I couldn't stop thinking about an AU where Daniel resorts to gathering vitae again, this time to 'cure' Hazel, after his Brennenburg adventure💫, thoughts all mainly derived from this loadscreen text that tells us that Hazel is still in hospice care by the time the game's story began.
As much as I love Daniel, I don't think he really learned all that much from his experience even in the most charitable ending towards him in which he saves Agrippa. I can very, VERY easily see him slipping back into old ways if it meant saving Hazel. The most he seems to approach viewing torture as bad is when he realizes he himself no longer counts as an innocent so he can't justify killing others to save himself anymore. But killing no good, horrible, bad people to save HAZEL? Now, we're cooking with gas 😀 💀

(not a request, just some thoughts to ponder! godspeed regarding exams dear elle <3)
Thinking about ploy!marauders x reader who get together after Harry's been born? I would think that Remus and Sirius would have been together since school. But reader's always been stuck pining after her loves who were all already in relationships.
But once James and Lily separate the dynamic shifts and I can totally picture Sirius throwing it out there that they should all give being together a good go. James and Lily are still good friends, happily co-parenting.
Just stuck on the idea of what you think the reader and marauders role in raising Harry would be? would they be auntie and uncles? or function more like step-parents? And when James has Harry for the week how would that change their routine? Curious to hear your thoughts!

so this isn't a fic but this is an inside look on how a lot of my fics are formulated 🤣😭
okay so I always hate the idea of Lily and James separating 😭 so either it was super amicable OR maybe Harry was the result of a drunken hook up between the two friends?? (before Jamie was with the other Marauders)
either way, I totally think the other's would have a parental/step-parent role. Like if the boys weren't called papa (Sirius) or da (Remus) etc, he'd certainly be like "at my house with my daddy and my moony and my pads!" and Pandora (I love me some good Pandalily) would be 'ma' and Lily was mummy.
So where @unstablereader and I went wild was maybe reader was our whimsical reader? And when Harry was quite young (toddler) and Siri & Jamie were aurors (so would be at work) and in a Voldemort free au we figured maybe Rem would start teaching earlier? That reader would watch Harry for them when it was Jamie's week with their son
And the boys were all obviously in love with her but none of them did anything about it yet. So we imagined this happening during one of Lily & James' exchanges or parent dates:
Lily: so, Y/N's been around a lot lately, yeah?
James: oh yeah she's amazing; I mean, three of us and still our household would probably crash and burn if not for her
Lily: *knowing smirk*, hm, so when are you guys going to make it official?
James: I beg your pardon?
Lily: please, Potter. I see the way you blokes look at her
James: no no, it's not like that... *not convincing at all*
Lily: James. Do you know what Harry calls her?
James:........
Lily: he calls her "lovie". in fact, he calls her "his lovie". He thinks that's her name, James.
James:......
Lily: he said, and I quote, "I was at home with my daddy, and my papa, and my da, and my lovie!"
James:......
Lily: listen here; I have eyes, potter. and if she's as lovely as you're saying she is, you three better snatch her up before panda and I do.
then we imagined that maybe Sirius and Rem were close by
Sirius: *barges in out of no where* NO RED PLEASE YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO US
Remus: Sorry guys, I tried to tell him to leave you guys to it. But now that we're here: Lils, please have mercy. The three of us can compete with you and Pandora???
Lily: you guys have a week and then fair's fair.
so a week later when Lily comes by to pick Harry up and reader is there
Lily: *sultry* hello darling
y/n: Hello Lily! You know, if you'd asked first I would've said yes
Lily: well if they don't treat you right, you know where to find us
*James & Sirius come racing over*
James: lovie, step away from the door right now
Sirius: no more talking to Evans unsupervised
*Remus walks in with Harry on his hip*

Takemichi- He is so confused, nervously calls out your name??? Internally panics that this somehow has something to do with time leaping or the other stuff he doesn't understand. He grabs your hand and shakes it like he does with Naoto, thinking this might make it stop? Now you're the confused one.
Mikey- Quickly swallows the rest of the taiyaki he was eating and jumps into action! But he can't see an enemy??? Figures it could be an impulse type thing and hugs you instead, trying to make you calm down.
Draken- Shouts "WHERE!? WHERE!?" He has no idea how to fight something he can't see so he just picks you up instead and holds you up in the air, figuring whatever it is can't reach you.
Naoto- Thinks it's a ghost, he's read about this in his occult books. Luckily he has some salt on him, throws it in the direction you're being attacked.
Baji- Doesn't even question it just starts swinging at the air, he even attacks the air for a solid 5 minutes after you've stopped. He just got too into the "fight" to notice it's "over".
Chifuyu- Frowns and whips his head around, looking for the attacker. After he doesn't see anyone, he shrugs and starts punching in the direction you're trying to fight in. Of course he'll protect you! ....even if he can't see the threat.
Mitsuya- Get's in between you and the "enemy" and sternly looks at the air, telling it "that's enough". You're too bewildered at how he told off the imaginary friend to continue.
Hakkai- Tries to get in between you and the imaginary friend so he can take the hits instead. Swears he actually felt a punch, even after you tell him he wasn't real.
Pah- Rubs his eyes a lot, thinking he has a problem. Still charges in to try and save you, tells you to step back so he can take care of it.
Peh- Yells a lot and throws all kinds of insults at the imaginary friend while trying to stop them.
Smiley- "you wanna die!?" He jumps into the fight real quick, he's been wanting an excuse all day. Unfortunately he thinks the closest guy to you is the one who did it, so he ends up chasing after a random guy.
Angry- "are you ok?" He's so concerned, hates the idea of anyone hurting you. He grabs your hand and runs, trying to get you both away from whatever that was.
Mucho- Raises an eyebrow at you and pulls you away from the direction of the "fight". Instead holding you in his arms to keep you safe.
Sanzu- Grabs his katana and starts slashing at the air while laughing, you have no idea where he got that katana from.
Kazutora- "Huh!?" He gets mad at the imaginary friend and quickly fights back against it, throwing a mixture of punches and kicks. He's so mad that anyone would dare to hurt his lover.
Hanma- Matches your energy, goes "bang bang" with an imaginary gun before throwing an imaginary grenade at them. Once it's over, he happily walks away with you and says the two of you should do that again next week.
Kisaki- "what the hell are you doing?" He doesn't understand at all, there's clearly nothing there. Grabs your hand and speed walks away, occasionally looking back and adjusting his glasses.
Koko- Hisses a "what the fuck" before kicking in that direction a few times. Buys you cake after because he feels guilty that you got "attacked" on his watch.
Inui- Blinks before ruthlessly punching at the air, he isn't sure what's going on but he isn't going to let anything happen to you.
Taiju- Laughs manically and charges at the imaginary friend. Unfortunately since he doesn't feel anything he just keeps running, assuming it's running away from him. You have to run after him to get him back.
Izana- "who the hell is trying to hurt what's mine?" Wants you to point out the guy out but when you don't he starts attacking in the general direction you're fighting in. Doesn't seem to totally understand it wasn't real after, since he demands to see your wounds so he can treat them.
Kakucho- Eyes flicker around wildly while trying to find the threat. He's so worried about you, of course he throws a bunch of punches but when he doesn't hit anything he worries that the other guy is "dodging him". He's a little disappointed to find out it was only a prank after. He's glad you're ok but kinda wanted to show off his skills to you.
Ran- Gets out his baton and whacks the imaginary friend a bunch of times, then grins and declares that it's dead. Insists you come back to his house after so he can keep you "safe".
Rindou- Panics a little since he can't see anyone. Tries to tackle the air and hits the ground pretty hard. Still asks "did I get it!?" Is more concerned about you then his fall.
Mochi- Angrily yells and starts swinging, yells out to ask if you're ok the whole time while he's doing this.
Shion- "who is it!???" Threatens the air before punching at it, probably somehow manages to punch a lamppost instead then insists you kiss his bruised knuckles better.
South- Happily starts throwing punches for you. When it doesn't seem to work (he can't feel anything) he picks you up and runs away while carrying you. (He plans on coming back later to finish the job after you're safe).
Wakasa- He's pretty confused about this, takes a second to think before shrugging and throwing a kick. Wants you to say thank you after since he "saved you".
Benkei- Yells and swats at the imaginary friend, tries to make them go away. If that fails then he gets more serious with it and attacks the air more ferociously.
Shinichiro- Calls out to you in concern, he's not sure what to do exactly. Tries to bargain with the imaginary friend, "take me instead!" When that doesn't work he tells you to run while he holds them off.

I met JJ a month and a half ago at an event. He was so sweet and despite looking slightly intimidating, he is the cutest little softie I've ever met. He asked me out and I was officially his girlfriend two weeks later. We decided to keep our relationship private as I'm an actor and have had relationships ruined in the past, due to random strangers on the Internet and their opinions. But yesterday we went out for dinner and were pictured by paparazzi on our way out. We have been so careful and were also wearing dark clothes but I assume someone in the restaurant recognised us and so told the paparazzi where we were.
Since our relationship became public the amount of hate JJ has been getting it is crazy. People are spreading stupid rumours and Twitter is full of people talking shit about him and our private life. I feel absolutely awful. He has dealt with lots of hate in the past just from being in the sidemen, but it's nothing like this. He has stopped appearing in more sidemen videos, along with sidemen reacts just because the comment section is completely ignoring the videos and just talking about JJ. We're both confused on why people care so much and are so outraged. JJ is a YouTuber, musician and boxer but people still believe I shouldn't be with someone like him because he's not 'famous enough'.
Today I sat in my apartment when I got a call from Tobi: "hey, what's up?" I asked. "Hi um- JJ... he's been acting really strange today, like really quiet and sorta just kept his head down. We're a bit worried about him." He said quietly. I sighed "I think everything that's been going on has started to get to him. I'll talk to him when he gets home. Thanks Tobs." I said. "Alright, in a bit." "Bye." I put the phone down and quickly clicked on instagram.

Canon vs. AU Stories
So when it comes to fanfic, I have more experience with canon stories, but I enjoy reading and writing both canon and AU depending on the premise. For example, reading a firefighter!Dean story (and my love of Chicago Fire and other procedurals) led me to write Smoke Eater, my first full SPN AU story.
Writing an AU is more challenging in my opinion, because you're doing more extensive worldbuilding and character building than stories in a canon storyverse. Smoke Eater was much more challenging for me to write than Never Say Goodbye, for example, which is a soulmate AU within the canon SPN world.
A Book Maybe?
Second, do you only write fanfic or do you do your own personal writing too? I fully believe you could (and should) write a novel someday if you desired! You're so talented and I'd love to see what you could come up with.

Yes, I've actually been working on a novel for the past couple of years. I've taken a break from it since I've been writing so much fanfic lmao. But it's actually a a fantasy/romance. (Think Bridgerton and Howl's Moving Castle meets GoT, with less violence, lots of drama, and a bit more magic lol.) I had a major breakthrough in my draft and outline a few weeks ago, so my goal is to finish it this year! 💕💕

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this cowboy sheriff with all my heart and soul, and he would undoubtedly treat me right (once we got him into therapy for some of his trauma).
But...
Dean has held my heart the longest out of these three. He's flawed and has trauma beyond belief, but I'd love to give him the loving, comforting, supportive relationship he always deserved on the show. (And then fix that fucked up ending for sure.)
And for that reason, I'd have to marry Dean.
@luci-in-trenchcoats I would also love to hear your thoughts on writing canon vs. AU, since you've written so much of both. What's your favorite, and which do you find more challenging?

Clyde, I’m angry because they’re doing it again. They had the opportunity to make a complex situation and they’re making black and white again, Clyde. I’m not happy. I’m very angry, Clyde. The fact that Jaune isn’t allowed to lash out for a second when a village he was protecting was destroyed while Ruby can bitch and moan about a burden she placed on her shoulders really makes me fucking angry, Clyde. Duck this SHOW. Christ.
I feel you 🤣
I do understand the fans - RWDE included - who are fully anti-Jaune because yeah, in the grand scheme of things it's a problem that he is again allowed to hog the emotional spotlight when we've got a cast of four to develop. But within the non-meta context of the story and what we have to work with... hard agree. My problem with the focus of Ruby's meltdown isn't simply that she's complaining about something she actively took from others with horrific consequences (though that is a huge part of it), but that it's explicitly pitted against the death of Jaune's village. Yes, we can infer that Ruby is upset about a lot of things - like Penny - but that's not what's written in this scene. So what you end up with is:
Jaune: I'm lashing out because the family I've been protecting for years in my unimaginable isolation have all been killed and my supposed friends are calling me crazy and won't even acknowledge that this is a true loss
Ruby: I'm lashing out because my self-imposed leadership has gotten too hard for me to handle and my teammates haven't noticed that I'm crumbling under the authority I demanded others grant me
The middle part of that is the only part of Ruby's meltdown I agree with - yes, her teammates have been awful to her since landing in Ever After and I HATE that Yang's sisterhood/Weiss' partnership/Blake's supposed pride in Ruby have all but disappeared - but that's only a small part of her underlying complaint which is... that she got what she wanted? Ruby wanted to call the shots and now she's pissed that people expect her to call the shots. Like yeah, you can (and often should) write a character who regrets their choices, but if they don't acknowledge their agency in those choices (which Ruby veeeery much hasn't) they just come across as a selfish asshole. Which is also a great archetype! ... just maybe not in the supposedly innocent, pure soul meant to be a pretty simplistically good hero?
Then you toss in the fact that Ruby's meltdown is contrasted with Jaune's and things look so much worse. Ruby is regretting her own choices. Jaune is grieving countless deaths at the hands of an established villain and the narrative's uncomfortable suicide metaphor. These are not the same. These are not even CLOSE to comparable and the only way you can try to weigh them equally is if you a) toss in all Ruby's trauma which explicitly isn't brought up or b) buy into her idea that the Paper Pleasers are "make believe" and therefore their loss is of no emotional consequence. Sorry, but that doesn't work for me in a story that (originally) positioned Penny as a person despite not being human AND in an episode that JUST had the girls prioritizing the Paper Pleasers' perspective over Jaune's. The story can't criticize Jaune for not listening to the highly-articulate, autonomous beings and then also claim they're nothing but insignificant figments of his imagination. It's one or the other. If the Paper Pleasers are "human" enough to treat their desire to die with respect, than they're "human" enough for Jaune to grieve the hell out of when they're gone. Plus, I know a lot of people won't buy into this because we didn't see the relationship develop on screen, but Jaune spent years with these non-human people who act innocent and silly and a little bit "dumb" sometimes. That sounds a lot like Penny! If Ruby is subtexually lashing out because she's still grieving a non-human friend she had for a year and two-ish months... why would we expect Jaune's grief to be any less after loosing a whole village of those friends after years of living together? He's grieving countless Pennys all at the same time, after all that time being alone. This basically takes Ruby's situation and magnifies it by a hundred: what if you had LOTS of friends die and the world ACTUALLY forced you into being the hero (Jaune becoming the Rusted Knight) and instead of just being ignored for two days, you were without your friends and family for two decades?
Seriously, Jaune's situation is a lot like Ruby's situation just with trauma squared - right down to him being a leader - except he didn't bring much of this down on his own head. Having these two meltdowns in the same scene isn't just a problem because Jaune gets more emotional screentime, it's a problem because I can't take Ruby seriously compared to the insane horrors Jaune is enduring beside her.

Irene prides herself on her self control, her discipline and will. Most things alphas don't have.
She had a lot to prove since presenting as one and constantly had to prove she was deserving of the title, she was thankful for you. Her group's makeup artist, an omega, you always were well-mannered and respectful, immediately knowing she was an alpha.
So naturally, she fell for you, she fell hard but she wasn't going to let her guard down, especially when she knew how her fellow alpha members felt about you. She had competition and knew how alphas could get when lusting after the same omega, fights could break out and she didn't want the group to be torn apart.
So she buried her feelings for you, locked them away and tried her best to treat you as nothing other than a friend. Her members, however, well didn't do the same.
Maybe it was the age gap, the immaturity of young alphas could be to blame for their shamelessness. Even though you were not their makeup artist, they were constantly around you. Ghosting hands over you as they complimented your outfits, questioning you on your love life and if you've ever been with an alpha like them.
Irene officially snapped the day of their comeback week. You had arrived early, wearing a smile and the shortest skirt she had ever seen. Bringing coffees for her and the girls as you welcomed her into the makeup chair and began to work.
You were just finishing up the final touches when the other girls came in, makeup finished and stage outfits on. Immediately crowding around the two of you and touching. Irene's knuckles were starting to turn white from her grip on the wooden armrests.
Sooyoung had also noticed your skirt immediately, brushing her hands up your thighs and playing it off as complimenting how the skirt suits your thighs well. Yeri was quick to one-up her; as you took a sip of your coffee she brought a hand to your lip and wiped the coffee residue off with her thumb and sucked it clean with her own lips.
You were called away by a manager and the girls sat down waiting for your return, Irene sat in her chair still, breathing slowly to stop some sort of freakout.
But she could unfortunately hear their conversation.
Seulgi's voice was quiet but she heard every word clear as day, the older woman let her eyes drift up to the mirror in front of her to see the four sitting on the couch in the back of the room.
"I took one of her shirts a week back, and used it during my rut." she bragged, smirking as the other girls growled. but Seungwan was quick with her response.
"I asked her for a hoodie and got it, didn't have to be a creep and steal it." Wendy shot a teasing glance to a now growling Seulgi.
"And I used it during my rut too, gave it back to her and you should've seen how shy she was, 'bet she was dripping."
There was a hum of agreement amongst them, Irene did her best to distract herself, trying to scroll through social media until you return, texting her manager to ask where you were. She could practically feel the steam coming out of her ears.
"What I would do to fuck her- Nah scratch that, I'd breed her," Sooyoung mumbled lowly and before the other girls could agree you opened the door again and they quickly shut themselves up. But that comment pushed Irene over the edge, no one could breed you but her and she was going to make sure the others knew that. She didn't even realise you had returned until you stood in front of her.
"Is everything okay Miss Joohyun?" You questioned, turning to the desk and starting to pack your makeup brushes but you only got two done before you felt someone press against your back, and something pressing against your ass.

Uh. Somewhere around 35-ish? There's been a lot of, like, building out on existing ones and making them cohesive, so it's really hard to say. 40-50 sessions in the chair, for sure.

Any of the multiple memorial tattoos for deceased family members, or the matching tattoo I got with my spouse after our wedding

I'm hoping to get something cool on my chest post-top surgery, but that's a long-ass way away yet.
5. What was the most painful tattoo?
I fully used numbing cream when I got my inner thigh tattooed, but I missed a spot. Ask me how I realised.
Also my knuckles, jfc. Fully cussed my tattoo guy out for that one, it was his idea to extend the design down to cover a couple of knuckles in the first place lmfao.
6. What was your first ever tattoo and how old were you when you got it?
My uncle's initials after he died when I was 17. I had this deal with my mum that I could get all the facial piercings I wanted, dye my hair all the batshit colours I wanted, as long as I didn't get a tattoo until I turned 18. And I'm grateful for that, because I wanted some tacky-ass shit at 15-16. But we negotiated for the one at 17, which there was little to no chance of me regretting.
7. What is your most recent tattoo?
An envelope with a piece of paper coming out of it that says "wish you were queer xo" for a flash day fundraiser for RainbowYOUTH.
8. What does your family think about your tattoos?
My mum is fucking petrified of needles, so her objection isn't to the permanent ink on my skin so much as willingly subjecting myself to being stabbed lmao. I hid them from my paternal grandparents until my wedding day and then said 'fuck it they can't yell at me today!' and they have never, ever mentioned them since. My maternal grandmother hated my first few, offered to pay to get them laser removed when I was at about 4 or 5, then begrudgingly acknowledged that some of them weren't terrible, and when she went into hospice in 2017 she gave me a list of the sorts of things she wanted included in her memorial tattoo 🤣
9. What meaning do your tattoos have?
Everything from very personal connections/memories/experiences in the memorial tattoos down to "I rolled three dice and got three words and the artist designed something based on that and slapped it on my body", and everything in between.
10. How many tattoos do you want?
As many as I have good ideas.
11. Where is the most painful place you've been tattooed?
Is this a different question to #5?
I will say - back of calf tattoos are surprisingly difficult. Not the MOST painful place, but probably the longest I've been really genuinely uncomfortable? (Though, again, sans numbing cream on my inner thigh this would be a VERY different convo)

These days I do! Only since I moved back to my current city in 2017, though, so a lot of my older stuff is by other artists. His name's Steve, he's a fucking delight, every day I'm in his chair is a fucking party. When my grandad died I just booked him out for the day and chatted to him about my grandad for the morning until inspo struck him and then he turned his iPad around with the loveliest design on it.
18. Is there any artist you would love to get work done by? Tell us about them!
There are lots of incredible artists out there, but I don't think I have, like, one bucket list person.
19. What is your worst tattoo experience?
I had an apprentice go too deep on my pansexual tattoo and I still have a bit of raised scar tissue there lmao

Getting my grandmother's memorial tattoo designed and tattooed. Per #8 I went in with a bit of a chaotic list and what the artist put together was just fucking stunning. It's my whole upper arm and every single element of it has really personal meaning.

Yep! My spouse and I got matching Doctor Who tattoos after our wedding. I'm a DW fan of old, got my spouse into the show after we got together, and we had a reference in our ceremony but without discussing it, we'd both put references in our individual vows as well lmao.
I also have a few like... standard tattoos, for lack of a better word? As well as a few flash sheet designs. So I definitely have matching tattoos with strangers 🤣
22. What is your opinion on face tattoos?

In the course of typing this out, this got very long, so it's under a read more for other's Dashboards sanity
I've drawn various versions in the past... oh god I'm old, this game needs to stop aging- 15 years. Imagined him in all sorts of ways. My favorite is personally the squirrel design another Artist made (I unfortunately don't have their username and nothing comes back when I reverse image search it so someone feel free to supplement that info if they know)
But we do know that on some level of Canon (Thanks to the manga), Ratatosk has a humanoid figure with a physique similar to Regal and Origin.
Isn't he sexy? /jk 🤣🤣
We also know, thanks to the manga, that the Sword Emil uses is not the same style blade Ratatosk is demonstrated as owning in the comics.
(Png Rendering I made ages ago for Cosplay referencing) Which leads to reason that Emil and Ratatosk developed a new fighting style over the course of the story and the only hints that the style Ratatosk knew are in Ain Soph Aur.
Emil likes to use the sword like an extra long fencing style sword, where Ratatosk winds up for the Ain Soph Aur attack like he's wielding a Back Handed Blade aka Reverse Grip sword. (which is just a sword with the grip handle that allows for it to be held backwards. You can see this technique in many Rogue type characters, and even in Naruto when they hold their knives backwards along their forearm)
**Note that you can use backhanded blades forward like normal blades**
Richter mentioned (more like aqua but who's paying attention) that Ratatosk was very strong in whatever fighting technique he knew and that he had been injured going toe to toe with Ratatosk. And Before I go into my dissertation that Ratatosk would be an AMAZING volleyball player, I'll move on. >u>
Fortunately you won't have to labor too hard into imagining what Humanoid Summon Spirits look like as the First game gave us plenty of source material to work with.
As you'll see across the spread is that, except for Maxwell, Clothing is optional. Origin put on Boots and called it FUCKING GOOD ENOUGH. I also think it's interesting that Origin and Ratatosk have very similar looking blades.
Finally, I must Add that on the Centurions themselves (and I mean aqua and Tenebrae) you can See elements of their core on them. Color scheme, Markings bearing similar strokes etc. We also know that On Undine, Celsius, and Luna that they do have physical Markings.
We also Know what Tree Spirits look like thanks to Tales of Phantasia Narikiri dungeon.

So if you wanted to run off with a completely unique Idea, Here's a bunch of info that uses Canon source materials to help you along.
As for my Head canons... Cutie with red eyes, either Red or Raven Hair (but I like to draw him with white because that's fun too). Outfits I like to do a spin off of his Knight of Ratatosk attire that only the Darkness knows because I get the Sense Tenebrae fashioned it after something Ratatosk was comfortable wearing. Something that isn't super rough around the edges because Ratatosk's dissention into a harsh personality set was triggered by the death of his tree. Mithos (in Tales of the Rays) recalled him being a very Kind Summon Spirit, Seeing a lot of who Emil is in what he recalled of Ratatosk, but still sees that Kindness in Ratatosk. (That Ratty pants totally swears he doesn't have. And Nothing gets me more than Ratatosk having enough character growth to accept what happened and forgive his old Friend for what transpired. 😭I was expecting a hoe down drag out brawl and they gave me FEELS.)
I found One of the pieces where I based him more so off Norn's design elements. Old piece is old, made back in 2019. But I'm not seeing the other versions. I'll have to see if they are stored elsewhere.

DID YOU SAY THAT YOU READ WEBTOONS? What uh.... What are your favorites? 👉👈 I'm still trying to wean off reading manga, and the only webtoons I've read are Queen Cecia Wears Knickerbockers and Wayne Family Adventures 😂
Yes, I have read quite a few Webtoons in my day (Why do I sound so old right now?) I have not heard about the Queen Cecia Webtoon, but Wayne Family Adventures is a very good choice, in my totally unbiased opinion. 🤣
If you want more DC Webtoons, then there is Red Hood: Outlaws and there is Zatanna & The Ripper. I haven't caught up with either of them, but if you do love those characters or want to see more from them, I definitely commend checking those out. There was also the Vixen: NYC Webtoon, but unfortunately that one seems to be cancelled now. 🥺
If you're interested in completed Webtoons, then I have a few offerings. I love Siren's Lament, it's a wonderfully complicated Webtoon even if it does hurt my heart sometimes. Gourmet Hound is more of a slice of life with some drama for added effect, but I really did adore that Webtoon that the art was just so cute!! Flow has some incredible worldbuilding mechanics and it's just so tasty. If you want more hero Webtoons, then there's I Don't Want This Kind of Hero, although that one does contain some distressing themes at times so like... beware. And then there is one of my ultimate favorites, which is called Gepetto, which is inspired and based on the Pinocchio tale but more futuristic and dystopian, if that's your fancy.
As for ongoing Webtoons, there's Marry My Husband, which is one of those time travel Webtoons where the MC dies and comes back to life sometime in the past and tries to fix their future. The main story is done, but they do have side stories which have been super cute to read.
There's the ever famous The Remarried Empress, and you'll probably see a lot of references to characters from this Webtoon if you read other Webtoons with a similar premise of- arranged marriage, terrible consort, attractive male lead that is decidedly not the husband, but don't worry he will be.
There is a newer Webtoon called I am the Villain, which is part of the Isekai genre, I would say. It's a beautiful Webtoon, the art is just stunning, and I have no idea what's going on but I'm having a great time.
For more action-based Webtoons, there is Eleceed and if anything happened to my boy Jiwoo I will kill everyone in this room and then myself. And apparently I've done a poor job of that promise because this boy has gone through it, but he still a sweetheart and I love him for that.
There's also the Omniscient Reader, which was actually originally a webnovel called Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, but has since been turned into a manhwa and it's so long but it's so good. I love my sunfish man and ugly squid king (bonus points to anyone who knows that reference).
Here is a Webtoon I have complicated feelings about: Tower of God. This was actually the first ever piece of media I published fanfiction for. It's this really incredible, complex, mind-bending fantasy Webtoon. It is very long, it currently stands at 581 chapters and counting. Unfortunately, the fandom ruined the experience for me, and I pretty much quit all of my fics and that's how I found myself here in the DPxDC fandom! There is an anime for it, currently just Season 1 is out but fingers crossed on Season 2! 🤞But definitely read it first before you watch because the pacing is a little fast for the anime and you don't get that same sweet, sweet tension. I am lucky enough that I do still have one beloved friend that I can talk about Tower of God with, or else I think I probably wouldn't have put it on this list at all.
Eleceed, Omniscient Reader, and Tower of God are all manhwas, which are Korean manga for a shorthand explanation. So if you want to wean yourself off those forms of fiction then... maybe stay away from these because they can suck you in.
Speaking of beloved friend, @midnightenigma recommended to me the Like Wind on a Dry Branch Webtoon, and I am still so upset about it because I will never be the same. 😭 The worldbuilding for this Webtoon is amazing and I adore the slow building romance and plot, and the exploration of grief and just- I am not okay.
I have more things I could recommend but that's... probably as much as I should offer now. lol I hope you find a treat to read from the bunch, though!

Hey, Carrot!
So I was thinking about OFW, and here is my interpretation/headcanon of how it's connected to OW:
First of all, we have to talk about The Tree™. The Tree is, from what we can see, the only magical thing in OW. Everything in their world seems to be as non-magical as ours, except for it. Therefore, it could come from another world, or maybe even another universe. I believe The Tree could have come from a universe in which magic does exist, which is why it could even exist in the first place. However, after some time, it grew tired of receiving selfish and hurtful wishes, as they did not nourish it, and so it decided to attach itself to alternate universes in hopes of finding wishes of those with pure and innocent hearts, thus ending up in the OW universe and meeting our main characters.
Also, I believe that the main cast has been linked to The Tree since childhood because it has been able to call them back at the start of every arc.
Now for the actual OFW. So I like to think that the main cast created OFW during their DnD session, that it wasn't a thing until they started developing their characters and the story. Naturally, once The Tree detected a new AU, it would want to be connected to it (maybe it was in that world that it could finally find that one wish it had been craving since the five leads grew up). In trying to do so, however, The Tree, because of the main cast's link to it and because they were still actively creating that world, accidentally transported them to the very same world they were creating. Once it noticed this, it had to wait until Iggy made a wish and died to be able to get them out and back to their beds, like in any other arc.
This theory has a lot of assumptions and is not perfect by any means, but I still wanted to share it😅🤣🤣

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
For now, I think that title belongs to Darkness in All Things. I wouldn't call it an angsty ending necessarily, but it's a bit more somber than most of my endings.
I think one of my one-shot WIPs may take this title (though I don't expect to finish it until early next year).
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I think all of my fics count as happy endings! The happiest might be Even Though You're Kryptonian, since our beloved idiots are preparing for their nuptials.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
I've gotten a few from a known troll, but generally no. This fandom has been very kind 💗
9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?
I wrote smut once, for Darkness in All Things. There's another fic I'm writing smut for, although it's not supercorp.
In general, writing smut terrifies me. I only did it in DIAT because the characters held that chapter hostage until I did, and now the characters for this other fic are as well. I am being bullied 😭
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Okay... so... technically I have.
When I was young (10-ish?), I read some Sailor Moon fanfiction. I stumbled across this Sailor Moon & Xena crossover, and was frustrated that it had one chapter left and hadn't seen an update in a long time (I don't remember what a "long time" would've been to me back then).
I reached out to the author and asked about it, and the author gave me the chance to finish it based on their outline. So... I did, and they posted it!
I don't know how "well" it did. I think this was on ff.net in the very early days, so there were no kudos, and I don't think I ever got a comment about it.
I'd love to find that again, but haven't been able to. I remember nothing about it other than Rei was extremely snarky. I stopped reading Sailor Moon fanfic soon after, and generally didn't read fanfiction again until my 2021 obsession with Rizzles began.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I'm aware of.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No
13. Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
Technically yes, see #10.
I don't think I'll do it again. I'm far too chaotic in my writing approach, and far too possessive of my stories, to effectively cowrite with someone 🤣
14. What’s your all-time favourite ship?
Xena/Gabrielle!! They were my first ship. I never read fic of them (other than the Sailor Moon crossover I mentioned above, since I did read a lot of Sailor Moon fic). For me, their story was perfect, and the show gave us everything I could ever want.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
I don't think I have any of these at the moment. And I'd never say never anyway, you never know what a brain will latch onto.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I think I have some good plot ideas and decent characterization. But ultimately this question is up to the readers, not me.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I think my greatest weakness is not letting a scene evolve - I'm impatient by nature. I think this is something I'm slowly getting better at, in that my first fics are far less developed compared to my most recent fics.
But there's always a gap from the scene that's in my head vs. what ultimately makes it to the page. Sometimes I don't know if I've written enough for the readers to know what the characters are feeling and doing.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
Oh I'd get lots of help here.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Technically Xena and Sailor Moon in a crossover 🤣 That was a single chapter for someone else's story with someone else's outline over two decades ago. So I think saying Supercorp is still accurate.
20. Favourite fic you’ve ever written?
Oh gosh, it's hard to choose. I think I have a recency bias thing here where I want to say Darkness in All Things. I do think my writing style has improved greatly over time, so I think my stories have gotten better in that sense.

Four works so far but hoping to add more since I have a lot more fics written I've never published.
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
Wow I didn't even know this was a thing! Had to look up how to find it. My total Ao3 word count is 182,483 words.
3. What fandoms do you write for?
My current works are for Black Panther but I plan to write a oneshot for MCU's Secret Invasion show because I liked Gravik and thought he was hot (I like the skrull in general lol). But I also have pretty long and large fics for Netflix's 2017 movie "Bright" that I want to upload as well. There are other fandoms too but they escape me atm.

Nah, never did a crossover and not really a fan of them. It inspired me to do my own first fanfics. There were like 9 books to that story and multiple oneshots and short stories that tied the characters together and everything.

Not that I am aware... and anyone who tries it....

Not publicly, but I have gotten a comment that someone loves my story so much that they translate every chapter so that they could read it properly and it made me so happy 😭❤💕
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Nope! But I do love giving other authors ideas and vice versa. I think it helps people think outside the box when they brainstorm with friends.
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
I'm going to say Attoye from Black Panther for now? I was never that big of a "shipping" person in fandoms but I definitely enjoy Attoye enough to say I ship them. I also like Nashuri and Killmora.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Nothing atm. I tend to work on stories in order of inspiration and importance. I don't publish things I'm not willing to commit time to at some point.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I'm not sure exactly. I've been told that I write very descriptively and that it can paint a vivid picture of scenarios and characters, so I'll go with that.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Fluff and filler. I don't dislike fluff completely but I tend to write it as realistically as possible because trying to imagine people being that super ooey gooey makes me wanna gag and cringe lmfao
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I do it only when necessary for the simple fact that having to provide translations for entire scenes of dialogue gets tiresome and tricky.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Inuyasha in middle school💀
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
It doesn't have a name but like I said above, it was definitely Inuyasha and or anime related.

I'm doing great, thanks for asking! I've been living in India for the past three months and everything has been going smoothly! The best about my job (I'm a French teacher) is probably that I get a LOT of time with nothing to do at the office, which allows me to write 🤣
Right now I'm working - as always - on several wips at once. One of them is actually 99% completed! It's a chewis fic, too (although it's a little more complicated than that), but I have one scene left and I'm completely stuck. The thing is 40k long and it's only the first draft so it'll take some editing. Other than that, I've got plans for a Change of Habits part 2 but I'm not making big progress on that. I am, however, making great progress on a sebchal fic I've been working on for literal years at the moment! I'm also supposed to work on the OT3+ fest but so far I'm stuck...
Now when it comes to motivation... No idea. My motivation makes zero sense, that's probably why I work on several fics at once. I have long moments where I have zero motivation, then moments where I'm writing a lot... But it's very kind of you to call my silly fics masterpiece, I'm going to blush x__x

This isn’t a story but really just me coming on here to talk so I hope you don’t mind! I’m sorry if it’s ever a bother or disturbs you! But I finally finished with all my exploration~! Well, I actually finished on the 10th of July (aka this month) BUT I felt a little shame to just come on here and say that I had finished I was too embarrassed;; but how has everything been? I hope you’re staying fresh in this blazing summer (it’s literally like 115° every single day here it’s unbearable for me and my dog) and also making the most out of it! I’m dreading going back to school in less than a month I’m not ready!!! (Leaks mentioned: ALSO HAVE YOU HEARD OF A SUPPOSED NEW DOTTORE SOUNDTRACK? It sounds so good AND IT MAY BE A CUTSCENE kinda like Kazuha’s friend or Makoto’s in the Archon Quests! I’m really hoping we get more lore on our boo boo Dottore he’s just so interesting!!) I also just recently read a VERY lengthy character analysis on him and oh mygskkd. It really helped me get to understand Dottore as a character and how it disapproves of many misconceptions of himself. (Like being a sadist for ex.) if you ever want the link I can send it since it was on tt. And the day I’m writing this it’s Childe’s birthday, which ironically enough my mom also shared a birthday with him LMAO. (She’s only aware of this bc of how much I dawn over the chars 😭) and to answer your question from one of the recent brainrots I had made “who are you saving up for” I’m actually saving up for Zhongli cons! He’s at C0 rn but in hoping to at least get C2 or C3, but I also won’t be spending my almost 400 wishes on him since I really want a lot of the Fontaine characters, and I’m still hoping for Dottore to become playable soon 😭 (this is me trying to cope) but I hope you have a wonderful day and week!! 5. Which WIP is first on your list to complete this year? Will you post a snippet?
Ooh that's a good question 🤔 I'm not sure what the WIP I'll actually complete first this year is (knowing me, chances are very high it'll turn out to be one I haven't actually started writing yet 😂), but of my current WIPs, there are two at the top of the "ones I'm most excited to work on and post" list.
One is the ST:SNW sex toys one where Pike wrecks himself, but that's still got a fair bit left to go (if I actually manage to make it the one-choice Choose Your Own Adventure smut that I'm attempting). The other is an original work I've been having a lot of fun with, both for the smut and the worldbuilding! It's like, Fantasy-SciFi (aka not very hard on the Science part of the Fiction 😆), and I'm rolling together a couple requests around some of my faaaavourite tropes (age & military rank difference, only one bed, survival & rescue with sexy hurt/comfort)
A little snippet to introduce the two characters:
Kyl was jolted out of sleep about a day and half later by his best guess, alarm and relief warring foggily in his brain at the sound of someone banging loudly on the outside of his crashed ship. He froze, suddenly uncertain— what if it wasn’t his people; what if it was someone, or something, else who had found him?— but then a muffled voice called his name.
“Gremlin? Pilot! Answer me, Kyl, burn you!”
The banging got louder, more insistent, and Kyl nearly fainted with giddy relief.
“Commander! Sir, I’m here. I’m… I’m okay! Let me see if the manual canopy release still works.”
He could have sworn he actually heard Commander Mason grumbling under his breath about idiot pilots always trying to get themselves killed, though it was probably just his imagination. He’d heard those gruff tirades often enough in training with the man.
6. Which yet-to-be-started fic is first on your list?
...that's another excellent question, I really need to start remembering to write the writing ideas down more often again 😶
Maybe one of the deliciously messed up dark Mirror!Pike ideas I haven't been able to get out of my head... Unless the Baldur's Gate brainrot takes over and I just wind up writing more Astarion x Gale smut. It's anyone's best guess at this point 🤣
