the lovely @breakaway71 tagged me awhile ago and i am finally doing it!

1) Julie Molina leaves LA in the middle of the night. (heaven above & closer, aka the roadtrip au, complete, co-written with @where-you-go)

Time to wake up!” (a star sweetly gleaming: christmas at silver lake, the jane/missy christmas novella in the FLSO series. if i were a romance novelist it’d probably be called the Silver Lake Series and this would be book 1.5 lol. one day i will reveal the other titles i’d love to explore in this series if i had all the time in the world, lol. yes there is a victoria book i’d love to write. you all will be getting updates on this series until i am old and gray)

8) Luke crosses over first. (leave the light on, aka the canon-compliant crossover tragedy rulie epic. complete.)

9) Rose Molina is staring at her eyebrows in the bathroom mirror when the doorbell rings. (these last perfect days, the rulie promposal story, rose’s POV. complete)

10) “Reginald, Earl Peters!” (for love’s sake only, of course, historical romance fake marriage of my heart. complete)

40% unadorned lines of dialogue as first lines lol. that....sounds about right for me.

#1, 6, 8 were “wrote this line first in a bit of a trance and things unspooled from there” lines.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but as a creator -

I am fine with "the audience" -

downloading my fics

printing my fics

copy/pasting or screenshotting my fics

sharing your saved copy of my fics with anyone else who might want them in the unlikely but never impossible case that my fics are no longer available on ao3

making a book of my fic(s) and running your fingers across the pages while lovingly whispering my precioussss

doing these things with anything I create for fandom, such as meta, headcanons, au nonsense like 'texts from the brodinsons,' etc

I am not fine with "the audience"

doing any of the above with the purpose/intent of plagiarizing my work or passing it off as their own in any capacity

feeding my work into ai for any reason whatsoever

Save the fandom things. Preserve the fandom things. Respect the fandom things.

The second he realizes Donna is upset and panicking because they were suddenly taken away from Rose and god knows where in the universe, he took her and kissed her hand and held it against his hearts as he looked into her eyes and promised to get her home. He is comforting her and grounding her. Fourteen really is able to show so much more physical affection and vulnerability. So much more of the love he has in him. He's able to be there for Donna as a friend in a way the Doctor has struggled to do all his life. (x)

Sobbing uncontrollably reading through a dissertation about the college experience of students with ADHD. It is like reading a report about my life that just says over and over "My experiences are real. My hardships are real. I am not lazy, I am not dumb. My struggles were not my fault, and they were not a moral failing. The failure was with the system, not with me."

Here's a line that got me in particular:

"Hotez et al.(2022) compared the health, academic, and non-academic capacities of a nationally representative sample of U.S. first-year college students with ADHD and without ADHD. Students with ADHD self-reported lower academic aspirations and more feelings of depression and overwhelm, ranking themselves lower in their general emotional health. The fact that students with ADHD scored in the highest 10th percentile for many non-academic traits, such as artistic ability, computer skills, creativity, public speaking, social confidence, self-understanding and understanding of others, compassion, and risk-tasking, suggests that this population has strengths that are frequently underappreciated in academia."

(the paper is a thesis called "Understanding the Collegiate Experience for Students With ADHD" by Gia Long, 2022)

it also caught me so off guard in episode 1 in particular that the crew clearly knew how much izzy was doing to protect them from ed?? no one's saying it out loud because it won't help but the hug, and the whole scene surrounding it, says they've all quietly been paying attention and worrying about him behind his back and it was a culmination of weeks and months of living like they were while knowing that izzy was bending over backwards to absorb as much of ed's rage and heartbreak and anger as possible in order to shield the rest of them??? help??

sorry for the rather somber atmosphere... it's just in any zosan lovechild AU that is not the "sora lives" universe, i see reiju still keeping a distance when zosan's child is born because she's still with the vinsmokes or any other reason. or at least in the beginning anyway, one day she might finally give a chance on being part of sanji's life again -- once she finds a way how.
