I was reading a lot of "Jon turns into a cat" fics recently and realized that no one has given Martin the opportunity to take feline form yet! So I'm granting him the privilege myself :)

I'm trying to think abt if I have any aus that you don't already know about BWCEUAHAHAAH and im not sure how much you know abt the most recent one I've made
OOOH I have got this one fantasy AU I haven't touched in a while but I think would be really fun to revisit sometime! <3
The idea is that there's this ancient curse that's been unleashed on the land creating this magic rot that's slowly been devouring forests, towns, and eventually maybe even whole kingdoms! The rot can overtake animals and people, warping them into dangerous mirrors of their past self, this AU's take on doodlerization. the sauce if you will <3
Taylor is a member of the royal court of the Kingdom of Hell (son of the first prince Nick) and Link is his loyal guard and bestie who keeps him from dying in their shenanigans and escapades. They have a silly goofy, I've known you my whole life and I will die to protect you bc you're the person dearest to me also ur a dumbass who's stupid as fuck, energy going on <3 friends to dumbasses to lovers <3
Normal is a regular villager who recently happened to score an apprenticeship with the castle healer! Apparently his dad knew someone in the court and managed to pull some strings, wonder what that's all about. (spoiler alert: its pretty important and he's also secretly royalty but doesn't know it)
Scary is an amateur witch <3 She saw her mom start dating the castle wizard and was like FUCK THAT GUY AND HIS STUFFY BOOKS. BET I COULD DO THAT BUT BETTER AND COOLER AND LESS NERDY. So she's been sneaking off to practice magic with rudimentary materials and a few nicked things Terry left around their cottage.
Turns out Scary has a natural talent for certain parts of magic because she accidentally stumbles upon a prophecy outlining the world's possible end unless a certain group of people go to the ruins of a lost kingdom to stop the rot. And when she finds out who those people are she's like FUUUUUCK. bc now she's gotta find a way to sneak into the castle to somehow find these losers, one of which is apparently a PRINCE !! and then they've all gotta go out and not die on an adventure or else EVERYONE'S gonna die. and like she can't be bothered but also ig it would be kind of cool to shove it in her stepdad's face that she's more awesome than him and saved the world so. off she goes!
Hermie's the second prince who is often overshadowed by his older half brother. He happens to overhear the group talk about the prophecy around the time they're preparing to leave and tags along to prove his worth to his dads and also have people pay attention for him for once goddamn !!!!! also the healer boy is kinda cute <3
Cue super fun goofy and exciting magical fantasy quest !!! Secrets are revealed! Bonds are formed! Possible corruption? MAYHAPS! Also where even ARE the ruins of the kingdom of Oakvale no one seems to have heard of it at all! All while the rot continues to spread....

OOOH ANON YOU ARE MY FAVORITE, YOU KNOW THAT?
Today I offer tidbits from before Dororo rejoined the platoon.... Word of warning, I tend to stick a bit closer to the mangas timeline! So Dororo doesn't come back until like a year and a half after they land.
I always thought it was kind of weird that Dororo got caught in that bear trap, since he's supposed to be this hyper-vigilant assassin. Which is why I was delighted to realize that it fit perfectly with my au!!! ^-^
What with him being all distraught over the break, Dororo is just left bumbling around the forest, not paying attention to his surroundings which is how he gets caught. Of course, Koyuki finds him and takes him home like a stray dog 💖
He finds a lot of purpose in being a ninja, of course. It helps him get a new perspective, be happier with himself, and gets his mind off of... All That (childhood trauma, assassin trauma, and #Relationship Issues)
Giroro spends a LOT of time looking for him, of course he's technically "patrolling" but he's really only kidding himself with that. This is actually sort of canon in the manga! I nearly shat my pants reading it LOL I was so excited 😭😭😭 like HE'S LOOKING FOR HIIIMMMM
He does on rare occasion spot Dororo in the forest! But VERY rarely, like 1 or 2 times. Dororo probably ends up spotting him more </3 it sends them both into hysterics, especially the first time. Dororo runs away, and Giroro attempts to run after him, but in the end loses him.
Dororo was simply NOT READY to see him again!!!! He'll join again on his OWN terms, thank you very much! (He definitely goes back to the ninja clan and cries for an Embarrassing amount of time. Koyuki just has to sit there because he WON'T TELL HER WHATS WRONG.)
Giroro is just left sort of dazed and confused because WHAT JUST HAPPENED?? Why did he run away? Why did he look so upset seeing him? (He's pretty stupid) (he'll get better I promise he just needs things spelled out sometimes) (#COMMUNICATION_WINS)
I've been trying to write something a little more formal about this but my bouts of writing inspiration are a rare sight! So expect that... Probably never and enjoy the table scraps 💖

okay, we all know about SAGAU and its different hundred of aus (not complaining tho, some are chef kiss out there) but like I've been interested in Honkai Star Rail self-aware AU– like i know it's been out for a while but the SAGAU concept is even better when it comes to HSR because of it sheer size and potential.
(not saying Genshin SAGAU aren't good tho.)
It just that I've been having this brainrot and I just need to get it out.
Imagine in SAHSR (yk, self-aware honkai star rail), we got an OC (or reader, if you're more comfortable with that– i refuse to use Y/N, just no) that is an Aeon.
Nothing shocking but lets turn that up a bit by making the OC (or Reader) the oldest yet an unknown Aeon since they went into hiding, but still kept watch of the galaxies. People know little to nothing about OC other than their loyal followers– like, even some of the newer Aeons know nothing about us (or Reader).
My brain rot came up with the Aeon of Mortality. Kinda like an emphasization that we (the Aeon) was here before most of the living being in the galaxies (hence the 'creator' thingy).
Or Aeon of Origin would be a good one too since theres Terminus, the Aeon of Finality.
(kinda like a direct reference to Kiana and Mei, hehe.) But im leaning more towards Aeon of Mortality.
Heck, yk how the Imaginary element embodies the light of lives? yeh, spin that point to how when OC(or Reader), the Aeon of Mortality came into existence, which created the Imaginary element. hell, maybe even drag the Quantum element in too bcs mortality also embodies the aspect of death.
some of the faction/group names i came up with are [Freedom-willed Sworn], [Home of the Epheremeal] and [Anti-Entropy].
not gonna explain the meaning of all of that, but they all gotta do with mortality, freedom, freewill, the will to choose and live, etc.
now thats out of the way, lets get to the fun part!
OC (or Reader) is the Aeon that watches over the Trailblazers (like, us players) and latches onto the Astral Express because they used to be besties with Akilivi ( D: ). Stelle/Caelus have no idea how they got a whole Aeon to get attached to them but they aren't complaining!
(we are also the one enabling the two's trash-loving behavior lmao)
the Astral Express also has no idea why an Aeon, the oldest one (and one they know nothing about) decided to ride along with them. Himeko got used to our presence as we appeared when she repaired the train.
March is confused but happy, Dan Heng is cautious but tolerant and Welt is skeptical but lenient. But slowly, they get used to our presence and might even start liking our help and support!
Asta and Arlan are surprised to know that the oldest Aeon known is constantly watching over them. They've never met an Aeon that interact so close! Herta might have a whole aneurysm wanting to learn anything about us.
Screwllum and Ruan Mei would try to stop her but even they could not hide their curiosity about the oldest Aeon.
The Stellaron Hunters are surprised by our appearance as it was not written or foretold in Elio's script. Kafka is amused by the outcome, also a bit delighted to know that the Aeon (or Reader) was watching over them.
Going to Jarilo-IV! Surprise, surprise! Theres someone in Belobog who is a [Freedom-willed Sworn]! who is it? it can be whoever you might think it is!
The Jarilo-IV gang would be shocked to know that an Aeon was traveling alongside the Astral Express and was currently watching over them.
Some of them would be shy and awkward for knowing that, especially Bronya and Gepard. Some would be apprehensive, like Seele and Svarog. And some would be delighted! Aka, Sampo, Serval and Luka! Even Clara and Hook are happy to have us here.
Next station, the Xianzhou Luofu! right from the start, every kind of words gets out when they find out that the Aeon of Mortality is with the Astral Express. Xianzhou Luofu are skeptical of us, since they do not know of our standing, especially when it comes to the Plague Author (Yaoshi.)
not to mention OC/Reader is the Aeon of Mortality and little is known about us so they might think that our path is aligned with Yaoshi. (which doesnt, honestly.)
Jing Yuan would be suspicious of us but he would hide it well, Fu Xuan would be discontent since the future she saw did not include us, Yanqing have his own opinion but he'd follow Jing Yuan's belief, Sushang would be fascinated and Luocha would be surprised at our reveal.
Tingyun (or Phantylia) would be intrigued at our sudden appearance, Yukong is the same as Jing Yuan (just that she doesn't hide it) and Qingque wouldn't really care.
but once the Xianzhou Luofu quest is over and the gang understands that OC/Reader is not aligned with Yaoshi, they start warming up to us! while Xianzhou Luofu is devoted to Lan the Hunt in their pursue to eradicate Yaoshi, they wouldn't oppose the help of the oldest Aeon!
also, our relationship with some of the Aeons? Aeon OC/Reader constantly gives Qlipoth headaches and they would get worried about us since we do all kinds of shits ehehe.
Aeon OC/Reader constantly annoys Lan (affectionately) and Nanook whenever they get the chance.
OC/Reader are besties with Xipe (goes on a date all the time) and IX (bcs its hilarious). Likes to go sightseeing with Fuli and constantly argue with Aha lmao.
p.s. im hesitant to include the notion of 'Reader' as im not used to using that title but i think most people are more comfortable with that. i, however, will not use Y/N.

hunted hybrids au [hhau] is a scarian au that i share with @linkito - it’s self indulgent and rp-born, although there might be some drabbles and ficlets coming out of it (because we’re obsessed).
the basic premise is that scar and grian got transported to and stuck in a permadeath world that’s actively cruel and dangerous to hybrids. the nature itself is set against them, providing next to no resources, and the weather keeps getting colder and colder.
as an avian and a vex, they get relentlessly hunted—and getting caught means death. as they struggle to stay alive, they only have each other left. (desperately, they wish it could be enough.)
they have no idea what happened to hermitcraft, or if their other friends are even alive, but they barely have time to think about that amidst the cold and the hunger, the fear and the pain. days stretch into months, and their hope of ever returning anywhere akin to home dwindles. (but maybe they can put together a different makeshift hope: a feeble little thought of maybe one day managing to get far away enough that nobody will follow anymore; maybe one day they could make a new home, or the closest thing to it they can manage. maybe this nightmare can have an end, if only they hold onto each other and keep going.)

Thank you so much for acknowledging that Martlet deserves to be the Ink character of the UTY verse. Could you share your ideas you had for her? I'd love to hear them!
HEHE OF COURSE!! i am not immune to silly characters with scarfs shrugs
pluto and i were bouncing ideas back in forth for a while so i’ll summarize our overall thoughts and some extra stuff ive thought of (probably while writing this)
so the initial idea came up based on my post about martlet Remembering Resets like sans does and the idea of oh what if she got to explore the multiverse too (maybe the determination injection made her see that oh goodness there is a Lot Of AUs just. there.) then pluto mentioned possible ink and error martlet and i got Ideas… but my first attempt to draw ink martlet ended with fully realized spiral avatar martlet oops! but i finished the design yesterday lol
as for character! ink martlet has taken it upon herself to be the guard of the multiverse, flying through the space between the aus and making sure everything is going well. she’s pretty similar to base uty martlet, save for probably some backstory stuff (that i haven’t thought of yet. el oh el)
there’s no actual plot line… yet >:) we threw around some ideas (vigilante-sheriff starlo and multiverse exploring feisty five and a ceroba searching for a universe where her family doesn’t end up. gestures to uty) but there’s no designs (maybe once i learn how to draw star…)
btw for character design she’s based on eastern bluebirds (though i initially just looked up “blue and brown bird”) with ink’s general style! now that i think about it since i was just kinda doing colors for the actual paint she’d probably have ink the same color as the human souls. maybe throw in a determination serum one just for fun hehe. also adding from my Brain blast during math today she’d wear her hair half up to look like a paintbrush (doodle of it down below)

ive already spoken about them, but they're traders of secrets
if you got any gossip, secret, or info that the soulfire dont have, you can trade with them for whatever they know
they're not malicious necessarily, they just like having information around. information is power, and power means control.
each member especializes in different sorts of secrets! so depending on who you ask, you can get more especific secrets from each member.

woo!! more of them!! im rotating this au around in my mind SO much you don't even know
i'm not sure if i'm happy with the character assignments - katya definetely has changeling vibes, and, sergei sorta fits the haruspex !! but i wasn't at all sure who i was gonna assign to be the bachelor. but, yura sorta fits, plus he's the protag of pafl, and, he Is the prickly prick that will bury us all!!
i was actually thinking sooo much about character assignments i made this lol
i was out of it when making it .. forgive me for my inaccuracies .. if i could redo it, i would, and i Can, but, i dont want to. since ive already assigned them chars.
more about bachelor!yura:
he's not a full bachelor in this au, really. he's studying to become one !! like daniil, he's interested in Immortality and all that jazz. part of thanatica, but didn't create it. somewhat of a prodigy, sorta.. he's sent out to town on gorkhon only to interview isidor, nothing more. the plague still happens though, and, even though yura's not a certified doctor, he's better suited for dealing with it than most of the town.
he's much more laid back than daniil, also. a bit snarky hehe. he Knows that the plague is dangerous, and that he might die, of all his terrible circumstances. he still tries to make the vaccine. he's not nice by any means, no, but he does try to maintain a 'chill' vibe. he is not always sucessfull.. but, that's life for ya!
haruspex!sergei .. i have not thought about him much yet, to be honest. i was certain i'd make him take the bachelorelors role at one point. i also got the idea of having sergei and yura Both take the bachelor's lore! yura as sergei's understudy, following him around. honestly i do like this idea still, but, i'm gonna be fully honest - i didn't wanna make a design for understudy yura. yea i could have just like, modified sergeis a bit. but i didnt wanna ‼️
haruspex's role also underwent some thinking. at first, i thought that olya fit - she does! she fits well! but also i like sergei's unwillingless to think about his emotions for even one second and i thought that was neat. when i was thinking over bachelor!sergei, i thought that haruspex!dmitry would be neat and also funny. imagine sergei coming to this town to interrogate The Great and Immortal tatiana temnova. but she dies. and then a plague breaks out and his only 'colleagues' are these two kids that fucking hate him. cool dynamics
speaking of dynamics! thats a big part as to why i had a hard time choosing characters for the roles!
if i had made olya take on haruspex's role, bachelor!yura wouldnt really work, i think, not to the extent that i'd like it to. bachelor!sergei Could have worked, but i don't think there'd be enough conflict, really.. i think they'd have a much easier time working together than with yura.
i've never doubted katyas role, though. she's perfect. she detests trickery. but if we ourselves are to suffer deception. then our hands are no longer tied. her character is about what you'd expect. she stays silly throughout it all.
. i dont actually know That Much about the changeling's route. but i like her:) and i like katya. so. that's what ya get!

okay so @whatacreepything im putting this in a separate post because of how long is got but basically ive been playing around with the idea that instead of going to a literal "hell" in your dream with like fire and shit, everyone has their own personal hell that revolves around their own flaws/sins/fears
we see kevin's as the stereotypical "hell" because of how he views things in such plain black and white. for kevin, what scares him the most is the idea of disappointing Heavenly Father and his peers and that he isn't a good mormon. so kevin turns into a bad mormon: his uniform and garments are ratty and not taken care of, he's dirty (mormons have a strict hygiene rule), he's defacing his book of mormon and breaking all the rules, etc etc. this is why we see him drink coffee, get reprimanded by jesus, have metaphors for being gay, etc, in his helldream because they all represent what mormonism goes against.
connor's greatest fear is giving into the temptation of his sin of (what mormons like to call) "same-sex attraction." he presents more flamboyantly and wears tight and revealing clothing, makeup, etc—all the things he's been taught would make him "effeminate" and "weak." however i ALSO like to think his actual hell is him fantasizing about the beach with steve/kevin like he talks about in Turn it Off, but they arent the real versions of themselves. theyre weirdly twisted, etc, and the whole atmosphere feels wrong, until steve/kevin eventually do something fucked up and connor gets dragged under the water and down to hell. (i touch on this in my fic we don't deserve love on ao3)
as for arnold i dont really think he has regular helldreams for a few reasons. arnold's parents are relatively softer than connor and kevin's as you can see in the beginning of the show (his mother especially) and we know that he has never read the book of mormon and is super hyperfixated on all his fav medias which further proves the point his parents arent strict. if they were strict then they wouldnt let him focus on all his favourite things and disregard the BOM. however, arnold's dad is more pushy about it (again we can see that at the beginning) with how he talks about his dad being "stuck" with him. so if arnold had a helldream that wasnt the stereotypical hell because of all his fantasies, i feel as if it might be an unending office building or maybe even an empty church to signify how he thinks a world with something boring like an office job or the book of mormon is boring and he wouldnt want to live in it. hes also disappointed his father greatly in the dream

CRESCENDO but something like Yuki Yuna is a Hero which i TOTALLY forced you to watch
the heros are the members of the “hero club” or some sort of idolistic club and they go around and sing and dance for everyone else but the main premise of the club is to find sacrifices worthy for “god”—whoever that may be. So when Crescendo’s first mission begins, they freak out.
Kiyama, although excited, has never been beyond this side of the world. Where the gods lay. His flower may be something like… a sunflower, and his weapon being a polaram or breakers or something like that. something with high mobility.
Miharu is given something like. a daisy maybe? (wasnt able to find anything on masking) and their weapon is maybe something defense-related.
Kirina’s flower is a white lily. Since Kirina expresses herself through dance her weapon might be something like a fan or some sort of leg brace based on kicking
Sato’s flower is a lilac, since Sato (i think) values family and close bonds. maybe their weapon is something based on chanting and bringing things together— like the vines itsuki has
Katsu’s flower is a Strelitzia since they symbolize a free spirit. Maybe Katsu’s weapon is a straight up electric guitar or a gun of some sorr
Shion’s flower is a white rose, my gay ass loves to focus on shion’s split between her unit and crescendo, since she can only focus on one after the events of ykyk.
Anyways with these, this idol group is tasked with the duty of protecting the world against the “Vertexes” or the wrath of the gods against humanity.

i think kiyama (or katsu) should have gauntlets. they deserve to punch people. altho an entire electric guitar is SICKKK anyway kiyama probably would have Some armor (probably leather) on his upper body bc . hes gonna be in the middle of all these weapons ykno. he needs to be at least somewhat flexible and light on his feet right? hm. i dunno . kiyama and katsu are difficult to think about for this. katsu definitely has some lightning effects going on. That will stay.
SHION. I DIE IMMEDIATELY. OAURGHHRGHGRHGJHRGJRHG ourhg. she'd be probably one of the ones dealing dmg too. give em a sword ^_^ classic fighter. also im putting them in a skirt u cant STOP ME. oh if u havent caught on EVERYONE IS GETTING SOME ARMOR. YOU CANT STOP ME. magical girls outfits with just frills and fabric be damned. heheh ok time for kiri~~ she definitely has high mobility!! aaa implementing her dancing ability into her fighting style!!!!! i think shed try to learn how to fight using a halberd at first but she finds it awkward to move around with and then she (or sm1 else helps) comes up with the idea to do what shes used to: dancing. if shes so used to moving gracefully without holding heavy things then why doesnt she just. do that ? !!!! anyway im putting her hair into a high ponytail as we speak. although im having difficulty in imagining her in armor. ill work on that.
satoo waaaa so theirs would kinda be like. immobilizing enemies? kinda?? ough interestingggggg i think their armor would be relatively light (like kiyamas) but im thinking maybeee . ok i lost the thoughts dammit its hard to think about things for sato too :((
tldr i need to draw them all. specifically i need miharu in flowy fabric and armor. with flowers. and a shield. FUCK now im thinking about hades im sorry (i am crazy ok)
