no but fr im actually never going to shut up about sheriff jimmy. he’s been through so much shit and bullying and he tried so hard to hold it together. it was like the other rulers were pulling and pulling a rubber band, but jimmy always moved forward so it wouldn’t break, but when that rubber band finally snapped, when he finally couldn’t take it anymore. it came back to only hurt himself. he was so alone in an empty town with nothing and finally, after everything, he met someone who was just like him. and even though he was a drunk, even though he didn’t understand exactly what jimmy had been through, he still helped jimmy and made him a better person, and he filled that empty lonely spot in jimmy’s heart that he could have never filled otherwise.

he was so small, not only physically, but mentally. everyone always bullied him, always put him down, always called him a toy. and he believed it. he learned to believe it and it ended up physically changing him. he was so small, and he let himself become this way.

now, he’s growing. his way of thinking is evolving, and as he grows mentally, he also begins to grow physically.

he’s learned that it’s okay to let go, and now he’s going to go out into a new world, a new life, with his real friend and he’s going to be happy. because jimmy now knows that he doesn’t need a badge, or respect, or a town to be happy. he just needs a friend that will always be by his side no matter what

as he walks away from tumble town, as he walks away from the bullying and the teasing, he grows an inch taller. soon, he’ll be himself again, and he’ll be that forever

sheriff jimmy left tumble town and empires having finally made a real, true friend that loves and respects him and promised himself a new start with happy ending. i’m gonna lose it he deserves so much i hope they find peace and happiness and- [gunshot]

Happy new year everyone! This was my first full year in the dh fandom (late much?) and it’s been such a wonderful experience. You’re all kind, talented, hilarious people who bring me so much joy on a daily basis. I’m offline/introverted in my personal life, so taking the leap to make a tumblr account, post fanfic, talk to people, and even start drawing again were big steps for me.
