Summary: Tom plays 'say what' with Jake, Zendaya and Jacob. During that they reveal a surprise for him but also for you.

Zendaya texted you yesterday about that interview they are going to do and asked if you wanted to surprise Tom.

You said 'yes' and Zendaya had something special planned for you as well, which she's going to add in the interview.

She texted you that someone will pick you up and drive you to where they were doing the interview and you were extremely nervous.

A nice woman lead you to where they're are filming and you stood behind a thin wall, already hearing them screaming at each other. You laughed a little and a guy with a headset walked over to you.

"You must be Y/n Holland?" he shook your hand and you nod smiling. "Alright, Zendaya told me what you wanted to do and I will give you a sign when you can walk in, okay?"

You nod and he smiled, walking back to his position and you waited, listening to the others.

"Next question" You heard Zendaya shout and chuckled. "Y/n is here right now"

"What?" Tom practically yelled and they all laughed.

"Y/n. Is. Here. Right. Now" she said slowly and Jake's eyes widen.

He turned to Tom, who has no clue what was going on.

"Y/N IS HERE!" Jake yelled at him and he turned to Zendaya.

"Y/n is here" he repeated and they all nodded.

The guy from before gave you a thumb up and you came over from behind the poster.

"No way!" Tom set the headphones down and immediately stood up, hugging you tight. "I can't believe you're here!"

You greeted them all and Jake offered you his place next to Tom and handed you his headphones.

"You want me to play too?" you asked and they all nodded excitedly. "Alright"

You set them on and only heard loud music while Jake read something.

"Y/n will be...." he started.

"Y/n will be" you both repeated and Zendaya smiled brightly.

"....join the MCU" he read. He and Jacob looked surprised at Zendaya and your eyes widen.

"I'm going to join the MCU!" you took your headphones off and Tom did the same. "I'm going to join the MCU!"

Tom nodded and you literally jumped on him to hug him. He caught you easily and wrapped his arms around you.

"They said that they loved your performance in Spider-Man far from home and already planned you in the next movies. I'm so proud of you, Y/n/n" he said and you both got out of the hug.

"We all are proud of you," Jake said and pat your shoulder. You smiled and ended the interview with them together.

The internet is going to freak out.

hey so my requests are open if you click the link in my bio thing it’ll take you to it or click this requests :) Let me know if any links dont work

Guidelines:

When requesting please give me the character/celebrity, the show or movie they are from, a description of what you want, whether it will be fluff, angst, smut etc and if you want to be tagged.

Please specify if you would like it to be a female, gender neutral or male reader. However because i am a girl and know nothing about gay sex i wont write malexmale smut. I have no experience in it so i doubt id be good at writing it. i’m sorry. I will do threesomes (or more) where at least one woman is present :)

I wont write an imagine about a gay character being straight.

I am willing to write imagines about dark topics. Such as depression, suicide, eating disorders, etc. I will not however write in detail about rape but i am okay with it being mentioned/ hinted. I also dont like writing imagines where the character/celebrity is a kidnapper or murderer sorry. I also wont do incest relationships.

I dont do ships. I do reader imagines or if youd like to add a name to your request then ill more than happily do it like that.

I will do imagines on plus sizes readers. I will do imagines for family imagines as well and platonic ones too.

When you request something dont expect it to be up straightaway but i will try my hardest to be as quick as possible. I promise i havent forgotten i just havent gotten round to it :)

In the future there may be some changes to this list based on what i am interested in at the current time. Also if a character you want to request for isnt on the list but the actor is feel free to ask if i’ll do it for that character :)

Request Description: tom holland x teen!costar!reader and jake gyllenhaal x teen!costar!reader (or just one of them lol) where they're at the red carpet for the premiere of their new movie. suddenly, a fan sneaks onto the red carpet and inappropriately touches/attacks the reader. tom and jake are super pissed and get super protective over the reader. thank you!

(A/N): LMAO NOT @ ME FOR ACCIDENTALLY POSTING THIS BEFORE IT WAS DONE EYE,,, anyway this is my first gender neutral post. im very happy to be able to include more people in my fics, and i apologize for previously exclusively having female pronouns :) also thank you to @goblinsbones for bringing the whole gender neutral thing to my attention!

“Alright, you’re on soon!” someone yelled from the backstage area. The crowd of fans and journalists was already cheering from behind the curtain.

You and the rest of the cast of Spiderman: Far From Home were standing in your gorgeous suits and dresses waiting for the red carpet. You had all worked so hard on the movie to give it your all, and it had finally payed off. You finally felt the pride as you stood at the premiere.

You hadn’t had a huge role in the new Spiderman movie. At least not yet. Kevin Feige, Marvel’s boss and the Man With The Plan™ had informed you, that you small character would be much more important in the upcoming Spiderman movie. Of course, you had to keep shush about that.

Either way, you’d grown very close to the cast. You had first feared that it would be awkward and that you would be an outsider, given that you were quite a bit younger than them, but that hadn’t been the case.

You and Zendaya basically texted or hung out everyday, you and Jacob pranked everyone together, you and Tom had heated discussion about movies, and you kept Jake informed on Gen Z culture. You loved each one of them dearly.

“You nervous?” Jake asked. He was looking in the mirror one last time, adjusting his tie. You grimaced and shrugged.

“A little bit, but I’m okay,” you said, “I’m mostly excited. I can’t wait to see all the fans. I hope I lived up to their expectations.”

“Well, I don’t know about them, but you lived up to my expectations, kid. And I actually know what I’m talking about!” Jake joked and finally turned to face you. You scoffed and giggled.

“Alright, it’s starting now!” the same man who had yelled before informed, and you saw him scurrying off to a distant corner of the backstage area.

“I guess we’re doing it,” Zendaya said. She was beautiful as always, her amazing taste in style showing through her butterfly dress.

First she went through the curtains, the crowd screaming and roaring. You felt a little bit more nervous then, wondering if they would cheer as hard for you.

Then Jacob went through, and then a lady gestured for you to walk through, which you did. A smile immediately adorned your face. The people cheered for you. There were so many smiling fans further down the carpet and the sky was blue and bright. The sun beamed on your skin, as you took a couple of steps down the red carpet.

There was nothing to be nervous about, you realized. It was awesome.

Jake and Tom followed after you, and then began the slow decent down the carpet. First, past the photographers and then the area with the journalists (arguably the worst part), before arriving at the most exciting part. The fans. The long stretch where fans stood on either side, eyes gleaming in adoration.

You smiled and waved, expressing your joy. Tom and Jake, walking behind you, smiled when they saw your excitement. It was your first big movie premiere.

You were too caught up in the moment, so happy you could burst, to notice or hear the bustle and yelling happening just a little bit behind you, between you and Jake.

No, you didn’t notice that at all, not until you felt a hand on your waist and your shoulder, making you jump. The hand kept you from scurrying away, and spun you around the face the person.

You just assumed it was Jake or Tom or a bodyguard or something. You were wrong. Spinning around you came face to face with a random man, probably 20 or so years older than you. You’d never seen him in your life, and the moment you processed that, his touch on your body felt like a burning, blaring alarm.

“Y/N!” he yelled over the sounds of the fans talking and screaming. His spit hit your face. You tried to grab his arms and pull them off you, but his hold only tightened. “I’m such a big fan! Please! Please, can you sign my shirt?”

You were thrashing and desperately trying to pull him off you, every inch of you showing discomfort and disgust with his hold on you, but he seemed oblivious, or maybe he just didn’t care.

“Get off of me!”

Finally, a hand roughly pulled the man from you, releasing you. You almost fell over, your body hurling away from him. Your vision blurred for a moment, but remembering where you were, you blinked back your tears.

Jake’s hand was digging into the guys shoulder, and you saw the guy twisting in pain. Jake was yelling something, something about “how dare you!” and “what gives you the right to touch them?” His jaw clenched and unclenched.

Tom was marching over as well, and angry look on his face. He got close to the man as well, yelling now too (”You fucking scum!”). Then, across the carpet, he turned his head and his eyes caught yours. He halted. He saw you, hugging yourself, chest heaving, as you struggled to hold back your tears. This was supposed to be fun.

Tom’s heart broke. It broke because he knew the experience was ruined. You’d been so excited. And for what? For some jerk to mess it up for you?

He suddenly felt no urge to yell at the guy, no, he just padded over to you, and brought you into a hug without a word. You stood there.

“I’m so sorry, N/n,” he whispered. With him so close, you could finally hear. “He had no right to hold you like that.”

“It’s not your fault,” you muttered. Tom didn’t answer then and you both just stood there in a hug, warm and nice, holding each other.

You felt a hand gently placed on your back and looked up to see Jake. He smiled at you gently, although you could tell he was suppressing a lot of anger. He and Tom made eye contact for a moment, then both looked at you.

“Alright guys, we better go,” Jake said and both you and Tom nodded.

You begun to walk, but this time you felt Jake settle on one side of you and then Tom at the other. They both grabbed the hand of yours that was on their side, and then you started walking down the carpet again.

You saw some fans awwing, some still outraged at the man’s actions, and some completely clueless. Either way, you held on to Tom and Jake. The warmth of their hands in yours, made a sense of security and safety swirl in your chest. You smiled.

“Thank you!” you said to no one in particular, but the squeeze of your hands let you know that they heard. Although, if you asked them no thank you was needed. No one should be allowed to scare their little sib, and goddamnit they would make sure of that.

• but for the chaos that followed it

• Now, you may be wondering ‘what chaos could you possibly mean?’

• The Prank Wars

• That’s it

• Everyone that has ever worked with you two knew about The Prank Wars

• Whenever you were both cast for a film, one was bound to happen

• This one was different

• How was this one different?

• You two wanted to make this The Greatest Prank War Of The Century

• The biggest and the greatest

• Oh what joy for fellow castmates

• This all started quite harmless actually

• Maybe switching the sugar in each other’s drinks for salt, or untying each other’s shoelaces

• But soon it grew and escalated

• There was a time where you covered Jake’s whole trailer (both inside and out) with pictures of Sebastian Stan and Tom Hiddleston

• Jake got back at you by painting your trailer bright neon pink

• (Jokes on him, you didn’t mind the colour. It made finding your trailer easier)

• The chaos would only grow with a shared trailer

• The biggest prank Jake ever played on you was actually after you had both shot the movie

• He gave you the wrong address for the venue where the movie premier was held

• You were an hour late to your own premier!

Starting a Family

Pairing: Jake Gyllenhaal x reader Words: ~800

[A/N: english isn’t my “mother language” so i’m sorry if there’s mistakes, typos, or it doesn’t make any sense, i’m sorry…]

Jake wanted to start a family. One or two kids, maybe even three and with them, a dog or two. But you didn’t. You didn’t find yourself as a loving, caring mother. You just wanted to have only Jake and few dogs.

But as the years went and how much Jake was talking about babies and how he would rise his kids and what he wanted to be when they grow up, you started to warm up a little bit. You didn’t hate children. You just didn’t… they were the pain in the ass –as we can say -from the baby years to the teen years; screaming for no reason, crying in the middle of the night, tantrums, not listening what you are saying, all of those were the reasons why you didn’t want children. But when walking around the city, in the malls, in the little shops, there were always a happy couple with stroller and a baby in it. And every time you walked past the couple with the sleeping baby, you always find a smile on your face and you couldn’t stop. The couples were so happy with their child and the love and care was felt in the air, and you wanted that. You started to see in the future how happy and wonderful your life could be if there was a baby involved.

As the months went, you had somehow started to find an excuse to buy all the cute and small baby clothes –but you still hold yourself for not buying the clothes and toys what you found adorable- and you even started to plan your future child’s life; what they’re going to be, what they name would be and everything. You wanted to have a child. One day after you wake up, you started to feel not so good. You didn’t have an appetite, you felt feverish and nauseous. Nauseous in the morning. It’s the first promising symptom of being pregnant. Jake had already left to work and you were all alone. While getting up to sit on the bed, you started to feel how something was getting up from your stomach to your mouth and you had already run to the bathroom. You came out and felt dizzy. “Could it be…?” you thought and after clearing your head, you decided to leave the house and go to a little grocery shopping. Coming home, not even willing to take your jacket or shoes off, you went straight away to the bathroom with the pregnancy test with you. Over 10 minutes of waiting, you didn’t want to look the test but you wanted to. All the positive and negative thoughts came into your head, but the certain thought always crossed your mind; “Am I ready to become a mother if it’s positive?” You looked at the test on the sink and it’s been over 20 minutes since you had taken the test. You breathed out shortly and took the test in your hand and turned it over. There it was. The two stripes. It was positive. There’s a child in your stomach.

Sitting on your couch, waiting for Jake coming home, you were thinking how to tell him that you’re gonna have a new family member in 9 months. Soon the door opened and your heart was beating way too fast that it made your whole body to shake. Jake walked to you and he had a happy smile on his face. He had good news. He told that he had a main role in upcoming movie and he started to tell everything about it and he was really hyper about it. While he was talking excited –not stopping his talk- you needed to somehow tell your news. He talked and talked but you opened your mouth. “Jake, I’m pregnant” and Jake stopped immediately. “What?” he asked and you started to smile. “We’re having a baby” and Jake’s mouth opened. “A-are you… Y- you take the…?” he didn’t know what to say. “Jake, you’re going to be a father” you smiled and Jake started to grow a smile on his lips and his eyes started to get watery. He rushed to hug you and the hug what he was giving was the one hug you haven’t felt since your first date. The hug was protective, caring and loving. “What made you change your mind?” he asked after letting you go from his arms. Jake knew you didn’t want children. “I- I really don’t know” you chuckled. “Seeing couples with their babies outside, I kinda saw us there, happily starting a family” you smiled and Jake hugged you one more time. Even you didn’t plan having a child in your life, deep inside you knew this was the way how your life was meant to be.

(A/n): lolz so this was originally a request I was writing and then after I finished writing it I read the request one more time before posting it and realized it’s nothing like the request wanted LMFAOO so I cried and then I was like I’m not just gonna waste this. So if this seems similar but not identical to ur request I’ll write ur request soon but actually follow it correctly!!!!! Don’t worry <3

You kept your struggles with anxiety quiet, trying to keep it on the down low. And honestly, you’d done a pretty good job. A lot of people didn’t even know about it. But maybe that was your first mistake.

It was aggressive, and ruthless. It had no regard for your everyday life and it was hell trying to manage it, especially at such a young age. Jake didn’t even know about it for the longest time.

One day when the two of you had finished filming earlier than expected, he asked if you’d wanted to go to lunch. But you freaked out just at the idea. He said he made reservations for a very open and crowded and popular restaurant and that screamed absolutely terrifying to you. He was confused at why you were so upset, and you had to explain yourself to him.

“Have you heard of this place? 5 star reviews! There’s literally a waiting list, I may have had to use our names and fame to get us a reservation, but it worked and it’s in thirty minutes! Just be prepared for attention, and most likely paparazzi.”

He didn’t understand why you started stuttering, hyperventilating, and crying. And honestly you didn’t really either. It was just a buildup of anxiety that you’d been holding in for too long, and you were tired of hiding it. You hated how that was the way he found out about your anxiety, though.

Jake felt terrible for not knowing, and springing such an uncomfortable situation onto you. And you felt terrible ruining Jake's plans. You were both left feeling terrible, but in your defense, you always felt terrible about something in the back of your mind.

Jake always had a suspicion about your anxiety. You were always painting your nails over and over whenever you had free time, because you wanted to appear put together. But everytime he looked at you you would be biting it off. Just to repeat the vicious cycle.

And you'd be watching someone else do a scene on set, or listening to what other people had to say, whenever you thought you were in the clear and no one was looking, you’d slap a strategically placed hair tie against your wrist.

And almost inevitably, wherever you were, you would be tapping your foot, up and down, all the time. Constantly. To the point where it sometimes annoyed jake.

But recently, you felt like your anxiety was getting better. You were doing good. You didn’t really take your meds anymore, and you lived much more in the moment, and took better care of yourself.

You had a few months off, since filming was over. Because recently the film you and Jake were in had been released. And today was the first day of the press tour. The first interview you’d done in a very long time, but you felt like you had it in the bag.

You met up with Jake again a few days ago, to make sure the spark in your friendship was still there before going back in front of the screens, and to the public. Of course, it remained. And you were very happy to be with Jake again. You were good friends.

He asked how everything was going, and you assured him you were better. You told him all the ways you were improving and he was happy for you, though, still a little worried.

He was more worried than you were, and for a good reason. Because you didn’t even really feel anything coming on, no intense emotions. But that’s usually how it went, coming out of the blue.

The entire morning while you were riding in the taxi to where the interviews were being held, Jake kept asking you if you felt alright.

“Are you feeling okay?”

“Do you need anything? Some water?”

“Y/n, how do you feel?”

“You alright?”

“See, there was slight hesitation.”

“Are you sure you’re okay?”

“We don’t have to do this, you know. Let’s just call it off, hey! Can we call it off? It’s me, it’s my stomach.”

It was annoying you a tremendous amount.

“Jake, please stop. I’ve assured you a hundred times, I’m doing just fine. Alright? I can manage. And if I start to feel… not fine, then I’ll still manage. I’ll find a way.” You say, getting fed up.

Jake nods slowly, and turns his head.

And you really were feeling fine! You don’t know where it came from. But once you saw the large crowd of fans waiting outside this building you were supposed to go in, you completely were back to being not fine. You turned back into the kid who had no idea how to deal with their anxiety, and you realized you only got better because you didn’t need to handle your triggers anymore. That was an irresponsible decision on your part.

The most stubborn part of you refused to show any sort of vulnerability to Jake at that moment, and as he looked at you, he could tell something was wrong. He almost asked if you were alright, but he didn’t want to be told off again. So he just smiled at you.

You hesitantly smiled back, and nodded. Reassuring his unspoken question for you. Silently screaming, ‘oh my god Jake, I’m alright.’ Even though you really weren’t feeling all that hot.

Once the taxi is parked, Jake opens his door and leaves the taxi. You pause for a moment before working the courage up to open your door. You breathe a few long breaths before reaching for your door handle.

You reach, but nothing happens. “Nope.” You whisper, and your hands fall to your lap, before gripping your head with both your hands. “Shit.” You say, slightly more loud than your last complaint.

At this point, Jake has walked over to your side of the car, waiting for you to exit. After a little too long, he leans down to the window to check and see what you’re doing, and you’re avoiding looking at, or being seen by the group of people. You’re rubbing your sweaty hands on your thighs and leaning back and forth. He opens the door, and pushes you to the opposite side of the taxi that he was just sitting on.

“Y/n what’s wrong, kid? C’mon, talk to me.” He grabs your arms, trying to get you to look at him.

“Hey, we’re sitting in each other’s seats.” You try to hide the fact that he was right about you not being okay, and you wonder how he knew before you did.

Jake stares at you, dumbfounded. “I’m aware, dummy. What’s wrong with you?” He responded.

“I’m fine, it’s fine, jake.” You assure him, trying to brush it off. “Yeah but you're obviously not, though.” He doesn’t buy a single second of it, because he’s not an idiot.

You shake your head and wish you could just shake off the anxiety and be like Jake. You wish you could be as carefree and cool as he is right now. You wish you were dealt a better hand in which you were able to deal with everyday situations.

“I was getting better,” you shake your head, “I was getting better, jake. Everytime I feel like it’s getting better, it just hits me all over again.” Tears immediately start to cloud your vision and you throw your hand to your face to wipe your eyes.

Jake hurts for you. He wishes he could understand every aspect of your hurt and figure out how to help you in the exact way that you need, but he knows that the best healing you could experience is within yourself. And that’s what he tells you.

“I’m sorry, y/n. I’m so sorry. I know it’s hard, and you’re gonna trip a ton of times before you get to the finish line. But those trips are gonna be minuscule to you after you’re out. But I believe you’re strong enough to do it. And I can help you as best I can, even though I don’t understand everything you feel. I can try.”

You try to compose your tears, you nod in response to Jake's reassuring speech. “It’s just a group of teenagers, and they like us. I’ll be with you every step of the way. We can make it through this.” He promises you.

You sniffle and look up, before leaning over to hug Jake. “Thank you.” You muffle into his shirt. He chuckles, you’re welcome, weirdo.”

After you pull away, he reaches for his door handle, but you grab his arm, to get his attention. “How did you know something was up before I did?”

“I guess I just know you better than you know yourself,” he leans closer to you, “we’re connected.” He whispers. The two of you burst into laughter. “Yeah, right.” You laugh. Then you make your way to the group of fans, and they’re not as bad as you originally thought.

Surprise!

Imagine: Jake (your father) gets surprised when he sees that you had taken home two dogs

Warnings: none

A/N Again sorry for a shitty post, but I can’t get this interview out of my head ever since I saw it, he looks so cute with the puppies, and it’s a plus that the puppies are cute too (is it even puppies, I’m not good at knowing these stuff with dogs)

You couldn’t help it, when you had walked by a store that had a box filled with two puppies inside outside of the windows

It didn’t help that it was raining and the puppies looked so frozen in the cold rain

It wasn’t like it was a crime, you had not stolen the puppies from anyone

No, there had been a paper, attached to the box

Someone had written with a marker stating that they couldn’t take care of these pups and whoever wanted them could take them

And that’s how you got to where you are now

At home trying to warm up two pups

Luckily on your way home, you had passed by a pet store and bought dog food

And the two puppies had eaten most of the food

The three of you were curled up together on the couch

A movie playing on the tv in the background

Put all of you had fallen asleep to the sound of the movie and the comfort and warmth from each other

Drained from your long day in the rain

And Jake who was on his way home didn’t have any clue of what you had done

But he would soon find out

As he opened the door and walked inside, he could see tiny footprints from an animal on the floor

He followed them to the kitchen

There he was met by a pup eating food out of a bowl

As soon as the dog saw him it came running straight to him

It jumped up on him and, Jake decided to come down to the floor

And as he sat on the floor he was soon joined by a second dog + you, a sleepy teenager

Being as sleepy as you were you hadn’t noticed that Jake was home, and you went to take a glass of water

But as soon as you turned around again and rubbed the sleep out of your eyes, you could see him there

And you couldn’t help but to stare at him

He sat in a comfortable position with the two puppies in his lap, as he stared right back at you, with a questioner expression on his face

None of you said anything before you finally found your voice after your inside panic had passed

You had not thought about how to explain to your father why there was now two dogs at your home

“Surprise” was what your awkward answer turned out to be, followed with a nervous laugh and smile

He stared at you for a moment before he started to play with the dogs.

After diner that night Jake had finally confronted you about the pups

“Okay but seriously why are there two dogs here”

“Uh… I found them on the street, what was I supposed to do leave them, it was freezing, freezing.

At the end of that conversation, Jake had accepted the pups

And the next day the two of you bought everything the two pups could need in their lives

But it had also led to the discussion of names, as none of you had any ideas on what to name them

You ultimately ended up naming them Steve and Bucky

A reference to the fact that you were a big marvel fan and well, one of the pups had Steve’s hair colour while the other had Bucky’s hair colour

And when her dad drives to the compound , the reader is fast alseep and her dad has carry her to bed, and, Middle of the night the reader has a nightmare and her dad checks on her, and she cry, and her dad come lay beside her and they fall asleep, with a lott of fluff thanks and if its ready you tag me right Hithanks

A/N: I hope you like it!

On the rare occasion your dad had the day off, he always insisted on spending the day with you. Even if you had school, he’d let you skip so you could hang out with him. Most times he always surprised you and you didn’t know until that morning.

Today, your alarm clock went off at it’s normal time and you dragged yourself out of bed before getting dressed and ready for the day. When you made it downstairs, you were expecting a note from your dad on the fridge, telling you what time he’d be home but instead, you saw your dad at the counter, attempting to make breakfast.

“Dad?” you asked, “What are you doing?”

“I’m making pancakes. You want one?” he asked, not looking away from what he was doing.

“Sure. As long as you don't burn them,” you sat down at the kitchen island and watched as he continued making the pancakes, “Do you have the day off?”

“Yup!” he said, pouring the batter onto a pan, “And before you ask, I already have a whole day planned out.”

“Can’t wait!”

After eating breakfast, your dad put on all your favorite movies, having a movie morning instead of a movie night. While most of your movie choices weren’t ones Jake would choose to watch (all being sappy romance movies and rom coms) he liked to spend time with you anyway but being the best daughter you are, you let him watch one or two of his favorites.

After a few movies, the two of you got hungry and he took you out to your favorite restaurant for lunch. The waitress seated you and handed you the menu and you looked it over, even though you always ordered the same thing.

“So,” your dad said after you both had ordered.

“So what?” you asked.

“You know how you’ve always wanted to do this thing.”

“Dad, there’s a lot of things I want to do. Be more specific,” you said.

“You’ve been begging me to get your hair dyed, remember?”

You nodded, a smile slowly forming on your face. You were hoping this was going in the direction you wanted it to, “Are you going to let me dye my hair today?”

Jake just smiled at you and nodded, “But you have to let me do it. Otherwise you have to wait a week. The salon can’t get you in until then.”

“Deal,” you said. You reached across the table to hug him.

Once you finished your food and paid, you rushed out of the restaurant and back home. It was a short walk back and even shorter since you practically sprinted all the way there, Jake didn’t even try to keep up with you.

Jake had gotten everything set up in the bathroom while you changed into older clothes that could get messy. When you came into the bathroom, Jake had draped a towel over your shoulders before standing you in front of the mirror, “You ready?” he asked, opening the box of hair dye.

“Yes, just hurry up please,” you said, bouncing on your toes. This was something you’ve wanted to do for so long and you were so happy you could finally do it.

Within an hour, your hair was coated in pink hair dye and the bathroom counter was covered in pink splotches. Jake had tried his best to not get the dye all over your face and neck but he didn’t do so well.

After letting it sit for a while, it was time to rinse it out. You sat on the edge of the tub while your dad waited for the water to warm up a little, “Try not to spray me please,” you said.

Just as you said that, Jake, moved the shower head in your direction, just barely missing you, “Sorry,” he said, a smile on his face. You rolled your eyes at his antics but let him wash out the dye.

Finally, your hair was washed out and dried and now pink, just like you wanted.

To end the day, Jake took you out to another restaurant for dinner. The two of you spent most of the time catching up on what was happening with your school and stuff and his work. He had been filming recently and only just got back. He had other work things he had to do as well so he wasn’t home as much as he wanted to.

“Are you leaving again soon dad?” you asked him once dessert came.

“Probably not for a while but I still have some work things to do,” he said.

You nodded, “Okay.”

Jake raised his eyebrow at you, “Why are you asking?”

You shrugged, “I just miss you when you’re gone a lot. I like it when you’re home.”

“I miss you too Y/n,” he said, “I’ll try and be home as much as I can now okay?”

“Okay,” you said as you smiled back at him.

The drive home from the restaurant wasn’t super long but still long enough for your tiredness to catch up to you and you fell asleep. Jake didn’t realize it until you got home and he parked the car. You didn’t stir when he opened up the car door so he went around to your side and opened the door. He shook you gently to try and wake you up but you didn’t even budge.

He sighed before unbuckling your seat belt and gently lifting you out of the car. He carefully carried you inside the house and up to your room. He set you down on your bed before tucking you under the covers.

“Goodnight Y/n,” he said as he kissed the top of your head, “I love you.”

“Love you too dad.”

Request: Hello! Could I ask for a Jake Gyllenhaal x reader where they have been married for a very long time (possibly married young? Like around 20 or 21) and in an interview, the interviewer just asks about it and it’s just fluffffffff? If not, thank you anyway!! 💛💛

Jake was currently doing press junket for his new movie Spiderman: Far From Home and he had been sitting in a hotel room answering pretty much the same questions all day, but then came a question that hadn’t been asked yet and wasn’t about the movie.

“You and your wife have been married for quite a while, almost 18 years I believe, how are things with you two? The two of you have kind of become Hollywood's “it” couple over the years and are loved and adored by many? What’s the secret of maintaining such a great relationship over the years?

Jake immediately perked up at the mention of you and was more than happy to talk about you as he answered, “Things are great between us, still going strong. She is the best thing in my life, my rock, the love of my life. As for maintaining a great relationship, i don’t know, we were married young and not many people thought that we would last, but we make it work. It’s hard sometimes when we are both working and promoting movies but I’d say the biggest thing for us is communication, sharing how we feel, and spending as much time as possible together, ya know? She is my best friend and my rock and I love every single minute with her, even when we argue. Sometimes things get hard but we work through it and come out stronger than before. She has been in my life for since we were teens and before we started dating she was my best friend. I know that no matter what I can always talk to her about anything, and be honest. Without her I don’t know what I would do she has kept me grounded for so many years and I’m always falling for her more and more, even though I didn’t think it was possible. She is the love of my life and I don’t plan on losing her anytime soon.” Jake says with a huge grin at the thought of you.

“That’s awesome man, I’m glad to hear it” the interviewer states with a smile.

“Thanks, sorry for rambling,” he says with a sheepish smile

“No worries, hope you guys stay together.”
