Quick key notes:
Vaelari is an open-syllable language, meaning words cannot end in a consonant
There are no vowel clusters, except for specific situations in which a tapped r is followed by certain consonants (p, k ,t, s, g, h) and those are only in the beginning of the word. "Sh" and "Ts" can also begin a word.
when a "tapped r" is referenced (via r[d]), it is an r that makes a soft d sound, and is made by lightly and quickly touching the tip of your tongue to the alveolar ridge which is just behind your top teeth.
Because modern Troll names are made from random sounds a lusus makes, there is no exact word to translate. Therefore, these 'translations' are more or less how the Vaelari may pronounce these names given the language's phonology or how they may have evolved when adapted into Vaelari.

Oh damn it has been a while since I logged on Tumblr. Uh, have a 40k art dump. Yes I have recently gotten into the 40k fandom and I know this is probably quite out of the blue. I just want to share these.
I have dubbed this Chapter the "Hephaeston Hammers"

Now, as for lore, if the fact that half of these have patterns of equipment that got lost in the Horus Heresy (the actual irl reason for these being used being that I just liked how they look), the in lore reason for this widespread usage of very old equipment in the chapter is due to them having a very good relationship with the Forge World of Hephaeston III, a world which neighbors their homeworld of Hephaeston II. The Mechanicus of Hephaeston III are borderline tech-heretics who just barely avoid being declared as such for reverse-engineering long lost tech by the skin of their teeth, and do so via the fact they managed to miraculously get the support to do so from Guilliman so long as they didn't end up making daemon engines or commit any form of blatant heresy. This has caused the chapter to be supplied quite heavily with some of said reverse-engineered and reproduced equipment.
Formally, this chapter is a Primaris founding successor chapter of the Sons of the Phoenix, but for any who are familiar with the Sons of the Phoenix's color scheme can guess why I say the Hephaeston Hammers are only formally sons of Rogal Dorn.
When I wrote the lore for the Hephaeston Hammers, I focused heavily on that one speech from Fulgrim: 'I came from nothing' he said, fixing his sons with a steady gaze. 'I scrabbled in the quarry pits, and down in the deepest mines, carrying buckets on my shoulders because the ascender blew a gasket,' he said. 'I broke my fingernails on raw ore, and grew blisters from heat and labour. You look down on them, blind to the beauty of their struggle. Blind to what they might become, if only someone would scrape the filth from their faces. He reached down and lifted a child onto his shoulders. The girl laughed and clapped, unafraid of the giant, even as her mother wept. Fulgrim indicated the crowd. His voice had driven many of them to their knees. 'Look at them, my sons. You are the highest, and they, the lowest. It is your duty to raise them up, as high as they will go. Anything less is not worthy of you.'
As such, the Hephaeston Hammers chapter is almost more like the Salamanders, as they value humanity just as much. The Hephaeston Hammers recruits are even allowed to return to their families between missions, some even participating in their communities, such as with Vareus Dumar who often serves as a preacher on their Shrine-world turned chapter-homeworld of Hephaeston II. This has led to the members of the chapter being quite, for lack of a better word, attached to the denizens of their home world. They celebrate victories alongside a sisters of battle convent stationed on the planet, they help train the planet's guardsmen, in times of holidays and celebrations they lead the festivities with the same conviction in which they face the enemies of mankind.
Will add more to this later but for now I need to get to bed. Also to those more, for lack of s better word, experienced with warhammer 40k, please have mercy on my understanding of lore, I have been in this fandom a mere several months and this franchise is literally older than I am so I may not fully grasp some stuff yet

BLEACH is back and SO. AM. I.
My Ao3 is about to get a whole lot more active!
I've been putting off some updates and new fics for far too long so I'm giving myself a timeline (and sharing it in the hopes of sticking with it!!):
By the end of this week, either 10/14 (金) or 16/10 (日), I will be updating the first TEN chapters of my first multi-chapter bleach fanfic 「瀞霊廷に帰ろ神秘的な死神!」 / 「せいれいていにかえろしんぴてきなしにがみ!」/Seireitei ni kaero, shinpiteki na shinigami!/ 'Return to Seireitei, mysterious shinigami!' (volume one). RTSMS for short, if you will.
Once the above is completed, I will be uploading my third Bleach smut* fic. This is a Abarai Renji x Kuchiki Rukia first-time fic (similar in premise to my Kurosaki Ichigo x Inoue Orihime fic titled "Otanjyoubi omedetou, Ichigo! (「お誕生日おめでとう一護!」/「お誕生日おめでとういちご!」))
*Smut means 18+ minors absolutely DNI
The Renji x Rukia piece will be the first in a new "mini-series"/collection called 'Smutty Supplementals' to cover (/uncover) some of the steamier stuff that I separated out from the main fic(s).
Spoiler alert! The events in the RenRuki piece happen directly after a flashback featured in RTSMS.
After all of this (hopefully next week!!) I will be polishing off the final eight chapters of editing for RTSMS.
The second Smutty Supplemental will feature Kuchiki Byakuya and my original character Fujimori Michiko (if anyone's interested?? 👀)
I'll then be moving on to editing for 'The Wisteria Princess and The White Knight'/「藤姫と白馬の騎士」/「ふじひめとはくばのきし」/'Fujihime to hakubanokishi'.
Once that's done, I'll finally mark the story as complete 😅
This will probably get us into November, where my main objective will be to finish writing volume two of RTSMS, as well as editing the existing chapters.
