I have another odd question about the she trio/ass gang, which u don't have to draw

Cause I saw a little video of Harvey going hard; dancing to MiseryxCPR(xReese's Puffs) and it had me laughing for a long while, and I wondered who would be the ones singing the song if say the stardrop saloon had some kind of karaoke night

My head tells me both Sam and Abagail would end up doing Reeses's puffs, but that would leave one of the other songs without a host :/

Harvey would probably end up saying stuff about how cpr doesn't require mouth-to-mouth anymore or smthn, and Shane probably worried Marnie would walk in-or just, too drunk off his ass having fun to care 🤔

Honestly i can imagine them all just being pissed drunk before attempting to sing the song😂. i know fersure the SHE trio would require more liquid courage for it (heck even to join/start a kareoke sesh!)

Shane gives of major Kareoke Tito (uncle) vibes~. Yknow that one tito who specifically sings “My Way” by Frank Sinatra and has a bunch of classic rock songs under his belt. He’s not good at singing perse but he can at least carry a tune. He and Sebastian would totally connect with singing Misery. but like Shane vaguely knows the song (he’s heard it on radio a bajillion times but he doesnt know the name of the song so its not quite on his playlists) so he when he’s super sloshed and can barely read the screen, he tries to sing it from memory and misses a couple of the words. but hey! at least he knows the chorus and is in tune.

Meanwhile Sebastian has Misery “secretly” on his go to playlist. He doesnt admit it (the songs is too main stream and overplayed but he stumbled upon a vocaloid cover and rest is history.) He definitely always chooses the song every kareoke sesh (although not his first choice) and he’s passionate about it even has a little performance too(lots of head bangs, fist pumps and that classic 2000s disney knees bent together, feet wide apart moment)! For his duet with shane he’s the first to shed a lil tear and that gets shane going and they cry through most of the song in their own lil misery world ignoring the chaos around them.

Sam is a fucking menace for singing CPR and I do agree He and Abigail would go off on Reese’s Puff BUT i can definitely imagine being commited to singing CPR (we all know he’d awkwardly twerk). Especially if it was to troll on Harvey who probably thought it was a wholesome song about doing CPR at a specific BPM. 😂

Harvey good lird poor harvey! He’s probably the most sober out of everyone. It doesnt help that he’s no light weight + lowkey becomes designated baby sitter everytime (he’s soooooooo going charge them extra in the morning if they come stumbling into his clinic asking for some hangover cure). He was so excited about adding a new song to CPR tempo list he was gonna teach at the nex first aid classes!! Who would have thought that a singer with a cute wholesome name like Cupcakke was just so… sooooo SCANDALOUS!!! He should have known Sam was up to something the moment he grabbed him by the shoulder!!! “This is medical malpractice, Samson!!!” He spends the whole trying to sush Sam who’s having so much fun laughing at Harvey’s reaction 😂

Days are hectic for me but nonetheless, I would very much like to touch up on your tips and advice you have when writing for Luis. I loved him in the remake, and I would very much love to do him justice in some form of written work!

I Must admit I’m not really an expert nor am I much of a profession fanfic writer or anything- I only do it for fun!!!! So if you want something like, more specific PLEASE pretty please feel free to ask I’d be more than happy to help!!!! But in terms of general tips and tricks??? Here’s a few that I have under the cut!!!

As weird as this is gonna sound a lot of time I’ll just go and watch Luis’ voice actor André Peña’s streams on Twitch to try and pick up on lil mannerisms or speech quirks that get shown in-game!!!! If I can find an example I’ll put it here, but just generally picking up on what Luis would theoretically sound like if he were talking in a casual conversation helps me out!!!!! (Also he’s just in general a very lovely guy and his twitch streams are always fun so I reccomended them if you’re able to catch one!!!)

On a similar note, if you’re watching any cutscenes and any small characteristic sticks out to you- use that to your advantage!!!! I’ve always noticed how he kinda smiles differently when in different situations/levels of stress/talking to different people so I use that to my advantage when writing scenes with him!!!!

OR OR EVEN, if you’re able to and have the time, go look at older livestreams where the cast talk about their roles in RE4R and see what André has to say about Luis!!!!!! I’m more than happy to link the streams once I can find them again if you want!!!!!!!!! Seeing the actors be so genuine and passionate about the characters and putting their whole selves into the role truly does make them feel just so,,,, h u m a n <<<<33

Also, I know everyone and their mother says this, but research truly does help!!!!! There’s a LOT of things people miss about his character if you only view him on a surface-level or go into his character assuming he’s just a cardboard cutout ‘bad-guy-turned-good’ Typa character, so reading analysis posts on him to get a better idea of why he does what he does and how he is as a person will really help!!!! (Obviously I’ve got my own posts under the tag #luisposting or #othersposts, but the lovely @blveherb has some amazing posts of their own I can’t recommend enough!!!!)

There’s a LOOOOOOT of just. Very incorrect misinformation out there HXNSUSJ (staring at you resident evil fan wiki. Staring at you. VERY HARD) so if you ever come across a post that seems to only lean towards a negative view of Luis as a character or never gives him the benefit of the doubt,,,, it most likely won’t have been made with good taste in mind or properly researched HCNEHENDUDJ

Also also also, looking for things that he was directly inspired by!!!!!! I C A N N O T make this post without mentioning the 1957 Don Quixote film- it’s free on YouTube and it is SOOOOOO SOSOSOSOSOSOSO GOOD!!!!! Capcom TRULY put their all into the Don Quixote symbolism in his character and if you’re able to get your hands on a copy of the book, it’s well worth the read!!!

AGAIN on a similar note- looking at his culture and history is SOOOOOOOO important!!!! For example, the beginning of Seperate Ways features Luis doing a style of Flamenco called ‘Seguiriyas’- and once I’m awake in the morning and fully able to navigate the horror of the tumblr tagging system I’ll look for a post that goes deeper into this HCNEHWNEUDJDIS but Indigenous and Spanish culture are full of such rich and beautiful history you can pull from it is SO worth taking a look!!! Not to mention, you can play around with the fact that Luis was raised pretty Hardcore Catholic or the fact that it’s implied his Grandfather fought in/would have survived the Spanish Civil war as concepts a ton!!!

And if you’re writing specifically for Serennedy, taking a look at the Queer history of Spain/Europe as a whole is DEFINITELY worth your time!!!!! Looking back and remembering the people who came before us is always important and lends a hand to how we perceive our own funny lil fictional guys BCBEHENEJDNXJ

That being said, I only ever see this with writers who already have bigoted views and you seem like literally the nicest person EVERRRRRR so this TOTALLY isn’t directed at you!!!!!! But it’s super important not to fall into just straight-up racist stereotypes- calling Luis a predator, saying he’s a sex-driven animal, generally referring to him as ‘dirty’ etc is stuff that unfortunately you don’t JUST see with Luis but with many other POC characters too (like Carlos for example- he gets the brunt of it a LOT) so when you see stuff like this, don’t be afraid to call it out!!!!!!

I mean I like msp. It's fun and light hearted and all. There are also some great moments that I like. And GeminiFourth are amazing. TinnGun are good in there own way. But I will be really triggered if when (some) people say its better than bbs. Because it most definitely is not. I can't even begin to compare it to the amount of love and Dept of the character arcs of PatPran. It is a funny light hearted good high school romance which can be enjoyable for a watch.

And to be honest (it may sound extremely controversial) msp ki more like 2gether than bad buddy. (Runs to hide in a hole).

No need to thank me, anon! You're really cute. And it saddens me a little that you might be feeling like you have to stay anonymous because otherwise the fandom would hate on you for daring to have a different, unpopular opinion - if that's not your reason, then please forgive me for assuming it was; but if it is, it's genuinely not worth it to be 'intimidated' by people who can't deal with other povs, and just blindly appreciate medias with flaws, without accepting the idea that you can love a media with flaws and still point them out (I don't think Bad Buddy itself is perfect by any means, for example). With BLs, this happens more often than not, because apparently pretty cisgender boys aren't easily seen as criticisable - who would have thought!

I don't even wanna dive in into the 'Tinn is a green-flag' topic all that much (sure, he's a good boyfriend, even too good at times, but he does abuse his power in school just to benefit his own boyfriend, and this issue is presented as comic relief despite being actually a serious matter - although it might understandably not be one in the eyes of a 16/17 yo). The point is not to determine whether or not he's a green flag - it's also a pretty subjective topic, in my opinion -: we just shouldn't go as far as to compare characters that were written in very different ways.

Tinn and Gun are simple characters, literal characters who spell out every single emotion they're feeling, and who are cute and good people in their core, and who make you laugh while you're watching them do stuff on screen. That's all they are, and it's not like they're even trying to be something more. And that's okay!

Pat and Pran are complex characters. Bad Buddy is written with heavy and competent use of the 'show, don't tell' method. There's so much more to them and their backstory than what we see/what they explicitly tell us. Pat is a green flag, sure, but Pat was also a bully, and it's never explained to us why he became one (he even got a reputation as one to be wary or scared of, and someone 'cold'), and why he suddenly stopped with the violence and the bullying as soon as Pran came back home, because they don't have to tell you: they show you. You know why Pat became someone like that, and you know why he suddenly 'changes' as soon as Pran is around him once again (in a way, Pat does tell you, eventually, in episode 5, when he says everything was so 'depressingly lonely' for him, you connect the dots, you understand, but not because Pat ever goes out of his way to tell Pran how his absence made him feel so angry and empty that he had to take it out on someone else not to implode). This is just one example. The whole show works like that.

Which is why I never understood the parallel between the two dramas at all, to be honest (I know MSP itself made references to BB, but still). It's like comparing a portrait made by a kid, cute and fun and full of color, to something made by an artist with talent and years of experience. You just... wouldn't, would you? It wouldn't even be fair to the kid, to be honest.

Also, getting back to something I was talking about in my other post... You know how everything that Tinn did for Gun that Gun wasn't aware of (he was aware of a lot of stuff, but not of everything that Tinn did behind the scenes) was revealed to Gun in one of the most anticlimatic moments I've ever seen in fiction? And you know how that had Gun realize how true and deep Tinn's feelings for him are?

Right, I think that's a little fucked up, to be honest, because he shouldn't need to know all those things - not to mention from the mouth of another person - to be fully aware of Tinn's love for him. But it's like the narrative wants you to believe that he did need that, and therefore there's your little deus ex machina ready to explain and narrate every single thing that happened without Gun being able to notice as it did.

And I was kind of comparing all of that to what happens in episode 3 of BB, where Pat has the Professor re-admitting them in the University activities just for him and Pran to be able to compete again against each other, for them to do something together - and, ultimately, for Pran to be able to play and sing in front of a crowd, because he knows how much he loves that. Nobody ever had to tell Pran about this, nor Pat, nor the Professor, nor anyone. That's something Pat did because he wanted to do it, not because he's supposed to get something in return and therefore should be known to Pran so that he can add it to the list of things Pat did for him.

As much as Pat is also a huge simp, and one whose love language is definitely acts of service, he stands his ground when he needs to, you never get the feeling that he does too much for Pran compared to what Pran does for him, because he's well aware that Pran just shows him his love in different ways - and we see those ways portrayed on screen. It's super balanced and equal, even though it might look otherwise from the outside, even though Pran himself could get insecure about it and worry that Pat might be too selfless in their relationship compared to him (kind of the whole point of the specials, in a way). But it's never presented as a problem, because it isn't. Because Pat's needs and desires are respected and vocalized in their relationship and he's happy with how things are, with the way Pran loves him. And with this I'm not saying Tinn's aren't, I'm just saying I don't think we get to see enough of it to assert they are.

I'm also not trying to say that TinnGun are toxic while PatPran are perfect, because I believe TinnGun work nicely together, and I do believe they're a cute, sweet couple by all means. I'm mostly referring to the storytelling as a single example of why imo these two shows should not be compared at all.

I saw you finished bg3, I'm too much of a baby to go past the second act : ( I've finished it but I've heard the third act isn't as good as the first two, can you share your thoughts? Spoiler free ideally, just... Did you like the third act? How did it compare to the first two? Just wondering as a person who has a chronic inability to finish things because of the risk of a disappointing ending 😭

OUGH I FEEL YOU, i put off finishing act 3 forever, i just kept doing sidequests and exploring , but first of all

act 3 is very badly optimized. even if you have the best PC ever or if ur playing on console, combat in act 3 will take a loooooooooong time bc the city is soo badly optimized. its not about frame drops or anything like that, its just that enemies most of the time will take forever to calculate their first move. someone told me its bc they're targeting unseen enemies or even targeting all of the superfluous items in the city which makes getting thru combat a CHORE. i dont know when they will fix it, i know they keep patching the game as they go but when i played it , it was a misery.

not to mention in act 3 theres just. so much fucking shit to do. good lord. in act 1 and act 2 i was sooo happy to explore and do everything but in act 3 it was just tiring. taking frequent breaks from the game might be beneficial as it was for me

in terms of quests/encounters in act 3 - a bit of hit and miss. in act 1 i think i enjoyed every single quest (but that could've been from the game being brand new in my mind still). in act 3, there are some fun ones (dribbles the clown im looking at you... or the quest where you have to intercept a newspaper article about you from hitting the press) but there are also some that r like ... ok..idc...

THAT SAID, i dont regret finishing it, at first i had a lot of issues with the companions bc none of them stood out to me but they're very malleable if u give them time - that is to say, they can have ambitions that align with your own personal story and that makes it fun, its like ur a team going towards a similar goal. i think that's why i was so motivated to finish, i had a concept for my player character from the start (paladin that breaks their oath bc of the circumstances and then fully embraces the no gods, no masters life by seizing total control) and i had to see it UNFOLD on da screen... and tbh i was very happy with the result, it felt like watching a movie of story plucked from my head

in terms of final fight - EH. it was very easy to me but i was on balanced difficulty so it had the right to be easy.

OH ALSO THE ENTIRE RAPHAEL QUEST WHERE U BREAK INTO HIS HOUSE IS SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOD THAT ENTIRE AREA IS SOOOO GOOOOOOOODODODODODODODOOOOODDDD ! ! !! i think i would recommend act 3 if only to play that part

as for the other 2 baddies (orin and gortash) - they didn't bang for me but there was some depth to both of them that maybe i would've gotten to enjoy if i didn't decide to kill em hehe

anyways, im rambling - the point is, the ending is really what you make it so if you picked choices that were fun to you, the ending should be fun as well. in terms of combat/boss fight mechanics etc, i found it too easy to enjoy. raphael boss fight, now that was a fun encounter. OVERALL, i think i recommend act 3 but maybe wait until its optimized? also get ready for a massive amount of content but just know you can skip things!!

OMG its SOOOO GREAT to find someone who loves isaac as much as me!!!! ^w^ the comic has been soooo unfair to him like. we havent even seen him in like 16 WHOLE MONTHS (╥_╥) but he was SOOOOOOOO DEDICATED to max when he talked to the doorman. the MOMENT the doorman implied that max was in danger and made it clear he wasnt going to anything to protect him, isaac cut times with him (◡‿◡✿) i love imaax and hate bullymagnet. i cant believe there are ppl out there who want an entire chapter dedicated to that johnny guy

Hey y/n, when are you gonna get here? Nashvilles boring without our sunshine

You picked up your phone after hearing it buzz, the message being from Josh. Your best friend who happens to be a famous singer for a famous band that is currently touring. You’ve known him and his brothers (including Danny) ever since they made the big move to Nashville. It all started at a small coffee shop around the corner from your apartment. You had just set down all your stuff after picking up your order from the counter, when the group came in. They just had a vibe about them, one that you were intoxicated by. You watched them on and off as they bought their respective drinks and settled into one of the big couches. Before you knew what you were doing you shut your laptop and walked over to them, it was a rare moment of confidence but once they realized you were coming over to them you knew you couldn’t turn back.  “I just wanted to say y’all have cool vibes, and nice peace sign necklace, I have one just like it.” You said pointing to who you now know as Danny. “Well thank you for the wonderful compliment of our vibes!” The one with the curly hair said dramatically, just before the one with dark hair could respond.  His smile was infectious, something that could easily light up a room.  “You are very welcome!” You said with an equally dramatic tone. Turning to walk away you hear a “Hey, wait! You should come sit with us, we’re not too familiar with the city.” The one with long hair said. He looked almost identical to the one with curly hair. “Oh uh, sure! Gimme a sec,” you went to grab your things, quickly running through every possible scenario of what could happen in your head. What’s the worst that could happen? Making that decision to sit with them was the best decision you had made in awhile, you all became fast friends and you were more than happy to support them in their musical endeavors. You got especially close with Josh and spent most of your time with him, you started to consider him your platonic soulmate. However, being close with him allowed him to find out a huge secret of yours, that you liked his brother. “No fucking way, you like Sam?” He said drunkenly. We went through a whole bottle of wine and he was obviously feeling it. “No dingus, I like Jake.” You blushed putting your hands to your face. The shock on his face freaked you out, but the shock was quickly replaced with one of his signature smiles. “You need to tell him! He’s been crushing on you since forever. It’s getting annoying for everyone to deal with.” You rolled your eyes at the comment.  “I don’t believe you, at all.”  “Too bad, guess you’ll never have Jakey boy”

You read Josh’s text and quickly responded telling him you’d be over in a minute. To say you were nervous was an understatement, you were practically shitting yourself at the thought of seeing Jake. You quickly finished putting all of your jewelry on and saying goodbye to Bonnie, the small dog you had rescued from the shelter last July. Jake was there with you, and it was the last time you had seen him in person. Y’all tried to keep in touch but between his touring schedule and your work schedule, you haven’t talked to him in a few weeks. You walked out the door and quickly started up your car, heading towards their house. You plugged your phone into the aux cable and shuffled your playlist, a mix of Orville Peck and Arctic Monkeys playing through your speakers. You tried to mentally prepare yourself to see them, but seeing as the drive to their house from your apartment was 10 minutes, you didn’t have enough time to get rid of all the anxiety that plagued you. You pulled into their driveway and instantly all of the memories y’all had shared together came flooding back. Danny driving you home from a drunken night at their house, Josh and you having deep talks on the porch at 1am, Sam and you hotboxing your car, and finally Jake and you going to the store to buy god knows what. You were blasting music and had all the windows down, the thick southern heat swarming around you. That night was when you knew deep down that you were in love with him.  You got out of the car and knocked on the door, excited yet nervous to see everyone behind it. “Y/n! It’s so good to see you.” Josh wrapped his arms around you, picking you up and swinging you around a little. “I missed you too Josh” You said with a laugh. You walked further in the house and quickly hugged everyone. Their hugs were top-tier, something you definitely missed when they went on tour. It was finally Jake’s turn to hug you, and it was the warmest one of them all. “I missed you y/n, I’m sorry for not texting you more.” “I missed you too Jake, and truly don’t worry about it, I understand your busy rockstar schedule.” You said as you roll your eyes, faking annoyance. “You know, if I had the chance to talk to you all day while I was on tour, I would’ve taken it.” What he said took you by surprise, was he trying to be romantic or was it fully platonic? You struggled to find words, but finally landed on “I would have come if you had asked.” Finally you looked around the two of you, realizing that everyone has migrated to the kitchen. He must’ve noticed too as he motioned for you to go in front of him towards everyone. When you walked into the kitchen everyone was standing around the island talking. There were a couple more people there, mainly friends with some family mixed in. You went with Jake towards the fridge knowing they would probably have some cheap beer, you weren’t in the mood for anything stronger. “So, how’s it been while touring?” You said as he handed you beer. “It’s been good, it’s kind of weird coming back and not having much to do. It’s good seeing everyone here though, I missed being around people that aren’t my brothers or the crew.” You nodded. While he was talking y’all had ended up sitting on the porch. He started to share stories about the tour, most of which seemed unbelievable. After talking for a few hours (and many drinks later) the conversation had taken a turn towards relationships.  “There’s no way you didn’t find anyone while on tour? You went all over the world! Plus you’re a rockstar, so it’s probably easy for you to get a girl.”  “Nope, didn’t want any of them. Don’t get me wrong, there were many girls that wanted me, but none caught my eye” He said with a cocky grin. “You seeing anyone?” You shook your head no. You didn’t want to see anyone unless they were him, but there was no way that was going to happen. “Why not?” “None caught my eye I guess.” You said repeating what he said earlier.  “I guess there is one person who I kind of think is cool. In a relationship way.” The words tumbled out of your mouth before thinking about them. You had many worries about how this could play out, but alcohol is considered liquid courage for a reason. “Really? Well now you gotta tell me.” You froze, you knew he was going to ask it, but the small amount of confidence you had faded quickly, and you suddenly realized the full consequences that could come with this. He may never want to be friends again. He may feel the same. Our friendship may be awkward because of this. Will I lose everyone if he rejects me? “Well don’t pussy out on me now Y/n” He said with a laugh. “Nevermind, they don’t matter.” “You don’t get to back out that easily. Tell me who it is?” The s in “is” was drawn out. You shook your head. “C’mon y/n! You can’t just not tell me now. I’ll tell you who I like!”  “Deal, but close your eyes.” He looked at you weird but then agreed, shutting his eyes.  “I’m so sorry if I ruin things by doing this.” You said as you leaned in and gently pecked his lips. His eyes shot open and you immediately push yourself back, saying as many apologies as you could. He pulled you back in and gave you a much more passionate kiss, one that was much needed. Your worries faded away. When y’all finally separated you heard whoops and hollers from the kitchen. Your face flushed pink but despite the audience you went back for one more kiss.

also lmao my new foray into trohleyworld has been unexpected but very fun - I just think character wise it makes a lot of sense for joe to seek out that dynamic and I love writing relationships where like. some parts of them just Work but some are kind of fundamentally incompatible. it's so much fun

Insecure hanako!

It was a basic day hanako said to himself

Exept he is all alone

In the bathroom

Waiting for the the next day to start so he can see his boyfriend kou again

For some reason this time it felt like a WEEK has passed and not 4hours

So he decided to go take a walk at the garden to clear off his mind

While he was outside he was not able to think straight because all he could think of is kou

He barely started to visit for cleaning duty with yashiro

Because he was too busy hanging with another ghost

Or sometimes he leaves earlier with yashiro to go somewhere fun

He mumbled to himself.

„Ofcourse. Whats so fun in hanging out at school“

Was he not good enough?,was he getting boring? He hopes that this isn’t the case

He wished that he could also go outside with them. To the beach.park.Restaurants.

But he just HAD to be cursed by not being able to leave the school

He didn’t even realize that the sun is starting to rise

He was too deep in his awful thoughts

But after snapping out of it he went back to the school into the girls bathroom

„4 more hours“

It’s Friday so they had a short day today

Just as all the kids started to enter the school he was on his way to greet both of them

He didn’t see yashiro „probably is late“ he thought to himself

But then his eyes landed on kou

He was about to approach him until he saw him

Mitsuba. One of kou‘s friends

Guess he was faster than him..

Not wanting to „disturb“ these two he decided that he should go.

„2 more hours….should i?“

He was unsure if he should go visit kou

He did miss him so he went

„You’ve got to be kidding me“

Why is He there again.

He is so damn CLINGY

He didn’t try to make a move on kou though right?

A small panic ran through his mind

And without thinking straight he just went up to these two

They both look at hanako

„Oh hanako! How are you? Ive missed you!“

Mitsuba just stayed quiet not wanting to say anything to the other ghost

Missed him huh? If he really did then he wouldn’t have avoided him so much

„Uhm yeah hey kou.im ok.ive missed you too„

„Oh by the way is it okay if we won’t do the cleaning duty today? Me and yashiro promised to meet up at her place today“

Again?.

How long will this all keep going?!!?

„Ah well can’t you like dunno skip it on another day? You know its very VEEERRRY lonely being allllll alone here~“

„Oh come on you wont die from boredom. And besides its pretty important to me.“

„Fine fine. I have to talk to you later anyway. So I’ll see you at lunch“

„A-actually i promised to go take pictures with mitsuba at lunchtime“

Hearing that made hanako snap on the inside

He quickly turned around to the pink ghost giving him a death glare

„Is that so?…“

„I-I UHM ACTUALLY HAVE SOME THINGS TO DO dont hurt me SO SORRY KOU WE CANT MEET UP UHM BYE“

This sudden reaction made kou startle a little

„uhm bye? See you.“

„Soooooooo still busy?????“

„Well not anymore hah“

„GREAT“

He hugged kou tightly happy that he can spend time with him

This made kou blush a little by his sudden hug but he still hugged back

„Can you let go? People are starting to look weirdly at me“

„Just five more minutes❤️“

As expected kou went to the bathroom to meet up with hanako

Just as he entered he was already greeted with a kiss on his cheek

„Hahha you should’ve seen your face!“

He was right kou‘s face looked super funny. He was red like a tomato!

„YOU DAMN BASTARDS THATS CHEATING“

„Nope. No it wasn’t ~“

Kou just mumbled some light hearted curse words while hanako was laughing

„ hahahh…ah Ive missed this“

„What do you mean by that?“

Crap

Hanako frowned and took kou‘s hand

„Listen this might sound selfish from me but…“

Kou was feeling intense at this moment

„I’ve been feeling as if im not good enough for you“

Ok help the poor boy he is about to have a Heart attack

„Maybe you should find someone e-„

Kou quickly grabbed hanako‘s other hand

„DONT YOU DARE SAY THAT“

Hanako was taken back by his sudden rising voice

„Hanako.you mean a lot to me.i don’t know what made you feel that you aren’t good enough but i will do my best to make you never EVER feel like that“

These words almost made hanako tear up

„Its just. Why would you be with someone who can’t even leave the school“

Kou just suddenly hugged hanako

„I understand what you mean.mitsuba also told me how much this suck-…no this is isnt about him right now.“

He pushed hanako slightly to look him in the eyes

„always stuck to the school or not.i dont care.ghost or human.i dont care. Ive fallen for your personality.and all the adventures we’ve had“

„I love you and only you hanako“

Hanako was speechless

„He just hugged him back but this time more tightly

„I know idiot.i love you too“

The Dragon Prince Book 4 Review:

Just writing down my longer thoughts. It's not like this show will be back this year anyway so.

Pros:

Janaya. My crops were watered. I love delving into Janai's character a bit and showcasing her trials and tribulations as the Sunfire Queen, along with the social dynamic of marrying a human. It's cute seeing Amaya support Janai through her troubles too. I was really hoping the show would showcase the troubles of humans and Elves integrating on a larger scale and not just end with "humans and Sunfire Elves are cool now, let's focus on the 5 other tribes that hate humans" and I'm glad they delivered.

Magefam, but more importantly, Claudia, stole the show. She has stepped up in her villainy and while (thankfully) kept her immaturity and, it's fun to see her slowly become crueler as well. The new spells she used were really good and really made her a threat to the cast and a joy to watch. Also they gave her a different outlook outside of trying to keep her family together (because daddy issues can only take you so far) with her actually believing Aaravos, whereas Viren was always just using him for power.

Terry, full stop. My fear was that Terry would have nothing to him and be an obvious Soren replacement, but, Terry has no real need to impress Viren and somewhat impresses Viren by just being himself. It's a breath of fresh air for the Magefam dynamic, because Soren couldn't impress Viren without becoming someone he's not, and Claudia is his spitting image as a mage, albeit sillier, so even at her worst he'll still love her. Its both heartwarming and heartbreaking that Terry has a closer bond with Viren than Season 1 Soren did (I don't think he likes either BUT he's groaning less with Terry).

It's fun seeing Viren essentially go "Are we the baddies?" to Claudia, who at the very least has murdered people by now.

Ezran has grown so much its unreal. Its very prominent in the 2nd episode with Ezran really wanting to have a whole "and then we all held hands and forgot we've been trying to murder each other for centuries" energy for Zubeia & Zym, it amounts to what a 10-year old's expectation of resolving such a deep-seated conflict, but then stepping up and acknowledging that what he was doing was unrealistic, you cannot just forget about the pain and the damage and the loss and pretend nothing bad happened to strive for peace, you have to remember all of those negative emotions and still strive for peace anyways because you will inevitably just keep causing that same pain for future generations. That boy was raised right.

Rex Igneous is so good. Love the way he was bored of visitors and tore down Avizandum. To me he feels like he's indifferent to humans, whereas Avizandum, Sol Regem, and Zubeia probably were anti-human. Makes me wonder how the Tideblood & Moonshadow Archdragon will act.

Sad that Aaravos had to leave the show for a while to hype his return but him making fun of all the heroes before smashing his own mirror is soooooooo worth it. He knows how important presentation is for villains. I do wonder if that means that Aaravos' consciousness was transferred to Sir Sparklepuff and he didn't want the heroes to wonder why he's braindead in that mirror.

Cons:

I mean I could go on an episode-to-episode basis but uh:

The entire season feels like a first draft, which is disappointing after waiting for 3 years. Overall it's a downgrade compared to Seasons 2 and 3, and at times even worse than Season 1. There are still things I enjoyed but honestly this is the show's worst outing.

The pacing, particularly the Drakewood episodes, are cramped. It doesn't breathe. Character interactions that SHOULD have happened here (Callum & Rayla, Soren & Viren) but didn't because we had other things to address. I get it, but you can't repeat the emotions that could follow Soren after being abandoned by Rayla and captured, stripped of his armor, berated by Claudia that everyone else is treating him like a joke, meeting his dad that makes him feel small and unwanted. Especially when this will be the nicest Viren will ever be in all 7 seasons. I can only hope it was a deleted scene and moved later on so the words can sink in.

Soren being missing and possibly dead or gravely hurt should have raised the stakes and tension for the original Dragang. Instead it feels like a complete afterthought by the start of the next episode.

Rayla.....oof. Disappointing on all accounts. For such a setup of her going on a revenge quest (in a show where revenge quests just cause even more damage) by abandoning her newfound family it's anti-climactic. It's a good thing that they didn't have Rayla come back with info, since that would justify that it was a good thing Rayla left. Most of this season felt like Rayla tagging along for the ride rather than Rayla being one of the main characters.

Maybe it didn't click for me, but, like, alot of the Rayllum scenes didn't have the bite that comes with your ex coming back into your life after ghosting you. There was no emotional catharsis for both. Ultimately their breakup and reunion did not fix any flaw either of them had, so it is functionally meaningless.

Culturally insensitive Amaya works. Culturally insensitive Amaya that is the fiance of the Sunfire Queen does not. The plot makes more sense coming from an Amaya that's either recently dating Janai or pining for her and has recently begun living in the Lux Aurea camps, but it looks like she's been living with Sunfire Elves since the end of Season 3? Not knowing their mourning ritual when this was done en masse following the Fall of Lux Aurea when she was quite literally there? Engaged to the Sunfire Queen? Make it make sense. I'm also not expecting that Amaya should be well-researched into Sunfire culture eithrr, but there needs to be a balance in what Amaya should know and what she shouldn't.

Really disappointed that the other human kingdoms didn't exist this season. Both in the case that Ezran can now do what he wants instead of having to balance between leading a Kingdom and adventuring with Callum & Rayla (which was cool to spin in Book 2 and 3), but also that I think it would be important to highlight that there are just as many factions of humans as there are of elves. Just because 1 kingdom is cool with Elves and Dragons doesn't mean the rest are. Granted the humans seem to be more unified than the Elves, as no other Elves are helping the Sunfire Elves rebuild, so maybe I'm making a mountain out of a molehill. But I still think Ezran should be making policies ALONG with the rest of the Kingdoms rather than just Katollis like how Viren was doing it, even if the end result will just be Ezran running off again.

The season finale is both anticlimactic and confusing, and neither are in a good way. Are the Dragang supposed to end the season without the map so they have to chase the Magefam first? Is that why Rex threw a huge temper tantrum last minute? Why does his trust of the Dragang stay at 0 even after Zubeia calms him down? Is the plot of the show (fate of the world) hinging on the cast not wanting to disturb Rex again? HUH?

Its A windy day in the Hundred Acre Wood

So I am used to this being part of a feature,the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ,I had never seen it on its own before.....And I think it works better as part of a film but it is an enjoyable short with memorable performance by Sterling Holloway , Paul Winchell and John Fiedler , as well as introducing Tigger and having the wonderfully weird Hefalumps and Woozles sequence

6.Three Little Pigs

The classic tale of Three Little Pigs

Great villain in the Big Bad Wolf ,good telling of the story , and that song is catchy as hell.Definately my favorite of the 30's shorts

5.Geris Game

An old man plays chess with himself

Always been fond of this one since I was young ,its such a fun premise

4.Lend a Paw

Pluto is jealous of a kitten

I like the use of the devil and the angel trope in this one ,and it is just a solid Pluto cartoon

3.Toot,Whistle Plunk and Boom

An owl teaches us of the basics used in music

I love the use of a style more akin to that used over in UPA,and it is just such fun concept.I really had fun with this one and it looks amazing

2.Piper

A baby sandpiper must overcome her fear of water

Visually stunning and SOOOOOOOO DARN CUTE

1.Its Tough to Be A Bird

A bird explains the influence and troubles of birds

I was charmed by this short.It has a very loose style to it ,its very funny and the voice acting by Richard Bakalyan is just superb.This was the easy winner for me
