Here, we will be seing which crackship is the best, and because that statement is vague, you get to make your opinion!
Each crackships was randomly agenced from Characters You chose! (This also sadly means we can't take more submissions, at least yet (mcyt crackships brackets V.2. Confirmed ???))
This is all meant to be in good fun, so please be respectfull with others and use propaganda the least wisely you can! (propaganda isn't endorsed, it's encouraged!)
We as a community can get inspired by these, make art! fanfics! (and if you do, please tag me) of your favorite Crackship!
Maybe we could even find a name for them, after all, maybe the next "big ship" will be in this, who knows?

Our thoughts and observations under the cut!
Round 1:
I clearly thought Ninjaslap would be the biggest sweep, but pixltoile suprisingly fought well, And fish yuri left no shot to Zaypixel and Geminitay
Round 1.1.3 was extremly close, but Shubble x Hypno won by O.8%! (≈4 peoples!)
We already got two piece of "propagandart" (propaganda art) in round 1, and both were for Fish yuri! (by @t4tpolypd and @staringamassivemistakeintheface)
Round 2:
Mogbeans/Swamp boys tried hard but T4T yuri was stronger (My boys 😭 - Admin 1)
Littlesoot got its ass kicked by hotguy/fundy and was crying in a corner when suddendly, out of nowhere, it took itlwblr by storm, broke containment, the poll broke 1k votes, became the most noted of the brackets (yet) and won with a large margin!
FWhilza fought well but Bighills was stronger
Fish Yuri still prevail with the biggest sweep yet (87.3%!!!)
Jojosolos/Jack Manifold vs Tommyinnit/Scott Smajor was the closest yet! (50.1 to 49.9!!!!)

Round 3 and PURGATORY 1 :
Scegg vs Stresstherine was so close it switched side at least 5 times!
i'm genuenely impressed by clownscar comeback they've constantly been close but didn't get ahead during the whole poll and somehow managed to win in the last stretch!
WE MADE MOGBEANS CANON!!!!!!! VIVA LA SOS SMP!!!!
Fish Yuri is unstopable and has killed many great ships now (rip Bighills we loved you so much)
Bdubs Smol Bdubs is tall!

Fish Wives felt resistence to the first time facing Clownscar, but still they were too powerful

Wilbur you're a pig, Yuri beat his ass! (and so they did)
Zombiecello/Ivorycleo popped off! >90% sweepage!
3/8 ships still in line are yuri, but none of them are part of the PURGATORY Brackets!
Goodbye Zaypixel, our only Yuri Loss this round :(
You guys seem to love shipping Ethoslab a lot (bunch of ethogirls) as he is in 35% of the remaining ships

Yuri lost so much, and is now only represented by Fish Wives :(

Seapeekarl fought well, but lost to the ethogirls again
this is the first round where they weren't a >40% sweep! but the choice are only getting harder from here!

Been thinking about winners.... Then I thought too hard... Here's my thoughts on.. all of them,,,,
• IF bdubs won next season: he has earned it. It would be great seeing as last season was a 3rd life throwback and sort of a redemption, if the next season was his most difficult we could go full heros journey with this bitch and the win would be incredibly satisfying.
9/10 didn't realize I wanted him to win but, I'm rooting for him now! Convinced me
• If bigB won next season: please let him win. I need him to win. He hasn't gotten a single ounce of attention from the fandom in any of his 4 amazing story arcs, and maybe just maybe they would care about him if he won. With new members joining he could have a fresh start (again), maybe with a win he could pull ahead all on his own, just like he started 2 years ago.
1000/10 I NEEED IT
• if Cleo won next season: hggfhhfjg. Hfhfhgfgg... Divorce quartet real... The animations... The fanart..... It would be so cool. I don't think Cleos character has much motivation to win atm, but if she was forced into a position where she needed to take the win it could be a very refreshing twist on the story.
7/10 we love to see a king winning
• if etho won next season: hey sorry ethogirls I don't know him well enough- all I know is that the fans would become crazy and I'd become an ethogirl. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk
• if gem won next season: okay, gem win would be awesome, yeah. Doesn't matter if everyone loves her, doesn't matter if everyone hates her, I just need her to be the main character, be confused, be crazy, die. It would hurt her character so deeply and would be genuinely amazing for her lore.
8/10 this would be sick
• if grian won next season: let's try that again baby! He might have won the first time with kindness, trust, loyalty and true friendship- but it can't be like that anymore can it. Everyone's left him, everyone's moved on, his life is falling apart, and for once he's barely stopping it. He's just trying to understand what's going on. He ends up in a similar situation to s1, and can't take it- he snaps, kills the other players, and wins once more, making everyone go crazy and the fandom die from shock immediately.
4/10 hmmmm
• if impulse won next season: HES BEEN SOOOOOO CLOSE FOR THE PAST 4 SEASONS. GIVE IT TO HIM PLEASE. only if he weasels his way in though, I love it when he's a lying little cheat and a freaky lil traitor. He needs everyone in his life to leave him or trust him completely and I will die on that hill.

• if Jimmy won next season: ughhhhhhh. Okay. So. Canary boy. He has never experienced pain before in his entire life. For those reasons 1. I'd love for him to win so he can finally understand the series he's in 2. I'd hate for him to win because nooo he broke the curse :((

• if Joel won next season: SBDBDJSKXBJDBXKSDBJDHSHAHDH THAT WOULD BE SO GOOOOOOOD WAIT WAIT WAIT I HADN'T EVEN CONSIDERED- so he's been alone the past 4 seasons, yeah. Even during double life with his loving husband, he knew he would end up alone again in the end, so it was all for nothing in his eyes. He gave his full trust and loyalty to his boys, something he's not used to, and if next season he's alone again- he can't take it. He goes about it smarter then last life, though- he keeps to himself, makes himself stronger the whole season, builds companionship with people (they're not used to him being so friendly), and wins with a last minute betrayal or simply being the last man standing. He would barely expect it, but it would heal his character so much, and also break him.
9/10 WOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!you better do this right asshole. Just kidding however he wins will be perfect
• if Lizzie won next season: similar to gem, but with more spite, and more guarenteed loneliness. It would be- really hard for her to take another season. All of her allyships would be strained, and I can totally see her joining or even commanding another big group, but she'd be alone in reality. A win for her would be cruel.
5/10 queen please
• if martyn won next season: illegal
• If mumbo won next season: I'd go crazy. Mumbos got so many satisfying ways to take his character, and the FANART and god lhbevfuebejrkje. Hes only been there once. He never learned how to play the game. If he won this time- hendndjdjbthekdndkelkebek 500/10 I need it
• if pearl won next season: as much as I would love for her to win again, 1. Too soon, she hasn't recovered from the first one please 2. The fandom would hate her for it 3. She already got what she needed from her first win. It'd be unnecessary for her character arc. It's very unlikely anyways, I'm sure if she got in that situation again, which might happen, she'd give it to whoever else is there.
3/10 I'm sorry goddess
• if Ren won next season: PLEASEEEEEE BE KIND TO HIMMMMMM honestly I think they would just give him the win. He's gonna get in a nice group, they're gonna have loyalty to him and he's gonna have loyalty to them, and wherever it goes he's gonna end up in the endgame again. Everyone there will understand that he deserves that win. If they don't martyn will kill em all into understanding lol. Maybe we could get a desert duo "you can kill me" moment but martyn refuses and kills himself. That would be so cool of him actually

ACTUALLY HIS LIMITED LIFE WAS THE ONLY GOOD LIMITED STORY(completely untrue but listen IT WAS FULL, THERE WAS A WHOLE CHARACTER ARC even if it was good person to better person, HE IS SO TALENTED AND CHARISMATIC IF HE TEAMED UP WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE NEXT SEASON I COULD TOTALLY SEE IT BEING AMAZING. HE DESERVES IT. AND HIS WIN WOULD BE AWESOME.

The Overseer claps their hands in front of their face, and takes a deep inhale. "What," they start, not ever sure why they're asking, knowing it'll only lead to an even worse headache, on top of the second-hand motion sickness. "Was that!?"
"Uh..." the designer of what was supposed to be their newest life series eloquently explains. "...that was, um, that was...Real...Life?" They give the taller watcher an awkward smile and jazz hands. Jazz hands! "Ta-da?"
The Overseer pinches the bridge of their nose. There was not enough healing potions in the universe that were going to be able to combat this migraine. "I can See that! What I'm asking is why -- why were they acting like -- like drunken children?! Why was one of them so big!"
"Well, his name is BigB, so I thought --"
"Why were half of them the actual size of children?! Why did almost none of them know how use the most basic of tools?! Or jump?! They were all gagging! Especially that one!" The Overseer points to the screen that belongs to the player called Joel. "Why?! And where were the others?! Etho?!"
"Oh! You're an Ethogirl too --"
The Overseer grabs the smaller watcher by the shoulders and shakes them. "WHY?!"
This wasn't the first time they've had to deal with a game designer that had gone a little off the rails with creative liberties - just last season one of them had tried to keep a player, a fan favorite, for themselves, trapped inside the game world as their own little secret after the season finale - but this was something else! Beyond ridiculous! Only a complete and utter fool could have enjoyed watching any of this with genuine sincerity!
There was barely any lore!
Hanging their head, the Overseer sighs. "Just...please, explain to me what, in the name of the Void, were you thinking?"
The smaller watcher wrings their hands together. "...Promise you won't be mad?"
Biting their tongue, the Overseer nods. They have to know! They have to! The anticipation and indigestion is killing them!
"So...it turns out that, like, coming up with a unique gimmick? And messing with the code of the universe? Is not as easy as it looks. It's, uh, it's actually kind of hard."

Some random notes from yesterday's (25/05/2024) Scar stream. Not even all of the best parts because there were so many, at one point I was just laughing out loud pretty much continuously.
A chatter mentions Scar being the "mob boss." Scar is immediately delighted. In the shopping district he won't be the zoo keeper, he'll be the mob boss with his own outfit etc.
Scar built the nether portal for his train (it looks super cool!) and is now transporting skeletons to the nether so they shoot anyone approaching it because he wants to discourage people from using his nether portal. He put his own heads on the skeletons and calls them "Scar Junior." Only one of them dies.
Doc shows up for distraction and support. He teaches Scar things about redstone, like how you can place a lever on the block next to a rail to activate it. They complain about the new YouTube layout, Doc blames Elon Musk, who according to Scar lives in Doc's head rent-free 28 hours a day.
"just because you look like a taxi driver in Indiana Jones doesn't make you less evil"
Ren shows up too. Doc and Ren start to complain about shipping. Scar tells them a heartwarming story about his local UPS guy.
apparently Doc was a wandering trader in the woods as a kid. He traded home-cooked German food to American soldiers from a nearby base. For ammunition.
Next topic: the "worst" (unrestricted) fireworks. At some point Doc does an exaggerated German accent. Doc also made a joke about Scar being 48, Scar says he prefers the rumors about him being smart and handsome, Doc says that's just the truth.
Scar and Doc getting trolled by horns, including Cub shouting "help" which they both thought was real for a second. Chat suspects "horn man" is Grian, but it's such a huge variety I'm pretty sure it has to be Cub. Finally Cub shows up (briefly)
After all the skeletons were moved Scar wants to add a drowned. He got the go-ahead from Etho to take one from his farm. Scar blocks off Etho's portal and Doc wonders what he's getting dragged into, calls himself an Ethogirl once again
unfortunate realization: a drowned will not attack people with tridents in the nether because there's neither water nor night time. But then chat did experiments and they say it should work? Spoiler: it works very well.
the first trident guy refused to put anything on his head, but the second one put on Scar's hat \o/ so he can even move during the day. It becomes night though, Scar asked people in chat to sleep and Bdubs logs on ^^ a few seconds too late though, Ren slept first.
Oh noo, the trident guy hit a free-ranging iron golem and was killed. Bdubs joins the group just to say it serves them right. Bdubs is telling on them to Etho.
Doc refuses to mess with Etho's landscaping. Bdubs makes a walkway but very carefully. Scar, head in hands, this is what it's like with Etho fangirls… next Minecon, Scar says he'll print Bdubs a shirt with Etho's face on it. Bdubs says Scar is the one obsessed with him, coming over all the time.
Scar talking about a Hermitcraft rule called the "open seas rule", if something is built on the ocean it's free for taking. (Bdubs is skeptical)
Bdubs says dealing with Etho is like dealing with a rabbit. Don't pester it, you just have to leave it and it'll come to you. "How many moms does Etho have on this server." "This is what it's like having a friend." "Oh I wouldn't know" xD "We're friends not moms"
Doc complains about how hungry he is. It's late and he really wants to eat his mini pizza. Scar: why don't you just get a feeding tube, then you don't have to eat.
Bdubs: "I'm just taking notes for Etho later." Scar: "this is just Limited Life the whole time." "Every second is a second closer to Etho logging on and catching you guys"
Scar is now shifting the blame for their misfortunes to Tango because he never offered help or even made jokes in chat. Threatens to throw him out of the LNC, even ^^
"Ooh, you're not trapping Etho's portal!" "No, it's his own" "Oh there's no reason for me to be here then." Bdubs logs out immediately, then…
NOW Etho logs in xD "Etho's here, he's gonna come over here and cause an issue." "What's this about trapping my portal?", and other quotes such as, "I'm watching what you're doing Scar and it's infuriating me." "Put some water down" ("It's the nether!"), telling Bdubs he should have let his iron golem die instead of healing it, and "What you're building a rollercoaster over here, what is this"
"How do we do this, Doc?" "I don't know, give Etho some blocks and let him do it" "No no, I came for the show" Doc is just standing there with two dozen tridents in the ground in front of him xD
"You're like the muppets, those two older ones" - Doc about Ethubs. "We're the comic relief" "Yeah that's it"
Etho is concerned, they're representing Hermitcraft after all, people will think they're incompetent. Etho: "Tango, what do you think?" "Oh god don't tell me Tango's here." Tango is now here :D
Scar: "just to be clear, I am competent, things just didn't go to plan…"
Scar is in protest to both the nether and their nether hub. Etho: "If only we had a couple people around here often referred to as the best builders ever…"
Etho, contemplating the skeletons and trident guy: "So what are you going to do if Cub comes by with his Thorns armor?" Scar hides his head in his hands.
aww, Bdubs and Tango telling Scar LNC will help him with that mountain ^^
Doc finally logs out. Spoiler: he got his mini pizza.

They've been friends forever, they play off eachother super well, "he loves me", they're both so obsessed and in need of eachother but at the same time would rather eat raw, unpicked cactus than admit that, etc etc they're so unwell

Thankfully much less thoughts about these two or else this post would get way too long lmao. I like them but I'm not too insane about them I guess? Etho's very awkward near people he isn't used to which was fun to watch but made their interactions kind of limited for a lot of DL I feel.
Joel's obsession with Etho is hilarious and seeing Bdubs get jealous of his #1 ethogirl status getting challenged is great fun. He's definitely gone through a bit of an arc from "I KILLED ETHO! I KILLED ETHO!!" in Last Life to "Eefo D:< You're making me nervous, eefo D:<" in Double Life to whatever the cow divorce situation was in Limlife. It seems like Etho's otherworldly status has been nerfed in his head and he's much less intimidated by him, while still admiring him in that 'childhood hero' sorta way.
I think because of that I've always seen them a little bit as more of a mentor/prodigy relationship than anything else? Specifically one that Etho is not even aware he's in. Eitherway, I don't really ship them in the romantic sense 🤷♂️ etho's just way too aloof and joel's got too much fangirl energy for it to be anything intimate lol

one of my gemtho posts (it was tagged as such) got reblogged with 'oh they're such siblings 🥰' like i'm convinced this fandom just hates f/m ships 😭
LMAO found family dynamics have ruined this site’s ability to perceive anything other than “you want to kiss me so bad it makes you look stupid” dynamics as a ship.
and don’t get me wrong i love found family but dear god can we not make it nuclear family dynamics. family doesn’t start or end with parents and siblings. sometimes your family is just that.
i’m not convinced they hate f/m ships bc of cletho’s popularity, i just think they’re doing the fandom thing of overlooking women. gem is more than geminislay she’s more than grian’s sister (this happened with pearl too) she’s more than an ethogirl and seeing any interaction she has with anyone as “[nuclear family dynamic] coded” is strange to me.
i feel weird making posts like these bc i don’t want to stray into the “heterophobia is real” territory bc that’s not what i’m saying or what i think at all, and i know why people gravitate towards specifically m/m gay ships, especially in a fandom that is so male character heavy. it just feels weird to have ppl act so different around a ship that is arguably less technically controversial in regards to cc boundaries than a lot of other popular c!ships.
it’s probably bc the women in these man-dominated spaces are subjected to a lot more sexualization and harassment and they also have to deal with people reducing them to their relationships with men. so ppl see someone shipping one of the women that they are more fiercely protective of with a man that they know is more popular and red flags start to raise in their minds. which is fair! but i am anti fandom police bc y’all are, even with the best of intentions, not helpful.

Dynamics/ Team-ups I want to see in the life series!
Etho & Gem
You've seen their dynamic on Hermitcraft together. Do I need to elaborate. It'd be so funny. Gem is entirely unimpressed by his shanigans (shes an Ethogirl at heart). They would do really well.
Mumbo & Lizzie
I honestly feel like they would mesh so well together. Mumbo and Lizzie both have quite similar, awkward "I-don't-know-what-I'm-doing and-I'm-afraid-but-I-enjoy-the-chaos" energies. I think they would be so much fun. Would they be an effective team? Probably not. But would they have the most shenanigans? Yes.
Gem, Cleo, Pearl & Lizzie
TEAM GIRL TEAM GIRL i honestly think this would be the most amazing friendship it'd be so fun. Guys please.
BigB & Grian
They're friends irl and it shows in their dyanmic chemistry on screen. BigB likes to hang back and Grian likes to be the centre of things, and I think in this regard they'll help balance each other out. Also Grian has wanted to team qith BigB since 3rd life, they'd both enjoy it!
BigB & Martyn

I just feel like Tango and Scott would match each other's energies and playstyles quite well. They're both interested in the technical aspects of the game and playing to win, but neither are afraid to take a break for bits. Scott's building and Tango's redstone would be a terrifying force together.
Skizz & Grian

Martyn, Etho & Joel
This team would be a huge disaster. I can see the in-fighting from here. They would come up with the stupidest schemes known to man. They would all be besties. They would have at least 3 divorces. I have got to see this happen it would be brilliant.
Martyn & Gem
Both really like being witty and come-backs. They would be so smart together. Both of them are super competitive but also love the shenanigans and improv. I think they would also yes-and each other till the end.
Martyn & BDubs
BDubs doesnt get enough credit for his wit and improv, hes so talented! Martyn is the witty improv guy. They would be an absolute force together. They wouldn't get anything done, and would probably spend too much time spying together. But the shenanigans and rp would be fantastic.
Pearl & Grian
They would be the absolute worst. Theyd probably die horribly and fight all the time. Itd be really funny though.
Mumbo, Tango & Skizz
They just seem like they all get along really well. A good mixture of chilling and silliness. :DD
Mumbo & BigB
I want to see them hang out more they seem like they would be best friends itd be really wholesome. I don't think they'd win. I think it would be an excellent vibe.
Scar & Lizzie
They both have very similar senses of humour. They both love running with particular characters (see Fairy Queen Lizzie and Wizard Scar). They are both goofy and silly and loveable and threatening to blow your house up. Peak dynamic. It'd be amazing.

I just had a thought: who would Jimmy kill if he became the boogeyman in limited life? Cause I have a feeling that his options are kinda limited(pun not intended)I will be breaking this up to 3 categories; definitely not, probably not and maybe.
Definitely not:
Joel & Grian(yes they're listed together):Jimmy has never been the type to betray his allies in the life series, so I don't think he'll kill his bad boys(would either Joel or Grian kill him if they were the boogeyman? Absolutely, but this isn't about them so just shhhhh)
Skizzle:My man is on the door step to becoming a yellow life, he is incredibly dangerous(not just to Jimmy but to everyone else as well)and I don't think Jimmy would risk it all to go after a guys who is about to get legal rights to kill
Martyn:Let's be honest here, Martyn could beat Jimmy very easily
Cleo:She still has the flint and steel she used to burn the bad boy manor down, what is stopping her from setting someone on fire
Etho:With Grian being a ethogirl and Etho being loyal to grian because of the diamond sword he gave him, I'm just gonna say that Etho is a no go

Pearl:Pearl's a wild card, she's unpredictable so his chances are 50/50 on this one

- his lp. This is a given. From episode 1 to episode 500-and-something. Watch them all. (This is a task not even I have completed but BY GOD I WILL DO IT SOMEDAY)
- legendary. I'm bias bc I've seen this lp like 50+ times but TRUST ME it's so fucking good
- mindcrack season 3. And season 4 if you want rhat one was pretty good too. TW for mindcrack s3 tho the r slur gets used by other members sometimes, so i understand if you don't want to watch it. Other than that, many many great moments

This gets a little complicated but... as a hermit, Grian. As just a MCYT, Bdubs.
🐰 Who is your favourite hermit?
This is a hard question but... I have to say Etho (yes I admit it I'm an Ethogirl)
🐼 Who is one hermit you haven't watched yet but want to?
Joe - everything I see about him is so unique and hilarious but so far I haven't really gotten into his videos. Maybe someday, though!
🐸 What year did you start watching hermitcraft?
Okay, let's do the story now. In early 2019 I was watching some of Grian's building videos and stumbled onto his Hermitcraft series, which I started watching, got hooked on, and gradually started watching more and more hermits. I was really excited when Bdubs came back towards the end of S6 because I had watched him way back in Attack of the B-Team days, and at some point I learned that he had been in S5 so I went back and watched that. The videos were so familiar and I realized I had seen them before... I had watched his S5... so basically I was watching Hermitcraft before I knew it was Hermitcraft! I only watched Bdubs then, though, and had no idea what was going on on the rest of the server so I consider S6 to be when I started watching Hermitcraft.
🐵 What season did you watch first?
Season 6! I watched Grian's series from the beginning and caught up to episodes being currently released right around the time of the Civil War.
🐧 What is your favourite season?
Season 7! The Head Games, Hermit challenges, HWF, the Button, Boomers, Shade-E-E's, the mayoral race, Turf War, Decked Out, the Upside Down, HCBBS, Sewer Cats, Aque Town... so much good stuff!
🐝 What is your favourite hermitcraft moment?
Man, it's hard to choose, but I think my favorite moment(s) were Etho's meetings with Llama Dad in S7. They were so funny and the Etho and Beef vibes are impeccable.
🦝 Do you watch any streams?
A few! Mostly I watch Tango's Phasmo and stabby streams, and MCC (usually False).
🍂 How many hermits are you subscribed to on YouTube?
18 (70% of them!)
🍄 Do you only watch hermitcraft content, or do you watch their other videos too?
I watch other videos too! I watch just about all the videos of the hermits I'm subscribed to: Traffic series, Empires, Building with Bdoubleo, Naked and Scared, and Etho's singleplayer and modded series are all amazing!

You bet! All three of them have been some of my favorite series ever.

Scar's magical village in S7: the amount of detail was incredible and it truly felt magical. Plus it was only his starter base?!

Hmmm... probably Scar's chest monster shop in S7.

No, I would be too scared! I'm a perfectly average Minecraft player and I would be very intimidated by all the talented Hermits.

I would love to team with Pearl! She could teach me some building skills and we could do some shenanigans together, plus she seems super nice.

I'm less of an Ethogirl, more of an Etho Curator. I just accept all the information about him, sometimes seek it, not in an obsessive way but in the way of an observer. Like if I told you the amount of times people go and write in his Twitch chat despite the fact that it's cold dead in there. He has about 5 consistent lurkers/they have the tab open somewhere. And I don't even know everything, I just witness it. Half of my enjoyment is from observing the real Ethogirls too, I love you all and I love what you say and I think about the implications of it all constantly. I have lived and I have loved and I have learned. Of course I do really like him and his videos and his creativity and his voice and how fun he is, the rest is like a hobby on the side.
