So the best thing to do would be to have the first film as this huge huge build up where you go, hey Rey is building up the Jedi Order, ain't that great...? But gradually you reveal, bit by bit, that not only is the real Coming Big Bad not what everyone thought it was, but that there are so many problems with just trying to bring back the Jesuits sorry Jedi, and Rey is missing something too...
Because of these deficiencies, Rey and her charges are nearly wiped out, but by starting to change they manage to escape... And it starts to be clear how much work they need to do to overcome the real Big Bad, and that they need another Force User with experience of both sides...
The clues then come together in the final climax to reveal that maybe she could, and she absolutely should, bring Ben Solo back.
Second film, the search for Ben Solo
Third film, big bad still needs defeating, the problems you'd expect when you bring back Darth Vader's grandson need sorting, the course of true love never does run smooth, but at the end, peace! A better not-Jedi, not-Sith Order! Love, family, babies.
And get good writers and directors in or you'll never get Adam Driver back. Perhaps offer a deal, we'll help finance one indie film of your choice for each blockbuster?

I long for missed possibilities. For the wedding I will never have. For a house and a spouse and little feet padding around. I miss all the high school parties I never got invited to. The relationships that everyone and everything talk about. I miss the chance to do any drugs because I’d probably rat them out. I missed my wild child phase. I wish I’d been young when I was young.
