It’s bullshit that mental illness takes years to learn to fight but mere days to rear it’s ugly head.

#personal shit #mental illness #I’m having a rough time today #just.. overloaded with depression and shaking with anxiety #it’s not supposed to be like this #I take my meds #I talk to my counselor #I never miss an appointment with my doctor #and yet #here we are #now of all times #when my doctor is not just a phone call away #because she left #and I’ll be seeing someone new #but not until September #so I don’t even know who to reach out to

so just to check

in the last five days i have

gotten the worst sunburn of my entire life which is now causing me to be in a spectacular amount of pain, apparently developed some kind of nerve condition, gotten sun poisoning, gotten hives at least six times, gotten a fish hook stuck in my finger, been exposed to lice

and now i probably have covid

remembering one of the times i was getting evaluated by a therapist to determine if i was "really trans" or not or whatever and he was like "so if you transitioned to male, how would you dress differently?"

and i was like "i.. dont know. I wouldnt?"

and he looked at me blankly and wrote something down and said "really? you wouldnt wear anything more masculine?"

and i realized i'd given the wrong answer so I just said "I would... wear... suits?"

and he smiled and wrote something else down like "ah! yes"

was talking with a friend about how some of dunmeshi fаndom misunderstands kabru's initial feelings towards laios.

to sum up kabru's situation via a self-contained modernized metaphor:

kabru is like a guy who lost his entire family in a highly traumatic car accident. years later he joins a discord server and takes note of laios, another server member who seems interesting, so they start chatting. then laios reveals his special interest and favorite movie of all time is David Cronenberg's Crash (1996), and invites kabru to go watch a demolition derby with him

does anyone have like an anti aesthetic. like something you look at and can recognize as a complete fashion/interior design/artistic movement and understand it but it makes you shudder seeing it. i am not talking like “its morally bad” “its poorly structured” like just sheerly devoid of joy for you actually invites a repulse response.

#also if it wasnt clear this isnt ‘its bad its lazy’ there is a level of like #completion consistancy i am thinking for with this #personally i really do not enjoy the like. vintage chic long red nails fur coats noir esque aesthetic HOWEVER 💥💥💥#i can recognize that it is put together it is Intentional #i feel like a lot of people are going to say minimalism on this so LET ME SAY 🫰☝️ i recognize that minimalism is Considered an aesthetic #but i *PERSONALLY* do not consider it an aesthetic i consider it the void of one #it is a lapse in aesthetic or personality in the same way a silence in a song is still technically a ‘beat’ but no music is played #however the importance of Space or Breath in design is more akin to a purposeful silence in music #because that silence matters in the same way rhythm and breath in design do #so i guess minimalism is more comparable to like. white noise. the sound of a fan #very little effort and there is a comfort in it i suppose but its not. A Design. okay #TO ME 🤫#if minimalism has one hater its me if minimalism has no haters im dead
