Just thinking about Little going from voicing Dundy's suggestion that they leave those who are too sick to haul, to his 'most of us are ill'. He knew exactly what Dundy was willing to do, and how expendable absolutely everyone was in Dundy's view. Absolutley no mercy.

Jason: *just vibing, thinking his thoughts*
Bruce: What?
Jason: What do you mean what?
Bruce: You were smiling
Jason: Am I not allowed to be happy?
Bruce: You are, but that was just, like, an evil smile
Jason: *offended, turning to Dick* Bruce thinks I have an evil smile
Bruce: I don't think you have an evil smile, just that particular smile looked evil

idk how i feel about people saying its bad to write baby jack AUs cuz he's "clearly autistic" and its ableist
but i never see people give jack as a character any actual criticism for this?
is it not worse that they unintentionally wrote their baby alien character as autistic? is that not more worthy of criticism than people writing de aging fic?
idk i don't think i'm being very articulate but i feel the same way about cas, he was never intended to be autistic (to my knowledge anyway) so it just kinda comes across as [someone involved, misha collins or a writer or a director] decided that cas would act like what they thought a weirdo would act like and it comes across a bit mean in parts?
i think i would need to think about it more to really decide how i feel about it but i don't think people writing "jack is actually a baby" AUs are the problem here

I have to make characters. Thinking Abt a pair with a dynamic of like. Prey with complete total control over a pred. For one reason or another, idk yet, either due to money, or like. Maybe they have them captive or something, or maybe it's something fucked up and magic? Or maybe it's just purely through the prey being so recognizable and well known that if they did go missing, the pred would be in some deep shit. Needs some seriously restraint. Maybe a muzzle.

i'm not going to articulate this perfectly but the disproportionate reaction to the mh stuff has made it clear why taylor needed to actually set a fan boundary for one of the first times in her career about this. is it harsh? yes. is it true? also yes. she is a person with her own autonomy who can make her own decisions and we can dislike them and have them change our opinions of her, but we are in no way entitled to an apology or change or literally anything about the way she chooses to live her life.
