Something that makes me cry is no one I have ever met has actually READ how to train your dragon. They don’t know. They don’t know how different it is. How rich the plot and how shallow it makes the movies seem. I just want people to draw hiccup and toothless the way they were written. Because to me they’re always the nerdy and easily scared boy and the green little dragon. ❤️

imagine: you get your memories back after years of amnesia to find out your whole species is dead and earth doesn’t exist anymore. that the only thing left of your culture is your weird ex and his busted honda civic that barely even works that he stole from the government when he was 13. And he’s been taking members of an alien species for trips in his honda civic and they’re all like “woah it’s so cool” and you get upset because it’s NOT COOL it’s a honda civic, the turn signals don’t even work “wow it can go up hills” yeah OF COURSE IT CAN GO UP HILLS EVERY CAR COULD DO THAT. but they’ve never seen a car before so everything it does is the coolest thing ever. And your ex’s only tool is a fucking screwdriver which is somehow also cool to this dumbass alien species even though it’s a fucking screwdriver so you just look like an idiot screaming about how none of this is even cool it’s actually really shitty but your whole planet is gone so you can’t even prove it but also you’ve had a constant drumming sounding in your head since you were 10 slowly driving you insane. I would become evil too.

"we wanna keep the price low enough where anybody and everybody is able to afford it" for an unnecessary $6 a month subscription from the mouth of someone who drives a tesla and wants to make a show where he judges whether a dish with edible gold and caviar on top of it is "worth it" while the majority of their audience is struggling to make rent is giving high key let them eat cake energy

I think the crux of what makes the rat grinders so damn rage-inducing is just. How fucking entitled their whole stance is. Like sure they've put in a lot of time! And frankly, if they were just trying to graduate, put in the work, and get out with average fucking grades that would be fine.
But instead the first thing we know about them is that they feel the treatment some people (the bad kids) get is unfair. And like. That's what makes it so frustrating when the revelation comes of what they've been doing for the last two years. Because in those two years they have risked nothing and helped no one. Killing rats in a trainee forest doesn't change anything. The rats are just there. They're not a threat to anyone, there isn't any danger. Nobody needs to be doing that.
Meanwhile, the bad kids have quite literally saved the world three fucking times. The number of people who have directly benefitted from the actions of the bad kids is astronomical! And they have risked so goddamn much in the process. They have repeatedly put everything they have and are on the line, with the only beneficial reward they've gotten being their grades. Hell, mostly their success has just resulted in them being burdened with more work!
So when these fucking rat grinders show up and start complaining that the bad kids are getting favored unreasonably, they and we all know how absolutely bullshit it is, because the reality is, the bad kids have put in so much more work than the rat grinders have, for barely any reward.

qFit has said multiple times that he isn't a big fan of the idea of a marriage and would prefer a long time partnership.
qPac said he doesn't believe in marriage because his parents are divorced and he ended up in an orphanage.
qMike and Ramón agreed to start planning their marriage today
I'm glad that Fit and Pac are kinda on the same page (they haven't talked about it so they don't know that) but it's so fucking funny that both Mike and Ramón just went "marriage. now."

For a series who’s media/pop culture obsession centered so heavily around the supposed ‘love triangle’ aspect- the hunger games movies really cut out most of the books’ actual love story
Like I feel like they cut out almost all of the important moments of katniss and peeta falling in love from the books and *for what*?? (like we could’ve gotten them being all oblivious/crushing on each other before the first arena, all that time in the cave, ofc all those moments in d12 before the quarter quell announcement, their picnic on the roof before the quarter quell, THE BOOK, I could go on)
Bc the hunger games *is* (among other things ofc) a love story- so why not emphasize it in the movies?? I mean they clearly wanted to bank on the romance element why not do it right

not to get all "actually☝️" about it but. the whole point of this is the fact that it isn't at all eddie's fault and buck just doesn't know how to properly process or recognize his feelings and know what he's missing *until* he gets presented with a specific situation. in truth buck has no right to be mad at eddie for building bonds with other ppl and it's why he has to do some introspection. this is not a "oh no poor buck eddie apologize to him!!!" thing, it's about buck getting, for lack of a better term, a good emotional humbling. eddie deserves good friendships and relationships, full stop. and if he likes the way he feels when he hangs out with tommy then great!! he's his own person and not a tool to further buck's character. but you also can't expect buck to immediately recognize that because, again, and for the millionth time, the whole POINT is that he doesn't. so if it has to get ugly and uncomfortable and embarrassing for him to do so then that is what will happen and that doesn't make either of them bad people. this is not a blame to be passing around. it's just them being human beings
