Incomprehensible.
If I have to elaborate, from my observations of him since his 1st appearance till the end of ss3, he seems to be the type of person who really wears any and all emotions he's feeling right on his face; which should be a fucking terrible strategy to have for someone who is said to be sooooo good at manipulating and controlling people (sir if you can't even suppress and or bend your own emotions so as to not give yourself away... How do you expect to efficiently manipulate others?!)
So to combat this massive plot hole in his character, any time I could, I almost always try to make his facial expressions as hard to read as possible(emphasis on try because I'm aware of my own lack of artistic ability...) Like joy should always be mixed with a hint of sadness; malice should seem gentle (if you can even call the way I portray him as malic at all lol) etc ~ You get the idea.
