in order to keep my home, i have to raise $100 daily and pay it to management. the office is closed on sundays (today), but they are open monday - saturday. i need any and all help with this. i have been trying to do this for months, this is a last ditch effort/attempt. i have an upcoming colonoscopy & then my top surgery consultation is in june (& then the surgery itself is six to seven months from after that appointment). top surgery also depends on the results from my CT Scan and colonoscopy. toes crossed everyone, i am so close to the finish line.

Hey y'all! All of the help you've given me thus far has been truly amazing, and I really wanted to thank you for that 💛 I have used the money this far as a safety net for emergencies and to just enjoy life, whether that means going to the movies once a month or buying an Arizona each day with my walk as I build my strength back up.

We are, however, falling a bit short of our goal. I really want to be able to afford therapy more than anything right now, and visits cost about 100 per visit out of pocket with my insurance. So, if I'm looking to get expensive therapy and psychiatric appointments and official diagnosis, it will cost upward of 2,000+ dollars.

Also, I would really like to have some money to pay off my taxes I owe from 2022. I owe, still, about 3,500+ taxes, which I pay off each month. I pay the absolute minimum so I don't have to dig too deep in monthly costs. If I could pay off a chunk of it in one fell swoop, I could save nearly $500 a year and could nip interest accrued from my taxes in the bud.

Finally, and not as important, I need a new desktop computer. My current one is slowly dying, and the fans are giving out. My power supply is also a bit wonky, and my graphics card is and CPU is outdated, meaning I can't stream games well, nor can I play some games that give me solace. It's not imperative right now, but to have this as an option would be wonderful.

So please, if you would, could you purchase a game bundle? It's countless hours of entertainment with your friends for only $25, almost a FOURTH the cost of a AAA video game with HUNDREDS of hours of content. Not only are you snagging games, but you're also helping out a person in need. It's a win win!!!

I am asking for some mutual aid… I am really sorry to be in this position again.

We are trying to regain our items such as precious memoir, pet cremated remains etc. This is my only opportunity to recover these times, anything extra will be used for bills or food. I am low key drowning but I have no resources right now. I am in the process of reaching out for SSDI! But as anyone who’s been through it knows, you’re completely screwed until you (maybe) get approved in court.

hey everyone, I don't use tumblr very much but i heard there was some level of support for each other here.

My name is Ulysses, I am a trans indigenous lesbian who organizes and serves in my community in "Tacoma". on March 8th, I came out to see my car had been taken from the parking lot at my apartment building. It has been wrongfully repossessed by my original lender in California from when I originally bought it 4 years ago.

I use my car for so many things; to escape the world, to make desperately needed extra income, to give rides to members of my community, to drive 45 minutes to work as a caretaker, and at times, even to sleep and live part-time in. To get my car back, I am being asked for 1,700 by the original lender to cover "fees and repossession cost" potentially not including whatever fees the lot decides to charge. I am also asking for help recuperating some of the income I have been unable to make while waiting to regain possession of my car.

Thank you so much to all the members of my community who have helped and continue to help me stay afloat. I don't have any photos of the outside of my car because my phone with years worth of pictures broke, but have used some I have taken inside of it at different moments when I have found peace in the front seat.

I am seriously so saddened to realize people have used my name and my cat to steal money from some of you. This is crazy, never, ever did I think that my Poppy would be used negatively.

Let’s give a little rundown of who we are. I’m Michelle, a 30-something year old married mama to 3 skin kittens, and 3 fuzzy kittens. One of my skin kittens is an adult, the other two are rapidly approaching attempting to leave the nest. I am disabled, physically and mentally which leads to emotionally, too. My fuzzy kittens help a lot with that.

2 summers ago, a friend texted me asking if I wanted a kitten. Of course I did. Then I found out she was a feral kitten that her mama had left behind because her one back leg was missing a foot, so she couldn’t climb and jump like the rest of the kittens were, and she was getting too heavy to carry in her mouth. That kitten now only have 3 legs, and is my Lucky baby.

Come early February of the next year, I saw on a friend’s aunts rescue site two of the most gorgeous little calico kittens I had ever seen. I claimed them before Valentine’s Day, even though I wouldn’t be able to get them until after Mother’s Day since they were slow to grow. They were attached at the hip, there was no way I could get one and not the other. Those were my Poppy girl and Millie moon.

That’s how I ended up with my fuzzy kittens. They are the best fuzzy kittens I have ever met. All 3 of them have a different job in calming me and my middle daughter down while in emotional crisis. Poppy is and has always been that calming rumble that you try to concentrate on instead of everything else that is happening. And it works more than anyone would believe.

Poppy is sick. My go fund me has all the explanations and updates you could ever need; I even have to add the email with the vet when she gets a chance to email back to me. I have endless pictures and videos to show she is my little love.

Please, if you can, share this post anywhere and everywhere, across all forms of social media. My follower numbers are so low, I’m surprised it’s not a negative number. I know a bunch of you got scammed, and I’m sorry. I really am. If I could make it better, I would.

Myself, I’ve even cut back some of my less essential but still needed medications so I have the money to get Poppy the treatment she deserves. I just need my baby girl to be better. It’s time sensitive because we honestly don’t know how much time she has left with her red blood cell count being in the low 10s percent wise (I think it was 13-14% last time, and it should be above 35). I am extremely transparent in what I show you all because if you are helping pay for it, I figure you have a right to see where the care is going and what it’s being used for.

We are trying to get the maximum amount of funding so we can get all the testing done because the liver and spleen are just as important as the bone marrow biopsy, but we will not look a gift horse in the mouth. Whatever we get it, it’s another cent that we didn’t have to scrounge around to find, another minute off the ever clicking clock.

I'm an autistic trans woman currently homeless in Kentucky and I have a week left to stay where I am. I regularly hallucinate in my daily life, including frequent hallucinations that I am covered in bugs. My family only yells at me to find work, which is simply not possible when I am homeless, because I have no address. I've been paying for a therapist, who now insists that I medically suppress my system, which is out of the question. I get a little work writing but it's not enough, and my family thinks it's fake because it's not full-time hourly labor. I have no path forward. I'll be on the street soon. My friend has advised I make a donation post. Please help me if you can.

I have a bone to pick with crunchy mums and “self-sufficiency” influencers as a poor, disabled queer person. Both of these tend to end up pulling people into the alt-right pipeline because they are so isolationist. They believe society is somehow the root of toxicity and don’t believe in things like community gardens, community projects, leisure centres, public schools and mutual aid.

Home schooling, hiding from the world and not socialising with your neighbours prevents your community from growing and deprives you from the support network that organically exists around you.

If you learn nothing else from AIDs and COVID-19, never forget the importance of community in times of crisis. Create strong communities, not isolated individuals.
