Idk whether you will even answer this ask or will block me but this is exactly why JK had similar concept pics like Jimin. Jikookers made it to be romantic while Fandom made it to a joke 'JK always copy Jimin' (ofcourse). I've seen you making multiple posts about Jikook concept pics being match is a proof of them being a couple when in reality Hybe don't even take permission of original artist before using their ideas for another. One hybe label just got into trouble for copying newjeans and according to CEO min heejin it was BANG SHIHYUK who wanted to copy newjeans to create a second version of them through illit. And guess what he made sure illit gets 10x more success than newjeans, a 2 day song was already charting in different charts including hot 100. The same bang shihyuk who ignored every bit of Jimin's success but shamelessly copied his ideas and visions of concept pics for another favorite member. He shamelessly asks staffs to copy original ideas of artists who created them and use them for a cheap version of the said artist, Newjeans and Jimin are just examples.

Was it JK's fault ? Not necessarily but unlike rookie Illit he had power and capability to make his own decisions and use his own visions instead of doing what he was asked to do by the staff (his words) but he didn't and sat comfortably while using another person's hardwork. If you still think those similarities were because they were couple then idk what to say because in that logic Newjeans girls and Illit girls are dating.

You say that you read through my posts. Well, obviously you've missed those many posts I've written explaining how JM and JK being a couple can be deducted not from one action or one behaviour alone, but the combination of many many actions or behaviours. A puzzle built of not 10 or 50 or 100 pieces, but one built of so many many more.

I find it funny how with everything that has been going on with JM and JK you guys are still at this.

We're back to JK copying JM.

Like seriously.

Like even if the whole NJ Illit thing was true there was some kind of a comparison to be made with these two men.

Like JK, who's album concept is 180 degrees different than JM's doesn't have stylists at his beck and call to create a concept that isn't a full on copy of JM's. Right down to the studs and colours and minutiae details of some of the outfits.

Like if he did copy JM, that same scorned poor JM (that's how you guys love to portray him, as a damsel in distress awaiting you to swoop in and save him) CHOSE to fly to NY to be with JK and spend Silver day there with him, travel with him multiple times and spend his entire 18 months in the army with that awful copy cat JK.

Your ask tells me that you have zero understanding in human interactions and relationships. JM saying time and time again, JOKING time and time again, about JK copying him, it's a tease but also something that he LOVES. How he inspires JK, how JK perceives him as his catalyst.

But this here, the photo concepts and the whole of JK's wardrobe while promoting, claiming it's all about copying JM is just bull crap. This was planned. And it was planned by the two of them. It's not a coincidence that JM happens to wear the bottom part of a two piece outfit months before JK wears the top part of the same exact outfit.

And if we are talking about copying, is it the concept he's copying or is he so far gone that he's literally copying down to the smallest of details?

Like seriously. You think that's about copying JM?

Or because it worked for JM so he thinks it will work for him? Literally same hairstyle rocking as JM had in Face? Cause why not use a concept that works? Seriously? JK's all "I should do this cause it worked for JM so it will work for me"?

Was that what he was thinking when he rocked a highlight of JM's hair colour over the years? That the colour works for JM so I should have a strand of that colour in my hair as well, copying his success? Is that the theory you're working with?

Or when JK wore the same jacket as JM on Valentines day, you know, in a clip that JM himself records and uploads, that JK also copying JM?

Babe, this isn't just about the concept pics either. And it's not just about Face and Seven or Golden. Wearing the actual same black leather or leather-like pants just because he couldn't find any other pants? That level of copying? Or perhaps it wasn't about copying and more about mirroring.

About "You are me I am you", which they have been screaming at the top of their lungs for years now!!!

It amazes me how you have zero issue in taking an over decade long complex super close relationship (no matter how you perceive it they are super close) and simplifying it into "JK copied JM's concept because JM's concept worked for him", or to even compare whatever went on with JK and JM and those similarities to a claim made (by a disgruntled and caught red handed employee of Hybe) about one new GG copying concepts and whatever from a GG that's been around for 2 years now. No connection between them. No long term relationships between the groups. One group supposedly copying from another. Yeah, definitely the comparison needed to be made between that and Jikook's behaviours or decision making.

Like I already said, go compare 2 GGs in two different companies to 2 men that have been close for over 10 years now. And let's also disregard the long history of those two doing the similar and same outfit (during official shoots, performances etc, or during their free time) thing and look at this one single concept.

Probably styled (funny how the styling seems to be similar for years now on many occasions, and just with the two of them)

I can't help but wonder how different your pov would have been if one of those two young men was a female. Just thought I would throw that in here too.

But I gotta give you an A for persistence. You guys, you never give up, do you? No matter what JK and JM will throw at you, you will find a way to twist it around to fit your narratives. I guess you also think that JM was forced into enlistment with JK, ah? And their trips together and the content that will drop, also forced on him? I guess him saying otherwise isn't enough to convince you guys either, right? I love the way how you guys are so intrenched in your belief of victimhood that you don't even listen to what JM himself tells you. You love him so much that basically call him a liar. Good for yous I guess.

So, to clarify my answer to you, just in case it wasn't as clear as day already...

You do you, cause nothing I tell you, or show you, or you know what? Nothing that even JM himself will tell you or show you will satisfy you. Because you are living in a self built fantasy of what and who JM is and what and who those that surround him are, all to fit that narrative of yours in which he needs you guys as his saviours and knights in shining armour to swoop in and save him from the big bad JK.

One more thing.

JM's Face was a masterpiece.

We all agree on that. JK included.

He adores JM, he's his no. 1 fan and he's been showing us this throughout 2023.

JK is not a person that would callously copy a concept used by a bandmate just because it succeeded for his bandmate and might work for him too.

Let alone from JM.

His person.

Not even if, as you put it, he was told to do so by the powers at be (which yeah, he'd tell to go shove it up their asses if they ever did 'tell' him to do that btw, and they wouldn't do it anyway seeing that they know that would be his exact reaction).

Ignoring everything happening here i bring lot of jihope......the most adorable, wholesome, lovely, clingy, Mutual, affectionate, supportive of e/o, Thee roomates friendship ever. It's kinda long thread tho. Seeing jm light up over hobi making him promise CD make me wants to give jm all the gifts nd support just to see that face light up. I remember how his face lit up when he saw hobi during his music show and I'll always be grateful for that to hobi.

Remember how when jm was live after his #1 hot 100 hobi in his comments was like "I'M so happy, why are you so calm? Do something say something oh my godd" lol wholesome. Jm always being there for hobi and hobi being there to support jm. I just know for a fact that when jm goes on his first solo concert hobi would be there and jm will be there for hobi

Hi! I'm new around here (but not new to jikook) and I saw your recent posts where you linked to, among other things, a post where you talked about the 2016 jinmin vlive where they were watching jk on celebrity romance. And I just wanted to say thank you for bringing that up! I think that vlive is wildly underrated. It tells us so much about jikook's relationship at the time. It really showcases how jikook weren't at same place emotionally in the beginning (and how insecure that made jimin) and how their relationship was possibly mostly physical back then. Jk definitely had a lot to work through. I'm sure he was already in love with jm, but had a hard time expressing it. But all's well what ends well, right? :) Very highly recommend that every jikooker watch that vlive if you haven't already!

Anon I think you have put it perfectly. Actually. The last part where I reference on my post about JK not showing Jimin any emotions, I think that caused alot of fighting. Like alot. umm does anon live in some alternative universe of army fandom where people are calling Yoonmin fanservice? Cause from my 4 yrs of experience what i know is tkkrs occupies around 80% of army fandom and #THEY love to call jkk fanservice and since they want jm to stay away from jk they ship him with yg like not even jkk posts get's so much like from armys the way yoonmin get's. There's decided ships for this fandom since beginning and that's taekook, yoonmin and namjin. These are the most popular ships in the fandom so idk where that fanservice came from.

the thing that irks me about yg is how easily he can praise jk and Th who are also maknaes but it takes special efforts for him to praise him. When someone tries to praise jm here comes my man yg saying "yeah but jungkook does it better", "yes but jm can you stop doing that", "yes but why did you have a guitar when you don't know how to play" , "yes but why were you getting emotional that wasn't the time" there's always a but when it comes to praising jm but see how effortlessly he does it for jk and TH. The whole tom and jerry dynamics being him constantly saying something to jm idk how that's fascinating to y'all.

I remember how armys were dragging that one grp which i think was seventeen or something else i don't remember but yeah they were saying that the members needs to have some sense cause they were teasing one member over his weight but yg saying "i don't why you were shirtless when you're body wasn't even that great" like yes king show us how tom and jerry works. Honestly jikook are so f*cking confusing.

Like the start is clear for me....

Jimin showed so much affection to jk, jk was shy, cold, etc and pushed him away, jimin stopped giving him affection, jk realized he liked jm, he began following jm around, jm ignored him a little around 2015 but then jikook became inseparable.

Everything that happened after that made it pretty clear that jikook are dating.

But it's getting harder and harder to keep that belief as chapter 2 started.

Like in front of the camera, it feels like they rarely interact, they rarely meet, they're not close anymore, but then they had a trip to NY, jk's bed live which had some high level of flirting.

It showed jikook's dynamic like it was before chapter 2.

I mean they don't completely let us belief that they are still together because they barely interact online and somtimes say things which slightly indicate that they have nothing going on.

But then at the same time, they don't let us completely believe that they broke up because there's no way two exes act like how they act with each other even after chapter 2.

I mean look at NY trip.

Look at jk's bed live.

Jk's other lives.

Jimin's comments on jk's live.

There's no way two exes behave like that.

And I'm pretty sure jimin won't be talking so fondly about jungkook if they broke up. He probably would ignore jk if that was the case.

So like it's so confusing. I mean I understand they're very private but it's such a on and off behavior that it gets so confusing if they're actually together or if we're Imagining things.

I don't understand what's the point of shipping. Like what exactly are we supporting if we're not seeing anything. What are we here for?

The only thing we can do is enjoy their music. Shipping seems pointless now. Because even if they are together then what's our purpose? We're literally getting to see nothing. I'm not saying that jikook owe us anything. They don't.

But I'm just slightly confused how people still have so much interest in shipping if we're getting zero content. It's not like we're jikook'srelatives. We're fans. We require content. Don't we?

I don't know. To me it's getting boring to ship. Because there's literally nothing to see anymore. Jikook are not sharing anything with us. Which honestly is fine. But I don't understand what are shippers even doing? What are we getting out of this? Because the only thing we used to get was happiness after seeing jikook together. But since we're not getting that anymore why are we still here?

I'm sorry. Obviously people can ship whoever. But idk guess I just wanted to share my thoughts about the whole shipping thing.

I'm glad you are sharing...because I think there are other people who feel the same way.

Chapter 2 has been a time where it's hard to believe jikook is together. No matter what jikooker label you have. It's fair to question what the whole point of this is and to question where this is going.

I have the same thoughts about shipping or supporting or whatever people want to call it. With us or without us, jikook will either be a thing or not.

Perhaps a better term is just observers? Because that's what we end up doing.

Third wheelers?

Things have changed on screen. They have. Because life happened to jikook. Like real life stuff. And yes, they technically don't owe us anything but as observers we want something to see.

But off screen...

Jimin went to New York and that shows that there is much more that hasn't been visible and from there things have escalated and will continue escalating. In real life, jikook has always been. They have been behind the scenes for a bit now but they are still there.

Something changed (in regards to the stuff that jikook went through) and that's why we are able to see their interactions again. Decisions and pacts were made.

If jikook was broken up, we would see it. It's been visible in the past and it would be visible again if it was currently happening. Both Jk and Jimin behave a certain way when jikook is in a bad place. Like you said, Jimin would ignore Jk and only be civil with him. That's a huge sign.

What are people are getting out of this? For me, it's knowing that good things are coming for them. I look forward to whatever they want to share, whether it's their professional or personal lives. I'm still here because I know I haven't read things wrong.

If they share nothing, I will continue with my life normally and enjoy the music.

But let me tell you something...stuff is coming. And maybe that's one of the reasons I stay too.

a/n: here’s the shittiest written chunk of this fic i could muster, i had exactly 0 time to write it but i’m not letting myself disappear for another year😭 also ignore the pink colour changes

he’s here because of course he is. all tough and angsty in his cutesy apron, decorated with pink and purple icing smears, notably NOT having a bad hair day.

it probably isn’t the best idea to go up to him, he looks busy pretending to busy. it must be hard work to organize a croissant display case that has already been organized, the kind of hard work that needed solitary conditions to complete. it’ll be rude to talk to him and take him away from that, you should probably go the other way.

you need bread though, maybe you could run in and out of the bakery aisle without being noticed. you trace the word bread on the inside of your wrist, making note of its absence for later before deciding to grab it now anyway.

you take a step towards the bread and he starts turns like he’s felt your stare the entire time.

“hey, did you need help finding something-“ jisung asks in his not-so customer service voice which is just his normal voice but flatter and not dripping in artificial charm.

you startle at his attention and he smiles, though it only takes him a couple seconds to fight it off his face.

“oh- hi,” his voice goes high and he contorts back into himself, clearing his throat, “hey, um hi.”

“hi,” you laugh at how awkward he’s being despite suffering the same fate. you gently hit your shopping basket against your thighs as you wait for either of you to say something else.

neither of you were sure how to approach this, was he still your friend even after how things ended with renjun? should you just walk away? slap him?

“how have you been?” you ask, reaching up to your hair to let the psychological warfare begin, “you know, besides the bad hair day.”

“the ba-“ he mutters your words back to himself and self consciously ruffles his bangs though every strand seemingly ends up back in the same spot, “i’ve been okay, just work and band stuff.”

“cool, cool,” you take a whistling breath in through your teeth and wonder how to get out of this situation now that you’ve done what renjun asked.

“it’s really not” he laughs and places the pastry tongs down, “wanna see if i can grab you something free from the back?”

“sure, yeah,” this will give you a chance to overcome this obstacle and grab the bread, “if that’s fine for you to do.”

“of course,” jisung fixes his hair again and walks backwards into a display, he saves the moment with a goofy laugh, “i’ll be right back.”

you nod back and watch as he quickly swings around the counter, his hand lingers on the brick wall that separates the grocery store bakery from the general public’s line of sight. you lunge (walk leisurely) towards the bread, it doesn’t take long to grab the loaf you want so you’re left waiting. for jisung. which is insanely embarrassing and maybe even blasphemous?

his entrance back into your line of sight is considerably less theatrical than his departure. he lazes with his shoulder leaning against the wall, one hand behind his back, the other waving you over.

“a bit to the left,” he says when you’re near him, using his free hand to press against your shoulder and guide you closer to the wall, “this is a blind spot for the cameras.”

“right. very inconspicuous of you,” you joke but lean further into the wall, as if you aren’t in an open plan store with atleast 5 people within 20ft of you.

“very,” he smiles back and shifts so he’s standing up straight, “wanna see a magic trick?”

“as long as it is ends in me getting free food.”

“hold still,” he instructs, reaching the hand he’s been keeping behind his back out straight. he’s clearly ‘hiding’ something behind his index and middle finger but for the sake of the trick you pretend not to notice.

“huh, what’s this? you’ve got something behind your ear?” he says, unable to even take himself seriously.

“skip the foreplay,” you laugh and he playfully glares back.

you can feel his fingers lightly graze over your cheek as they move to gather your hair out of your face to tuck it behind your ear. as he pulls his hand back he lets the treat roll between his fingers so he’s holding it out in front of you.

“i hope you like sugar cookie rejects,” you take the cookie from him and take a bite, some of the baby blue icing crumbling onto the ground.

“i do, thanks.”

you both stand there as you eat your cookie, personally you think he should be holding the conversation right now but he’s just looking at you smiling. it’s honestly getting embarrassing how much he’s smiling, for him, obviously.

“stop looking so happy to see me,” you tease, trying to ease the one-sided tension, “it’s weird.”

“but i am happy to see you,” why does he sound genuine? somethings seriously not right. evil energy everywhere, you need to call donghyuck to do a deep cleanse, “i didnt know if you were going to talk to me again, you know after the- thing.”

“you didn’t try to reach out,” you look down at your shoes.

“would you have answered?”

“no,” you look up again into his eyes, they look a bit sad, which, pathetically, makes you feel bad for him, “but i can be worn down.”

“i don’t want to wear you down princess.”

“don’t call me that,” your usual sternness coming out in a playful whine, which, on the bright side, manages to lighten his mood.

he opens his mouth to say something but stops when he sees someone over your shoulder, “uhhh so yeah, a pack of 12 cookies would be $6.50.”

you got the memo quick as he makes his way back through the divide into the bakery where he leans over the counter to talk with you.

“which ones are your favorite?” you play along and duck down to look at the different cookies in the display case, which happen to unluckily be very minimal.

“i like the chocolate- okay she’s gone,” jisung instantly deflates into the counter, his head resting on top of his hands as he looks up at you.

“your boss?”

“just my manager, but she’s been on my ass lately because i don’t ’take this job seriously’ or whatever.”

“and she’d be right.”

I have seen this whole video a while ago, this video is dedicated towards the growth of jimin's and jungkook's relationship. It was beautifully edited and all of jikook's moments were compiled together in chronological order from 2013 (when they first debuted) till 2021.

Well, anon, feel free to send in another ask or you can also hit me up in the DM's! I will gladly give my take on the moments you have thoughts about! Since this video is extremely long and full of moments, I can't possibly give my observation for every single moment. If you were more specific on which moments, I will not hesitate to elaborate more about it.

Nevertheless, here's a quick run-through of jikook's dynamics throughout the years.

2013/2014

looking at 2013 chemistry, we have seen jimin being very brave to acknowledge that he's affectionate towards jk. He likes to call jk cute and does like to compliment him but bear in mind that this was just only the beginning of BTS's debut. Jimin didn't have much time to connect with the members as he was one of the last members to join :)

Based on my observation, Jimin felt more connected towards Jungkook as he was the group's maknae and is from Busan which I where Jimin's from (Im not ignoring the fact that Tae also played a big part as a close friend towards him) Jimin just wanted to build and establish a great bond with jk. (just too attached)

For JK, it's not like he never liked jm, it's just that he was more reserved and was getting into the zone. He had always endeared jm and valued jimin's presence. He has always had those shiny eyes for his hyung ever since the beginning!

Then in 2014, we saw the equations developing gradually.

Things were going on as usual, the normal teasing was going on, the same old wooing and casual chats, jimin wanting to go on a trip with Jungkook.

2014 was just a slow process for the dynamics to progress.

2015

I believe jikook's relationship hit a milestone in 2015. Things started to show very much. It was a turning point.

We saw jungkook turning vocal. His body language and expressions were clear enough for us to know that something was up between them. The sudden praising and flirtiness coming out of that guy were crazy.

We saw them being closer and more flirty throughout 2015. The back hug-slow dance that not many noticed.

The year when jungkook started praising jimin numerous times!

2015 was a year great for them, things began to be great between them, and the intimacy between them grew. They also were exploring their feelings that year, which I think is a great thing!

2016

Even more giggles and flirtiness. Just jikook being very obvious that year. But first, check this out.

this incident was a year before serendipity.

Apart from that, Jikook received a term from karmy and the media. Karmy started calling Jikook the Sun and Moon duo in 2016 after the coming-of-age ceremony. Jimin is known as the moon and jk as the sun.

We got amazing selcas that year and plenty of interactions as well!

They went on a break together around early 2016.

2017

Oh boy, this one has got to be one of my favourite years of jikook chemistry. This was officially it, you know? From serendipity, gcf-t to award shows. Good lord, save my heart.

We got the iconic gcf-t in Tokyo which was a phenomenal video jk made (no one expected that coming) "running, running just to get my hands on you". Jimin through Jungkooks eyes <3

I genuinely feel so happy for both of them!

Then we got the Serendipity MV. Serendipity has A LOT OF DETAILS! It's connected to jikooks relationship. I find that song very therapeutic and full of warmth and love.

If you remembered what I said (linked my Zico post) in the 2016 timeline, you would notice that the "you are me and I am you" has a connection with serendipity. That trail of 너는 나고 나는 너야 ( Neoneun Na Naneun Neo) began from there. Jikook's never-ending usage of that quote will forever be our favourite 🥰

Of course, we will not forget jikook in Bon Voyage, lol. We got so much of jikook crumbs that year. Damn, it's crazy, lol.

Oh man, this one screamed LOUD! We got jikook as a pair for the SUMMER PACKAGE 2017! Was it intentional to use the rainbow unicorn floaties?

My take on gaylorism and hetlorism(?) Of taylor swift that i think no one actually talks about and they're either pro her dating women or her just dating men.

I think taylor is queer, i think she has dated jake gyllenhal, Taylor launter, joe jonas as well as karlie kloss, dianna agron and liz huett.

Just like there is lots and lots of evidence about gaylor relationship there is also about the men I've mentioned above as well as other that I don't like to mention (JM yes) i think Taylor didn't want to be *that* closeted in her early twenties as she was being extra gay on main but when everyone was already slut shaming her and linking her with every guy she sees she probably couldn't handle being linked to every girl she says hi to too. And even being portrayed as dating even more people (and don't even get me started on the homophobia that she was going to face).

What really makes me mad from both sides is making her whole artwork about specific people whether they're men or women, i hate how straightlors link red to jake gyllenhal and make the whole album about HIM and also how gaylors link the whole reputation album about karlie.

Like idgaf about those people I'm here for taylor and how hard she worked for this and how she put her whole soul into this work not the people she dated whether they're men, or women, good or bad.

I think it really limits her whole personality to who she's dating and it's very tiring, that woman is a lot more than that she's a fucking genius.

I love interpreting her songs through a queer lens but i also acknowledge that some of her songs are about men, or are fictional, or not really about a love interest, she's human and not a dating machine, and even if she is, it's also about her in the end.

It never made sense to me how both sides act so blind to some things that screams that she's talking about that person, like wonderland screams dianna, as well as all too well screams jake gyllenhal. Does it ever occur to people that she might not been having beards ever since she was 18? OR does it ever occur to straightlors that even if they chose to ignore the whole karlie relationship while it's still obvious, swiftgron was really really loud and with evidence you can't be blind to (the tattoo????)

I'm not even going to start talking about joe alwyn because that'll just fume everyone and that breakup is so fresh so whether it's a beard or not i do not like the idea of talking about something that have a possibility of hurting taylor right now.

At the end, i love her for her music, i love that i can interpret her music in a queer way, and a lot of other ways and meanings that why she's fucking brilliant.

So, I used to pretty active here, some of you might remember me. I'm not an army anymore but I still have a soft spot for jikook so I occasionally check on what they've been up to, but I don't delve deep at all and miss a lot of stuff. In the past few days however I was overcome by a sudden jikook-missing wave and started going through some of my tags from when my blog was active which made me miss them even more (and also made me realize that the overwhelming majority of the blogs I used to reblog from have since deactivated or just stopped posting/turned their blogs into something else, which was a bit sad). So I went to the jikook tag and started browsing a bit to see what was going on in the shipdom. I was a bit surprised to see how little activity there is in the tag compared to a few years ago, and there seems to be quite a mess going on: extremely polarized views compared to before, dubious amounts of delulu theories, and especially a lot of jikookers dropping the ship for one reason or another, although most or the reasons given make little sense to me (yes, I did see THAT post and all I'm gonna say is.. yikes). And like, you do you. We don't have to agree on everything. You know more than I do anyway lol, since I don't follow jikook closely. But there was one specific thing that kinda baffled me. The JM tattoo discourse. I'm late to the party, I know. I'm sure a lot was said at the time, but I wasn't around back then checking the tag. I was vaguely aware that jk talked about his tattoos in a live, and claimed the ARMY tattoo on his hand referred to armys (duh) and the J referred to Jungkook (makes sense). I literally didn't think anything of it at all at the time, I just thought it was nice of him to explain the meaning of his tats. But while scrolling through the jikook tag these past few days I realized that quite a lot of people considered that to be some sort of "debunking" that the JM stands for Jimin, sometimes to the point of dropping the ship because of it, or considering it the ultimate proof that jikookers have lost it if they still believe it stands for jimin and are now moving like teakookers or whatever. And I'm just, confused. I was like where is the debunking. Now. I'm not one for delulu theories. I think they can be fun sometimes, and I used to reblog some of them from time to time but for the most part I just thought they were cringe and always preferred to focus on jikook's actual actions and words (I never really actually cared if they were "real" or not, I just love their relationship and have enough reasons to believe they have feelings for each other and are attracted to each other, but how they deal with these feelings and attraction isn't really any of my business). However, the JM thing. I wasn't even aware it was considered a theory. For me it's just.. there. His ring finger literally spells out JM. Not a theory, it's a fact. Jk knows that JM is frequently used to refer to jimin, we literally have abundant proof of it. Jimin knows it. Armys know it. So unless you think Jungkook is a complete idiot who has somewhat never realized how that's gonna be perceived (which is possible I guess, but very unlikely), it was obviously deliberate. However, I never, ever, ever for a second thought that Jungkook would ever "confirm" it verbally one day. I see it as a statement on its own, that doesn't require an explanation and will never get one because it doesn't need one. It's just there, it speaks for itself, you can just choose whether you wanna see it or ignore it. So I was just puzzled to see people think there was any "debunking" going on. He didn't lie. Of course the M is part of ARMY. Of course the J is for Jungkook. But the JM is still for Jimin. He's not gonna say it because there is no need for him to. In a way, it's comparable to gcft. It's all there for everyone to see, and he knows it, but he's never gonna spell it out. He's never gonna say this is my love declaration for Jimin in video format. He doesn't need to, you'll see it on your own if you're open to it.

I really mean no offense but I feel that sometimes some people go so hard with the whole "I am SKEPTICAL because I'm smart and not a delulu shipper like you and I don't wanna be associated with you clowns" that it ends up circling back to being delusional except in the opposite direction. Apparently some of you genuinely think he just happened to put the J above the M, on his ring finger, and it just HAPPENS to read JM vertically. He also concidentally happens to never cover up the J with rings, and regularly gets the JM touched up but not the other letters (and I DID think jikookers were being delusional about this at first, but it kept happening and became undeniable so what was the point of denying it, I thought). All a coincidence. It doesn't mean anything, because Jungkook pointed out the obviousness of ARMY meaning his fandom and J meaning Jungkook. Did I miss something huge here?

Very long post ahead because I’m very irritated by the state of this tag. I have some thoughts. I wasn’t even going to say anything and just lurk, but Jungkook and Jimin have a very special place in my heart and I’m pissed

I think we as a society need to understand that shipping ≠ reality.

I know it’s easy to get caught up in the moments, the “evidence”, the chemistry. But you have to have a healthy dose of respect/common decency.

For example, when Taehyung said that thing to that taekooker (you know what I’m talking about). If I was clocked by bts in that regard I’d pass away. There is a line and you shouldn’t cross it.

As for the video, I’m skeptical of its legitimacy, but I’m not opposed to the idea of it being real. There’s absolutely no way of knowing if it’s true or fake without confirmation. Honestly, I think HYbe will probably ignore it and I know someone will say “it’s very telling they didn’t say anything” but really, it’s so fucking stupid.

1. The video was released very close to a release of a song (seems to be a trend) and my god that song should be the focus not the goddamn video. Whoever, whether true or not, got what they wanted.

2. It’s is insane the lengths people went through to prove it’s legitimacy/Debunk. It’s creepy, it’s terrifying. Imagine you’re Jungkook minding your business and seeing some ARMY in Ohio going through every inch of your apartment you’ve shown to prove it’s you in a grainy 144p video. What the fuck.

3. Hot Take Ahead: I’ve seen a lot of anons on different accounts asking questions/saying theories about jikooks relationship/status. Literally, what kind of fanfictional life do you think they live? “Oh I think it’s an open relationship, I think they broke up :/, it’s possible they are separated but still together” These are grown men. Who the hell cares besides Jimin and Jungkook. Who the fuck are you to dissect their entire bond to pinpoint moments you felt they may have been on “a break”. Have you thought perhaps, I don’t know, people are busy and are unable to interact the same way they did in 2015-2019? Or maybe they aren’t around each other as much in front of cameras? Their private lives, together or not, in a relationship or not is none of our business. It is so weird to me to make these kind of claims based on interactions you see/don’t see anymore. It’s like some people think it’s a damn show. Something I always enjoyed about Jikook is how close, cute and questionable they are. But not once have I thought to track their entire “relationship” and think “oh this is when they broke up” it’s literally a ship. It’s a pairing. I’m also a Yoonjin enthusiast and I have yet to see any kind of comments similar to the ones about Jikook. Shipping is supposed to be fun. It shouldn’t be dissected and analyzed to fit a narrative.

4. If I have to see one more post about JK being a fuck boy/ disrespectful to women or Jimin being heartbroken I’ll pull my hair out. How do you know? Song lyrics? Really? You think every single thing is connected to each other? It can’t be separate? Could Jimin be singing about a past relationship he was in not related to JK? Could JK’s songs be written for a western audience that thrives on that type of music? It would be great if we could separate art from ships. Not everything is about the ship, because quite frankly, I doubt they even think about it when creating shit. (I will say I did lose my mind over that JM tattoo in the seven MV lmafo, but that was because whenever I see it I gasp. I know the tattoo has been debunked or whatever but god it gets me in the feels) It’s must be so frustrating to be tied to a ship whenever you create a piece of art.

5. I’ll forever be a jikooker at heart for the fact I absolutely adore the pairing/ship. But I’m not going to sit here and pretend that they owe me the satisfaction of being true. I will take my crumbs and be happy because, really, that’s what it’s for. Everything from hickey gate to the fish in the clouds to the traveling around the globe for a birthday. Until proven otherwise, I’ll always have 👀 on them and continue to be a supporter but I’m not going to thrust my hand into believing that they are 100% together because I have absolutely no way of knowing it’s a fact.

Finally: 1. Who ft. Jikook never got the attention it deserved 2. Jimin is literally God reincarnated 3. Yoonjin is so Cam/Mitchell, Rei/Kazuki, Gojo/Nanami coded. Prove me wrong.

It's been over a week

And I'm still trying to digest and come to terms with it.

I know I said that I take comfort in them being together, and I got to say, that is a big big help in dealing with their departure, and yet, can't help but be sad and worry like a mom that just sent her kids off to the army.

Watching JM's live with JK's that followed (a few hours later and after their family dinner) was heart wrenching. JM struggling with his shaved hair was heartbreaking.

This clearly was not easy for them.

JM the next day (in the BTB).

I can't help but wonder, after the initial annoyance of getting a minute or a little more from the two's enlistment day, if the whole thing was just too emotional and more than what they themselves wanted to share publicly.

Again, seeing how JM is struggling, and JK knowing and comforting him. That look on JM's face when JK does that. Ugh, how I wish they didn't have to go through this. But they did. They are. And now it's time to come to terms with it.

I guess having lived it, done the army thing, gone through basic training and military service I have a little more insight as to what they will be going through, and that also gives me some comfort, because yes, it's going to be hard, both the physical and mental aspects of it. The structure, the loss of individuality, the harsh physical and mental training. But, a. they are 2 of the most driven people I have seen, a work ethic and a need to excel, and they will attack this (so to speak) no differently; b. they have been through so much getting to where they have gotten. Yes, the structure is a little different, but they are no strangers to being in a structured environment, told what to do, when to do it, how to do it. Basically, they are used to doing what they are told. Strenuous physical activity is no stranger to them as well. Experiencing struggles teaches you that you can prevail. Teaches you that you are strong enough to get through it. Teaches you that there is a light at the end of that tunnel. And knowing that, at times of hardship, can mean everything to the person going through that.

Their age, being mostly older than others enlisting (most do so at 18-21) has it's advantages and disadvantages. Advantages being having that insight and life experience that they have, especially starting their careers at such a young age. Disadvantage being that at this age they are all grown up, as in mostly know who they are, what they want to do with their life. Having to leave all of that at the door is not easy and takes adjusting to. But they are resilient. And their life experience and struggles they went through over the years will, as mentioned, definitley help them get through this as well.

For my sanity and mental well being I'm going to ignore the geo-political fuckery going on right now. Does willing things not to happen make them not happen? I'm going to go with yes on this. Don't you dare contradict me here. Let me live in my fantasy world at least on this one.

So yeah, it definitely won't be easy. Having each other's back there will definitley help, although having to keep their hands off each other in public will definitley be a challenge they will have to deal with. I digress. They will be ok. They have each other. They will get through this, and who knows, perhaps at some point (probably not basic training, cause that sucks) they might even enjoy their service (enjoy what they will be doing, feel satisfaction in their contribution to their country, who knows...).

And yet, knowing all of this, I'm still sad.

Because I already miss the shit out of them.

And it's kind of funny, because I know there is plenty of content coming up, including actual Jikook content, like just the two of them without the group as a buffer content, and that is definitely something to look forward to. And it's not like we were seeing them on a daily or even weekly basis before they enlisted (there were periods of time we were parched with them not to be seen or heard from for ages).

But this feels different. I guess knowing that even if they wanted to reach out, at the moment, they can't. Knowing that there isn't a chance of a JK restaurant visit popping up, or a surprise live makes it all so very real.

I'm not going to do the day counting. For me, that makes dealing with it harder. Maybe when we are down to two digits, definitely not before. I think I will just sit back, enjoy the new content they share with us, go through old content (there is so much out there, enough to definitely get me through the next 18 months, sob sob).

As for myself, well I'm not going anywhere.

Yes, I have something going on right now and am posting less often, but I'm still here, still around and will be posting and answering your messages.

We will all get through this together.

I keep thinking about a bar owner JK who owns his father’s run down, dingy bar in a shady part of the town. JK also does some questionable odd jobs to make the ends meet and keep the bar afloat.

JM, is sort of a regular at the bar. Sometimes he comes to the bar with people, at other times, alone. The people he comes with are like JKs other major clientele, common thugs. The Kkangpe. But JM is different from common street thugs. JK can see JM is somehow above them in the way they try to flatter him or lick his boots, eager to get his approval. JM never never looks once in JKs direction then.

But then there are times when he comes alone. Once every week. He comes with a bodyguard who waits quietly on another table. JK knows there are more outside the bar. He suspects the guard inside is to take him home when he inevitably passes out after drinking too much. But alone, JM doesn’t just drink, he stares. He stares at JK throughout the night. As if he is drinking him in, not the whiskey. It should make anyone uncomfortable but JK is a bit of an oddball. He finds it thrilling. He can feel the smoldering gaze on his back when he turns away, on his eyes, cheeks and…lips. JK doesn’t admit to it but he wants JM to say something. Anything.

When he doesn’t after weeks and months of silent staring, JK decides to take the matter in his own hands. He approaches JM while he is still sober. JM notices and immediately leaves, baffling JK. He doesn’t return next week. Or the next week.

When JK sulks, YG, his coworker notices and cautions him, “He is not a common goon, JK. He is Jopog. Stay away from him. Word is he is not right in his head.”

JK nods and he knows forgetting about JM is the right thing to do. He doesn’t need to get into anymore trouble with the mafia than he already has. A job gone wrong puts JK in a perilous position with a gangboss. He loses an important package in an intercepted courier run and the gangboss now wants him to pay for his loss. But JK is broke. His bar barely breaks even. He is distracted by self-preservation for a few days.

Then one day, JM shows up again, alone, lonely. No bodyguard accompanies him on that day. He goes through his usual routine and JK tries to ignore him as much as he can. He is mad at him for not showing up. He is also mindful of YGs warning.

But mostly he is just relieved and doesn’t want to scare JM away this time. So he keeps his distance. Just watches him drink and descend into his alcoholic stupor. When it’s time to close the bar, JK has no choice but to go and wake JM because no one was with him that day.

But as he is approaching him, people from a gang he owes money to come to collect the debt. JK has no money and the time given to him to manage that money has expired. He harasses JK and JM doesnt look up even once. But then he hits him—once, twice. The third blow doesn’t land on JKs face. The hand that had delivered the previous two punches is held back by a solid grip. JM is here. Despite being intoxicated, he moves with the agility of a cheetah and in the next second he has the hand of JKs aggressor twisted behind him and a gun to his head.

He smirks like and his eyes are cruel. Like he is imagining doing horrible things to the man. JKs vision blurs and his fear mutates into horror before he is able to gather himself and stammer through begging JM, “H-Hyung-nim p-please l-let him go. He’s not worth it. I’m not worth it.” So he is infatuated with a jopog boss and is somewhat of a crook himself, he neither wants to see blood spilt in his name nor wants any trouble at his bar. “H-hyung-nim please.” He grovels. JM frowns at him before tilting his head to the side, like studying him. Then he barks out a delirious laughter as he shoves his gun harder against JKs attacker’s temple making the man shake in fright.

“The twist of fate..” JM speaks to the man in a voice so low it’s almost sinister. “You came for him, I came for you” he singsongs. “And now, he is the only one who can save you from me.”

The man whimpers in fear and pleads him to let him go. But JM ignores him as his manic eyes now scan JK.

“You want me to let him go?” He sounds angry and JK takes a second to realise that he is talking to him. For the first time ever.

“He touched you.” JM snarls and Jks blood curdles in his veins.

He doesn’t know how but in the next moment he is saying “I-I’m sorry. Please just let him go.” JK isn’t sure why he is apologising but at this point he is ready to do anything to keep JM from pulling the trigger.

“It’s not your fault.” JM grits his teeth and jostles the man in a rough chokehold. As he sputters and coughs, JM leans into his ear and whispers “Don’t touch what’s mine.” JK would’ve felt a different emotion altogether if he wasn’t so scared that the man could choke to death. He’d be dead on the floor of his bar even without a single gunshot flying. Horrified, he pleads again, “Hyung-nim, it’s not worth it. He’s trash. I’m trash. Please let him go. Please.”

JMs eyes twinkle with something that both terrified and excited JK in equal parts.

“I’ll let him go if you call me hyung. He’ll die but not today if you just call me hyung.” His speech slurs but grip on the gasping man tightens like a noose around the neck of a hanging man. The man starts sputtering and gagging and JK implores, “Hyung-nim, I-I’ll do whatever…” He hopes it’s enough to pacify JM. But JM shakes his head obstinately. “Hyung…call me hyung.” He sounds…sad?

As soon as JK realises what JM is asking for, he takes a deep breath and carefully approaches him with his hands outstretched. “Please let him go, JM…hyung,” he carefully enunciates and then waits. JM suddenly loosens his hold on JKs attacker before he wiggles out and runs for his life. JM and JK stare at each other till JK tries to take a step forward. That’s when JM pulls his phone out to call someone and walks out of the bar. He leaves JK standing in the middle of the bar—confused and hurt?

Hello, i love your blog so freaking much! Its interesting to see that despite all the outing Tk have been giving Tkkrs recently, they still go feral when Jimin so much as breaths close to Jk! This actually got me thinking and i was like, why do they hate Jimin so much if they believe their ship is real? Why do they go crazy when Jimin just breathes close to Jk? Are they that insecure? What is it about Jimin that irks them so much? I actually really thought hard about this and then I realized what the issue is! I feel like deep down, most of these Tkkrs know or atleast suspect that they could be so wrong! They see exactly what we see in Jikook and that is why they get triggered! They know that there is no way in hell Jk would be in a relationship with Tae, yet does all the things he does for and with Jimin! They know that and that drives them crazy!! See how mad they were when Jk did that almost 2 hour Jimin centered Live! They almost blew their heads off because they know what that simple gesture meant! Alot of them keep insisting that Jk and Tae hate Jimin because they know that if they admit that vminkook are fine, then that automatically puts alot of question marks in their ship! They claim Jk cannot stand Jimin and only tolerates him because they work together, all this because they know that if they admit that Jk has no issue with Jimin, they won’t be able to explain why Jk does everything he does for Jimin without questioning their ship! The few Tkkrs who don’t hate Jimin, either insist Jikook is fanservice or Jimin is covering up for Taekook! They do not want to accept that Jk and Jimin actually have a good relationship with each other because accepting this fact, automatically cancels everything they want to believe in! Deep down they know that Jk adores Jimin, Jimin adores Jk and they love each other’s company! Deep down they see the possibility of Taekook being just friends but their pride will not let them admit they made an error jn judgement so they continue to force themselves and others to see and believe in things that are not there! That is why even though they get alot of Tk moments, they are always on the look out for the least thing Jikook do! The real reason Tkkrs hate Jimin is not because Jimin is coming in btwn Tkk, not because Jimin makes Jk uncomfortable, not because Jimin is a bad friend to Tae, not because Jimin is forcing himself on Jk, the real reason is because Jimin is the biggest threat to tkk being real! They wouldn’t attack Jimin so much if they honestly didn’t see anythinv between him and Jk! They see just as much as we do! They know just as much as we know, they just cannot get themselves to accept it!

I always say, denying something doesn’t make it any less real that it is! Denying Jikook is real, doesn’t make Jikook not real? Insisting Tkk is real, doesn’t make Tkk real! Hating on Jimin, won’t stop Jk for loving the heck outta him? Hating Jm won’t stop him from loving the hickeys out of Jk! This man has loved Jk for more than 10 freaking years! They have been through thick and thin together, they have loved each other, ignored each other, avoided each other, fought with each other, comforted each other, been there for each other, fucked the living day light out of each other, annoyed the shit out of each other, and they always found their way back to each other! Do u honestly think your hating will break a bond this strong? Some of you tkkrs must be high on cheap drugs if u think Jimin is letting Jk go without a fight! Didn’t we all see this man fight tooth and nail to win Jk’s love and affection? Didn’t we see him not give up till Jk was his? Didn’t we all hear him say he promised to go to the moon with Jk? Haven’t we all heard the members speak of how determined and persistent Jimin can get when he sets his sight on something? You think this same man who clearly and shamelessly told us of his huge love for Jk will let him go? Lol! Think again! We all saw Jk look at Jimin like he was the most beautiful thing the world ever knew! We all saw Jk get bold on so many occasions for Jimin! We all saw Jk do things for Jimin he never did for anyone else, we all heard Jk say if he likes something or someone he will fight for it! Yet you think Jk will let his Jiminshi go? We have Jk on Live acting a fool because he misses Jimin. He hangs out alot with Tae, yet there is a void only Jimin can feel and he isn’t afraid to say it or show it! And yet tkkrs think Tk is real? Well i don’t know about you guys but if my boyfriend went Live and continuously smiled, laughed and blushed while looking and talking about my bestfriend, for almost 2 hours, we would have some scores to settle!

Taekookers, Jimin isn’t and was never your problem! Your problem is you, who keeps insisting to see and believe in things which are not real just because u cannot get urself to admit YOU WERE/ARE WRONG!

How do you feel about people OT7fiying what the members say about specific members? Idk if you know but there’s a post on the bird app receiving lots of support for ot7fying something Jk specifically said to/about Jm. A lot of “OT7”’s are saying it’s not a big deal and making it a shipping issue when it’s not, but guarantee if someone were to make “Friends” that’s about vmin into an all members thing they would be up in arms. Idk I just don’t understand why people can’t see each member as individuals who have their own individual relationships with other members. OT7 will always be good but not when others are constantly ignoring the different and varied relationships between each member. It’s giving very much erasure.
