Pathetic Yanderes can be a top. Usually if you’re from a rich (asian) family there’s just a lot of drama. Like you’d think everyone loves eachother so much and everything is peaceful but once the family dinner ends the treachery begins. So they’d have to be confident, assertive and sociable to survive that kind of environment.
You know the kind that’s super headstrong whenever they’re with anyone else but you.
Your ask kinda reminds me of my ocs Crisanto Salvador and Isabel Labrador (the dors really do be the biggest masochists of Midnight Darling). While Isabel is a hard sub that’s a brat, Crisanto doesn’t even hide how down horrid he is for MC. He fell in love with her because she threw away a Birkin Bag he used to court her.

He can get you anywhere and everywhere. He can also get you out from any and every situation you might not want to find yourself in.
But yes back to Pathetic + Rich Yandere! I can see them ordering all manners or surveillance. They’ll take the time to survey your routine (or have someone else do it) and plan out what to do from then on. If you go outside regularly then they’ll have “bodyguards” set, if you’re more of a homebody then they’ll have cameras installed in every corner of your house whenever no one’s at home.
They’re your biggest career hyper. They will get you to whatever position you want in life. While Pathetic Yan will be practicing their at home spouse skills just for you.
(Ignore this if you’re ace) The biggest challenge however is practicing how they’re supposed to satisfy you in bed. Making do with someone else is an absolute no no. Besides, you might have a different preference entirely.
So oh well, what else could they do but kidnap you?

I tried to fight my inner demons as hard as I could but...
Why I think Wanderer would be a better archon then Kusanali
(By not a lore player, if you disagree with anything I say, please explain why, I would like to hear, trust me, I try as hard as I can to find at least one good thing about Nahida's character so if anyone has anything to say I would be so glad to hear it)

So I come up with some reasons why Baladeer would be a perfect archon (based on personality, God criteria and official genshin writings and lore), why Kusanali is not supposed to be an archon at all (based on personality and archon criteria and on lore of other gods) and why having Lumine fighting sages and helping Wanderer to become a God would make the game and Nahida's character so much better (based on my opinion) and now I can't stop thinking about it
(Nahida is so selfish and noone knows it because of her acting like uwu anime cutie who cries for no reason all the time and saying that she likes hooman while girl literally manipulated her person just to make her believe in Nahida's views, used Katherine's body without her consent (and got it damaged, broke Katherine. (I care about her and her creator a lot, ok?) Saying that it's fine cuz she's a puppet (Katherine was showen as someone who's a living creature many times and even if she is just a souless puppet, she's still Sandrone's property), took away Scaramouche's gnosis with no hesitation even tho bro begged her not to (he was technically her enemy but taking away his heart was too personal, beating him up or anything wouldn't be.)
Listen..maybe I'm being too empathetic to a fictional charcater, but when she said she only kept Wanderer to use him, it was fine, if she killed him it was fine, but the moment when she talked about breaking his heart just to scare Dottore (she could've done the same with her gnosis, she wasn't about to actually break it anyway) really made me feel so so bad for him. Like I'm a bitch and I would bever do smth like that??
Another thing that people say is that "Scaramouche is evil" "he tried to take Sumeru away from Nahida" so is/did Barbatos?? Morax?? Ei even in her own quest was a bad guy (literally a part of Inadzuma quest was about Inadzuma needed someone more empathetic then Ei's puppet, oh, what a shame that Ei never made a puppet that was actually kind, understanding and incredibly good at politics/s)? Rukha too ig?? Archons are evil in one way or another, Scara said himself that their fight was an archon war (because Archons also fought each other for territories) And Nahida obviously lost (would have if traveler wasn't there).
We literally have 2 more canonical confirmations that Scara would be a good archon.
We saw how much he loved Haypasia and *cough cough*

Nahida doesn't (expect for her loving her people but I already said why I disagree with that but I believe my point was too subjective to actually count it) I'm pretty sure I forgot some of my arguments but I'm too tired to write it anyway lol. In my personal opinion Sumeru would be better if we just fought Sages and then helped Wanderer become a good God, Nahida could be a better character since this way she would be allowed to be silly child
(I just realized interesting thing that both Nahida and Wanderer were created (most likely from irminsul) destined to be a God but not being able to achieve this at first, hey, maybe they both could be Gods, we got 100 updated about desert, no way a baby can handle it by her own + desert people were treated as less "human" then others for ages, Scaramouche would feel so much empathy towards them!

Since Arnav confessed, Khushi doesn't care to hide her reason for wearing the bangles he bought for her, she's so cute, she just wants to give back what he just did. Ok, so many hopes and predictions for season 4 of tua. Many people (can't say I'm not one of them) wishing for Reginald to die, some prediciting they're all gonna die. Everyone basically wondering if they'll be once again facing some apocalypse.
And, thinking about it, another end of the world would seem sorta logical, right? Now, the question is, what is going to happen if that's the case again.
I personally hope they all (not Reginald, tho) get out of it alive, with or without powers.
I believe they'll get their powers back somehow, but maybe it won't be so bad if in the end they after all lose them forever? Especially if this time it's some conscious decision they make to get rid of them?
Bear with me for a second here. What if the season ends with either another apocalypse where they all die (please, please no)
OR
Them letting go of their powers and somehow saving the world doing so? Because, if you think about it, they are literally causing it every time because they do something with their powers. So, maybe them losing them is going to give them a chance of a normal life.
AND
That might be good for them??
Luther and Sloane (if they find her, I personally believe she's not gone forever) having a normal life, travelling the world together. Or, for Luther, in general, not being ashamed how people are going to react to his body and him being half a monkey and having to hide his body at all times, just having a normal life that he's in control of. Basically doing what he wants to do, not what his father says.
Diego and Lila having their family and living in peace with their child (let them have one!) , not having the shadow of their upbringing looming over them and threatening them all the time, making them question their ability of creating a normal family.
Allison... Idk, I think she was better and happier in season 2 when she was just trying to lead a normal life with Ray without using her powers. I personally think she's relying on her powers too much but would live better without them. I don't really know what's gonna happen with both Ray and Claire as they're from other timelines and don't make sense in the same one, but I hope she finds some peace.
Klaus!!! Klaus might need some getting used to not being immortal, even though he found out that pretty recently, he is still leading a pretty risky life so he basically never understood how many times he has died. BUT he doesn't like the ghosts! Losing his powers would mean he could have the chance to get clean, start a normal life!! He wouldn't have to get drunk or high in order to escape the ghosts constantly bothering him! I think that's gonna work for him well! He's smart, he's really smart, he'll find a good path for himself. I think it'll be great for him to get rid of his powers!
FIVE CAN FINALLY RETIRE, Y'ALL! Especially if somehow he gets to get his body back (I love the 58-year-old in a 13-year-old body but I believe he would hate to remain like this forever).
Ben... Idk, Brelly!Ben also wasn't a big fan of the Horror, now we have Sparrow!Ben who doesn't seem to mind it, but maybe when there are no Umbrella or Sparrow Academies anymore, he'll just wanna lead a normal life. It's confirmed it was Sparrow!Ben on that train, and he looked so peaceful and happy there. Maybe he'll like to have a normal life without being a superhero or having to prove himself in front of everyone.
And Viktor. Viktor... Really spent most of his life without powers. And, I believe he was actually doing pretty well. He had an apartment, a job. He was actually living better than some of his siblings. So, maybe if he ended on good terms with his siblings this time, and didn't feel like an outcast (AND GOT TO PLAY HIS VIOLIN, OMG, PLEASE. Let the boy get his violin and show his talent properly this time), he would actually live well without powers.
Anywayy, I got a bit carried away! I actually started this post wanting to say that, whatever happens, whoever gets to live or die, we'd better not end up with a dead Ben once again..

This is a bit ventish so sorry already
I'm coming to the disability tags for help. I have knee pain so bad it makes me unable to walk at time (hot and cold gel usually doesn't work), similarly to my dad I also have really bad headaches that I kinda just got used to because my mom refused to give me advils or similar things during most of my life. I also have trouble breathing but its confirmed to not be asthma (did the test twice+ lung x ray).
I have a paediatrician , she is pretty bad at her job (not looking more into my leg problems after a blood test, telling me to take melatonin because I said I was way more tired then usually (I sleep just as much) and to stop taking Tylenol to fix my headaches (did not work)). Everyone around me says she is trying her best and agree with her that its "all in my head". I got a social worker by her and said social worker refused to give me a therapist because I am also waiting for autism screening (still don't understand why I can't do both) so they won't even let me confirm that.
I am also going to other doctors for my transition, they said they might give me a therapist if my social worker still refuses so I guess I at least have that? My social worker has been sick for the past 4 months however. I can't contact her for help and because I'm trans , no social worker at school wants to help me because I'm "impossible to help" because "only hormones can make me feel better"
Everyone around me makes me feel like I'm faking being unwell , intentionally or not. I feel like I can't trust my own body scream for help and I don't know what to do. She makes me so depressed I don't actually want to go see her again , thinking about going to her office makes me stressed. Should I just wait until I'm older and hope people take me more seriously , should I just give up in general and suffer ?? Since I have no note from the doctor that say sport is extremely distressing to me because of transness or cannot physically do sport because of my issues I am seen as lazy and am actively forced to do them even tho it hurts me a lot (physically and mentally) to a point where giving my all makes me unable to walk properly for a few days.
Im sorry for coming here for help but I have nobody else to ask.

Jin and DJ being enemies who are forced to share a body is very fascinating to me.-> This is exactly how I see it, not the usual "Jin's evil side!!" I mean, not really? it's a demon borrowing his face at the end of the day. Personally, I don't see Jin going all evil out of nowhere. Like *at least* show some progress. And even then I would side-eye the writing. I'm sorry if I don't see Jin like some people, he might be stoic and all but he's not an asshole nor a Kazuya Jr lol
Yeah as you said, how they're written it's what makes them unique. What I meant is that sometimes I read comments that say oh, generic character, in a negative context, and sometimes something being generic is not necessarily bad, I guess? there are many tropes with these characters that could be explored and expanded upon. But then again, they usually have supporting/minor roles so they don't get the spotlight or the development as much as the main characters. And yeah, Asuka not having a significant part in her family's conflict does bother me a bit. I HOPE they change that in 8 but who knows at this point. Heihachi coming back as a robot would be hilarious but I wouldn't mind if they pull a Kazumi with him. Though, I will say, they will definitely focus on the Kazamas more this time (at least that's what I think)

Yea! Whilst maybe the series doesn't do the best at it - I think the idea just has a lot of potential to it. The concept of not only being forced to share a body with somebody, but somebody you can't stand. Your enemy knowing you better than anyone else could ever. Then what kind of dynamic/relationship that can form upon that. As well as the whole complications of not feeling like your body is your own, and no longer recognizing yourself in the mirror. I just feel it has a lot more going for it than the typical "don't let revenge/anger get to you, or else you'll become a literal monster as symbolism for a bad person you are now! :)" Which isn't a bad concept - but as stated, an overused one, especially in fighting games, for some reason.
And I 100% agree with that, honestly. I got called literally "fucking dumb" for saying this before I stopped using Reddit - but I really don't think Jin should ever be bad. I think he should do some minor bad things (beating someone too much out of anger, or being snappy, whatever) but I don't think he should ever cross the line of getting innocents killed, or doing something that's evil, and not a simple flaw. Jin was created to be the Good One, like it's just core in his character. If he's Evil in any way, it takes away what he's supposed to be. Essentially, it's not Jin anymore. Remember when Marvel tried that dumb fucking plot twist where Steve Rogers was actually working for Hydra all along? Yea, people go so uber pissed at that and for right reason. Like I think that's another thing that amazes me by the Tek fandom. Every other fandom can acknowledge, and even protest when their character is written completely ruined, and out of character. Yet Tek fandom, ESPECIALLY REGARDING JIN, is like "yep. He did that. He's a Real Person And Did That And It's Undeniable So He's Bad."
Oh nah, I know exactly what you meant. It seems like a lot of people criticize "tropes" for being bad. Like almost everyone uses it as an insult. Even though many things are built upon tropes. But I don't think many ppl realize that, sadly. And just have an obsession with something being 100% original.
TK7 hinted that Asuka will play a bigger role. But I have a feeling that they may drop a lot of stuff they hinted at in TK7 - at least the character episodes. I don't know if they will or not tho. But I have a feeling that may have been why Asuka was revealed so soon. Because maybe she will play a more important role. I believe we were told this game will finally explain the Kazama powers. So, here's to hoping!
Like, I KNOW the characters aren't big. But Tek still doesn't develop them when they straight up have the opportunity to! Like in TK6, there was something in it that interested in me, if you play as Paul in Scenario campaign - he'll bring up his troubled past a lot, and basically state he's wanted by the police. Even calling his past "something you don't tell kids." When other characters fight against Paul in scenario campaign, and he says he wanted to be the strongest in the universe, they'll call him out - saying it's a lie, or that it's not really what he wants. Which makes me wonder if that could've possibly been alluding to a reason as to why being Number One is so important to Paul. Did something happen to him in the past that made him feel this way? Some characters accused him of being lonely during scenario campaign? Maybe something happened to him that made him feel weak? BUT even though this is interesting and actual depth. It's never expanded upon because his endings are just wasted on him getting his butt kicked or being humiliated. Same thing with Asuka, really. Asuka being part of one of the most important families in the game. And then also having hints she has the power to repel the devil. But then her potential is all wasted on Haha Funny Yuri Bait That Goes Nowhere with Lili.
I actually enjoy the humor in Tek - I think it makes it a very fun series. I make a lot of silly posts on my blog from time to time, and have hcs that mean nothing other than to be "stupid" or "funny." But I don't like it when the humor begins suffocating the entire series to the point where it feels like almost nothing can be taken seriously. Then that's when it gets annoying. And that's probably why TK4 nowadays is considered the game with the best story. Because it's the one with the least amount of humor. Hell, Paul had a pretty serious ending and actually dealt with who he is as a character beyond a flanderization of "NUMBER ONE IN THE UNIVERRRRSE." Xiao's ending was also quite heartwarming and serious about her regards of wanting to build a theme park rather than her being in a comedy anime. Hopefully, in TK8, they've listened to people's feedback regarding TK4's story, and they'll go back to that tone.
And I always enjoy the asks! Both directed to ooc or ic. ❤️🔥 But as for the Jun and Kaz being married thing. I'm NOT entirely sure? But that's proooobably incorrect. As if that were true, Jun would be Jun Mishima, not Jun Kazama. (As Kazumi is Kazumi Mishima, not Kazumi Hachijo.) You're probably referring to when Harada referred to Jun as Kazuya's "wife." But I feel that many fans forget that Harada's first language isn't English. And hell, I don't even know how much English he even speaks, or if he's using a translator. Since it's apparent if you look at many of his tweets - as he often uses one word when he meant another. (Like some fans were even theorizing Jun isn't the real Jun because he referred to her as "it" instead of her.) So it's very likely he meant lover, but used wife instead.
In her English TK8 bio, it does state she and Kazuya met and "became close" at the second tournament. And I think the Japanese version of the bio may even say they fell in love together. But I don't think any of them mentions them being married. so I'm preeeetty sure they're not?

The funniest thing about the villain!Julieta Isamira AU is that Mirabel has far more reason to suspect *Alma* of abusing Isabela. It might be hard to believe Alma would go *that* far, but she must know how much Isa fears disappointing their Abuela, so it's less unthinkable than *Julieta*-- especially when Isa's fear of slipping around Alma can easily be read as fear of Alma herself. Plus, if Dolores is afraid of telling her the truth, who could she be more scared of than their Abuela? (1/2)
Now think of the disasterfest that would be Mirabel jumping to the conclusion that Alma knows about Isamira and is abusing Isabela in an attempt to force them apart. Of course, that doesn't really align with Abuela's usual methods and Mirabel may realize it, but she can't talk Isabela to confirm her theory, sooo... I wonder if she'd actually confront Alma about this? If her alternative is sitting idly by while Isabela wastes away, would she be desperate enough to start setting fires? (2/2)

Ironically tho I really like the idea of Alma being like the lesser of two evils, like she's still hell but at least she wants "what's best for Isabela", and she has a pretty weird idea of what that would be but it certainly doesn't include burning her with boiling oil because she failed to stop her sister from hugging her that day. And I'm sure she'd give Isabela the safety and comfort she needs if she knows about Julieta's recent actions (though I'm not so sure if she knew about Isabela's relationship with Mirabel)... but Isabela still won't seek her out, because that could endanger Mirabel.
Okay so, Mirabel highkey suspecting Alma, trying to bring it up to Isabela - to ask her if Abuela has been saying anything or hurting her lately - and Isabela just freezes completely, unable to say a word, and tries to avoid her and leave which Mirabel thinks is very strange but leads her to believe Alma is involved somehow, and... idk I think she'd try to keep a relatively lowkey investigation for a moment? She may try to recruit Camilo and Antonio to help her (she'll have Camilo turn into Alma so she can watch from afar and take note of Isabela's reactions, and she'll have Antonio's animals try to find out what's going on for her). She subtly tries to ask Alma some questions but everything she says only makes Mirabel worry more, because this is still her old strict grandmother who only wants to see Isabela married to a man and with kids. Is that's what's going on? And, of course, she rants about it with her mom. She says she doesn't understand why Isabela won't talk to her anymore, why she flinches whenever she tries to touch her. Isabela used to take every possible chance to touch her, before - she'd grab her sleeve or the hem of her skirt or play with the embroidery on her shirt, she'd cup her cheek, she'd grab her hand, she'd play with her hair... and now, she's just scared. And Julieta only hums and tells her that her sister needs to live her own life, that she's going to marry Mariano soon, that Mirabel should spend her time with people her age and not worry too much etc etc. She's secretly very pleased with Isabela's behavior atm. She's being as docile and obedient as she wants her to be. She may even deserve to have some of Julieta's food that night.
If Mirabel ever snaps and tries to start a shouting match with Alma, yelling about Isabela deserving happiness and freedom and not living in fear etc etc, Alma just lets her finish, and looks at her with this expression of sheer confussion and answer with like, "What are you talking about?" because she didn't even notice anything was wrong TT_TT but now she's concerned too. And Mirabel is both surprised and more scared, because she has no idea who's hurting her sister now.

I used to think it was Ariadne (my Nightstalker) who killed Uldren, but the more I play each season first-always first-as a Titan main, the more that story evolves in my head. It has to.
I'm told over and over again by the story my Titan killed him, and they're Crow's best friend. So given the last year of story, the ongoing conflict really only makes sense if Max was Uldren's killer.
But Forsaken-the roaring rampage of revenge-doesn't really make sense for them. It makes sense for Ari, who was very fond of Cayde, and who, to this day, still covets his seat (and anyone in power and in the know is doing everything they can to not let that happen). Max was still on probation the entirety of the Red War and right through Forsaken, they were watched so closely because the higher ranking Titans feared what their penchant for violence could do, fostered by a particularly cruel ahamkara. So how? How to show my Titan's growth, while still giving Ari her revenge?
And then I realised: if she's terrible-literally abusive-to her apprentices, why wouldn't Max rush to save Uldren from what they could imagine might be his fate, when Ari catches up to him? Why would Ari spare this man any of her cruelty, given what she's feeling and what she's willing to do even to those useful to her?
Mox, my Dawnblade (who followed behind Ari the entirety of Forsaken because they're a bit more spineless than their Titan twin) would not have the guts to tell her she's gone too far. I can't blame them, but it's a failing on their part. They'd protest and tell her to just kill him, but I don't think they'd be able to stop Ari straight up torturing him. They'd look away, or maybe walk away. But they wouldn't turn on her and face her instead going after them.
Max, tho...Max would show up to try. And Max would mercy kill Uldren if they couldn't convince Ariadne they were going too far.
I don't think anything actually happened to Uldren other than what happens in game, but I think there's a proper shouting match and threats are made when Max shows up. Petra is mortified, but also is torn because she's been right there in the thick of it with Ari. She's complicit.
And I think before Ari even gets the chance to get her claws in him, Max shoots Uldren. Their throat is sore and they're afraid their mentor will kill them, but they still stalk over, look at his smug face (because doesn't this confirm his feelings about Earth lmao), and kill him so he won't suffer. They feel nothing for him-but they won't let this psychopath get her rocks off torturing him.
I think that's when the Vanguard lifts their probation. They prove they can see the boundaries of acceptable violence. They still killed him, but they made a call that showed mercy.
Ari gets a slap on the wrist.

That's a good question. Can't answer for sure. Tho... There's one online interaction that springs to mind between people from Krakoa to those outside of it: It was Magneto emailing the Scarlet Witch. But he's like a government official and she's a celebrity so I don't think it can be used to confirm that the entire population can (easily) contact those outside of it or even tell them what really goes down on Krakoa (censorship might screw things around). So... ¯\(°_o)/¯
Yeah all the people at the top get all the good stuff first 😂. I can imagine nothing being set up at first and Magneto making a fuss about hurrying up just do he could contact Wanda to bring her over there. He ain't even worried about everyone else's situation, he just needed to show off to his daughter😂😂
But y'all have told me Krakoa took forever to put up a wifi system (or something like it) so electronic communication on Krakoa had been unavailable for a while. That's why I mentioned letters instead of email or text messages. And networking computers/the internet is a whole thing, especially if you're trying to communicate with another nation. I know there are tech geniuses among the mutants but they took forever to get even the most basic crap together. I know I enjoy the things the internet can provide like YouTube and social media but those are random bonuses. Having electronic communications is so beneficial to a world that runs on technology, I can't imagine not everyone would be ok with leaving that behind! If I was a lone mutant or a small family with an outside relationship to anyone left behind on earth I'd be scared not having the ability to tell them I'm ALIVE and doing OK. Like what the hell?
Now once we get past all of that insanity I was thinking about the horrors of censorship too! With Prof X putting all his besties (like the telepaths) at the top who KNOWS what people are able to express between each other. Can't think of dissidence, can't write about dissidence, God I'd be mortified 😨

A/N: Soooo... Happy new year, guys!
I finally started Stumptown and fell in love with Cobie's character, again. So yeah.. I've been thinking about writing something and ep.16 got my mind working, lol. I hope you like this, even tho it's short. (I did not proofread this)
Having a Dex in your life meant things were never calm. So when after opening her front door, you were met with her lips colliding against you as a greeting, you knew this night wouldn't be just two friends catching up.
All the resolutions and work you've made the last few months went outside the window as you took her face between your hands and faced her eyes full of understanding.
One look at the mess between you two confirmed your fears.
But once again, you've accepted time ago that the woman in front of you was your weak point. Just a look at her pleading cobalt eyes got you surrounding.
Leaning in, you kissed her. Even if just to stop the alarms going in your mind.
And you'd be lying if your whole body didn't burn up at the feeling of her soft, warm hands on your skin.
"I'm sorry," The raspy voice spoke behind you.
With a small smile, you reached out for a clean mug and served her a cup of the steaming beverage,
"Hope you don't mind I went ahead," you winked at the brunette in front of you before turning around to serve you both a well-deserved breakfast.
"Ugh. I love you." She received the plate sheepishly.
Looking at her calm state, you didn't regret coming all the way to this old place.
"They're good as you remember?"
"Even better," she hummed taking another forkful of scrambled eggs.
You decided to save the questioning for later. God knows you didn't want to ruin the moment, so you just kept quiet as you observed her with a warm smile.
"You're staring."
"I sure am," you shrugged at her accusation.
"Shoot." The hard tone signaled you she had her walls back up again.
"I know better, Dex," you've might lost touch, but you knew her. Maybe better than she did.
Raising her head, her deep eyes found yours and you knew you've got closer. "You're not making this easy," she sighed.
"Cross my heart it's not my intention." You spoke firmly, keeping your smile at bay when she grunted and stood up from the kitchen island.
Sipping the last of your coffee, you started cleaning the dishes before walking towards her.
"You didn't need to," she said guilty looking at the now clean house.
"It was nothing. Although some things need to be replaced," you affirmed offering her a glass of whiskey.
Inspecting it as if it was something from outta space, she raised an eyebrow. "You never liked me drinking this early."
"Had the feeling you might need it," you shrugged sipping from a refilled mug before taking a seat across from her.
As if your prayers for the way too stretched silence to be over had been heard, her deep sigh got your attention to her, and oh, lord. Finding her already looking at you had your insides shivering at her scrutiny.
"How do you escape from your demons?" Dex asked hopefully.
Moving next to her, you made sure your voice was calm. "You can't. You just make your peace with them," you smiled sadly.
What you'd do to set her free from her past.
"This job I've got," she paused trying to still her voice and your heart squeezed at the sound. "It... I did things I'm not proud of," she looked at you with her eyes full of... forgiveness.
"You did what you had to survive. You knew when you signed up that it wouldn't be all rainbows and sunshine," your hand found her leg and you squizzed it, smiling to yourself when she didn't comment on it, on the contrary, she relaxed.
"Our ghosts follow us everywhere," you paused taking her hand on yours. "Until we forget ourselves. So if you really wanna keep going with this kind of job-"
"How do you know?" She straightened herself, eyeing you accusatorily.
"Ansel," you replied calmly. "Kid doesn't keep secrets."
"Not from you," she laughed drily.
"It's not really regular, but I kept contact with him from time to time."
"He never told me."
"He's scared you'd push me away," you giggled.
"As if I could ever," she smiled looking down at her untouched drink.
"I can go back to where I came from and wait till your next breakdown if that's what you want. But you know I'm not leaving you." You stated squizzing her hand to gain her attention.
"You deserve better," she leaned her head against her hand, never leaving your eyes.
"You do too."
"That's not what-"
Placing your free hand on her cheek, you allowed yourself to really smile for the first time that day. "I know what you meant, Dexi," you cut her calmly. "You deserve to heal. You need to allow yourself to move on." You paused studying her.
"I've been there after you came back. And I always respected your privacy. But you decided to be a PI. You'll find stories that could hit home and you need to be ready for that. So I need you to do something before it's too late,"
After a few moments of silence, she broke the pregnant silence "Would you help me?" She asked timidly.
You knew she was a bomb ready to explode at any time. But you really cared for her. You always did. So despite all the warnings your brain was giving you, you just closed the distance and hugged her, feeling yourself at home when her arms surrounded you.
"You'll always have me, love."

Similarly, let's see another S1 arc: Athena and Michael. Michael also "used" Athena according to you, didn't he? Used Athena as a placeholder? But what is it he really did? He came out as his true self. He finally felt ready to admit it to his family, to his closed ones, that he is something other than what he previously thought he was. That he made others think of him as. We don't know when he admitted it to himself, but we do know that Athena took some time to really digest that—that her husband of over 20 years is gay. And that's valid as fuck. She can take all the time to take that in, because she was in love with someone for two decades and she still didn't have all the pieces of him. But now? Fast forward five years later? Athena and Michael are good friends. They're family still.
What I'm getting at is this, Nonnie: Taylor is not a placeholder. Taylor is not a goddamn prop. I don't want her to be one, not like Ana Flores clearly was (and haven't you asked yourself Nonnie, why that break-up happened? Eddie figuring himself out is why). Taylor is there in Buck's life and it literally has nothing to do with her when Buck figures out he loves Eddie. Buck likes Taylor, they're together, maybe he even loves her, but maybe, just maybe, it's the kind of love that makes them good friends and not lovers. Like Athena and Michael.
This show is literally about finding who you are, and moving on in life. Buck and Eddie not yet knowing they like men (or are in love with each other) is just another journey waiting to happen, Nonnie, and I feel sorry for you because you can't see that Eddie has already started on his.

I always think about the fact that even after July 17th, Z's side didn't completely cut ties with Tom. Seeing him being all touchy with another woman so fast after the break up might have been upsetting to see, but surprisingly they didn't hated his ass as much as people thought. Not only did they tried to remain friends (Tom wanting to send Z a selfie he took with a fan dressed as MJ at a comicon) but Claire still liked post about him. And we can't forget Law who's basically part of Z's family too, still supporting him, calling him a brother and being in touch with him weekly during quarantine. Even tho Z and Tom weren't speaking at the time. That's why I never believed the ppl who painted Tom as a cheater or a terrible boyfriend because there's no way her people would do that if he used to treat her bad. Now they're back and better ☺️
Yea, Tom and Zendaya had a pretty amicable split. The fact that it was hard for them each to let go was a huge sign that there were still feelings there imo. I think that deep down even their friends and family knew that they didn't break up due to anything horrible or toxic, cuz you're right, there is no way they would have been so chill and supportive of both of them if smthg major like cheating or toxicity had gone down.
Re: Z giving fans hints....
I feel like if Z broke up with Tom, it wasn't because she didn't love him... It was probably due to major stress during that time in her life, them fighting more, or disagreements on how to handle their rlshp in the public eye. If Tom broke up with Z, then I'm almost 100% certain it was mostly due to the obsessive nature of their hiding. Either way, Z would have understood if Tom broke up with her due to that, because those were her stipulations, and if things are coming to a head, then perhaps it is best to just break up if you can't come to an agreement. 🤷🏾♀️
I think what may have happened though is that they saw each other again for the press tour, and this may have been awkward and confusing because there were still feelings there on both ends... and apparently Tom must have known it too, since Audrey pretty much confirmed that on her end thru her tea, and the only way she would have known that is because Tom told Tuwaine. 👀
Speaking of seeing things from Z's pov again.... Imagine seeing your ex bf (who, now we know, she was still in love with deep down) photographed by paps in London hanging out with a new girl so quickly while still wearing the neck chain gift that you just gave him a month or two ago.... 👀
I imagine that most have stung... 😔 I'm pretty sure Tom knew it too, coz it almost seemed like he went on an apology tour after that lol (ie. reaching out about the cosplayer at comic-con, wearing the Tomdaya jacket, sending a birthday wish, that GQ interview 👀, and doing goodness knows what else behind the scenes.... Tom said he's excellent at apologizing lol 😆).
If anything, I'm sure he knows how private she is, so for her name to inadvertently get mixed up with his due to those pap pics coming out, I'm sure he knows it must have hurt her.
Still.... she never badmouthed him, or made any snarky and bitter hinted posts or IG stories. She kept her hurt feelings to herself and out of the public eye. I always appreciated that about her. That's the sign of a classy woman imo. 😊👍🏾 And Tom likewise never badmouthed Z, or spoke ill of her. Even in the GQ interview, he was still singing her praises and considered her a good friend.
I always feel like that's how you know you truly loved someone deeply.... When you can have a breakup with them, but STILL be mature enough to realize that even though things didn't end the way you wanted it to, and there were disagreements, you aren't going to bash the person in public, or be shady towards them. That shows integrity. It's one thing to talk about the breakup (which, I'm sure everybody does at some point... even in the media), but there is a classy way to do it. I kind of respect the fact though that they didn't bash each other, or put each other down in the media, or even hint at being salty with each other even on social media. Whatever happened btwn you two is nobody else's business. It's a way of protecting the other person, and keeping the rlshp kind of sacred when you don't call the other person out on social media imo.
I always felt that was very CLASSY of them. 😊🥰 Cuz even at the end of it all, they still wanted to be friends.
Even with the not-so-amicable breakup of Jacdaya, Z STILL didn't badmouth JE, she didn't even unfollow him or his family lol (even though I'm pretty sure the breakup hurt her as well). She posted her selfies so that her fans knew that she was NOT in Montana with him lol, and so that her name could be trending for he selfies instead of being linked to him and Kaia being spotted out rofl 🤣
But still... she has not spoken ill of him at all. She just doesn't acknowledge him at all rofl 🤣 😂

So the Kimura vs Mashiba fight.
I have thoughts. Many.
First, Kimura, I always saw him in the anime until now as a funny guy, pretty decent, nothing else. This hour+ of Hajime? Grabbed that and just, didn't deny it, confirmed part of it and then. Built upon it.
My gosh.
Kimura first of all is seen as very human, he fears Mashiba at first, asks for help from Miyata (which btw, Miyata agrees to help very tsundere-ly, love that, Miyata tsundere agenda). Then he takes that help. And ROLLS!
With the advice Miyata gave and some reflection/inspiration (which is great that he was open enough to see) he acted, trained himself and made a plan. Fantastic.
Second, the anime does well in highlighting each of the most important characters assets. Miyata's fast eye and analisis and footwork. Ippo's heavy punch, diligence, grit and humility. These characteristics even color the way they see matches and the parts where we see from their perspectives visually.
In here, we even see remarks on how Mashiba's desperation to win is his most dangerous feature. The thing that gives him that wild, inhuman aura. But beyond that, we see it's fueled by his sister. She's her drive, she motivates him to be the World's best brother (and can I just say that's super cute? I now find Mashiba to be adorable because of this, the softie).
With Kimura, not only it's remarked that he's really well rounded (which I assumed already actually) but that he's a clever fighter. That last one came as a surprise to me but it was treated really naturally, it didn't seem out of nowhere. He knew where he stood in regards of strength at first, he searched for ways to cut that gap using people around him and used that help to help himself go forward with his own perception and discipline. He trained with a plan in mind and throughout the fight executed that plan perfectly, just as he expected mostly, never doubting it. He made a plan! And it worked!
Third. It worked, until it didn't. Damned 3 cm. He was close, so close. But he lost, turned into an organic statue on the ring for a moment too much. He lost and that meant he'd have to retire.
And this is the part that makes me admire him more. He retires. And then, he unretires.
He recognizes that he is filled with love for boxing and he can't stop thinking about those stupid 3 cm. He thinks he might regret them forever (he would). He doesn't want to tho. So he just, makes it so he doesn't have to.
And he even finds a loophole (debuting again but with his name in Katakana) to make it comedic! Just to take the edge off and even technically not go back on his word.
Just, I felt the whole "In my career I'd never had confidence or pride, so now, I'm gonna put 5 years worth of it here". They really grabbed his character and lifted it in less than 2 hours. Oh my gosh I love him now.

heavily, deeply, incredibly disorganized thoughts about young justice phantoms eps 14-16 bc i got up at 4 am for this and have work in an hour and ZERO time to process all of that (spoilers, obviously)
first, kaldur's arc DOES appear to have at least four eps. whoever initially reported it only being 3 eps misunderstood and got that info mixed up with the premier being 3 eps
kaldur and garfield have the exact same emotional reaction to conner's death but are processing at COMPLETE OPPOSITE ENDS OF THE SPECTRUM. my guy is INTENTIONALLY letting himself get pulled nose-deep into political turmoil bc heaven forbid he take even an hour to like. process things
we're getting quite a bit of worldbuilding for atlantis, but not quite as much as we got for mars during the mars arc. i can't really say i mind all that much tho bc we're almost guaranteed to return to atlantis at other points in the series, so i'm fine with holding off some aspects of the worldbuilding for future episodes
episode synopses make sense tho. kaldur wanted to get FUCKED UP on algae and yknow what? i think he should.
there is a LOT to unpack with the political turmoil of atlantis but it's so deeply reflective of our own political turmoil i think i can leave it at that for now

like he has mellowed out SO MUCH since invasion and he's got a husband AND a wife AND a child on the way and if ANYTHING happens to any of them i'm gonna go ballistic
i love wyynde i really do but i AM glad to see SOMEONE confront him about his past as a purist. i can accept that we haven't seen much of his growth bc of the time jumps, but it is so deeply reflective that you are CONSTANTLY going to be proving that you are actively working to unlearn the bigoted beliefs you picked up when you are young and impressionable
ronal ALSO got a taste of it too in a passive way but it wasn't quite as obvious as it was with wyynde

i'm expecting a twist with the prophecy. i don't have time to get into what specifically but i have a strong feeling "the one true king" might not be arion OR orin (but i could be expecting a Grandon twist and maybe Grandon KNOWS im expecting a twist so they didn't do a twist in which case they know i know they know what im expecting and they pulled like a double twist and-)

non-atlantis thoughts:
i'm happy to see that dick acknowledged that he was wrong to ditch the team after wally's death in his own grief. i'm also glad that he confronted kaldur the moment it became clear that he wasn't going to slow down, even if he wasn't successful on that front
violet's conversation with gabrielle's mother about islam, from the perspective of an outsider, felt like care was put into the writing. i can tell they took the time to consult with people involved with islam, and if the aim was to dispel certain stereotypes and misunderstandings (not the word i want to use but i can't think of the word i wanted to use and it's early and i watched all of these episodes back to back cut me some slack), then i think they've made a good first step
SPEAKING of violet. i wish they had more time in the episode itself to get into their gender, but considering there's just so much going on in these episodes, i'm glad we at least got it in the credits sequence. i'm really looking forward to see where violet's story leads them
violet has also stated that they don't mind she/her, but until there's conformation that they alternate between the two, i'm going to pretty exclusively use they/them
i don't have time to get into garfield but i WILL say 1) IT'S ABOUT TIME and 2) it's going to get worse before it gets better, isn't it?
we DEFINITELY have confirmation that conner isn't dead and is trapped in a space between (I'll call it the phantom zone for the sake of simplicity but it is entirely possible that isn't the term greg or brandon would use)

like m'gann and clark and match? they're very clearly constructs of conner's imagination
but wally is in the same plane of existence as conner
which has officially finally 100% made me believe that yes wally WILL come back. okay, cool!
but that still doesn't explain HOW HE ENDED UP THERE

danny phantom season 2, episode 17-20 thoughts! finishing up season two! the finale is the THIRD 2-PARTER OF SEASON 2. that's so many! I wonder how many season 3 will have?

-UERGH WHY DOES VLAD HAVE AN AI WITH MADDIE'S FACE ON IT. SOOO CREEPY. AND MORE 'CREATIONS' waiiiit. vlad is Dr. Frankenstein! (despite his ghost design obviously referencing vampires) HE HAS 'CREATIONS' HE MAKES THEN WONT TAKE REAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR!!! this bitch.
-danny was late and his friends immediately start going off about how hes inconsiderate, and has been treating them like sidekicks??? he just overslept, my god. chill. even if he has, be nicer about talking about it with him?? he really can't help that he sometimes has to chase the ghosts, or has a secret identity to protect...
-'what kind of ghost haunts a miniature golf course' umm. me as a ghost. next question
-imagine going home and theres a tiny child on your bed claiming to be your cousin. with as many cousins I have, I would probably believe her. but the 'ran away from home' BIT....SHES 12?? I hate that they have her belly out in her ghost form, but I like how her colors are asymmetrical. something about her design...maybe the proportions?? are weird to me...anyway danny was good to feed her, but he shouldve taken her to his parents FIRST. or, tbh, probably jazz. (JAZZ DIDNT EVEN GET TO MEET HER!!! NOOO. I mean she said she'll be BACK BUT STILL)
-ANYWAY. shes voiced by AnnaSophia Robb, the girl who was in because of winn dixie, played as violet from charlie and the chocolate factory, and was the girl from bridge to terrabithia. (the movie that made me cry hysterically when I was 12 and I never watched it again because it Broke Me!) thats super cool.
-vlad sucks: the episode, basically. what's new!! I love how he's like, I'm Not A Villain. *immediately cuts to him torturing danny to make him transform, to get mid-transformation DNA, to perfect a Clone.* *immediately shows that he doesnt give a shit about his new daughter Dani and just wants a ''more perfect clone'' and will put her in danger to get that. will let her DIE to get that*
-Dani is danny's clone and is a girl? transgenderism....one of them has to be trans. or they both are.
-dani just. leaving at the end. WHAT? SHES 12. DONT JUST. NO!!! SHE WAS PROBABLY JUST BORN, A MONTH AGO AT MOST, RIGHT?? SHE NEEDS...SOMEWHERE TO LIVE. MONEY? FOOD?? A FAMILY?? AN EDUCATION???! WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S LEAVING!!! OKAY BYE I GUESS!!! D: concern!!!
-the next ep opens with skulker chasing a ghost down. ...does skulker count as a ghost hunter in the way valerie and danny do? I mean, sure, he hunts the good guys too, but he. he hunts ghosts...also, we haven't seen his Real Form since his debut episode! tiny...
-the guys in white are back! ngl, I assumed they were a gag for that one episode. you're telling me they might actually be a threat? ok.
-valerie in her lil nasty burger uniform looks so cute!! glad shes not in that mascot uniform this time. I guess she stopped hiding that she's working there now?
-gregor having white hair, dressed in black and white...and green eyes...sam has a Type, I guess.
-danny being unnecessarily hostile about gregor. danny!!! hes been nice so far. he looks a little...tall to be 14, but. danny doesnt know anything about him! (he does Suspect, but...you cant just spy on people and be rude to them from a hunch.) also, gregor kissed her, and when she freaked out, he was like 'oh no!! sorry, we can take it slow! I understand!' which was NICE. I hate jealousy plots still tho.
-altho. umm. tucker, being concerned about danny spying on them??? SAM AND YOU WERE SPYING ON DANNY AND VALERIE A FEW EPISODES AGO!!!!! im not saying its RIGHT, but dont be a hypocrite!!! AND THEN SAM BEING MAD ABOUT IT, TOO.
-DANNY IS A 7 ON THE SCALE OF ECTOPLASMIC POWER!!! out of 10? so I want to know where the other ghosts rank...I mean it's a list from the guys in white, so, it may not even be accurate, like, they havent seen ALL of his powers, have they?
-Lancer being like 'im not cooperating with the FEDS' until they said they could access his tax records. they already did that joke with jack, but like, its still funny. kings of tax evasion.
-tucker's aggressive third-wheeling. but gregor being super into it. gregor/tucker is the real ship here. then gregor kissing danny on both cheeks after hugging him. bi poly king gregor. (he does turn out to be a liar with a phoney accent. unsurprising, BUT THE CONCEPT OF HIM BEING GENUINE AND THEM ALL DATING IS FUN)
-THE...GUYS IN WHITE THINKING GREGOR IS DANNY PHANTOM. LMAOOO. GET HIS ASS. or,, Elliot. lmfao
-sam saying tucker is part of the package because theyre friends was super sweet <3 but also 'part of the package'...polyships are obviously the solution to these dumb jealousy/love triangle plots.

-THE SICK TATTOO GHOST IS NAMED LYDIA!!! more Lore On her. freakshow seemed genuinely concerned about her. also, is she mute? I don't think she talked the first time we saw her, either. and we didn't know freakshow 'envied' ghosts, either, the first time, we just knew he was controlling them. interesting!
-...they literally stole the infinity gauntlet from marvel and called it the reality gauntlet. is that legal. what the fuck. even with the gems in the lil slots, having different powers...they had freakshow in jail, but didnt check his pockets??! hes just still in his lil outfit??? what kind of ...oh, its in amity park. yeah, all of the adults are idiots, okay, sure.
-'freakshow!' 'in the anemic flesh!' dude take some iron pills then. also, sure, the red eyes could be contacts for his aesthetic, but the whites of his eyes are yellow! does he have jaundice?! he severely needs more...like, every kind of vitamin. (this is what im worried about as freakshow attacks danny with giant robots)
-again, goth circus is a sick theme, and I love his goth train.
-oh FUCK every single person saw danny transform. on a stage. including his parents via TV. oh god. the guys in white and immediately like 'youre coming in for experiments!' SCARY. at least the crowd is willing to help him to escape...perks of now being a local celeb! even the kids at school are accepting :) this is what, the third time his family has found out? its always been an alt timeline tho. and danny fully intending to just rewrite things again instead of...I dunno, trying to roll with it this time? hes really worried his family won't accept him, huh...
-'maybe our son IS THE GHOST BOY, but its not as if our family's ghostly activities have EVER PUT YOUR FAMILIES IN DANGER' maddie. mmmmmmmmmmmm. okay.

-side note (another one about voice actors...) freakshow's voice actor, Jon Cryer, was lex luthor in pretty much every DC tv show, which is why I recognized his voice, because my dad loves those shows so I've seen a good bit of them without seeking them out...)
-the old man saying 'hey, i still had minutes left!' and danny saying 'you gotta watch those roaming charges!' about danny destroying the people in the diner's phones so no one could report seeing him...would kids today understand these things. can you even BUY minutes anymore...I remember my first phone being a flip phone, and the fact I always had minutes when my sister ran out super fast, because I didnt have friends calling or texting me like she did...:/
-the fentons being genuinely like 'why didnt danny trust us and tell us this, we love him :(' and JAZZ LAYING INTO THEM WITH THE 'DISSECTION/MOLECULE BY MOLECULE' LINES. LITERALLLLY. they need to apologize
-technically, lydias stronger than you! -jazz lesbianism moments! when did you even learn her name!!! but also get freakshows ass. lydia is also cooler looking. looove her design sm still.

-im glad the kids still got to go to their respective vacation things, even if they cant really stick around and enjoy them much...

-jazz's 'USE PYSCOLOGY' to danny about freakshow LMAOO. AND THEN IT WORKING. but, oh, freakshow's ghost form sucks. I like him as a clown better tbh. good thing danny took away his ghost powers!
-his parents hugging him and saying theyre proud :"( and saying 'of course you lied to us, we never gave you a reason not to!' and saying they were in the wrong basically for always talking about hurting ghosts aaaa :""(
-then he WIPED THEIR MEMORIES AGAIN!!! FUCK. I can understand him wiping the goverments/student bodies' memories, but why his parents?? they were being accepting!! ARGHHH. season 3 couldve been them all trying to adjust to them knowing!
-I know, on a meta level the showrunners probably wanted to just reset things to the status quo of him having a secret identity. But. We've been doing that for (2) seasons, I'd love if season 3 could be like, his parents adjusting to this and trying way harder to learn more and accept it (and the shenanigans that could come from that) and for fun, if he didn't wipe the students memories, it could be him being popular for a while, then everyone slowly realizing, oh, he's still Danny. Like. he might have ghost powers but hes Just The Same Guy instead of putting him on a pedestal (and seeing them all try and help him hide it from the giw/people who don't know!!)
-fuck they didn't even explain WHY he wiped everyone except sam, tucker and jazz's memories. he just Did It right when his parents were saying they loved/accepted him!! and sam and tucker didnt question it at all!!! HELLO??? very annoyed about this turn of events.
-anyway. onto season 3! I know its shorter than the first two seasons, and is the last season... I might just do it in 2 bursts if I can... :3c depends on the episodes' content and how much I want to say about each!
