Small rant about Leviathan (Obey me)

I cannot fully express my undying love for that man. Like the first time I saw him I was like "I don't know about this one." Then after the first few interactions I just fell into a deep pit and I don't plan on digging myself out anytime soon.

He's just such a fun character. He cries if he has to leave the house, he can summon LOTAN a fucking monster! He is an avid anime and game lover and his favorite character is a cute pink demon slayer while being a demon himself (Don't you dare try to tell me his love for Ruri is romantic or creepy because it is NOT, she is his comfort character, the body pillow isn't even close to being inappropriate. I can go on but I may do so in a different late night rant.).

He has gotten himself and the other characters stuck in cursed video games on MULTIPLE occasions.

He has a tail! He sleeps in a bathtub! His best friend is a goldfish! He's a huge nerd! He keeps giving his brother money even though he never gets it back!

He's the love of my life your honor I think about him too much. I don't think about him enough. I THINK about HIM.

You know what also scares me? The future of some La Masia kids. One of the things I like about Xavi is how he invests so much in these kids and gives them chances and opportunities. I mean.. look at how many La Masia boys he's been bringing up to the first team over the time! I'm scared that whoever comes next is just gonna completely let go of these kids and other key players and throw it all away. I sincerely hope that doesn't happen. It would be too heartbreaking to watch.

So I'm starting to get into tekken. I've had the disc for tekken 3 for a while, but only recently got around to playing it. Out of the base roster, Xiaoyu clicked with me the most. Idk if she's good in the meta or whatever, but she feels the best to play so far. We'll, it's been a couple days and I finally beat arcade mode for the first time. Damn this game is fun. I'm normally not super into competitive multiplayer games, especially fighting games and their complex inputs, and I figured ESPECIALLY not tekken since I know how hard it can get to master, but like... I might be wrong on that. I'm pleasantly surprised to find I can comprehend most of what is happening. This is the first fighting game I've really put in effort to be good at (besides my 3rd Strike phase) and it's cool to see it actually paying off. I'm using very minimal tutorials, just learning on my own, which feels very gratifying (I've always been like that though, I pretty much taught myself how to make music too). My only complaint with tekken 3 is that I have to use the ps1 dpad, which is very uncomfortable, but aside from that? Really vibing.

I love how it's been over 20 years and the aliens still don't really have a backstory? Like we got a whole episode dedicated to a random alien and we still no basically nothing about the 3 main villains of the show? We know there mission and there peoples history but nothing distinctly about them is it even canon there brothers?

In all fairness, nobody should be surprised at what Kiss is doing but I’m just surprised they actually waited this damn long becoming even more cringe than they already were. The 5000 different farewell tours wasn’t enough for them I guess and it just goes to show what lengths Gene and Paul will go to ditch their own self respect (if they ever did have any which I highly doubt) and milk themselves like they have been for the past 30+ years. Something about Eliot Spencer

Just found out that Leverage Redemption season 2 is out and it's drawn me right back into my leverage obsession—Eliot Spencer is back!!!! Ahhhhhhh!!!!

tbh when I first started watching I really didn't expect to like him much, let alone love him as much as I do. He might've even been the one that I liked least out of the five, after watching the first episode 

cuz he was the brawn and I've always loved brains. he was brash, he was angry, he wanted to solve everything with his fists.

yeah his fight scenes were cool, but I was never the type to watch action movies just for the action. The others seemed smarter, cooler; Eliot was just... well, the hitter

But that’s exactly what he wants you to see

he wants people to underestimate him, to ignore him, to forget about him until he has a chance to seize everyone up and take them all out before they can even react. And so he does a good job of .. playing dumb i guess [excellent example of grifter skills]

but of course he is smart. You would have to be in order to plan and take care of every contingency, so no one gets hurt. You would have to be in order to win so many fights against so many people (and make it seem so easy). He is always at a disadvantage (“I don’t like guns”), yet he (almost?) always has the upper hand. As he has demonstrated again and again, he can be calculating, especially when he fights. [Summary: Amazing Tactician] He is brilliant, and he doesn’t even realize—he thinks what he does is normal/simple (“It’s a very distinctive...”). To be able to know and actually utilize that information... thats sherlock holmes. [Inductive Reasoning] He knows he’s not dumb, but I don’t think he knows how smart he is, either

and have I mentioned how much I love it when he lets his intelligence shine through? Like when he offers a solution no one on the team thought of (brain scan, Snow Job) Like when he learns to play professional level baseball super fast (getting good at a sport is really hard, ppl) When he is the first to assess a situation and react appropriately, whether it be a possible threat or the emotional states of his teammates [EQ] 

and he is kind. he loves kids (cannot miss those interactions). he wants to do good even though he thinks he is bad. This has become a list of eliot’s amazing traits  don’t get me started about the cooking (y’all can imagine how much i loved ep3) so maybe i should stop

I know I probably forgot so much… I should do a rewatch while i agonizingly wait for new episodes. I also know people have done absolutely amazing analyses of Eliot. this is just... a brief declaration of love?

Joe Rogan is an interesting case study into the modern bipartisanship.

He is the most curious man in pop culture today, having guests ranging in skill an intelligence, trades and professions. But he is also the most gullible person in pop culture today, and will accept anything these people say at face value even if it is utter nonsense with no foundation as long as they claim to be a professional.

And while he holds many progressive values and worldly knowledge because of his curiousiy and room for growth, his gullibility still makes him lean towards reactionary conservatism.

I just watched a video (it doesn’t matter what about) and at the end of the video the guy says “Pepe the frog and the “OK” hand gesture aren’t white supremacist symbols. 4Chan trolls just made them like that.”

First of all, yeah they fucking are white supremacist symbols. They weren’t before but white supremacists took that seriously and adopted them as hate symbols. We don’t see the Swastika as a Hindu symbol meaning “peace” for a reason.

And second, Pepe the frog became a white supremacist symbol when white supremacist Richard Spencer had a Pepe pin on his jacket. (And then he got punched, like all Nazis should be.)

That reminded me of another video I watched a while ago. It was about a murder that happened. (Yes, I know. Those videos just kind of shows up in recommendations and I don’t have anything else to watch at 1 in the morning.) Somebody was stabbed to death. Without being prompted to the person telling the story was like “You know, she could’ve survived if she just had a gun to shoot the stabber with.”

The stabbing took place in Australia, way after the gun ban. If she could afford a black market gun she could’ve easily afforded a fucking security system. (At least a gate.) The gun nut decided to just spout her love of guns randomly just like every other gun nut does.

I'm only one completion mark away from having a 100% file in Isaac! Tainted Jacob is a bitch to play, but if I just get lucky and get a busted run then I'll have a chance lol. Today I did alt path with him and got:

Floor 1 curse room red chest into devil deal with spirit of the night

Floor 2 item room was scapular, which meant my low health wasn't an immediate concern

Floor 2 deal room had guppy's eye AND collar, and I could afford both by intentionally touching Esau after picking up the first one

Floor 3 had magic skin, so if I was able to get into a curse room safely with a spare heart container I could use the skin to fish for a third guppy piece

Floor 4 had a sacrifice room I could use infinitely via scapular, which gave me redemption and also gave me an angel room with star of bethlehem

Floor 5 finally had the curse room, and I had enough HP ups by this point thanks to some clutch pills that I was able to hit magic skin 3 times and land guppy's head, which makes 3 guppy items. It was at this point I realized how clutch redemption would be, since all of my devil deals would be magic skin but I could back out of the deal and be rewarded

The rest of the run basically played itself. Genuinely one of the wildest runs I've had in a while.

Wow I can't stand to be on ticktok right now. If you don't know, on ticktok currently there is a similar trend to Goncharov but instead it's about a 80s thriller.

I think what I'm finding really annoying about it is that people are commenting it on everything. When Goncharov was Happening you could go in and out of it, you could pretty much completely avoid it if you wanted to. With Zepotha it's everywhere and not even on an interesting way - just people spamming comments about how "wow this is just like Zepotha".

There is nothing else there.

I’m getting a little frustrated with Step by Step, to be honest! I really want to like this show, but!!!

I normally really like slow burn and I really appreciate when a show takes it’s time and has space to breath, but I feel like this show almost suffer from having a lot of time to work with. Like, it has so much time and yet it doesn’t really feel like it is used productively… idk

I really liked Jeng’s scenes this episode though. The breaking down scene, omg 😭 I really like the way his struggle is shown

Also, with all that time why can’t they afford a couple of more scenes for Jaab and Jane, like what is going on there?? I was so invested in their story and now it’s going nowhere, and it doesn’t even make sense that it’s going nowhere!

Next episode does look promising, at least on the PatxJeng front
