Happy #ShelfieSunday friends! 🌈 I don't think I've shown off these shelves before. These are my new TBR shelves, next to my side of the bed in our master bedroom. So basically, this is the last thing I see at night and the first thing I see in the morning. 😍 (Except blurry, because I wear contacts/glasses & am blind without them.) . . This is probably my favorite of the new shelf set-ups after we dismantled my library to make a 2nd nursery for one of our twins. It's colorful and comforting, and I was able to display some of my favorite bookish art and pin hoops. This photo is actually a couple months old, so there aren't usually fresh flowers there. And the books on the very top change -- that's where I keep track of my monthly TBR, books I've read so-far each month, and upcoming ARCs/most likely to read next books. Every time I think about All The Bad Apples by @moirawithatrema , I cry. I cried whilst reading her new release, I cried after, and even thinking about it now, my heart hurts. All The Bad Apples is a book about women, their bodies and the appalling/ horrific/ tragic/ sad lives of the bad apples living in Ireland in the 20th century. In a letter from the author, @moirawithatrema writes “I wrote this book with fury, but also with hope. That’s women’s rage, women’s voices, can make a difference. That sharing stories shatters stigma. That speaking truths brings abuses to light.” I cannot give this book greater words than those already spoken about it.
