. Good morning 🌞 booklover 📚 . Fokus bisa kelar seri "Chronicles of Narnia", thanks to @tiny_shen , Finally Aslan & Pevensie Brothers bisa diselesaikan PR-nya. . Kebanyakan dibaca tentu saja genre classic dan fantasy. Harry Potter series sdh sampai pd "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix", thanks to @amel_dan_mirza . Pelan tapi pasti bakal dibaca koq lanjutannya. . Satu lagi adalah "The Kite 🪁 Runner" by Khaled Hosseini. . Fokus bulan berikutnya saya mau kelarin seri² yg belum saya selesaikan. Juga utk menutup bolong² yg msh banyak di A to Z Challenge 2022. Semoga tercapai ya 🙏 . #bookwrapup #junewrapup #julywrapup #bookwrapup2022 #KatBooksCollection #stayhome #bookstagrammerindonesia #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagramfeature #booksofinstragram #readingchallenge #goodreads #readingbooks #booklover #bookish #bookaddict #bookaholic #bookworm #ilovebooks #ilovereading #ilovetoread #bacaituseru #pecandubuku https://www.instagram.com/p/Cgp-eQBPkWm/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

A Year Without Books: June Wrap-Up
A Year Without Books: June Wrap-Up
June taught me rough lessons that have made me shift my library reading ways for July. I struggled to balance the short loan times of longer novels I wanted to read in June. One of my library cards almost always has the titles I want to read available, but for only 14 day loans. I thought I could read a few longer novels faster than humanly possible for my eyes, haha, you live and you…

Q: What is your favorite book you read in June?. Can somebody please explain to me how we're already 7 months into 2022?! Make time slow down!. In June I read 8 books, 4 graphic novels, DNF-ed 1 book, went to 1 concert, traveled to Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., went to ALA Annual, and saw 12 Broadway shows. Full wrap up post on the blog now, link in bio. These are a few of my favorites from June:. 🎨 Slip by Marika McCoola & Aatmaja Pandya - This is a fast paced graphic novel and I loved seeing the art work Jade and the other students created! Art isn’t just about the piece created, but the meaning behind it. This story also has a magical realism aspect to it which I didn’t expect. 💜The Romantic Agenda by Claire Kann - My favorite part about this story is that both Joy and Malcolm identify as asexual but show it in different ways – this book shows that there isn’t one way to be ace, its a spectrum. This book has everything you would expect from a rom-com – except on page sex. 👻 Not Good For Maidens by Tori Bovalino - Goblin Market retelling, but make it LGBTQ+. Excellent fantasy/horror YA story. 🍏 Wicked Beauty by Katee Robert - As with the previous two books in this series, I went in mostly blindly to the Greek mythology aspect to this. Wicked Beauty focuses on Helen of Troy, Achilles, and Patroclus – all of whom I know nothing about, but you don’t need to know anything in advance in order to enjoy this story. This story is told in alternating perspectives between these three and I loved all of them. #JuneWrapUp - #LMSJuly2022, #AlltheBooksJul22, #bookishconlifejul22, #novelebookreads, #TheShakespeareanaReads, OceanBreezeandSummerReadsJul22, #readingadventuresjun22 #WrapUp #MonthlyWrapup #MonthlyReads #JuneReads #BookReviewer #BookBlogger #Bookstagram #Bookish #Bibliophile #Bookworm #BoostingYA #BookishLife #BooksOfIG #Bookstagrammer #bookishflatlay #librarybookstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/CfhTgifrqvt/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

June 2020 Wrap-up
I read 7 books in June. Only one of my book clubs is active, so I read one book for my book club.
I had a bunch of 30 minute days again, so I didn’t read as much as I wanted to. I owned all the books I read.
After starting the book club pick, which was chosen for the month because we wanted to read Asian authors, I decided the rest of the books I read in June would be by Asian authors.
June Reads:
Elevation by Stephen King [★★★★★]
The Kingdom of Back (bookclub pick) by Marie Lu [★★★★★]
The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro [★★★★★]
The Rape of Nanking by Iris Chang [★★★★★]
The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro [★★★★★]
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before (To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before #1) by Jenny Han [★★★★☆]
P.S. I Still Love You (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before #2) by Jenny Han [★★★★☆]
Books in bold are the ones I own(ed)
The Remains of the Day was my favorite book this month.
I started the third book in the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy, but didn’t finish it before the month ended.
The Rape of Nanking went towards my 2020 Goal for the TBRBuster challenge made by @bookbandit of reading one nonfiction book a month I’ve owned a year or longer.
The Remains of the Day and The Buried Giant went towards one of my overall 2020 goals of reading at least 10 books that I’ve owned for a year or longer.
Overall Goals Check-in:
Read 30 minutes a day [182/366]
Read 100 books [57/100]
Read 10 books that have been on my shelves for more than a year [7/10]
Become more active in the booklr community (not as much as I should have)
Read one book that is a 1,000 pages or more
Complete one series I’ve already started (A Series of Unfortunate Events, The African Trilogy, Heroes of Olympus, Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children)
Write in my journal every day, even if it’s only one sentence [182/366]
TBRBuster Check-in:
all books have to be owned for a year or longer at the time of reading
Read one nonfiction book a month, these do not count towards yearly goal [6/12]
Read one book I own by J. R. R. Tolkien
Read one book that is 800+ pages
Read one book that is more than a 100 years old
Read one book that was written in or before the 16th century
I loved the books I read in June. Most of them were melancholy and deeply reflective, and I enjoyed that.  I ended up only reading books that I owned because I wanted to make sure I was paying attention to my shelves a little more. I said at the end of May I wanted to focus on The Shadowhunter Chronicles, that didn’t happen. As soon as I decided to read Asian authors, I just moved on from that. I will get back to them one day.  I also wanted to read a book from Scribd and I probably could have, but again, I focused on what I owned instead.
My check-in info is as of 6/30 so it only contains things for June

Had a great reading month in June. Highlights were Almond, Persuasion (reread), Passing, Miss Buncle's Book, The Queens of Animation, and The Obelisk Gate. My least favorite was probably If Cats Disappeared from the World, which I found really disappointing. June Wrap-Up 2019
I didn’t do a May Wrap-Up because I didn’t finish a book in May. Whoopsie. It was finals season so I very much prioritized my schooling before fun reading. Sad times, but now I’m in the swing of things and tried real hard to keep up with my Goodreads challenge.

Circe by Madeline Miller
2 out of 5 stars
This book was not a favorite, unfortunately. I had super high expectations for it but…

Farewell June… you went by in a blur however my reading choices were on POINT! 👌🏻 I loved nearly everything I read and also fed my addiction to graphic novels *cough* by a lot *cough*! I am a very, very happy reader and struggle to choose what my favourites would be! Reviews will follow for most books however Daisy Jones, Wickerlight and Little & Lion were probably my stand-outs!! Sadly, I couldn’t finish Less, despite the rave reviews it receives! There was also plenty of LGBT+ rep, of course! In total I read 8 books, 1 poetry and a whopping 18 graphic novels! PURE BLISS!!!!!!!! . Once and Future by @amyrosecapetta and @cori_mccarthy - gifted Paul Takes the Form of a Mortal Girl by @anderlawlor - gifted Women by @chloeeesimonne - gifted The Girl in Red by @authorchristinahenry - gifted The Wickerlight by @stonemadonna - gifted Daisy Jones & the Six by @tjenkinsreid - gifted The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by @themackenzilee - gifted Little and Lion by @brandycolbert Bending the Universe by @justinwetch - gifted Avatar: The Last Airbender The Promise Part 1-3, The Rift Part 1-3, The Search Part 1-3 The Legend of Korra: Ruins of the Empire Part 1 Ms Marvel Vol 7-9 Lumberjanes Vol 2-3 Saga Vol 2 Moonstruck Vol 1 Papergirls Vol 2 .
