While I do think anon was rude, I do think it's pretty shitty to set up all this stuff you were going to add the au and then just drop it. It's disappointing. Definitely unfollowing.

Idk, some bullshit regarding my writing output.

Alright so. I've been timing myself so that I have a better idea of how I should handle myself when it comes to the requests I'm filling (and how much output I can expect in the future.)

I can write roughly 800 words of a draft in 30 minutes (forget that I keep getting up at around minute 10 and wasting like 5-10 minutes; that's to be expected) provided that I have an outline and I've had time to thing about the mood I want the story to have (which is always the case, as those are by far the easiest parts of the entire process.) The drafts suck in terms of prose and interesting dialogue, but they are functional at a structural level.

I haven't done any measuring for editing yet because I want to get these drafts done first. So yeah. I'm using this whole thing as a way to figure out what my output can be first, and then to figure out how much is sustainable.

The good news is that sitting down to write for 30 minutes a day is easily doable. I could bump it to one hour maybe once or twice a week. THIS ASSUMES I'M NOT AT RISK OF BURNOUT and that it's not during my busiest months.

Of course, I need to conserve batteries to do other stuff that also requires creative energy because I need that to eat and pay bills, but... I'll figure out rest days little by little. Will do a lot of rest early on, I suppose.
