Just a heads up: Afterlife Archive is available for free download on Itch, and its page just got a bit of a redesign yesterday.

BUT— I implore you, if you're interested in trying this game, to wait just a few more days for the update to release. New features will be included. New aesthetics. New art. New writing. So it will be worth the wait. I promise~

And after that, I'll be launching the Kickstarter campaign for the first official print run of the game zine!

For those unaware, this AI stuff is a side thing...

My main blog is bugbeast - where I post (non-AI) art, the photos this blog's content is based on, and games, too.

In fact, I have a card game out right now; it's called Jewel Thief and you can check out this post to learn more about it. Though, I'll have to spoil that the game can be played for free with a deck of cards and the rules downloable from the shop page

And, just for kicks, here's a waifu, husbando, and dragon generated using the game's titular character as a base

We made it. Someone gave a HELLUVA lotta money towards GRIM, my Quake-inspired TTRPG.

I'm speechless. I finally get to make a print version of a game.

What is Fire of Rebellion?

Did you grow up on stories where a team of plucky heroes band together and fight the Evil Empire? Where they find family in each other and help solve their emotional issues?

Have you ever looked at these shows and thought it would be cool to play out those stories yourself?

Fire of Rebellion is a tabletop role-playing game where you play a crew of rebels fighting an oppressive empire in a world infused by magic.

Fire of Rebellion provides tools for players to create their own rebel fantasy and see it through to their desired end whether that be the heroic push against the Empire or a defiant last stand against a crisis.

Fire of Rebellion is thematically inspired by the Star Wars franchise, particularly Rebels, Rogue One, and Andor, as well as shows such as Avatar: the Last Airbender and She-Ra & the Princesses of Power.

Fire of Rebellion is powered by the Apocalypse World engine by D. Vincent Baker and Meguey Baker.

Fire of Rebellion is mechanically inspired by Masks: A New Generation by Brendan Conway.

Currently working on an Old West TTRPG where you play as a retired bounty hunter turned cook.

Still need a name but I’m really, really excited to create this hybrid game. Doing a decent bit of research into cowboy cuisine and flora/fauna found in the American Frontier and gonna be starting a play through of Red Dead Redemption 2 for some inspo.
