“The first step is telling the truth”
This is something that applies to all aspects of our lives. You don't need to tell anyone, you just need to be honest with yourself. There is a difference between telling the truth and not lying. You can get out of not lying by avoiding or diverting the topic. However, telling the truth requires a level of self-belief and confidence that I believe is necessary to get us to where we want to be in our lives. After experiencing depression and being gaslit for the first half of my life, I realized just how important it is to be honest with ourselves whether it’s about our emotions, opinions, finances, or facts on what happened. We start by taking a stand with ourselves first, allowing roots to take place before anyone else has a chance to uproot them.

Whatever you do, aim to do your best. Whatever is going on, aim to find something "good" in the midst of the circumstance or situation. This might, at times, feel like one of the most difficult things you've ever had to do. But, trust that it will be worth it in the end! Aim to find the good in everything, so you can keep seeing/manifesting more good in your life. ✨️ . . . #AwakenToYourTruth #goodthings #goodvibesonly #focusonthegood #good #lessonoftheday #focus #manifestyourdreams #liveyourbestlife #inspiration https://www.instagram.com/p/Cl2pl7TuqwC/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

This lesson might not be new, but it definitely serves as a wonderful reminder to refer to as often as it is needed. BE MORE GENTLE WITH YOURSELF! Stop beating up on yourself. And stop being your own worst critic. You deserve so much more than what you believe you deserve. You deserve the level of love, respect and honor that you show to everyone else (but yourself)! You deserve to feel appreciated for all that you do, and how much you serve. You deserve to be reminded of how amazing you are. You deserve to be told that you are loved, you are loving and you are an extension of pure LOVE energy in this world! ✨️ You deserve to know how amazing you truly are. Just because things don't look ideal right now, does not mean that you've "failed." In fact, it is likely just a sogn that you are moving in the right direction. So, give yourself some grace and be gentle with where you are right now. Be gentle with yourself, as you come to even realize that you are still moving towards what you are aiming to get to in life. Your goals WILL be accomplished. Your results WILL be attained. Your success WILL become visible. Just trust YOUR unique process, Give yourself some grace, and keep moving forward and taking action towards your Big Goals and Dreams. YOU'VE GOT THIS! 💪💗 . . . #AwakenToYourTruth #selflove #begentlewithyourself #honoryourself #honoryourtruth #liveyourbestlife #livelovelaugh #respectyourself #healthyrelationship #loveyou #loveyourself #unapologeticallyyou #appreciation #appreciateyourself #lessonoftheday https://www.instagram.com/p/Cl0FdDYO1yV/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

We all make mistakes all the time, it is human nature. As we go through life we have plenty of opportunity to learn and improve ourselves. Therefore, no matter what kind of criticism is aimed at you, analyse it to find something you can learn from it. When somebody is attacking your character it is hard to accept, but that does not mean you should ignore it.There is usually some truth in criticism, even when it appears to be given out of spite and bitterness. It is often the case that a slight on your character is a fair reflection of how another person sees you at that point in time. Take a step back and try to see things from the other person’s point of view, perhaps ask a friend for their honest opinion – use criticism wisely and as a learning experience. See if it is possible to learn a little about how others perceive you, you may be able to use criticism to improve your interpersonal skills.

History... Did You Know... Egypt is in Africa. It was called Kemet. Kemet means black. Egyptian people were originally dark-skinned Africans. Egyptian Pharoahs were black for 2,500 years, before the Ptolemaic Era (Greeks) and then Roman era. Did you know that Africans built the pyramids during the OLD kingdom? Waaaay before Greeks or the Romans. Did you know that during the height of slavery that colonial empires from Europe refused to give credit to Africans for anything, because it didn't fit the slave-filled, colonial narrative of a lower level human. That is why so many statues, not just the Sphinx, had their noses knocked off, and why some scientist, even today, want to say everyone but black Africans built the pyramids... even ''aliens.'' Did you know that mummy renderings have generally been given features and skin tones that are slightly more European, because it's the surest way to bring more tourists.
