okay so i've been mulling over modern AU tadfools for a while and this is what i got so far
Lae'zel is a skater lesbian (and super autistic lmao), nobody really knows what her whole deal is but they are pretty sure she was raised by some kind of doomsday cult
she's flatmates with Karlach, who is really into MMA and partying it up now that she finally moved out of her old flat where everyone else were just the most fucked up assholes in existence, everyone exclusively calls it "hell" when talking about it
Astarion is the most flamboyant catty twink in existence and currently crashing on their couch because he's been kind of broke since he left his much older toxic boyfriend Cazador (who won't stop bothering him on Grindr)
Shadowheart is the nu goth girl who lives across the hall from them and is really into crystals and witchcraft/paganism, Lae has a crush on her but doesn't know how to deal with it so she's just really mean all the time
Wyll met Karlach when she almost put his lights out in a drunk brawl at a frat party but now they are besties and he constantly hangs around their flat, his father is a politician and he is dating Mizora, who is his dad's lawyer and everybody is telling him to break up with her because she's toxic af but for some reason he just can't bring himself to do it
Gale lives in the same building and never goes outside ever since his ex broke up with him but he met the rest because his cat slipped outside and he had to catch her again and Karlach had picked her up and brought her home because she thought it was so cute
Halsin is an old hippie guy who is the pot dealer of the whole party and constantly tells everyone how great Woodstock was whether they asked or not (they did not)
Jaheira is the teacher of Karlach's MMA group and comes over occasionally because hanging with them "reminds her of her wild twenties" and "makes her feel young again", sometimes she brings her buddy Minsc who is the life of the party
dunno about Minthara she always died in my playthroughs up until now so can't really say much about her
Raphael is their landlord and just insanely weird about everything, everyone is dreading when he shows up except Astarion who thinks "he's got a certain je ne sais quoi to him" (cue everyone throwing pillows at him and booing him for his terrible taste in men)
Gortash is Karlach's ex who got her into "hell" in the first place, he's a lawyer and nobody likes him, there's a dart board with his face taped on it in the bathroom and nobody knows who put it there (it was Lae'zel)
Ketheric is the owner of the law firm he works at and Orin is his other junior partner, she and Gortash are constantly competing about who will inherit the firm despite Ketheric never saying anything about planning to retire, he hates both of them and wishes his daughter Isobel would take over but she quit law school to go to a liberal arts college with her girlfriend whom Ketheric refuses to acknowledge

I may or may not have made more of the custom icons for character backgrounds, they are just so fun to make Havren🌿, the Faithwarden, last of the Moon Circle of Baldur's Gate Jonnah Jardeth🦅, a proud member of Griffon Cavalry of Waterdeep Avvara⚔️, the ruthless Crimson Gladiator of the undercity Mauvr🎻, the mysterious bard of the Underdark and the wielder of the darkwood mandolin Firwirtaris🌩️, the son and the chosen one of Talos, He-who-brings-storm Feofas🌙, one of the original harpers who fought Ketheric, preserved in a crystal for a hundred years in the Shadow-Cursed lands

this may be a weird question but do you have a favorite moments for taking screenshots in game? like a place/time in the story, because i can’t find a cutscene with good lighting or colors lol
Not a weird question! I don’t have any specific favourite cutscene, since a lot of them are cool (edit: I later lie because I do have favourites) The best places for me to get good lighting/colours are in camp usually and then I talk to a companion facing some light. Otherwise I will walk a companion near a light source, like the campfire, and then quickly talk to them before the leave to go back to their tent. A good tip to get GOOD lighting on your character, is ask a dialogue option to whoever you are talking to and when the camera switches to their face, you pause and use the freecam to go back to your tav’s face. For some reason, it provides the softest lighting. You can do the same with a companion. Once it swaps to your tav’s face, it lights up the companion’s face well too.
As for any specific cut scenes, I guess the dream guardian ‘hug’ scene is pretty and has nice lighting/background. The gymforge when talking to Nere is also nice and warm. I prefer to do locations usually, so the underdark by the sussur tree, the beachfront has a nice purple lighting (with the crystals), the gymforge and gymforge camp have nice warm and fiery lighting. Last light in can be nice if you angle near the torches right. (Sometimes I spend like 10 minutes just trying to get the light hitting my Tav/Astarion’s face correctly by constantly shifting them around a small area and continuing to enter dialogue with him lol). Pretty much Act 2 has really nice moments for screenshots. The Ketheric fight first stage also has some cool moments for screenshots. One of my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITES are Lae’zel’s act 3 romance (watching the sunrise); the lighting is gorgeous and many beautiful expressions. And then shadowheart and shar’s scene, both Tav/Shadowheart make such heartbreaking expressions and the atmosphere is beautiful.
Hopefully that gave you some ideas!!

Remnants
Tumblr media
Summary: Unable to sleep, they go and confront the phantom that haunts their fragmented mind.
Rating: MATURE
Warnings: Smut, abusive undertones
Pairing: Gender-neutral Dark Urge/Durge x Enver Gortash (Mentions of Durge/Astarion/Halsin)
Word Count: 1,735
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It had been a while since the Necrotic Labrartoty and even longer since Durge had glanced at the scroll they'd found there.
On nights when sleep was impossible, they would steal away, reading and rereading the passage, each time feeling the creeping tendrils of familiarity intertwining with the sheer horror of the revelation. It was their own hand that had penned these dark intentions, their own thoughts twisted and corrupted by the influence of their divine heritage.
"...Forgive me, Father, for I cannot help but admire the Chosen of your sworn foe: Enver Gortash's genius will take us far, but fear not - those of Bane always fall to the same folly: they cannot see the beauty of obliteration. The Absolute hoax will garner false love from our new slaves, but once I've built a large enough army, I will use our hold upon the Absolute's slaves to begin this vile world's end.
I can see the path through Gortash's brilliant plan. Gortash, Ketheric, and I will seize the Netherese relics that control the Crown and then use the Crown to command the illithid Grand Design. The Dead Three, age-old foes and our dire patrons, will be bosom friends for a time.
Father, you created me to be the last soul alive. When the time is right, and my power is assured, I will slaughter Gortash and Ketheric upon your altar, where I myself hope to die when the world itself is gasping its last.
At the end of this all, Father, there will be not a single creature living. Everyone will die. Everyone will die for YOU. I will make you proud…"
Durge's mind echoed with the words. A puzzle of their past slowly took form as they discovered more of who they'd been. Durge was created and crafted for a much darker purpose than they had ever imagined, but which explained the haze of red that threatened to consume them.
One thing became crystal clear: Gortash was the root of their inner turmoil, then and now.
A tiny flame of defiance flickered in their heart. Durge refused to be a puppet manipulated by their divine progenitor. They were determined to forge their own path, carve their own destiny, and resist the darkness that threatened to consume them.
Despite the shadow of their past self, Durge longed to know themselves once more, and only one person knew who that was.
Under the cover of darkness, Durge waited until the soft sounds of sleep filled the camp. Ignoring the gnawing guilt as they slip away from the warmth of their partners' embrace. Ignoring the gentle pull of Halsin's comforting presence and the cool touch of Astarion's hand, Durge's mind was consumed by a singular purpose: to confront Enver Gortash.
Guided by fragments of recollection, Durge navigated the shadows of Baldur's Gate, their footsteps barely making a sound as they entered Gortash's private chamber. The air was thick with anticipation, every heartbeat echoing in Durge's ears as they approached the door.
With trembling hands, Durge pushed the door open, revealing the dimly lit room. Gortash sat at a desk, his back to Durge as if he knew they were coming.
"Darling," he turned towards them, a sly twinkle in his eye. His voice was like velvet, smooth and seductive, sending shivers down their spine as he spoke. "I've been waiting for you. You're a day late, but I can forgive you."
There was no fear in Gortash's eyes, only a sense of anticipation, as if he knew the depths of Durge's heartache and welcomed it with open arms.
Durge's heart raced as they stepped further into the room, their gaze never leaving Gortash. Memories, both painful and intoxicating, flooded their mind as they struggled to find the words to express the tumultuous emotions raging within them.
"Why did you do it?" Durge finally managed to choke out, their voice barely above a whisper yet filled with raw emotion.
Gortash stood, his expression unreadable. "Do what, my dear?" he asked, his tone dripping with mock innocence.
The air crackled with tension; their body ridged with a mixture of anger, confusion, and desire. The dim light cast eerie shadows across the room.
"You know what I'm talking about," Durge insisted, their voice trembling with suppressed emotion. "You toyed with me, manipulated me, knowing I'd seek you out. Why?"
Gortash regarded them with a cool detachment, his gaze piercing through the darkness. "Ah, my dear Durge," he replied, his voice dripping with honeyed charm. "You misunderstand; I am not the villain Karlach painted me as my love."
Durge recoiled at the mention of love, the word carrying a crushing weight. "Love?" they scoffed, disbelief coloring their tone. "You call what we did love? You used me, manipulated me for your own twisted desires."
Gortash's lips curled into a snarl. "Is that what you believe? Perhaps you have yet to remember the truth of our connection."
Durge's fists clenched at their sides, their resolve hardening with each passing moment. "I don't need your lies," they spat, their voice laced with venom.
Gortash grabbed Durge, their strong, calloused hands tangling in Durge's hair, pulling them close. "What we had was never a lie," Gortash growled, his deep voice rumbling through Durge's body. "I may be Baane's chosen, but when we are together, there is no grand design, only us. Only this overwhelming feeling." He kissed them, their lips crashing together with an almost violent passion, and Durge drowned in him, fangs and claws tearing at one another's clothing.
Durge's body moved on autopilot, their mind consumed by a different kind of red haze, a primal need to dominate and possess Gortash. They slammed him onto the bed, their lips and teeth attacking his exposed skin with a ferocity that left both of them gasping for air.
Gortash's moans only fueled Durge's desire as they sucked at the blood that welled within the love bites they left in their wake. His hands clawed at Durge's back, leaving deep scratches that only served to heighten their pleasure.
Their bodies moved together in a frenzied dance, each touch igniting a fire within them that threatened to consume them both. Clothes were torn and discarded as they desperately sought more skin to mark and claim.
The familiar scent of blood and sweat filled the air, and the sweet sound of Gortash's voice.
His moans and pleas only fueled Durge's hunger, driving them to sink their fangs deeper into his flesh. They reveled in the taste of his blood, the rush of power that surged through their veins.
As they reached the peak of their passion, Durge could feel their control slipping away, eyes glowing with that hunger. Gortash's grip on Durge's body tightened, almost to the point of pain. But Durge welcomed it, relished in the sharp sting that pushed them both closer to the edge.
In that moment, there was no past or future, only the present and the overwhelming need for one another. As they tumbled over the edge together, their bodies shuddering in ecstasy, they were lost in each other.
And when it was over, Durge collapsed on top of Gortash, panting and covered in a mixture of sweat and blood. For a moment, they lay there, their bodies entwined and their breaths syncing, their hearts beating as one.
But as passion gave way to exhaustion, reality began to creep back in.
Durge couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. This wasn't how things were supposed to go.
"Enver," they whispered, running their fingers through his sweat-drenched hair. "What are we doing?"
Gortash didn't answer immediately, instead choosing to pepper kisses along Durge's collarbone. But when he finally did look up at them, there was a glint of something in his eyes – something that made Durge's heart clench with longing.
"We're living in this moment," Gortash said softly. "And isn't that all that matters?"
Durge pulled away from Gortash, sighing heavily as they struggled to regain control of their thoughts. They pulled the remnants of their clothing back on.
"I can't do this anymore," they said finally, tears threatening to spill from their eyes. Durge realized that they had been searching for an explanation, a reason to justify their feelings. But the truth was that they loved Gortash, whether they wanted to admit it or not, but that love would only bring destruction.
Gortash reached out for them, but Durge stepped back out of reach. "Please," he pleaded. Durge wanted to believe in this connection, to bury themselves in this feeling and ignore everything else – but deep down, they knew it couldn't last forever.
 "No, I can't keep going back and forth between hating you and wanting you," Durge shook their head, their voice barely audible. "I need to find my own path, away from all of this darkness. I can't let you pull me back in." Gortash's expression hardened, a hint of betrayal hiding behind his eyes. "I am not going to follow through with the plan," Durge whispered. "I will destroy the Netherbrain and protect Baldur's Gate."
Shadows fell across Gortash's face, his voice soft and emotionless. "Very well."
Before they could respond, there was a loud knock at the door followed by a Banites booming voice. "Gortash!" They shouted. "You are needed at the foundry!"
Gortash let out a heavy sigh before getting up from the bed and quickly throwing on some clothes.
For a moment, they looked at one another, the air now heavy with unspoken words and unresolved feelings.
As Durge retreated from Gortash's grasp, they couldn't help but feel a pang of regret for what they had just done. But they also knew that they couldn't go back to the way things were, not without endangering their own sanity.
As they made their way back to their own camp, Durge took a moment to bathe and wash away the remnants of their love. They knew that they would always carry a piece of Gortash with them, but they also knew that they needed to move forward and forge their own path.
I won’t be able to play the game until august 8, so here’s a list of things I’d like to see and theories that I believe will be proven right at the full launch of Baldur’s Gate III.
warning: contains spoiler based on last panel from hell of July 7 and datamining + bunch of misspellings
Think it’s pretty obvious but the three chosen of the Absolute are in one way or another connected to the Dead Three: Ketheric Thorm - Myrkul, Enver Gortash - Bane, Orin the Red - Bhaal
(might be wrong but) Larian did confirm some time ago - the Mindflayers won’t be the Big Bad. To my mind undoubtedly the Dead Three will play a significant role, but I also think that Shar, Vlaakith and someone from Avernus will be involved (Zariel maybe?)
To add the last, somehow Astarion’s scar, Mizora, Rafael and Karlach are tied together
Withers’ question and our answer is some foreshadowing and is gonna bite us on the neck later on
Withers is Jergal
Seluna might be the reason why his helping us
Daisy is not what we think they are, not just personification of the parasite
* I’m not sure how much of seduction narrative has been left, but I think it would be fun to see Daisy to take a form of our LI or vise verse at some point
Raphael’s interest in the brainworms is due to netheres magic
Lorroakan, the wizard of Ramazith's tower, is Edwin Odesseiron
There’s something very dark about Gale, not in the way “don’t trust the wizards”, but in way we’ll learn that he way more sinister than he makes himself seem. But I doubt that he’ll betray (if we play our cards right) though. Let me make him my bff
To add to that, when we first meet him, he says that he’s in need of a archemage, later we learn that he also need to consume the weave… can he consume it from the living creatures?
Gale’s relationship with Halaster Blackcloak. WHY THE FUCK DID HE LEFT TARA IN HIS CARE?!
And the heartbreaking ending Crystal was talking about? That’s Gale’s one. Mark my words
Shadowheart is not her real name, duh, hope we get to know the real one
I don’t think Shadowheart is brainwashed cleric of Selune, most likely she chose freely to join the Night Church due to loss at young age, previously worshiping Selune
Her strange magic is Selune-ish, I think
Would really like to see Viconia in the Shadowheart’s hideout in the city
The Temple of Shar, Ketheric and those Shar worshipers will be key in making Shadowheart rethink her devotion (and our previous decision ofc)
Astarion was a nasty person before he become a vampire spawn, pretty sure that his abuse of his position is what got him in Cazador’s grip
There’s got to be one ending where he turns Tav into his own vampire spawn
Not sure how much the changes in Wyll character will affect this, but… even though it’s seems that Mizora is no longer captured by goblins, I hope there some specific interactions with her if we follow Wyll romance
Wyll is part of the Eltan family
WHATS WITH HIS EYE BEING A QUEST OBJECT??
Really wish we’ll learn about companies families: I want to meet Wyll’s father, to learn about Gale’s parents, to help Shadowheart remember her family, to learn about Astarion’s past, to know their last names and etc. Let me know theirs ages, Larian!
Also, Larian, my dear, give Wyll and Gale their unique armor
The artifact will cure us
I really wish there’s some reference to Honor Among Thieves, as they both take place around late 15th century
If Zevlor is Absolute’s servant, I really hope there’ll be a horrible way to make him pay
Auntie Ethel loot is cursed
I don't know what I was expecting for Mizora's second entrance into camp, but it sure as hells wasn't this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Sorores surge. Testis esto pacti mei!"
Unlike the Latin-esque writing in Ketheric's journals back in the shadowlands, this actually is Latin, and means, "Arise, sisters. Be a witness of my covenant!"
And sure enough:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Come, sisters! Be my testament! Notum sit in Baator!"
Tumblr media
"Notum sit in Baator!" the new arrivals echo in tandem.
(This bit means "Be known in Baator!" - Baator being a term for the Nine Hells as a collective unit.)
Tumblr media
"Holy hells," Wyll mutters.
Tumblr media
Hector, who was expecting a bit more of a one-on-one practical conversation when Mizora said she wanted to talk, is a little thrown by this flamboyant arrival and the presence of several scantily clad devil women flanking him on either side. "Just... what are you up to?" he asks, shifting awkwardly.
Tumblr media
"I come to bargain," Mizora says briskly. "The Hells demand witness."
Tumblr media
"Enough, Mizora," Wyll snaps. "Where is my father? How do I save him?"
Tumblr media
"How else?" Mizora answers. "We bargain. Sisters--"
The devils surrounding them begin to chant a soft repetitive phrase. "Infernus contractus te vocamus. Infernus contractus te vocamus. Infernus contractus te vocamus..."
(Google Translate renders this as "We call you the contracted hell," which doesn't make a ton of sense, but I'm guessing it's supposed to be something closer to, "We call you to a contract of the Hells," or possibly, "We call you, infernal contract.")
At Mizora's side, an enormous sheet of paper suddenly shimmers into existence, infused with letters of fiery, glowing ink.
Tumblr media
"Your contract, Wyll," she says, mock-pleasantly. "Signed in blood, forged in fire, bound in bone - but not unbreakable."
Tumblr media
"What are you proposing?" Hector asks warily.
"A life for a life," Mizora answers. "No contract is ended without sacrifice. The cost must be paid."
She lifts her arms and bursts of flame rise around all the devils in the circle, lifting them into the air.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Wyll Ravengard," Mizora intones, her voice resonating with power. "A choice is before you. Option one - I show you the way to your father. I guarantee him no harm except that from you and your allies. And you pledge your soul to me and the archdevil Zariel in a pact eternal. Option two - I break your pact, and you are freed from your duty. Your father dies by his enemy's hand, and Baldur's Gate loses its greatest champion."
Absolute silence settles over the camp. She turns her head, fixing her eyes, glowing with infernal fire, on Wyll.
Tumblr media
"Name your sacrifice."
Tumblr media
"Bloody Zariel!" Hector can hear Karlach roar from outside the circle of flame that surrounds them. "I won't let her take Wyll!"
Tumblr media
"Silence, Karlach!" Mizora snaps. Her eyes have not left Wyll's face.
Tumblr media
He stares back at her, his face twisting with impotent rage. "Mizora, you arsehole!"
She smiles coldly. "Choose."
Tumblr media
The most upsetting thing here, to be honest, is that Hector is given no option to let Wyll make the decision on his own. This is annoying not only from Hector's perspective but from mine, as this has been kind of a major character point for Hector - that he is a support to his friends in their hours of greatest choice, but that he does not take their agency from them.
Also, neither he nor I has any idea what to say here. This is a brutal decision to have to make, or to have to advise someone on. No matter what he says, Wyll will be miserable. No matter what he advises, Wyll very well might hate him for it.
But as he thinks it through... only one answer really crystallizes for him - and it is a somewhat selfish thought process, though selfish on Wyll's behalf as much as on his own.
He knows Wyll. He does not know Ravengard.
Wyll stands against the Absolute. Ravengard, as long as he has the parasite in his head, stands for it.
A man can live without a father. He himself grew up without one, thriving in the company of people not of his blood who nevertheless cared about him. But a man cannot live meaningfully with his soul stolen.
Ravengard, in surviving, would get a few decades more of life. Wyll, in surrendering, would suffer an eternity in Mizora's grasp.
Mizora makes clear that even if he does not agree, Wyll will keep his powers long enough to kill the Absolute and end this madness.
And Hector has seen Wyll in the few weeks since they broke the pact at Moonrise. He has seen a weight lifted from the younger man's shoulders - a hope for the future that was not there before. Hector cannot, in good conscience, take that away from him.
And Karlach, watching from beyond the flames, would say the same, in his place, and that is the final certainty.
"Break the pact, Wyll," he mutters. "You deserve your freedom."
Tumblr media
Wyll closes his eyes and swallows tightly. "You damned wretch," he mutters, and it isn't clear if the epithet is directed at Hector, Mizora, or himself. "Father..." The word slips from him in a grief-stricken whisper.
Then his eyes open and he speaks rapidly, as if to make the decision before he can second-guess it. "Do it. Break the pact."
Mizora tips her head to one side, and then smirks slowly. "Fiat ita..." she says.
("Let it be so.")
The devils around them take up the chant. "Fiat ita. Anima ad Baator."
(This means, "Let it be so. Soul to Baator," which doesn't make a ton of sense in context and feels like maybe they didn't expect me to translate it. XD )
Tumblr media
The glowing parchment at Mizora's side bursts into flame, crumbles to ash. The devils disappear back to the plane they came from. The ring of fire fades, and Mizora settles back to the ground.
She looks Wyll over with a thoughtful smirk.
Tumblr media
"Didn't think you had it in you. Seems my boy's all grown up." She laughs brightly. "And don't go fussing about your father. You made your choice. You knew the terms."
She tips her head to one side; her eyes move from Wyll to Hector to Karlach and the others standing behind them. "You know what... I think I'll stick around." She snorts. "Not for the greater good, you understand. Just for the entertainment."
....And sure enough, she's just chilling next to Wyll's tent when we come out of the cutscene.
Tumblr media
ketheric thorm has the gravitas of a guy who needs a set routine for jacking off and followed it every day for decades. once in the morning once in the evening, no skips unless it's for sex, no matter what he needs that clarity of mind, and now he can't do that because he's kurapika drowning in an indescribable emptiness to the point where the manic intensity cultivated by a century of nofap has crystalized into the man he is today
John Bence — Archangels (Thrill Jockey)
Tumblr media
Photo by Amelia Gilmartin
Archangels by John Bence
Rarely does an album’s title say so little and yet explain so much about its contents. Certainly, Archangel affords a glimpse into composer John Bence’s MO, but the assumptions enfolded in that three-syllable moniker do not prepare for the initially polarized but deeply integral sound worlds ready to embrace, disquiet and ultimately engulf the unsuspecting.
Bence is a composer. If the album demonstrates anything, it is that the word describes him more than would any of its attendant modifiers. Even to suggest that his work is orchestral, choral or chamber music is to deny its scope, spectrality and power. The solo pieces on offer here defy their supposed boundaries, spatially as regards soundstage and in terms of temperament. Voices behave similarly; a solo vocal contribution, as with the higher-register contribution to “Gabriel, Archangel of Yesod,” seems outsized, inhabiting a space larger than itself, an effect amplified as the second and lower voice enters in ineffable harmony. Instrumental forces are martialed in commensurate fashion, quite literally in the military cadences of “Kamael, Archangel of Geburah.” The drum is somehow both disembodied but transfigured, more than present while floating above the already ethereal orchestration.
I’ve rendered all of this as disparate, elements inhabiting their own spaces. Far from it, Bence’s music harnesses a power of unity very rare among those employing such an ambitious sonic ensemble. Yes, some of that power resides in juxtaposition, as when “Metatron, Archangel of Kether”’s suffocating climax of distortion and hammer-blow repetition dissipates with a sort of sudden ferocity, leaving only the quasi-comfort of an anonymous scene of street or park floating atop a sea of reverb. The nightmare and its postlude comprise two sides of that proverbial coin, the light and dark antipodes forming the continuum along which Bence’s work travels. Beyond any seeming disintegration attributable to timbral forces or inter-track pauses, the album is a singular statement with an emotional purpose to match.
A recent reading of William P. Blatty’s Legion, with its representations and ruminations on the nature of angels, places this aspect of Bence’s suite of miniatures in stark relief. These are beings of extraordinary power which, though disembodied, is somehow irrevocably bound up with the multiplicity of human experience. As the last three pieces unfold, containing sonic elements from preceding events, that unity of purpose becomes crystal clear. The impact of a single sustained tone or multi-colored chord can be devastating, even at low volume, but the whole illumines, radiating beauty as much as casting shadow, the perfect embodiment of beings transcending the clumsy verbiage of polarity.
I had a dream where I was in a white room, with a desk and a chair. Studying a thick book of crystals. There were many kinds, with many shapes, and the last one I remembered was of Kether, which a diagram of a literal crown was showed. A crown fit for a queen. On the top of the crown was of an interesting shape, a horizontal rectangle with a small square on top. It was a pale wash of yellow blue. Below it was a big red jewel. I remembered Kether from GD, so I studied it closely but then I woke up.
Keter (Hebrew: כֶּתֶר‎ (helpinfo), Keṯer, lit. "crown") also known as Kether, is the topmost of the sephirot of the Tree of Life in Kabbalah.
Tumblr media
The first Sephirah is called the Crown, since a crown is worn above the head. The Crown therefore refers to things that are above the mind's abilities of comprehension. All of the other Sephirot are likened to the body which starts with the head and winds its way down into action. But the crown of a king lies above the head and connects the concept of "monarchy", which is abstract and intangible, with the tangible and concrete head of the king.
This first Sefirah represents the primal stirrings of intent in the Ein Soph (infinity), or the arousal of desire to come forth into the varied life of being.[2] But in this sense, although it contains all the potential for content, it contains no content itself, and is therefore called 'Nothing', 'The Hidden Light', 'The air that cannot be grasped'. Being desire to bring the world into being, Keter is absolute compassion.[3]
Ethical behaviour
Moses ben Jacob Cordovero, in The Palm Tree of Devorah, discusses ethical behaviour that man should follow, related to the qualities of the Sephirot, in order that man might emulate his Creator. Humility is the first, because although Keter is the highest, it is ashamed to look at its cause, and instead gazes at those below it.[5] One's thoughts should be pure, one's forehead should display no harshness, one's ears should always turn to hear good, one's eyes should distance themselves from noticing evil, always looking at the good, one's nose should be free from the breath of anger, one's face should always shine, and his mouth should express nothing except good. As pure formless consciousness, it is often compared with the Sahasrara chakra, which resides above the crown of the head, in Indian Shakta Tantra
Planet: Uranus and Pluto
Stones: Quartz crystal, aventurine, agate
Herbs/Plants: Ginseng, birch tree, lotus flower
Animals (bugs): Phoenix, butterfly,
Moon Phase: New Moon
Hebrew Letter: Aleph א
Kabbalistic Path: connects Kether ‘the crown’ with Chokmah or wisdom which is the first activity to the manifestation. The path is known as ‘Aleph’ and the meaning of Aleph is ‘ox’.
The Fool is the card of New Beginnings. That moment when you're about to take that first step into a new adventure. This card has a childlike innocence to it, excitement and anticipation with such positivity that fear has no place.
I recently attended my eldest son's graduation. As I listened to the speeches given by his classmates, I was struck by how truly naive and fresh these young men and women were. Each of the orators expressed excitement and unabashed hope for their future. They had the basic outline for what they thought they might desire their future to be, but the path was still forming. This is what I feel is a lovely embodiment of "The Fool" in tarot. Embarking upon a new adventure, new beginning, and everything that comes along with that, with hope and enthusiasm for where the new path will take you.
To embody the energy of the Fool, tap into your Wonder and Belief in Possibility. The Fool helps us to dispel fear and negative thinking as we embark upon a new Path or Journey.
Liber AL vel Legis sub figura CCXX, Cap. 1
The Book of the Law Liber AL vel Legis sub figura CCXX
as delivered by XCIII = 418 to DCLXVI
I
1. Had! The manifestation of Nuit.
2. The unveiling of the company of heaven.
3. Every man and every woman is a star.
4. Every number is infinite; there is no difference.
5. Help me, o warrior lord of Thebes, in my unveiling before the Children of men!
6. Be thou Hadit, my secret centre, my heart & my tongue!
7. Behold! it is revealed by Aiwass the minister of Hoor-paar-kraat.
8. The Khabs is in the Khu, not the Khu in the Khabs.
9. Worship then the Khabs, and behold my light shed over you!
10. Let my servants be few & secret: they shall rule the many & the known.
11. These are fools that men adore; both their Gods & their men are fools.
12. Come forth, o children, under the stars, & take your fill of love!
13. I am above you and in you. My ecstasy is in yours. My joy is to see your joy.
14. Above, the gemmed azure is
The naked splendour of Nuit;
She bends in ecstasy to kiss
The secret ardours of Hadit.
The winged globe, the starry blue,
Are mine, O Ankh-af-na-khonsu!
15. Now ye shall know that the chosen priest & apostle of infinite space is the prince-priest the Beast; and in his woman called the Scarlet Woman is all power given. They shall gather my children into their fold: they shall bring the glory of the stars into the hearts of men.
16. For he is ever a sun, and she a moon. But to him is the winged secret flame, and to her the stooping starlight.
17. But ye are not so chosen.
18. Burn upon their brows, o splendrous serpent!
19. O azure-lidded woman, bend upon them!
20. The key of the rituals is in the secret word which I have given unto him.
21. With the God & the Adorer I am nothing: they do not see me. They are as upon the earth; I am Heaven, and there is no other God than me, and my lord Hadit.
22. Now, therefore, I am known to ye by my name Nuit, and to him by a secret name which I will give him when at last he knoweth me. Since I am Infinite Space, and the Infinite Stars thereof, do ye also thus. Bind nothing! Let there be no difference made among you between any one thing & any other thing; for thereby there cometh hurt.
23. But whoso availeth in this, let him be the chief of all!
24. I am Nuit, and my word is six and fifty.
25. Divide, add, multiply, and understand.
26. Then saith the prophet and slave of the beauteous one: Who am I, and what shall be the sign? So she answered him, bendingdown, a lambent flame of blue, all-touching, all penetrant, her lovely hands upon the black earth, & her lithe body arched for love, and her soft feet not hurting the little flowers: Thou knowest! And the sign shall be my ecstasy, the consciousness of the continuity of existence, the omnipresence of my body.
27. Then the priest answered & said unto the Queen of Space, kissing her lovely brows, and the dew of her light bathing his whole body in a sweet-smelling perfume of sweat: O Nuit, continuous one of Heaven, let it be ever thus; that men speak not of Thee as One but as None; and let them speak not of thee at all, since thou art continuous!
28. None, breathed the light, faint & faery, of the stars, and two.
29. For I am divided for love's sake, for the chance of union.
30. This is the creation of the world, that the pain of division is as nothing, and the joy of dissolution all.
31. For these fools of men and their woes care not thou at all! They feel little; what is, is balanced by weak joys; but ye are my chosen ones.
32. Obey my prophet! follow out the ordeals of my knowledge! seek me only! Then the joys of my love will redeem ye from all pain. This is so: I swear it by the vault of my body; by my sacred heart and tongue; by all I can give, by all I desire of ye all.
33. Then the priest fell into a deep trance or swoon, & said unto the Queen of Heaven; Write unto us the ordeals; write unto us the rituals; write unto us the law!
34. But she said: the ordeals I write not: the rituals shall be half known and half concealed: the Law is for all.
35. This that thou writest is the threefold book of Law.
36. My scribe Ankh-af-na-khonsu, the priest of the princes, shall not in one letter change this book; but lest there be folly, he shall comment thereupon by the wisdom of Ra-Hoor-Khuit.
37. Also the mantras and spells; the obeah and the wanga; the work of the wand and the work of the sword; these he shall learn and teach.
38. He must teach; but he may make severe the ordeals.
39. The word of the Law is θέλημα.
40. Who calls us Thelemites will do no wrong, if he look but close into the word. For there are therein Three Grades, the Hermit, and the Lover, and the man of Earth. Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
41. The word of Sin is Restriction. O man! refuse not thy wife, if she will! O lover, if thou wilt, depart! There is no bond that can unite the divided but love: all else is a curse. Accursed! Accursed be it to the aeons! Hell.
42. Let it be that state of manyhood bound and loathing. So with thy all; thou hast no right but to do thy will.
43. Do that, and no other shall say nay.
44. For pure will, unassuaged of purpose, delivered from the lust of result, is every way perfect.
45. The Perfect and the Perfect are one Perfect and not two; nay, are none!
46. Nothing is a secret key of this law. Sixty-one the Jews call it; I call it eight, eighty, four hundred & eighteen.
47. But they have the half: unite by thine art so that all disappear.
48. My prophet is a fool with his one, one, one; are not they the Ox, and none by the Book?
49. Abrogate are all rituals, all ordeals, all words and signs. Ra-Hoor-Khuit hath taken his seat in the East at the Equinox of the Gods; and let Asar be with Isa, who also are one. But they are not of me. Let Asar be the adorant, Isa the sufferer; Hoor in his secret name and splendour is the Lord initiating.
50. There is a word to say about the Hierophantic task. Behold! there are three ordeals in one, and it may be given in three ways. The gross must pass through fire; let the fine be tried in intellect, and the lofty chosen ones in the highest. Thus ye have star & star, system & system; let not one know well the other!
51. There are four gates to one palace; the floor of that palace is of silver and gold; lapis lazuli & jasper are there; and all rare scents; jasmine & rose, and the emblems of death. Let him enter in turn or at once the four gates; let him stand on the floor of the palace. Will he not sink? Amn. Ho! warrior, if thy servant sink? But there are means and means. Be goodly therefore: dress ye all in fine apparel; eat rich foods and drink sweet wines and wines that foam! Also, take your fill and will of love as ye will, when, where and with whom ye will! But always unto me.
52. If this be not aright; if ye confound the space-marks, saying: They are one; or saying, They are many; if the ritual be not ever unto me: then expect the direful judgments of Ra Hoor Khuit!
53. This shall regenerate the world, the little world my sister, my heart & my tongue, unto whom I send this kiss. Also, o scribe and prophet, though thou be of the princes, it shall not assuage thee nor absolve thee. But ecstasy be thine and joy of earth: ever To me! To me!
54. Change not as much as the style of a letter; for behold! thou, o prophet, shalt not behold all these mysteries hidden therein.
55. The child of thy bowels, he shall behold them.
56. Expect him not from the East, nor from the West; for from no expected house cometh that child. Aum! All words are sacred and all prophets true; save only that they understand a little; solve the first half of the equation, leave the second unattacked. But thou hast all in the clear light, and some, though not all, in the dark.
57. Invoke me under my stars! Love is the law, love under will. Nor let the fools mistake love; for there are love and love. There is the dove, and there is the serpent. Choose ye well! He, my prophet, hath chosen, knowing the law of the fortress, and the great mystery of the House of God.
All these old letters of my Book are aright; but צ is not the Star. This also is secret: my prophet shall reveal it to the wise.
58. I give unimaginable joys on earth: certainty, not faith, while in life, upon death; peace unutterable, rest, ecstasy; nor do I demand aught in sacrifice.
59. My incense is of resinous woods & gums; and there is no blood therein: because of my hair the trees of Eternity.
60. My number is 11, as all their numbers who are of us. The Five Pointed Star, with a Circle in the Middle, & the circle is Red. My colour is black to the blind, but the blue & gold are seen of the seeing. Also I have a secret glory for them that love me.
61. But to love me is better than all things: if under the night stars in the desert thou presently burnest mine incense before me, invoking me with a pure heart, and the Serpent flame therein, thou shalt come a little to lie in my bosom. For one kiss wilt thou then be willing to give all; but whoso gives one particle of dust shall lose all in that hour. Ye shall gather goods and store of women and spices; ye shall wear rich jewels; ye shall exceed the nations of the earth in spendour & pride; but always in the love of me, and so shall ye come to my joy. I charge you earnestly to come before me in a single robe, and covered with a rich headdress. I love you! I yearn to you! Pale or purple, veiled or voluptuous, I who am all pleasure and purple, and drunkenness of the innermost sense, desire you. Put on the wings, and arouse the coiled splendour within you: come unto me!
62. At all my meetings with you shall the priestess say -- and her eyes shall burn with desire as she stands bare and rejoicing in my secret temple -- To me! To me! calling forth the flame of the hearts of all in her love-chant.
63. Sing the rapturous love-song unto me! Burn to me perfumes! Wear to me jewels! Drink to me, for I love you! I love you!
64. I am the blue-lidded daughter of Sunset; I am the naked brilliance of the voluptuous night-sky.
65. To me! To me!
66. The Manifestation of Nuit is at an end.
Love is the law, love under will.
15.11 and moving forward
Some of you may have seen my Putrefied in Purgatory video surrounding 15.09. Putrefaction is the reduction of a material to its barest state for a new foundation, rotting away to the alchemical Blackened state to rebuild on new stages of whitening (which seemed to crest in 15.10 for Dean), then yellowing and reddening en route, though for completion there's other stages ahead of us (as per what I lended towards in Philosopher's Gold, also 15.09 video.)
But I think what I need to do is discuss the tree.
SO MOVING FORWARD, WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON IN ALCHEMY AND QABBALAH SPN LAND. GLAD YOU ASKED, NOBODY.
I *AM* gonna need you to bear with me right now, because I’m about to data-dump out a bunch of information and then go back over and explain how this is connecting to what Andrew Fucking Dabb and company are doing actively, episode by episode. If you don’t get it on first read, that’s fine, once I start putting it in terms and concepts and show stuff you get, scroll back and re-digest in frame.
Okay so, let’s drop some points. You may have remembered me making early videos of Belphegor as the ruler of Thagirion after 15.01 (x) and later, one called Worthy of Love for Tiphareth (x), but not before he who blocks and hampers the heart guides walked them through flames they were not yet ready to access (x), causing an unlevel involution between the Three Principles with Castiel reaching a reddening while Dean sat in darkness and Sam struggled to maintain his own light.
 This is going to become very important to my babbling, but the concept is that there is a nega/void/blockage version of the tree that has “evil” versions of each node. Tiphareth’s shadow is Thagirion. Tiphareth is the essence of love, true and genuine. It dominates the heart chakra, and its disputer, Belphegor, the blocker, is he who does not believe in love and observes marriages for dissent and further aggitates the blockage in the path. Sound familiar?
This Sephira is in some respects the most important of all. It is the centre of the whole system; it is the only Sephira below the Abyss which communicates directly with Kether. (Think crown/godhead/source -- white node #1) It is fed directly from Chokmah and Binah; also from Chesed and Geburah. (I’ll... get into these another time, they’re a higher segment) It is thus admirably fitted to dominate the lower Sephiroth; it is balanced both vertically and horizontally. In the planetary system it represents the Sun; in the system of Tetragrammaton it represents the Son. In other words, the Son is an interpretation of the Father in terms of the Mind. [Tiphareth is] thus representative of [the four] elements at their practical best.  (Book of Thoth, p.181)
You don’t say. (vaguely screams into fist about who and what the Mind is and who and what the Father in this Aeon is)
Dean and Cas’ blowout over Jack, “you’re dead to me”, was over Cas knowing something was wrong with Jack, and not telling them, and Dean’s anger leading to distrust.
That was putrefied in purgatory, everything laid bare. And while they haven’t had their heart to heart yet (that big good omens energy shot is probably from 12, a bobocuda episode like The Future was), here–
Cas already had his gasping, shocked, clutched reunion with the son. Sam came home and gave a squeeze too.
But Dean walked up, put a hand behind his son’s neck, stared deeply into his eyes to see if it was him. And, as if doubting himself, looked to his somber husband, who silently communicated and affirmed it, and Dean knew, and trusted, and believed, and their son was home.
Someone launch me to jupiter please
oh wait neverfuckingmind, Dabb and co are working on that shortly.
Tumblr media
Tiphareth, the heart, is the central vein, the power between godhood and the terrestrial earth as manifest in Malkuth.
I had pointed out the choice taste in Dean emerging from black in a white suit to look into yellow light and past red drapes in 15.10 and that Dean seemed to be approaching his whitening, but that’s even truer now.
The phases I speak of bear relevance to these.
Just--humor me and see earth as the blackened base from the human perspective, even if the blackened base of the Shadow of Man lies beneath the Ain Soph (which I’ll show some inverted trees for later). I’ve spoken of lunar light in regards to the whitening before, and it even rose in my Reflection video about crucifying the ego before it was too late (x) (please mind the video was made a year ago now based on hermetic pattern spec)  “The moon gives me her secret, a confidant; as full and bright as I am, this light is not my own and a million light reflections pass over me.”
(aside re: crucifying the ego, it’s about removing the blackened snake of our unrefined parts of the self, similar to putrefaction, so a step we just crossed)
In alchemy, albedo is one of the four major stages of the magnum opus, along with nigredo, citrinitas/xanthosis and rubedo. It is a Latinicized term meaning "whiteness". Following the chaos or massa confusa of the nigredo stage, the alchemist undertakes a purification or rectification in albedo, which is literally referred to as ablutio or absolution – the washing away of impurities. This phase is concerned with "bringing light and clarity to the prima materia (personal material)". But the transmutational state is ... well.
“The whitening phase is ruled by the moon and as such is reflective, in that it does not have its own light. The maturation of the whitening happens via reflection and is often described as mirroring. The reflective processes, of thinking and feeling, dominate the direct experiences of intuition, sensation and imagination. Knowledge is King, and Mystery is banished by the whitening ego's searchlight. Perfection is idealised, and imperfection seen as weakness. Immediate gratification is expected. Nothing is allowed to mature. Lacking true wisdom, we are children in adult's bodies. Our leaders lack the vision to see the real problems, and the guts to really change things.
“The first main goal of the process... highly prized by many alchemists... is the silver or moon condition, which still has to be raised to the sun condition. The albedo [whitening], is so to speak, the daybreak, but not till the rubedo [reddening] is it sunrise. The transition to the rubedo is formed by the citrinitas [yellowing], though this, as we said, was omitted later.” (x)
Now let’s take a look at how that applies to Yesod in the middle pillar, above Malkuth, both of which gain power from light *elsewhere* -- that is, Tiphareth.
Of Yesod:
“After the double excursion into misfortune, (Hod and Netzach) the current returns to the middle pillar. This Sephira is the seat of the great crystallization of Energy. But it takes place very far down the Tree, at the apex of the third descending triangle, and a flat triangle at that. There is little help from low, unbalanced spheres like Netzach and Hod. What saves Yesod is the direct ray from Tiphareth; this Sephira is in the direct line of succession. (Book of Thoth) “
Yesod is that subtle basis upon which the physical world is based....It is the Astral Plane, which in one sense being passive and reflecting energies from above is lunar, even as the moon reflects the light of the sun. The Astral Light is an omnipresent and all-permeating fluid or medium of extremely subtle matter; substance in a highly tenuous state, electric and magnetic in constitution, which is the model upon which the physical world is built. It is the endless, changeless, ebb and flow of the world's forces that, in the last resort, guarantee the stability of the world and provides its foundation. [...]  The general conception of Yesod is of change with stability. (Regardie, 1994)
So let’s take a quick aside on that double journey into instability in Hod and netzach, and I’ll leave everyone to think of how this correlates now.
The position of Netzach is doubly unbalanced; off the middle pillar, and very low down on the Tree. It is taking a very great risk to descend so far into illusion, and, above all, to do it by frantic struggle. Netzach pertains to Venus...and the greatest catastrophe that can befall Venus is to lose her Heavenly origin. (Book of Thoth, p.182)
The sphere of Hod represents on a very much lower plane similar qualities to those obtaining in Chokmah. It is the lower plane, first primitive version of union and sharing between the divine masculine and feminine (SPN video recs [x], [x] ) as mirrored to Netzach’s above details.
So we’ve got... lesser unions *scrolls over 15.9* cast down Mark wedding, check, from a blackened putrified base of Malkuth not yet even fully acquiring its own awareness of reflected light in Yesod or Albedo. 15.10 Dean does seem to start gaining some sense of light and dream, if reflected off of imaginings of others while coming out from behind the curtain *checks* but it’s not fully manifest yet. Now the heroes struggle through descending into illusion and frantic struggle, questioning all they know in existence, or their “luck”. *checks*
Now, Fortuna tells our heroes a good deal of what we knew they needed to hear. In the end it really isn’t about their luck. Heroes aren’t extinct, but it’s not about playing god’s game, it’s about playing their own. The divine feminine told them the secrets of the gods and, in a way, it is the steps towards mastering their human sovereignty.
Notice the lunar card path lending towards the lunar Yesod node, for example, even using arcana -- given this is Grey’s system, there’s a few others.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Uh, ignore the given card/highlighted path for now, that’s there for reasons you may recognize that I’ll bang on about elsewhere.(Aeon, for the record, is basically the same as Judgement and World=Universe, and Lust=Strength different naming system -- you’ll notice the second names on the first chart apply here, though in a matter of descending vs ascending. A few are different; and I’m not gonna pledge up and down which version Dabb is using, so I’m more going to take the raw idea that works across multiple models)
In the interim -- and defaulting back to Tiphareth after following the path of the Sun through Art, towards the philosopher’s stone of unabridged love, marriage, the sun and the son, the moon reflects the light of the sun, the Rising Sun, albeit not yet back to its proper reddening -- the yellow familial light I’ve banged on about in this show, even beyond our romantic pairings. The sun had been lost and the family and the three principles fell into chaos, needing to rebuild. And yet, as Castiel brings home Jack, we see the growth even in these few episodes:
With pain and distrust betrayed in purgatory, over having failed to communicate issues with Jack, once everything was laid bare and rotten to base to rebuild in Purgatory, Dean looked to Castiel after doubting himself staring into Jack’s eyes to know if their son was truly home, and by a look, he knew, and accepted, and as weighty as it was, that family was complete.
Back to Tiphareth as the four elements in harmony, we have our future playing field here.
I will tap back to Hod reflecting Chokmah though, at a lesser value, by citing some points of Chokmah: “male creative energy, wisdom and the expression of a single idea in terms of duality. It transmits the idea of the divine unity to its feminine counterpart, the understanding, somewhat as a man transmits the essence of his character to his wife so that he perceives his inmost nature, itself unintelligible to him directly, by observing the flowering of that essence in his son. “
Cough. blossom.
Anyway,
the yellowing is upon them all now, in actual harmony, with the return of the sun by which to reflect their light in Yesod, but furthermore, to step forward.
Tumblr media
Hm. What saves Yesod is the direct ray from Tiphareth.
Their su/on. Is home. And the yellow light, if faint at first, as they come to speak, has returned, lingering between them. The yellowing itself comes from moving into a form of being where one’s own soul is less a reflected light of the grand scheme of things and one’s own personal, generated light, and that is landing upon us shortly.
To like, fully break down this path shit I’d have to go full like alchemical sermon here, but I’m more trying to map out just how artistically rendered this show is using these paths.
So where do we go now? The crown, Kether, is our goal. But we’re not ready to Priestess rocket straight that direction, as much as there’s still a strong overshadow of Kether upon them, even if the Star’s light descending leads towards hope.
But we’ve left the primitive base triangle now. Geburah and Chesed await.
Geburah:
The introduction of the number Five shows the idea of motion coming to the aid of that of matter...The result is a complete upset of the statically stabilized system. Now appear storm and stress. (The Book of Thoth, p.180)
Despite the fact that Geburah is a feminine potency, as are all Sephiros [sic] on the left-hand column of the Tree, practically all its attributions are male and vigorous...This is not confusion of thought, but a recognition of the necessity for equilibrium." (Regardie, 1994)
Geburah represents on a much lower plane the Sakti force-element attributed to Binah. (Regardie, 1994)
The quality of Geburah is summed up in the general idea of strength and power and force. Its card based attributions are strife, disappointment, defeat, and worry. That which the heart must overcome with strength.
Chesed:
Lots of crazy mystic math involved but summarily Righteousness, Mercy, and Love, combining seemingly diverse ideas.
 "below the Abyss"; therefore, in practice, it means solidification, materialization. Things have become manifest. The essential point is that it expresses the Rule of Law...The manifestation promised by Binah has now taken place. Chesed...is the highest idea which can be understood in an intellectual way. (The Book of Thoth).
These are given to travel to Chokmah (which I’ve noted already) and Binah “For she is omniform as Love and as Death, the Great Sea whence all Life springs, and whose black womb reabsorbs all. She thus resumes in herself the duplex process of the Formula of Love under Will" (Little Esssays Towards Truth, "Love") - planetary association Saturn, so you may.. *gestures back at other videos* (x)
Like... Rowena’s Reverse Womb Symbolism Dot Jaypeg, “Death is an infinite vessel.” (reminder drop x)
Tumblr media
“In short, Binah is the substantive vehicle of every possible phenomenon, physical or mental” (Regardie, 1994)
opposite chokmah, as above mentioned in the masculine presence of the union to meet the godhead.
These lovers must still walk different paths for a time, but will meet across the void of hidden knowledge before standing at the crown, if only after facing their strife and personal strength, taking the understanding of the moon and fortuna, to not play another’s game, to blossom into holding one’s own light along with completion in the family unit, and to find wisdom in the hidden things between them, by which the aged hermit, the hierophant, he who held the unofficiated wedding’s gold, the incomplete, lesser manifestation at Hod, and formerly cast it down -- as his foundation to approach the crown.
At more immediate, Netzach is also led forward by Fortune or Fortuna towards Chesed. The Hermit, a role Sam has heavily embodied on his Hierophant path, crosses from Tiphareth. As the one that impressed Fortuna, Sam is likely the one to hold the torch of her words right now, and figure out how to make Chuck play their game. Whereas Hod travels the road of the Hanged Man, each to find their strength sourced upward from Tiphareth, the heart, the sun, the son, the marriage, the family light, the yellowing, with adjustment through Tiphareth removing some of the pillar of severity and the hanged man road ahead of the struggling, still separated union.
Death descends from Binah to Geburah, enacting her volatile change and meeting the path of the hanged man, empowered by heart and adjustment; the hierophant will meet and become the hermit at Chesed. The path of the united lovers is an inevitability in any system rising from the heart towards the path of the hanged man in affiliation with the divine feminine, death's forces included; and the hierophant enacts the emperor on way to the divine masculine. The Emperor and Empress' marriage will end up being the fundament by which to face that final triangle of upper creation.
For those of you who remember me banging on about Art/Temperance versus Lovers arcana all goddamn hiatus, enjoy seeing them spawn out of Tiphareth there.
Tumblr media
Here the red eagle and white lion commune and share in their parts, for the restoration of the golden orphic (x) child and great work under the hands of the Hierophant against the pillars of overseeing divine fem/masc (here represented in Adam and Lilith, other versions Adam and Eve)
Just... honestly just read this (x) if you want to know more about how each of these elementson those cards correspond to the above paths.
So I guess this is a really long magical way of shipper Sam is gonna have to get these two knuckleheads cosmically married and complete before standing as the godman and subverting the allfather with the rebirth of the heart and their su/on. And hopefully not have Eileen recreate the Rowena thing on the way. Or Cas for that matter.
The complete deconstruction of the lovers in purgatory was necessary, having been in the cursed and evil, inverted tree and blocked at Tiphareth. Now we can build forward in light and knowledge and the sovereign journey of man, even if it has its pitfalls and misfortunes. The Empress’ marriage to the Emperor makes foundation for the Fool (which isn’t what it sounds like) and the Magician’s completed work, finalizing the top triangle of unity to complete their magnum opus against god. Man created the gods, and are to soon prove themselves the equal of him.
And that’s my rambling because I suck at teaching this shit.
*nervous chuckling for potential ways for Castiel’s deal to work out right now*
Night Of Gods Worldbuilding: Cirines
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cirines
Cirines are human like creatures that live in hescadotean forests, predominantly in the south of the kingdom.
Cirines were the first creatures to ever habit Hescad. They used to live freely in the kingdom until the first human tribe, later named natives, arrived and fought against cirines, taking the land from them.
Everything the cirines built was taken down and human buildings were built on top. Cirines, with only small pieces of land to live in, decided to mainly live in their original dimension again, shifting from time to time to human dimension.
Politics
The Cirines are governed by a Queen, that used to reign Hescad when the cirines were in control.
They highly respect their Queen and have a lot of festivals around celebrating her and all the previous monarchs with great love.
Nobles are not really a thing in the cirine’s world. The only prestige one can get is through devotion, hard work and bravery, by getting the acknowledgement of the Queen. The cirines who have the Queen’s trust are usually prestiged in the world and would be given important positions in the military if they ever went to war with another species.
Lifestyle
They live in wood cottages filled with plants. The Queen lives in an extremely majestic cave filled with crystalline lakes, amethysts, opals and multiple other crystals and precious stones. Her throne made of tree trunks and branchs and her bed is made of plants.
They don’t eat animals. Their diet is fruit and vegetable based. Their bodies can handle meat and other animal based products, but they just choose not to due to their connection with nature and the benefits that this diet has on them. Too much fruit sugar can make them aggressive, but the sugar that goes into their bloodstream helps them raise their vibrational energy, feeding their ketheric body and recharging their spiritual powers.
Abilities
Power wise, they are highly clairvoyant, claircognizant, and all other clair types there could be. They also have a high telepathy skill between themselves and have a more advanced and complex respiratory and circulatory systems than humans.
They have telepathy between them, but they don’t use it to read others’ thoughts, only to communicate with each other (basically they only read the thoughts that others’ send them). They are not able to send thoughts or information to humans or other species.
They can give powers to humans or remove them/other abilities from them, however they would need to kidnap them in order to do this.
Kidnappings, however, can only last a couple of minutes, at least to a human’s perception of time.
They also live longer than humans. Some cirines have been registered to live up to 230 years.
Physical Appearance
There are Cirines of all genders and skin colors. Their skin tends to have a silver (or dark blue in darker skin tones) shimmer all over, that is more noticeable in direct sun light or in night time as the shimmer can be lumniscient. They are tall and usually more on the slender side and their eye are all white or all black, although they can camouflage them to a normal human eye if they need to blend in with humans.
Fashion
They usually either have platinum or very black hair. They never wear their hair fully loose, always tying it in braids (all genders, including men braid it)
The most popular braids are accent braids, mohawk braids, side braids, half up mermaid braids.
Many cirines also have part or parts of their heads shaved or have dreadlocks.
They also use a lot of ear piercings as they believe it heightens their spirituality and their health, putting them in a non stressed state.
Fashion wise, cirines wear pants, leggings, doublets and tunics, some pairing them with cork leather cuirassers, ornamented by bones and chains. Because they are highly resistant to heat and to cold, they don’t feel the need to use fitting clothes to the weather.
