNRISE ENTERTAINMENT debuted its first group, DREAM STATE, a seven membered girl group that did not do as well as the company hoped. With little attention paid to the girl group in favor of other groups, SUNRISE ENTERTAINMENT tried again soon after with BOMBSHELL!, a female duo who did significantly better and helped bring money to the company.

In 2018, STARBORN CREATIVE would acquire SUNRISE ENTERTAINMENT as its second and last subsidiary label and rebrand it to PANDORA LABELS, disbanding BOMBSHELL! and moving many of their groups over to the label. Many protested this plan, stating that the trainees who were already at PANDORA LABELS would potentially be kicked out to make room for the groups. This turned out to be half true, with fifteen trainees leaving the company soon after the rebranding. However, STARBORN CREATIVE did not stop, continuing to move their groups to the label and eventually debuting PANDORA LABELS' first group, FLEURSHINE, in 2021.

HOUSE OF SCORPIO is a fictional subsidiary label under STARBORN CREATIVE.

In 2017, it was announced that STARBORN CREATIVE would open its first subsidiary label, HOUSE OF SCORPIO, to serve as a music production company. It would also serve as an acting agency for the actors under STARBORN CREATIVE. HOUSE OF SCORPIO was received with open arms and warm welcomes by many fans, and many producers and actors who were once under the main company were moved to HOUSE OF SCORPIO.

Today it houses many successful producers and actors such as producer VO!D and Japanese actor FURUKAWA EITO.

Luo Kaixin was born as an only child to an actor father and an opera singer mother, who had him only a few months before moving to Canada. From his childhood, he was always put into the spotlight, even after his mother retired from the spotlight and his father took on a smaller career as an author and film director before disappearing from their lives. Kaixin easily took up acting and singing, gaining his own following for appearing in commercials and landing small roles in movie that were directed by his father's friends. He also started busking for fun, eventually being scouted by Cre.ker Entertainment in 2015 when he was in South Korea one day to film for one of his father's friend's movies.

In 2016, Kaixin auditioned for Cre.ker Entertainment and got in, training for one year before debuting in the boy group The Boyz as the lead vocalist and visual KJ. However, in 2019, he left both the group and company for unknown reasons, though it is speculated that Kaixin may have been mistreated during his time in Cre.ker. He disappeared from the public eye for a few months before suddenly resurfacing as a new artist under both STARBORN CREATIVE and Glasshouse Inc. He debuted as a soloist in 2021 under the stage name HOWL.

VARSITY ( KR: 바시티 ) is a ten membered boy group under STARBORN CREATIVE. They are well-known for their versatile sound and their fun, mischievous concept.

The group originally debuted in 2017 with twelve members, well received by netizens and being called STARBORN's prettiest boy group. However, the group went through a hiatus in 2019 following a tragic car accident with members DJ, LIAM, A. JUN, and JUNHYUNG, unfortunately resulting in the passing of DJ and JUNHYUNG. Soon after the accident, member A. JUN left both the group and company, stating that he would stay with his family and seek mental help after his brother's passing.

Only three months later, member FABIAN was introduced to the group, making the lineup ten. Members DAESUNG and LIAM soon dropped the lineup again to eight as they left both the VARSITY and STARBORN CREATIVE, stating in their social media that the company was replacing JUNHYUNG and DJ. STARBORN CREATIVE denied the rumors, saying that they were simply trying to 'keep the group going in the deceased artists' memories.' In 2021, members HARU and JISU were added. To this day, the lineup remains the same at ten members.

NIBIRU originally debuted in 2014 as a large coed group called SOLARISM, with eight boys and eight girls in two separate units: NEBULA and NIBIRU. The group originally had started with a complex lore, complete with its own universe and storyline. However, as time went on, the units were treated more and more as separate groups, until STARBORN CREATIVE finally made the official decision to dissolve SOLARISM after four years and redebut NEBULA and NIBIRU under PANDORA LABELS as separate groups with a few new faces, but still keeping their interwoven lore with a few tweaks.

"Hello!"

"Hi, guys!"

Rosé moved forward a little bit, trying to frame Jisoo, Minah and herself perfectly.

"Oh, wait..." she said, trying to see the little monitor. "I think Jisoo unnie is out."

"That's actually me!" Minah said, giggling. She hugged Jisoo's torso and got even closer. "I think it looks great now."

All the three girls tried to check how they were looking from the small camera screen, but it was a big fail. They started laughing as they realised they were being recorded.

"Anyway!" Rosé said, laughing.

"We were watching TV and found something we'd like to do." Jisoo said to the camera. "We waited for this day!"

"And we're here!" Rosé did a 360° turn, showing the street. "This place is so pretty."

"We came here because we wanted to make some pottery." Minah said to the camera. "But now that we're here, I remember how terrible I'm at craftworks."

Jisoo and Rosé laughed, partially agreeing with her.

Minah considered herself a focused person. She had no trouble multitasking or trying new things, always succeeding in almost everything she tried to do. But something inside her knew craftworking wasn't her forte.

Deciding to get into the store, Minah kept her arms linked with Jisoo's as Rosé led the way. As soon as they stepped into it, they were overwhelmed by all those cute little poetry pieces.

"Oh, this is so cute!" Minah pointed out a duck-shaped soap dish. "This too!" she pointed to a mug where the holder was half of a heart. "Guys, I don't think we'll be able to make cute things like this."

"Ours will look more like something made from a caveman." Jisoo joked.

"You guys!" Rosé whined, making the girls laugh. "We can do it."

"What will you guys do?" Jisoo asked the girls.

"One plate is enough for me." Minah said. "I'm tired already."

"There are too many options." Rosé answered and then sighed, surprised, pointing at something. "Look! They have Powerpuff Girls themed plates."

"Our hair match!" Minah said, surprised, also surprising the other girls with that detail.

"I'm Bubbles, Minah is Blossom, and Jisoo unnie is Buttercup." Rosé laughed.

"This is such a tough decision." Jisoo said, taking a look around the place.

After a couple more minutes of looking for the perfect shape, the girls decided to start their pottery class. Minah sat at the end of the table, Rosé on her left and Jisoo on her right.

The team placed the cameras, and the teacher came in.

"Hello!" she greeted the girls.

"Hi!" they said together, smiling at the woman.

"Are you guys ready?"

"Yes!"

"So, we have different types of experiences. Hand building, which is carving the mud with hands. There's also a spinning wheel experience." the teacher pointed at the wheel machine.

Rosé excitedly pointed at the machine, poking Minah.

"We have to do that one." Minah whispered.

"I'll use the spinning wheel and make cups!" Jisoo told them.

"I'll make a soup bowl." Minah said, cracking her fingerbones, ready to start.

"I still don't know what to do." Rosé whined, getting up to look at the cups and small crafts there. Minah and Jisoo sighed together, making the cameramen laugh.

"We'll only start in twenty minutes." Jisoo said.

"Or more." Minah added, taking her phone off her pocket and scrolling down her Instagram feed while Rosé tried to choose which was the cutest.

Rosé came back to the table with three small ornaments.

"Which one should I do of the three?" Rosé asked them, showing the three small cactus.

"Chaeyoung, I love you, but they are all the same." Minah said, chuckling.

"The one with the hat is really cute." Jisoo pointed it out.

"Should I just get the colour of this one? And put the hair on the other side?" Rosé asked, noting everything down.

Minah and the teacher had made eye contact, laughing as the cactus debate started getting too serious.

"What is happening?" the teacher said, giggling.

"Guys, this is not that deep." Minah said, touching the girls' hands and calling them back to their initial goal. "Unnie, why don't we start sketching first? While Rosé is still deciding on hers?"

"Yeah, sure!" Jisoo agreed.

Minah and Jisoo started making their sketch. Minah decided to keep it simple as she didn't have any experience. Leaving with - at least - a mockup of a bowl would be amazing.

"It looks awful." Minah said, laughing at her failed drawing of the bowl. She showed her paper to the teacher, who chuckled. "She laughed!"

A comfortable silence grew as they started focusing more on their task. Sometime in the mid of work, it started to rain, making the atmosphere even more comfortable.

The time passed by, and they talked about everything. The weather, their clothes, how perfectly straight Minah was seating... It was pretty easy to forget they were being filmed when the atmosphere was so calm.

At the end of the day, they made a bunch of art. Minah made her soup bowl, two soju cups, and a flower - Jisoo somehow convinced her it'd make a cute little fridge magnet.

Now, they were waiting for it to bake, to show the final results to fans.

"I think I'll fall asleep as soon as I get home." Rosé said, placing her head on Minah's shoulder.

"We'll come back once it's all baked to show you the results." Jisoo said to the camera, showing off one of her work.

"My dream has come true! A date with Minah and Jisoo. And it's raining too!" Rosé said.

"Oh, that's so cute!" Minah said, hugging Rosé from her shoulder. "You can call me anytime."

"This is so romantic!"

He developed a love for songwriting in high school, using his free time to write down any lyrics he had in mind. As well as songwriting, he joined a dance team outside of school, becoming the third best dancer in the seven-membered team. After winning a writing competition in school with some of his lyrics, he decided to become a professional songwriter and idol and auditioned for JYP Entertainment in 2016. He was accepted, and traveled to South Korea to train for three years before going on the survival show Stray Kids, winning a spot on the debut team and debuting in Stray Kids in 2018.

However, in 2019, only two months after the departure of Woojin, Keito also left both Stray Kids and JYP, citing that he did not like the direction they were going at the time. He disappeared from the public eye for six months, causing many fans to speculate where he was during that time. It was revealed that he had been on Twitch streaming himself playing video games.

Keito later surprised his fans in January of 2021, announcing that he had signed with STARBORN CREATIVE back in 2020 and would be debuting again soon. Following the departure from WANDERLUST of member Peter in May, he was added to the lineup.

Growing up, she aspired to be like her older sister Reyna and repeatedly followed her to her dance lessons. There, she met a teacher, Darío Hernández, who constantly showered her with praises and ideas to run away from home with him to South Korea, where he told her they could become famous. Despite her parents' (rightful) suspicions, Esperanza listened to Darío, faking her death by leaving behind a set of clothes near a river before running away to Korea with Darío under the name Tatiana in 2015.

Once arriving to Korea, Darío had her work at a restaurant to help pay for their shabby apartment, while he taught classes at a dance studio nearby. She later started busking on the streets and was eventually scouted by STARBORN CREATIVE. Despite the substantial amount of money that was promised, Darío refused to let her go, threatening to leave her stranded in Korea without money if she left him. Tatiana escaped in the middle of the night and begged STARBORN CREATIVE for a place to stay as she trained, which they gave and had Darío arrested and extradited back to Mexico; however he refused to speak of Tatiana and her whereabouts.

Tatiana trained for three years under STARBORN CREATIVE before debuting in the girl group Valley of the Dolls as the maknae, main vocalist, and dancer of the group Tati, still under her false name.

NEBULA ( KR: 성운 ), stylized as NΣBUL∆, is an eight membered girl group under PANDORA LABELS. They are well-known for their blended concept of space and cyberpunk.

NEBULA originally debuted in 2014 as a large coed group called SOLARISM, with eight boys and eight girls in two separate units called NEBULA and NIBIRU. The group originally had started with a complex lore, complete with its own universe and storyline. However, as time went on, the units were treated more and more as separate groups, until STARBORN CREATIVE finally made the official decision to dissolve SOLARISM after four years and redebut NEBULA and NIBIRU under PANDORA LABELS as separate groups with new faces, but still keeping their interwoven lore with a few tweaks.

Sorry, Heart | Ming Chapter

Ming has a little run in with some of the members of NCT Dream.

June, 2022

Ming came happily down the stairs with the trophy in her hand. They had just gotten their first win on MCountdown for 'HOT' and everyone was ecstatic.

Ming in her delighted state, didn't notice three figures trying to greet her. She was confused when Joshua pointed his finger to something next to her. Ming slightly turned and was met with Mark, Chenle and Renjun right next to her.

She quietly gasped and immediately bowed. ''Hello, I'm so sorry.'' She apologized to them.

The three Dreamies bowed back to her and assured her it was fine.

She smiled at them and was about to make her way to their dressing room, when Mark spoke up.

''You did 'Kick It' really well.'' He complimented her, referring to her dance on their Caratland fanmeeting.

However, Ming didn't really hear him very well and thought that he said something completely different, something bad.

She turned around. ''What?"

It wasn't what she said that caused Mark to be scared of the woman in front of him, but it was the tone that she used. It was clear to everyone witnessing the moment, that Ming had misunderstood what he said, but that didn't make it any less awkward.

Mark stood frozen in place, not knowing what to say back, but Minghao came to his rescue.

''He said that you danced to 'Kick It' very well on Caratland.'' He clarified for her. He hoped his relaxed demeanor would calm her down.

Ming's eyes widened, realizing the poor guy hadn't said anything bad to her.

She started profusely apologizing to him. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I thought you said something else.'' She kept going, her social anxiety not letting her stop.

Mark just bowed back. ''It's okay, don't worry about it.'' He was relieved that she had just misheard him, he couldn't have lived with himself if he had upset her in some way.

She looked at Minghao for some kind of guidance on what to do now. She might have a lot of idol friends, but being a social butterfly is not one of her strengths.

He mouthed the words ''thank you'' to her, giving Ming the hint that she still had to thank Mark for the compliment.

''Ah, thank you. You do it really well too.'' Really? You do it really well too?, she thought to herself.

Mark blushed. ''Thank you.'' He bowed to her.

Chenle, Renjun and Minghao were trying so hard not to start laughing at the situation.

And Jun couldn't help but embarrass his younger member more. ''She did well, because she watched your fancams.'' He told Mark.

Ming turned her head around just in time to see Jun giving her a thumbs up. She really wanted to die in that moment. It was true she had watched his fancams, but she had also seen the fancams of his other members.

She looked at Mark and just saw him get even more red. He awkwardly thanked Jun and gave him a polite bow.

Joshua decided to pull Ming out of her misery. ''It was nice to see you guys, we're gonna go back to our dressing room.'' He smiled at the Dreamies.

Ming gave them a small bow and walked away, pulling Joshua along.

''Alright, what was that?'' It had been a while, since he was that uncomfortable around other idols.

She shook her head. ''I don't know, why did Jun have to say that? I'm so embarrassed.'' She put her hands on her face, trying to hide her red face.

Joshua laughed at her. ''He meant it well, he just wanted to mess with you.''

''I want to die, oppa.'' She said, dramatically.

He laughed again, he put his arm around her shoulder. Although, he found the interaction slightly uncomfortable, he found it endearing how flustered Ming and Mark were.

They made it to the dressing room and opened the door.

It was a little chaotic, their win still fresh in everyone's mind. Hoshi was the first one to approach her.

''Our trophy, thank you Yerim-ie, you did well today!'' The performance team leader said in his full glory. He took the trophy from her.

She walked to her bag to grab her clothes. She loved her stage outfit, but it was leather and she started to get quite uncomfortable and wanted to change her clothes.

Ming was about to go to her little changing space, when Mingyu stopped her. ''Are you okay?'' He asked her, with a hint of concern in his voice.

She furrowed her eyebrows. ''Yeah, why?''

He looked relieved at her answer. ''No, you just look a bit red in the face, I thought something was wrong.'' He explained.

She awkwardly laughed at him. ''I'm fine, but i'm gonna change now.'' She motioned to her clothes.

He got the memo and walked towards the other members.

While she changed into her comfy clothes, Jun and Minghao came laughing back into the dressing room.

''What are you guys laughing about?'' Seungkwan asked them, quite curious.

They looked around. ''Is Yerim not here?'' Jun asked, not seeing the girl.

''She's changing.'' Mingyu told him.

The two Chinese members shared a look, before bursting into laughter again.

More members started to get curious now.

''Come on guys, what happened?'' Seungcheol asked.

They both calmed down after a few seconds. ''Our Yerim-ie had a interesting conversation with Mark.'' Jun vaguely explained.

''What do you mean with interesting?'' Chan asked.

Minghao smirked at the maknae. ''She misunderstood something he said and almost bit his nose off.''

''I DID NOT!'' Ming was done changing and quickly made her way to where Minghao was standing, ready to defend herself.

He did not look impressed with her. ''Yerim-ah, the poor guy looked like he wanted to die.''

The other members looked on in amusement, with some members even scolding Ming.

''No no, you don't understand. I thought he said something bad to me, but he just complimented the cover I did of 'Kick It' during Caratland. But I immediately apologized to him. It wasn't as bad as they make it seem.'' She didn't want her members to think she was being rude.

She saw most of the members nod at her, she felt relieved she had been able to explain herself.

Of course, that had to be ruined. ''Oh no, it was very bad,'' Joshua countered the girl. ''Myungho had to tell her to thank him and when she did, she told him he did the dance well too.''

A lot of 'Oh'-noises were heard in the dressing room.

''Yah, Yerim-ah, you still can't give compliments after all these years.'' Seungkwan told her, slightly joking, but also slightly scolding the girl.

She just stood there, just taking all the teasing.

''I was trying so hard not to laugh.'' Jun told the guys.

Ming interrupted him, right away. ''Wen Junhui! You can't say anything, you completely embarrassed me out there.''

''Jun-ah, what did you do?'' Jeonghan asked him.

He shrugged his shoulders. ''I just told Mark she watched his fancams.''

Ming had enough of the teasing and wanted to walk away, but Vernon stopped her, putting his arms around her.

''What's all that with Mark, huh?'' He teased her.

She groaned loudly, making the members and even the staff laugh. ''Nothing, it's nothing.''

Minghao spoke up again. ''I think Mark has a little crush on our Yerim-ie over here.'' He lifted his eyebrows.

The room became even more chaotic now.

''You can't date until you're 40!'' She had heard Seungcheol say.

''YerMark, MingMark?'' Seungkwan and Dokyeom were busying themselves with ship names.

Vernon squeezed her shoulder. ''Mark, eh?'' Ming just rolled her eyes at him, being done with the whole conversation.

''Dude, he went completely red when she talked to him, he looked like a tomato.'' Joshua said in English to him.

Their manager interrupted. ''Come on, everyone! We have to leave soon, get ready!'' His voice loud enough for everyone to hear.

The members stopped and slowly got ready to leave. Vernon let go of her and she grabbed her bag. She grabbed her phone and texted back some friends, while waiting to leave.

Eventually, they left and made their way to the cars. They greeted the fans and they were on their way to the next schedule.

She had her earphones in, but Seungkwan tapped her on the knee to get her attention.

''You know we were just teasing you, right?'' The members don't tease Ming like that often, she's quite a sensitive person and they don't want her to take it the wrong way.

She smiled at him. ''I know, but I was just so embarrassed by the whole situation and you know how I get in those kind of social situations. And the members weren’t exactly helpful, except Shua-oppa.'' She explained to him.

Mingyu who was sitting in the front, turned around to talk to her.

''It's alright, Yerim-ah, it was just a misunderstanding. I'm sure Mark understands that.'' Mingyu tried to comfort her.

Seungkwan nodded at his words. ''Yeah, maybe you can send him a message or something, to make it even more clear.'' He suggested to Ming.

She contemplated the idea, she could apologize again and they both could move on from the awkward encounter. ''I'll think about it, but thanks anyway.'' She told Seungkwan.

Both members smiled at her, before going back to what they were doing before.

Ming ultimately decided to just send him an insta dm.

Born to an uber religious family, he was expected to grow up in the ways of God, get a normal, steady job, get married to a nice girl within his religion, and have two children and live next to his parents. However, his dream to become an idol interfered with his expectations, and his parents were not happy to hear of his dreams. They continuously set him up with girls from their church and sent their servants to follow him wherever he went.

In 2010, when Jace was twelve years old, he ran away from home and was found by a couple of American tourists at the airport. They took pity on him, and decided to stay in Thailand for another week to help him find his parents. However, when they did find them, they refused to acknowledge Jace as their son and disowned him. Taking the chance to leave his old life behind, he decided to go to the United States with the couple, who adopted him and he was renamed as Jace Montgomery. He lived in Connecticut for six years.

In 2016, he auditioned and was accepted into STARBORN CREATIVE, where he trained for a year before debuting in VARSITY.

WANDERLUST (KR: 방랑벽), also known as WNDRLST or RUNAWAY BOYS, is a seven membered boy group under PANDORA LABELS.

Soon after the accident, member YEOJUN left both the group and company, saying that it was for "personal reasons." However, many fans didn't believe his reasoning and accused of members PETER and LIANGRUI of bullying him to leave, citing evidence through past livestreams where they were allegedly seen "shutting him down." This was proven false by both PANDORA LABELS and WANDERLUST themselves, but still many fans accused the two of bullying until PETER left the group, stating that he was "tired of so many false rumors of his character and having to feel stressed to even get on social media," and was replaced (and subsequently erased) by KEITO, a former member of STRAY KIDS. LIANGRUI, on the other hand, stayed.

The group originally debuted as nine, well received by international netizens who praised them for their concept and lyrics that talked about emotional and mental issues. However, the group went through a hiatus in 2021 following a car accident with member DAL, who was left with a broken leg for the remainder of the year. DAL later left the group, stating that he "was holding the group back with his injury."

Even after the scandals surrounding the certain members, WANDERLUST continues to make music surrounding dark topics. They are still well loved internationally more than domestically.
