Set of 12 "Muppet Show" buttons produced in 1977 in the UK. They were also sold at the Muppet Stuff store in New York City. The manufacturer is unknown; the only marks on the buttons say, "HA! 1976-77"

Based on a Richard Hunt quote about Bunsen and Beaker’s relationship, “Beaker is a character very few people understood. They all just said, 'Oh, he's so stupid.' No, Beaker wasn't stupid at all. Here's this very kindly old professor who's always doing these things that never quite work, he's not really quite in this world, and Beaker grew an affection for him, and a dedication. FAVORITE part of any muppet related blooper is the fact I still haven't seen one where the puppeteer fully breaks character. like, they'll laugh along and crack jokes at their own expense or jab at whoever messed up the line but its always in the characters voice. 9/10 theyre referring to others and themselves by the name of their characters. truly to play a muppet is to have that character ingrained in your soul
