Devils Edge Damascus Blades. New, in stock and available to order!
Tumblr media
The vibrant patterning on these blades is created when the hand-forged blade is formed from two different steels which are skillfully melded and folded by the bladesmith. Like a fingerprint, no two are exactly alike.

So Mina enjoys his submissiveness, and blushes at his bloodlust aura and big machete, and likes his feminity. She contains multitudes.
She's just like me fr

Condor – King Kukri Machete
The King Kukri machete is modeled after larger kukri examples from different regions in Nepal, and features a wide special fuller out of the middle (often referred to as a chirra) to give the large 12.6-inch blade a good amount of balance by removing some weight from its heaviest part, making this Kukuri much more lively and swift in the hand than would be expected from such a large bladed Kukri. The blade is crafted from well-tempered 1075 high carbon steel and is both tough and robust and well-capable of slicing and hacking through even very thick targets. The Kukuri is made as durable as possible by directly riveting its walnut grip scales to a very thick blade tang.
Included is a thick sheath of welted leather with buttoned retaining straps and a swivel-mounted belt loop.

i learned what was the most epic thing anyone has ever done
Bishnu Shrestha, a 35-year-old Gurkha soldier, was on his way to home after retiring from his position as Naik in Gurkha Infantry . He was travelling via the Maurya Express . About forty armed robbers attacked the train while it was passing through dense jungle and robbed valuables of passengers.
He was asleep when the looters reached him. He was quiet and prepared to give up his valuables, but the 18-year-old girl next to him was grabbed by the robbers who intended to rape her in front of her parents . The girl called for help. He could not sit back and witness all happenings . He pulled out his khukuri, used one of the attackers as shield and attacked other robbers. He succeeded in killing three robbers and injuring eight other robbers.
Tumblr media
By then, passengers also started fighting back.
The robbers that were left ran away.
He was heavily bleeding from his left hand.
At next station, police and emergency were waiting for them. They took him to the hospital immediately.
After two months, he was fully recovered.
Also, robbers were arrested with money and other valuable things.
He received Sena medal and Uttam Jeevan Raksha Padak medal for this bravery.
Tumblr media
Also the family of the girl on the train offered him large cash reward but he refused saying ,"Fighting the enemy in battle is my duty as a soldier. Taking on the thugs on the train was my duty as a human being."

POV: You’re Dracula and  some twerpy lawyer busts open your coffin while you're just trying to go home.

(Image Description: two low-angle, sepia photographs of OP cosplaying as Jonathan Harker, a young man with messy white hair.  He is wearing a cravat, vest, and woolen overcoat, and is brandishing a slightly curved knife.  End ID.)
I know I’m more than a week past the final Dracula Daily e-mail, but last weekend, I finally had some time to try another Dracula closet cosplay.  Since I cosplayed Jonathan at the start of the novel, I thought it would be fun to revisit him at the end of the story...but unfortunately, the white wig I have is nowhere close to the original hairstyle from my first closet cosplay, and the closest thing I had to a kukri knife was my Cutco squash knife.  Ah, well.  It was still fun to play around with these photos.
As Anon pointed out, this is not the correct way to use a kukri knife.  If you’re interested in learning proper techniques, check out The Khukuri House’s explanation: https://www.thekhukurihouse.com/khukuri-handling
Bonus pictures are under the cut.

...and a bonus “Oh, Jesus, we’re really in it now” picture.

/k/ says Himalayan Imports or Khukuri house. Actually, two anons rec’d Khukuri house. Kailish Blades was also rec’d.
Well yeah but those anons know less about this than me. Khukuri house is one of the manufacturers of "poorly balanced tourist kukris" that I was talking about. I mean as far as I can tell they're not bad, but I gather that they are suboptimal. Himalayan Imports is in fact actually bad. Kailish Blades I gather is quite good, although I only heard about them recently. If I can't find anything else I may eventually get a Kailish Blades kukri. That said, they are explicitly making reproductions—very good reproductions, but reproductions—and that's somewhat less desirable to me. My preference, all else being equal, would be for one that was actually military issue, and the thing is I know they're still in service! But idk who is making them for militaries. If it actually is kukri house, which I've heard rumblings of, I will feel vaguely disappointed at the world and just get a reproduction. But idk.
I mean this should be public knowledge, right? Like the gear that's issued to different units is, baring exceptions, publically known? Is there a place where that information is collected online? I feel like I should just be able to see who the Indian/Nepalese/British militaries are buying from. I could be a tax paying citizen just trying to do my due diligence for all they know!

Damn your Mina with hair down rant is just Jono Harker himself /lh And I love the drawing. But poor baby :(
Jonathan when bad things happen to Mina: "I don't resonate with this!! I just get angry at God for letting it happen!!"
Van Helsing: "I'll fix it!" *proceeds to make it much much much worse*
Jonathan: *brandishes khukuri* "Old man, I swear- you'd be much easier to kill than God--"
