i was created from the poetry of the lost, from dandelions and chirping birds who hear the whispering wind and dance to its songs. my lungs are full of flowers and smoke, a blossoming fire which floods my veins and bleeds from my fingertips. stardust in my bones, lava bubbling in my stomach, the cacophony of warring suns roars in the minutiae of my skin, saturating my pores, leaving me breathless with yearning. my soul shines with the push and pull of the tide, crashing on the shores of what could have been, what inevitably will be, before returning to its deep abyss and crying out to the moon, begging for change.

Been meaning to ask, is there a reason for the slight "redesign" for game Vanessa? Or did she just feel like putting lipstick on after becoming Vanny?

The slight redesign was to differ her more from movie Vanessa

Similar to how Mike and Michael look pretty different, I wanted a similar thing for Vanessa and Vanny, she’s more or less the same but easier to immediately tell the difference

Random thoughts

Hc that Katniss and Prim wear oversized pre-loved clothes bought from the hob, which are lots of men’s wear left behind by the peacekeepers. And it makes sense to get larger clothes to grow into and whatnot. So yea it doesn’t fit the best but they are mended and presentable! On another note I like the blue grey washed out aesthetic of district 12 in the movies so I tried to put that here

Yknow, I think part of what some people don’t get about Halsin and him being poly is they think he doesn’t love them fully, like you can only really love one person.

But that’s not the case for some people!

Halsin knows himself enough to know he doesn’t ascribe to that, and he’s open about it from the get go. Like you can’t sleep with him without him saying in one way or another that he’s open- he doesn’t say you have to be, but that you need to be comfortable with him being so.

I do wish we had the opportunity to ask him about a relationship, even if it’s not a traditional one with courting and bindings of labels and marriage and so on, but current dialogue doesn’t allow for it.

This gave me some overthinking fodder- If his heart doesn’t stir easily, why does he say he’s had many lovers right before that? I thought of the Drow scene and wondered, what’s the difference between me and them?

I finally figured it out while re-listening to his point and click lines for romance players.

My love.

It’s almost awkward in some of the recordings, like it’s tacked on so they can say that’s a “romance” line. (Admittedly he’s so naturally helpful, I don’t blame them for needing that delineation). Not to mention, they could’ve written him to just say “love” in that British way, which he does in one or two. I’m an American I’m sorry don’t @ me

After getting caught on that awkwardness, I realized the other part of why it kept catching my attention.

He’s calling you mine.

For a romance partner who seemed almost opposed to possessiveness, it blew me away to finally understand what might’ve been obvious to some people.

He’ll share his body with many and enjoy the physical pleasure of those bonds, even if they’re temporary or fleeting.

But his heart doesn’t stir lightly. His love isn’t given everywhere. His heart is an open ocean that can hold love for many partners, but that doesn’t mean everyone he sleeps with is his love.

But you are! You’re his. And he’ll constantly (sometimes clunkily) remind you when he buffs you, heals you, and helps you up, in or out of battle.

I remain yours, of course.

I’ve said before that my mom, while pretty okay with queer stuff overall, sometimes has trouble grasping that straight actors can play non-straight characters. And seeing her go through this with David Tennant as Crowley has sure been something

I think the funniest thing my mom ever said in her scandalization that David Tennant was playing (I know not technically but in her mind) a gay man was when I told her Crowley was in love with Aziraphale and she straight up responded

“No that can’t be true! Crowley did things with women that proved he was straight!”

And I am still. Trying to solve the mystery of what the fuck she meant by that because I can only remember Crowley having three meaningful interactions with women in the show

One he put in a catatonic trance

One he hit with his car

One was possessed by Aziraphale

So about a year ago, I started this Mewtwo style study, drawing some of the babytwos from members of the amazing commewnity, as well as some other characters from artists I greatly enjoy. Kappa, as a kangaskhan fusion, has natural motherly instincts and attracts children.
