Idk for sure if it's an observation of lalaloopsy as a whole but in the entirety of the series there are only 8 boys so...are men like an endangered species in the lalaloopsy world ?

Because Lalaloopsy is a doll line primarily marketed towards girls, it’s a common sight to see only a few boys alongside dozens of girls.

But Lalaloopsy Girls presents a strange scenario with the lack of boys on campus.

If we were to judge based on the title, there was no intention to make older versions of the boy characters either.

Because Lalaloopsy Girls never continued, all we have left is to assume either the boys are attending a separate academy, or (at worst case) are seen as the inferior gender and are left home. 😭

Also among the Littles we only got one boy (Matey), so one can only imagine when the Littles grow older he’d be the only boy in their generation!

I think it also applies to We’re Lalaloopsy as well, even with the confirmation of outside towns and all there’s only two boys living in Town Square.

Personally, I think Lalaloopsy Girls has the worst implications about gender since it is meant to be the “older years” for the main Lalaloopsy. No official word of what becomes of Patch, Forest, Ace, even the boys who never appeared in the cartoons.

However there is worse. The spin-offs of different casts (Oopsies, Ponies, and Pet Pals) consist entirely of girls. Don’t even think about questioning gender inequality for boys, because the boys don’t exist!

.the Lala-oopsie movie revolves around a strawberry milk shortage that nearly ends their world (and said world is also implied to be real and accessible in the lalaloopsy world)

.Tate McRae (yes, the popstar Tate McRae) was known as the voice of Spot Splatter Splash in the tv show (and in the video games, iirc)

.Surprise Party Curl is the character with the least amount of info, her mini coming with the cake playlet for the Super Silly Party line. She has no known birth date or material she's sewn from. My headcanon is that she's sewn from birthday wrapping paper

.Lalaloopsy Babies literally retcons the initial canon of them being brought to life at age 7 or so, but the existence of Lalaloopsy Girls and the lore of them going to school at age 16 implies they age the way people do

.If sex is canon as the previous asks suggests, then I have to bring up that pooping is canon by the same logic. Biggest evidence is the series (there's six or so) of pooping Lalaloopsy Babies dolls (famously(?) covered by the Nostalgia Critic in one of his commercial specials).

.In the nick jr. cartoon, Forest's beaver is implied to be horny as shit

.Lalaloopsy Newborns were a spin-off of the Babies line consisting of a bunch of hand-sized plastic dolls in cute hats. Each two shared a different gimmick
