Hi, fam! Okay, so I'm going to be out at an appointment tomorrow morning, so I'm kicking this off a little bit early. It's technically Wednesday in several timezones and very nearly Wednesday in mine. I'm... also a bit eager to share this, ngl.
I know that I've shared a lot of angst lately, but I swear that's not all I'm doing. 😅 In fact, the actor/playwright AU decided to wallop me in the face out of nowhere after sitting in my WIP folder for months. I'm really excited about it, so I'm gonna share the first scene!
(Also, those of you who have been to New York with me will recognize my favorite brunch spot in this scene lmao.)

You probably didn't even know I was in the room, but I noticed you straight away. You were talking with your friends, happy and animated and fully alive—a person living in dimensions I couldn’t access—and so beautiful. Your hair was longer then. You were the center of attention, but you weren’t afraid. You had a yellow ipê-amarelo in your pocket. I thought, this is the most incredible thing I have ever seen; I'd better keep it a safe distance away from me. I thought, if someone like that ever loved me, it would set me on fire.
INT. MOM'S KITCHEN & BAR - HELL'S KITCHEN - LATE MORNING
"I'm telling y'all," Alex is saying, punctuating with dangerously large bites of his pancake burrito. "The dude's a dick."
It's been two hours since the nightmare audition, but Alex has been on this tirade since June and Nora first slid into the retro diner chairs across from him (at least forty-five minutes ago).
They're at Mom's: a restaurant-bar in midtown that can only be described as millennial nostalgia incarnate. The trio fell in love with it two years back—post-karaoke, stumbling in right before closing—when Alex saw God in their Fruity Pebble pancakes. Since then, it's been his favorite place to eat his feelings.
Mom's is just really fucking comforting in general, honestly; whether it's the televisions cycling through episodes of 'Rugrats,' 'Dexter's Laboratory,' and 'Hey, Arnold!' or the rainbow straws and Lisa-Frank-looking menus, Alex can't be sure. It doesn't hurt that they've made friends with several of the waitstaff, including an eccentric bartender, Pez, whose pink hair and painted nails fit right in with the decor.
Today, it's the combination of breakfast sausage, bacon, eggs and cheese wrapped up in a syrup-soaked pancake that's really doing something for him. It could also be the margarita the size of his face, which Pez placed in front of him before making himself uncharacteristically scarce. But it's fine. He's probably just busy.
Alex won't admit it out loud, but what really helps is having June and Nora here to talk to… even though Nora is scrolling on her phone.
"I'm sorry," June says. She pokes an ice cube with her straw, and Alex watches as it bobs around her mimosa like a buoy. "That sounds like it sucked, but if he's really that rude… maybe you didn't want to work with him anyway."
Nora doesn't look up as she pops a home fry into her mouth.
"Several sources say he's difficult to work with," she adds, evidently reading about Henry on the internet. "Though, in his defense, his dad did just die, like, three years ago… and there was that whole thing when he came out after. Remember?"
Alex does remember. Henry's grandmother, Mary Mountchristen, runs a pretty major company that used to own half the theatres on the West End. When Henry came out last year, she tried blacklisting his shows from her properties to punish him—which totally backfired when it got around. At least a dozen other queer writers and producers started talking about how they were also denied the space, and Mary was stoned on the streets of the theatre district. Like, metaphorically.
Alex, Nora, and June had just moved to New York, but between June's position at Newsday and both Alex and Nora on the audition circuit, it was all anyone in their new circles could talk about. They were some of the first to know when the Mountchristens were bought out of their properties and Henry moved to the States.
This show is the first of Henry's being produced here—and it's autobiographical, which Alex has to admit is pretty fucking baller. So, yeah, Nora's not wrong. He has reason to be standoffish. Still, it doesn't explain why Alex was only halfway through his audition monologue when Henry abruptly stood up and exited stage left as if pursued by a bear.
He shoves another forkful into his mouth. "It's just, like, they're the only people who let me into the room," he says, barely finishing chewing. "Nobody wants to take me seriously, and I really thought this was my shot, you know?"
June and Nora both know Alex is having a hard time landing serious roles after growing up on a sitcom—Nora more than most, as his former co-star. What they don't know is that losing this role, specifically, feels like a kick to the stomach. From the moment Alex saw the script, he wanted to be a part of it. He can't even explain why, and now he'll never figure it out. Henry wouldn't give him a chance.
"It wasn't your only shot, and you know it." Nora fixes him with a look. "Seriously, I get it—I do—but it's just one play, buddy."
June nods. "Something will happen for you, baby brother."
At that, Alex finally groans. "Okay, calling me baby brother doesn't help me feel better about the entertainment industry infantili—"
"—itty bitty, teeny weeny—"
Alex throws a home fry at her face.
It bounces off her forehead and into the giant gauntlet holding her mimosa with a very unappetizing splash. Just as Alex throws his hands into the air with a victorious whoop, his phone buzzes on the table.
A glance is all it takes for him to see that it's his agent, Zahra.
"Damn," he says, deflating. There goes that upswing. "You answer it."
June balks. "Me?"
"I don't need to hear how fucking badly it went. Trust me, I got the message." Alex blinks innocently, like he's six years old again, asking her to lie to their mom about that broken vase. "Please, Bug? Besides, Zahra actually likes you."
"Everyone likes me." June rolls her eyes, but she caves—answering the phone with a haughty, "Alex Claremont-Diaz's office," before breaking into a smile. "Yeah, Z. It's me… No, Alex is feeling a little sensitive today."
(He throws another home fry at her. This one misses.)
To her credit, June's face remains totally blank as Zahra no doubt tells her how Alex insulted Henry Fox's name and all of his inbred ancestors just by showing up, or whatever—which is extremely annoying and unhelpful—but, once she says goodbye and sets the phone back down on the table, her face breaks out into a grin.
"Guess you didn't suck too bad," she says. "They want you for the part."
He doesn't know if it's Nora throwing herself at him or the shock that knocks him onto the floor.

She and Baekhyun are best friends, and the reader thinks she's far from his ideal type. She's been in love with him for years but she's insecure and either Baekhyun is too blind to see her feelings or the reader is a good actor.
She's a great girl, but she struggles to see her own potential... Baekhyun is everything to her, and she to him. Baekhyun had noticed her jealous behavior for a while and became suspicious. He even caught her crying once. When he put the pieces together, he understood everything. After faced her, the reader tried to run away from him, but Baek was fast enough to catch her immediately.

"i think she's flirting with you", you told baekhyun, looking at the waitress that just walked by the two of you and shot baekhyun the prettiest smile she could manage.
"she's not", he denied, not even bothering to look back. "she's working on christmas eve, so i bet she's just trying to get a nice tip."
it was a tradition, at this point. you and baekhyun had spent the last four christmas together, as a sign of how strong your bond with each other was - either it was at bucheon with his family, abroad with your family, or just the two of you, like that moment.
for this one, sick and tired of being single (in baekhyun's words), he decided to take you too for dinner on the night before christmas. 'i won't be able to go to bucheon this year, so we should have a date night, and then sulk and eat leftovers while we open our presents at my house the next day', he had said, a month previous.
and of course you accepted. not only was baekhyun your best friend, but also the one you loved; like, actually loved.
there wasn't much you could do about it, to be honest. baekhyun had always seen you as a sibling, and that alone was enough to end any hope you could possibly have. on top of that, came the fact that he was just so... ethereal; baekhyun was the definition of a keeper, and any person who could have him was literally the luckiest person in the entire world.
"you can possibly think that every single person that smiles at you is just being polite, baek", you chuckled. "that's why you're single again..."
"does it bother you that i'm single?"
you tried your best not to choke on your drink as your brain screamed 'no, i actually love it' as an answer.
"i mean, i can call her over and ask her out...", he said, teasingly. "but you would spend christmas alone."
you just rolled your eyes at him, going back to your food and pretending like you weren't holding back a smile.
baekhyun kept the conversation going, as well. he told you about his family, how sad his mom was that she wouldn't see you that christmas; you told him about your plans for the next year, what you wanted to achieve.
cause, you see, talking to baekhyun was so easy, feeling seen was the biggest problem here. he could repeat every single word you had just said for the last hour, but could he see that you were wearing a new dress just for him? could he see that you got your nails done in his favorite color just for him? could he see that you were there, dying for him to love you back?
over your third glass of wine, the waitress came back to your table, the same pretty smile on her face.
"would the couple like to order some dessert?"
"we're not a couple", you instantly said, facing your glass.
taken aback by your answer, the waitress hesitated to turn to baekhyun, only to see him as surprised as her.
"um... no, not for now", he politely said. "can we get some water though, please?"
she hummed in response, before turning around to leave.
"wow, that was quite harsh", baekhyun faked a chuckle. "are you okay?"
"sure."
"are you really sure?"
"yes, baekhyun", you rolled you eyes. "she was just trying to check if you're single so she can keep flirting with you. all i did was give her the answer she was looking for."
baekhyun frowned, leaning into the table to take a good look at you.
"are you drunk already?", he laughed. "i mean, she just wondered if we were a couple, it's not that deep, y/n. we're together on christmas eve, it's-"
"no one would mistake us for a couple."
"what? why not?"
"because!", you exclaimed. at the corner of your eyes, you saw the said waitress coming again with a jar of water. she placed it on the table in front of baekhyun, and then proceeded to smile at him again before walking away. defeated, you sighed. "i am me, and you are you. nobody could ever think about us as a couple, so... i don't know, you can just give in and ask her out if you want to."
baekhyun scoffed at you, watching you as you took another big gulp from your wine. he silently took in your moves, the way you poured yourself some water and avoided his gaze.
"why are you jealous?", he finally asked after a minute or two of silence.
"i'm not jealous", you defended yourself.
"then look at me", baekhyun waited for you to finally look him in the eyes. "now tell me you're not jealous."
it was your turn to scoff, grabbing your glass of water and drinking a bit of it.
"this is stupid."
"yes, it is stupid", baekhyun agreed. "i think it's so stupid that even at christmas eve you won't admit why you're being jealous, that you'll only be petty and try to push me onto other girls. i don't want them."
you looked at him, damning him mentally for the way he was sitting at his chair, for the way his angry eyes made your heart flutter.
"i'm giving you the chance to be true to both of us, y/n. please, take it, and tell me why you are so jealous. i need to hear you say it."
"why?"
"because it's christmas eve, i'm at this beautiful restaurant with the most beautiful girl. you're wearing a new dress, wearing my favorite perfume, and you did your nails yesterday thinking about me, didn't you? don't think i didn't notice", he sighed, leaning into the table once again. "if we can't confess to each other right now, right here... then i truly don't think we ever will."
you kept staring at him, trying your hardest to keep your tears at bay so they wouldn't ruin your makeup. you felt like you were glowing, like your chest was now swallowing you deep into an ocean of something that you couldn't quite describe what it was, but if you had to take a shot, you would call it love.
"how long did you know?", you whispered to him.
"since your birthday", baekhyun replied. "but you're a good actress, i'll give you that."
you chuckled, shaking your head in disbelief.
"i'm sorry...", you told him. "i'm so sorry. i'm pathetic."
"yeah, kind of", baekhyun joked, making you both laugh. "i'm just kidding. you don't have to sorry, if anything i should be the one apologizing. i've known for so long now, but my pride didn't let me say shit. i just kept pushing away every girl that came around, and praying that you would do the same to anyone who got close to you, waiting for you to confess. everyday felt like i was gonna have a heart attack."
you rolled your eyes. "who's pathetic now?"
he laughed out loud, eyes turning into big heart emojis as you looked at him. just as you were ready to speak, the waitress came up again, smiling at baekhyun.
"do you guys need anything?", she asked.
"yeah, um... could you bring me some chocolate ice cream, please? and for my girl...", baekhyun looked at you. the waitress followed his gaze, smiling at you just the same and, maybe, baekhyun was right all along - she wasn't flirting. "anything she wants, please."

Gun x Gun?
Hold on before you think I'm not taking this seriously! I already stated I think Gun is one of the best actors on GMMTV's roster (if not the best), so understand that if GMMTV won't let him make out with Sing when both of them were giving us sexual tension as ToddBlack, or give Tor a little kissy kissy in Midnight Museum because they were brothers or whatever, at least let the man play against himself more. It could be like the Barbie movie, but with Gun being everything. It'd be fun to see, and if GMMTV wanted to go dark sci-fi, he could answer that age-old question: Would you have sex with your clone?
Neo x Phuwin
We had this. They were paired together in Cause You're My Boy. Then they were hinted at in Dark Blue Kiss. But then, they were made into brothers in Fish Upon the Sky, so Phuwin now has Pond, and Neo got Louis. But why though? Why were we denied another adventure of these two being paired up together?! I had them down on my hopes for a 2023 offering, and I'll have them down every year from now on. I want them back! NOW!
Earth x Papang
Aof was crazy for pulling this off in Moonlight Chicken, but now that I've seen it, I can't unsee it. And even more, I WANT IT! I have never seen Earth kiss like that, and he has had several partners. Did Aof strike a goldmine with this pairing? Papang has always done his job, but these scenes, which lasted no more than eight minutes, gave me an alternate timeline that I must see play out on my screen. Immediately.
Pond x Nanon
If Aof was crazy for Earth x Papang then Jojo was batshit insane for Pond x Nanon in Dirty Laundry. These two had a strip-off pole dance in a club called Boys Next Door, Nanon twisted Pond's nipples for information, then Pond's character had sex with a client with Nanon and Film's character in the car. This shit was wild, but that was only 15% of the hijinks between these two. I need them to recreate this creepy magic, and I need it to be twelve episodes long with at least 52 minutes runtime per episode.
Gigie x Fah
Since I mentioned Jojo, The Warp Effect is queer. QUEER! It gave use Fluke with Thor, Jan with Silvy (oh, my God that magical being could choke me!), and Mark with Best, yet, it toyed with us by suggesting the possibility of Gigie with Fah. Be brave about it, GMMTV! More than one wlw couple can exist in a show. Give me a redo, and this time, give me these two picking each other again, and again, and again regardless of what Alex (New) does with those Polaroids.
New x Sing x Fluke
Mentioning The Warp Effect reminded me that these three could out beat any historical trio including Destiny's Child, The Jonas Brothers, AND Charlie's Angels! Sing and New have been around for a bit, so I'm surprised they haven't acted in more together, but throw Fluke in there, and they had the perfect dynamic: Gay pretty boy and former bully with kinky puppy and space enthusiast trying to help out their bi idiot friend (it's canon to me). Sing and New will be in the Thai remake of Cherry Magic, so I'm sure Fluke could fit in there somewhere somehow. Make it happen, GMMTV!
First x Khaotung x Sea
And on the topic of throuples, this one hasn't happened, but by golly do I want it! Whoever paired First and Khaotung together deserves a Noble Peace Prize, but whoever thought of interviewing them with Sea deserves the Library of Congress Living Legend award and to be the Grand Marshall at the NYC Pride Parade. That person gets it. I'm not shipping them as actual people together. I want whatever chemistry they had in that interview to be transferred onto the screen and brought to me in 2024 because only a Year of the Dragon can handle the fire they would deliver.
Pawin x Satang
GMMTV, you know what you did in that Star in My Mind x Our Skyy 2 episode was effed up. I don't care how many times you pair Pawin up with other boys. You know what you did, and I'm taking this grudge to the grave.
Ohm x Perth
The fact that Double Savage cast them as brothers instead of a one-sided love affair was in the words of the most beautiful Raye a "DUMB DECISION!" Then to have them color coded?! THE AUDACITY! And no, I will not be writing about the colors because unless these two get paired again, as LOVERS, I will rewire this story in my head of what it should have been to deserve these two amazing actors partnered up with each other rather than the poop pile I got. I wrote what I wrote.
Joong x Dunk
If you know anything about me, know that I'm a JoongDunk fan first, and a human second. It has absolutely nothing to do with their acting even though that's what you asked for. It has everything to do with them. Much like the interview with First, Khaotung, and Sea, Joong and Dunk in their interviews are ridiculous. They resort to tomfoolery and instead of answering the questions, they start arguing about the most trivial details. ForceBook and GeminiFourth do this, but add in JoongDunk's live streams and Safe House footage, and I don't know how they get anything done when filming because they are either arguing, dancing, napping, or giggling. Hidden Agenda yesterday, please!

Big Sky: 3x03 Thoughts
I think this is my favorite episode of this season so far. I feel like we're starting to settle into the swing of things Big Sky style a little:
Luke is so full of crap, he killed Paige
glad to see Pedro is up and running, I was starting to worry about him
here we go with the Beau/Jenny push - like Elwood said, slow burn...right
Cassie picking the door lock - God, I love her & thank God Walt didn't hurt her
Loved seeing Denise ready to hike, she's too funny
Emily is so annoying - I'm sorry but she really is. I get that she's catching onto that something is not right with Avery or Luke but damn girl, your dad is a sheriff, if you're that worried then call him, instead of going all "I'm going to find out" and please stop tipping off the bad guys! I do see a full Liam Neeson situation happening in the near future the way this girl is going, she literally has done every thing on the don't list when in a dangerous situation - she is not the person you want to get stuck hiding next to, you'll be in trouble before you can tell her to shut it
Loving the actor that plays Walt (the way he immediately lowered his eyes when Sunny appears in his yard like he is submitting to her and doesn't want to challenge her, brilliant). I felt a bit bad for him when Sunny slaps him and then tells him that he's a disappointment. I now do wonder if it was him 20 years ago or if he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, especially now that Sunny told him he knows that it doesn't matter that he didn't do anything (and I'm not going to lie, something felt the tiniest bit off about Cormac and the way he interacted with Emily, then picked up her knife and kept it to himself, very weird)
More Beau and Denise interaction, loved it! Pumpkin enchiladas, that's a new one. Makes me want to try that now.
I would not want to cross Sunny
I had a feeling that Jenny's mom was using her
Beau and Jenny nailed the UC scene - they make a good team, I will say that
I am even more convinced that Beau lost his brother due to something shady/on the job/related to a cartel, now that he said that to Ivan
It was nice to see Cassie concerned for Jenny and I won't lie, I was kind of hoping for a scene where Cassie checks in on her, but hopefully we'll get that next episode because guaranteed, now that Gigi is linked to Tonya, that won't be the last we'll see of Gigi
Jenny is going to be even more gung ho about putting Tonya in jail now
and last but not least, that Beau and Cassie scene!!!! LOVED it, it was only for two minutes but daaaamn, I literally was going during the scene:
I just love their chemistry and the way they play off of each other. And the way Denise said "Well, sweet and salty *throat clearing* never fails" and then Cassie says "Did she just call me salty?" which Beau doesn't confirm or deny but changes the subject to what she's wearing. And the tight close-ups. The way Kylie plays the scene. Cassie kindly telling Beau not to worry, gives him advice, and says even more kindly "You don't need to go back up there." (I just hope this doesn't become a contention point between them later on should Emily be in danger, though tbf Emily works herself into danger faster than you can say the word) These two have just got me like

So yes.. I still go "ga ga" over Naruto, BLEACH, Vampire Knight, Ouran High School Host Club, and Full Metal Alchemist… the 5 periodic mangas i read that are still "ongoing"
demo.. [wahahaha… oopsies… i mean.. BUT…]
I have recently discovered.. or rather… ADMITTED and ACCEPTED to myself.. this NEW addiction i have..
ASIAN DRAMAS…….
japanese and taiwanese ones at that..
and to think i HAVEN'T delved into the korean drama world yet.. at the present time…. my most recent explorations on that being the ones 5 years ago..
so….. i began watching around december….. and it was just that. watching..
but then…. it became more often.. i mean.. it is still controllable.. but.. i suppose i'm watching.. in an UNHEALTHY rate.
and so… with watching these dramas.. i found new favorite actors and singers..
and now.. it's a habit of mine to SEARCH youtube every night.. before i sleep [like what i'm doing right now..] of videos of these asian celebrities OUTSIDE of their dramas.. aka… guest shows and variety shows..
and so….. apparently.. yes. I'm a fan.

The Nevers on HBO (small spoilers)
Joss Whedon created "The Nevers" but I'm going to ignore his involvement. Partly because he's a piece of shit, but also because a lot of other people were involved in the making of this show and I'm sure they put their hearts and souls into it. Anyway he only wrote one episode and directed three before dropping out of the show entirely late last year. They're definitely not marketing it with his name attached. The new showrunner is executive producer Philippa Goslett.
Wikipedia calls it an American show but it absolutely doesn't feel like it, probably because it was filmed 100% in England with a UK crew and no American actors (lol ok with one notable exception). The writing doesn't even have that "Americans writing about English people" feel. The writers, producers, and cast are all nicely diverse and predominantly women, which I'm guessing is why it doesn't feel like a Whedon series.
It's kinda steampunky, kinda not. There's definitely some science fiction to it but it mostly stays grounded in a believably historical Victorian London. It's not too Doctor Who or Firefly in tone, is what I mean.
The pilot is surprisingly sober for a story about an outcast populace of "mutants" referred to as the Touched ("The Nevers" is one of those odd titles that isn't ever said in the actual show). It's a mostly chatty hour of our cast coming together to introduce themselves and converse in a chilly manner. Most of these characters are unfriendly, if not downright nasty pieces of work.
The Touched are mostly female and have had odd powers bestowed upon them by...well I won't ruin it, but it's pretty wild and unexpected. Most people consider them cursed and a threat to the status quo. Many of their powers are pretty by the book (invulnerability, super strength, firebending, future sight, etc) while others are more strange. Apparently there are hundreds of them. And since those affected tend not to be male, white, and rich, those who are those three things think it necessary to do something about the Touched.
The cast is a chef's kiss of familiar English TV faces. My favorite grumpy bastard, Pip Torrens (formerly of Preacher and Poldark fame) plays the sinister establishment plotmaster against the Touched, Lord Massen, because of course he does. James Norton does a 180 from his role in Grantchester to play the inevitable posh hedonist who's part of an insidious secret society/pagan sex cult. The one American addition is Denis O'Hare (AHS) hamming it up beautifully as some mad scientist type. I mean there's a LOT of characters and that's barely scratching the surface. I haven't even mention the women yet, who are all perfect.
I watched the pilot twice in a row and yeah...it was really, really good. I definitely think there's some intriguing mysteries in there. It's not silly or insulting of my intelligence. Unlike some shows by Whedon I don't see that "sexy young female character trying to be a kickass feminist icon" thing he does in this. So yay for not pandering to us for once, I guess.

Have you mentally prepared yourself that Eggman is going to have a new voice actor for Sonic Prime? I gotta be honest it’s going to be really weird hearing it when the show comes on.
No :'((( Mike Pollock is my favorite actor of all time and having him replaced in my favorite role of many is really sad. It was amazing how he was the only one to play Eggman in English at all for 16 years and I was already sad when that streak was broken with carrey in live action in 2020. Then I was like well at least we'll still be coming up to a 20 year milestone with him being the only one to voice animated Eggman but here we are. Of course, I'm glad he's not gone forever and we still have him for Frontiers but I'm in love with his voice as much as the character and it's still sad that it has to change at all as long as the replaced actor is still down with playing the character.
Deem Bristow and Mike Pollock had the only two voices that I feel brought something so special and unique and really helped define his English voice. Deem Bristow was a fantastic first game voice and can also be partly credited for how we eventually got Mike Pollock's Eggman, as he started as a sound alike and turned into his own thing. Since then, he's brought such great talent that they kept him this whole time for a reason and it's damn near impossible to imagine modern day animated Eggman with a new different English voice. Mike Pollock's acting for him became so unique and impressive that not only is it difficult to replicate but also difficult to capture at least the essence it gives the character in English.
The Jiminy Glick inspired peaks and valleys in his voice, the certain type of gruffness that I haven't heard anyone manage to replicate accurately which makes it all the more unique and impressive... They're things that make Mike Pollock's Eggman voice so iconic, lively, and charming and I don't want to hear that change, I'll miss it so much. :') At this time, I can only imagine other English voices sounding pretty bland or flat in comparison, or trying too hard if they do try to put emphasis on energy in it. I mean, no hate to whoever ends up voicing him and obviously I'm not going to judge before we even know and hear it but that's all I can imagine right now. Plus, I do feel that way about carrey (I know he's a live action not voice guy but I do still think his talking for jimbotnik isn't interesting at all in comparison.)
While this is sadly very negative of me, I don't really know what more to think at the moment, aside from being a bit sad and disappointed as it's very important to me. But to be fair, there's not much to go off of right now so it's a good thing to not be too positive and hopeful. I also won't be able to process it fully until we get the official cast list with the characters actually put to the names (IMDB is heavily unreliable) and then it can sink in, I guess. And I won't judge until we can hear however it turns out but I can't say I'm happy with the fact it's changing at all right now.
I'm also going to take the opportunity to bring this up since I'm the only one that remembers it lol:
He tweeted this October last year when everyone was saying the game voice cast couldn't be in the show because of the Canadian labor laws (I think that was the term?) Yes, he was being intentionally vague and it doesn't confirm or deny anything but I really want to know what this was supposed to mean because of the timing. Maybe it was just to promote and remind people that he has actually been involved with voice work for Caillou as a WildBrain production like Prime is and that's all, or he was just hinting at a willingness to be involved if possible, or maybe something else but it's intentionally vague and I'm not saying that it does or doesn't imply anything more.
But I keep wondering what he meant here whenever people bring up how it's apparently impossible for them to have gotten non Canadian actors for the cast. And I'm aware that apparently all the confirmed cast for Prime are in Canada, at least that's what my brother told me. But then it just makes me wonder how Mike Pollock was previously involved with them and why he can't be for this, if such is true. Just something to think about so I'm not the only one scratching my head at this. Like is it not actually impossible but just rather a preference for the production because it's complicated? If someone understands this law stuff and already knows the answer for how it was possible for one thing but not the other then please let me know because I'm a dummy lol

Just wanna thank you for hating Aang, because I do too. I never liked him, not even when I was a kid and seeing people loving him and calling him a cinnamon roll 🙄🙄🙄... Geez, swear, I can't understand how people can stand him.
I'm actually afraid because I have this thing that if I don't like a character, is pretty common that I dislike the actor who plays it too and the little boy who's gonna portrait him is kind cute, but I already can feel the annoyance growing up on me. I won't hate on the actor, never! But I'll probably have some hard time watching anything else he does.
Btw, I was happy when Korra lost her connection with the previous Avatar, because this way, whatever comes next, is gonna be "Free Aang Zone" or at least, I hope so.
No need to thank me. Hating Aang is a service I provide for free. I don't like him because I know people like him. People who get by on their charm, and are perceived as 'nice', but lack any real empathy or care for the people around them. I don't think calling Aang a narcissist is too far off base. He was never my favorite character, but the comics and LoK made me absolutely hate him in retrospect.
But don't hate on the actor. The actor didn't create Aang or the problems with him. The actor was just doing a job, and well. I may hate Aang and everything about his stupid, Caillou-looking face, but I can't deny that the child actor did an amazing job with what he was given. And I'm sure the new kid playing him will do a good job, too.
I also wouldn't hold my breath on an Aang Free Zone should the worst happen and team Bryke decide to make another series. They will find a way to bring Aang back. They have to. That's their stand-in. Or they'll make a character that looks, acts, and behaves like Aang. Maybe they'll call him Dang. Either way, they will never let that character go. Their ego is too invested.

I would honestly love Techno if I hadn't been so twitchy about his previous ally-homophobia. But he is a fun character, no denials. Even if I do prefer his actor in LBC/LBC2.
Techno accepting the drink each time is amusing.
If I were Type, I'd probably kill Tharn for telling Techno when I so clearly didn't want him to know. How the fuck did he survive this relationship again? Ah, so they agreed. Nevermind, I suppose.

Look, I won't deny that they're being cute this episode. I'm just saying that this came out of nowhere and has no right being here. This is like Pai randomly accepting Itt's romantic approach because the writers wanted his parents to be homophobic. It's here because the writer didn't know what else to do with their dynamic.
I like both Type and Tharn as characters apart from each other more than together.
And, of course, we have the 'creepy, gay' foreigner to stare at Type like a piece of meat. Why not? That definitely fits the vibes of this show. And then grabs him and speaks in shitty English in his ear. Of course.
Man, this show is like a rollercoaster.

Tharn's family is the best set of characters in the show, seriously. I love them all. They deserved better than being in the rest of this show.

Remember kids, good sexual chemistry doesn't guarantee the rest of your relationship will work!

So I binged watched High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (Hsmtmts) season 1 about a month back. Now I'm watching season 2. As many, I was surprised to semi like this show. I'm impressed with how unique it is. I won't lie some things have irritated me or disappointed me, but honestly it's better than I thought. A little too much about relationship drama in season 2, but the moments about other stuff is really good. Holy heck all the kids are so talented, they all have such great voices. Can't wait to watch more. That aside I feel like season 2 is getting better, cannot wait to see the next episode. 2x09 looks really good in the promo which prompted me to think about how I feel about each character or couple. I loved that they brought back pretty much the same 6 background 'chorus dancers' in season 2. I know there's more, but actually including them like thed New years party, Improve, and the Quinceanero.
I know I may be hated for this, however I do not ship any of the four 'main' at the moment, they all have so much to work on. But my hsmtmts weird venting of feelings rant. Sorry in advance.
🚨SPOILERS AHEAD🚨
Nini & Ricky - First and for most I never shipped them after the first break up and the slow burn throughout the rehearsals for hsm. Not sure what exactly it was but they just didn't work for me. Communication was such a big problem for them right from the flashbacks, and I know it's a Disney show but a whole year to say 'I love you' felt strange when later we practically see them eating each other blah. Something did not work for me. Their chemistry died part way through season 2. Falling in love with your first love and bestfriend is really precious, but also so heartbreaking at the same time especially if things don't work. Because you never want to lose the friendship. Ricky was becoming too much and treating her terribly, which she absolutely did not deserve. Nini deserves to be independent, she is very talented I won't deny that, but I feel sad because she seems too disconnected from the group even with her bestfriend Kourt despite them placing the two together the last two episodes, something just seems off. (Now this may be just my bias of usually hating main characters when there's a larger cast trickling in) She's still amazing and I hope they can write her independent growth and connection to her friends a bit better, and give us something to look forward to for her character. She needs to learn how to communicate and not hide behind songs or running away. Also proud that she said she wasn't returning from Yac completely for Rocky, which would have been stupid. I would not want to see her give up her dream because he wanted her to. Now I will say their second break up was so mature and beautifully done though and glad she has her fans and music to help her get through. I want to see Nini lean on her mom's for support. Hope she gets an interesting storyline that can showcase how super talented Olivia is with that incredible voice, can't wait to hear more💖
Ricky, well dang this boy needs therapy. He has so many problems he needs to work through. He seriously needs the support of his parents and friends to help him through his break up and abandonment issues. He was becoming pretty scary during season 2, it was making me so uncomfortable. He doesn't like change and yes that's hard to get through but yikes he was almost becoming toxic in some ways. I also know it's very hard to break trauma engraved feelings. Ricky was so insecure that he had to delete a comment from Nini's insta, honestly felt kind of out of character(felt like it was reverting back to season 1 with Ej being jealous, and I did not like it). He's a great character and I hope they show him getting help and working on his issues. I know they showed him with his Mom, Lynn in the 2x09 promo(which is so hard because I don't like her) so I hope it works out and she can help him or that they can have a genuine heart to heart conversation about her actions and how they impacted him. Still don't forgive her for everything so put Ricky through in the first season. He looks so sad and I hope they focus on his mental health and concerns before even thinking about any other relationship drama(wishful thinking...). So happy Ricky had Big Red, those scenes in the montage were so precious and heartwrenching. Big Red just knew Ricky needed him. I want to see more of that friendship grow because it felt slightly lacked in season 2 but that could because he was too focused on Nini and that the rest of the group was growing. I hope they do not let Ricky and Lily happen, that would be such a mistake. Josh is crazy talented can't wait to hear more🧡
Gina - Gosh this girl just needs a big ass hug. I feel so sad and constantly worried about her. That would be so hard constantly moving around never feeling grounded anywhere. I really liked that Ashlyn tried to help with developing a 'home' for Gina. Gina being so independently powerful and strong-willed is a great attribute to who she is and I loved her fierceness in season 1, but I feel like I haven't seen much of that this season, still like her a lot. It just seems she's sadly always putting on a brace face, which makes me feel awful for her. Her pining of Ricky is my least favorite thing about her. I get feelings can develop and with how she fell for him in season 1 and he chose Nini in the end was really sad. But I must say I felt disheartened when she thought Ricky was the one to send her the chocolates on valentines day and was mortified they turned that miscommunication into a joke. Nope, that was not something I liked at all, it felt forced. Yes, they work/see each other in the musical, but with the confused feelings they both shared they really should have backed away from each other to figure things out until both know exactly what they want. It's not fair to each other or Nini and Ej. I don't ship Rina though. Gina in episode 2x05 had me so sad for her, she deserves the world and I was so sad she was internally saying goodbye to everyone. I hope we see her and he mom work on things that will be the best to support Gina. I 100% do not want to see Gina and Jack be a thing, I know they're actors but nope that would be too strange after watching Sofia and Asher as tweens on Andi Mack. Also they really went there with the 'I feel like I know you' seem familiar scene, why? I cringed, I know it's a nod to Andi Mack fans who most probably now watch hsmtmts. I hope we continue to see her friendships grow with everyone. Sofia is so dang talented💚
Ej - I just want to say he went from being hated, to one of the favorite characters in season 2. He became so likeable. Carlos' comment about emotion in the song Gaston was big progress from the scene in season one between the pair, it was nice honestly. I really like Ej's relationship with Mr. Mazzara and hope that he continues to support Ej. I think that can be very good. I also love Ashlyn and Ej's relationship. I hope we eventually see a apology scene or talking scene between Nini and Ej. I really do not like Portwell and I'm so sorry to the fans. But I just don't ship it. I would love them to be good friends and be supportive of each other, their conversation was nice in the 2x08. I hope we see more of his interactions with different characters and continue to see his relationships develop. Ej and Duke well that is a whole other thing. Him acknowledging his privilege and how he didn't earn it was great character progress and very interesting to see. I did feel super sad for Ej, because the boy clearly works so hard with all the clubs and teams he's on, his high gpa, as well as his many other extra curriculars. His Dad, Cash making calls was ridiculous and I'm so proud of Ej telling him he's not going to Duke. I hope we get to see Ej grow independently. However, the promo for 2x09 shows Ej either packing or unpacking boxes with Ashlyn in the room during the zoom call. So I'm worried it's either him helping Gina move out, or the more likely option. Cash Caswell kicked Ej out over him saying he did not want to go to Duke at the end of 2x08. Ej has so much pressure on him. Gah please let Matt sing more, his voice is incredible💛
Ashlyn & Big Red - Redlyn is really sweet and I hope things work out between them regarding them not going through more jealously and relationship drama. I do wish the writers would have explored Ashlyn's insecurities a bit more and with more than just Big Red. I did not like the using her insecurities as comedy in some scenes. Ashlyn being a Disney princess is amazing and such a good thing to showcase. I liked the way they went with Big Red and the career stuff. I see absolutely nothing wrong with him wanting to continue his families legacy and proud that he said that to Ash. Also was happy to see them working that out and her understanding and accepting that. When she finally agreed I was very happy. I don't hate Antoine, but I def don't want to see some weird love triangle glad they said they were working through that. I really want to see more of them together and separate as they're a really cute couple and I think could survive their relationship with independent plot lines. The valentines moments were too sweet. I want to see more scenes with Ashlyn and Ej as I feel they have lacked this season. So, I definitely want to see more of them together as besides drama club, they are part of very different circles so I was shocked to see them so close. However, the more we learned about the Caswells, it appears they grew up alone and only with each other, neither of their parents being home. With her throwing all the parties and him being at her house often and correct me if I'm wrong he sleeps in the spare room quite a bit after parties or in general at her house. Although he did just knock/ring the doorbell in 2x08 which I don't think we've seen before. And his mind else where with Duke and probably his crush nerves somehow forgot Gina was living with Ashlyn. Julia's voice is fantastic that high note in the mob song was just wow. Larry can really sing so well dang, glad he got to sing more in season 2. I cannot wait to hear more from them❤
Carlos & Seb - Seblos is absolutely adorable, that might be biased though because of Joe and Frankie! Even though they are playing characters I feel like there's a little of them that slips through sometimes and I find myself smiling. I hope this fight that keeps being spoken about can be resolved easily. I'll be really sad if not. My heart feels for Seb, as I get Miss Jen doesn't see him as a leading man but she broke barriers once with him being Sharpay which was awesome, he was amazing. So, I hope Seb gets a bigger part in the next musical, and that he and Carlos can work through their relationship dynamic and problems. Really sad to constantly see Seb be told no and disregarded. I want that to change and see him stand up for himself. I don't like that they're portraying him as 'dumb' honestly. Always hate those characters in shows. Sure they say funny things but it's weird. Carlos looks like he's overworking himself and being there for everyone that isn't Seb. Carlos does need to focus on himself a bit and find time for him. Gah I was so happy to see some of Frankie's own heritage represented in the show in 2x05. Carlos' relationship with Miss Jen definitely weirded me out initially😅 I thought the plant growing with them was adorable and the meaning behind the Climb was great, just too cute. I've saw someone mention they think Ricky is going to be going through too many personal problems and be unable to perform and that Seb would take over, which I honestly agree this will happen. Hope to see so much more with them. Definitely hope to hear more singing!!! Gah Frankie and Joe's voices are incredible. They both need to sing way more💜
Kourtney - I still cannot believe she was only meant to be a one or two episode character, she's incredible and I'm so happy they made her more than just Nini's bestfriend who the main character whines to. I loved how they incorporated her as an asset and fashion/costume designer. She's headstrong and so very talented. Really glad they added Kourtney as a cast member to the musical. I mean her step in scene as Taylor was funny, but it's nice to see her break out of her box a little. I hope her relationship does not deter her future and headstrong nature. I really really want to see her relationship grow with other characters that aren't Nini as they were starting to before she came back. Seb and Kourt were great. I'm still indifferent about Howie and Kourtney after everything that has happened with North High. The Harry Potter references were too great though. Can't wait to see where else they go with her character and even Howie. Dara and Roman have such amazing and jaw dropping voices. Dang I want to hear more singing from them both💙
So that was a long winded explanation of how I've been feeling. The show is amazing with such young and talented actors playing awesome characters can't wait to see where else they go with them. Definitely need more singing and dancing.

Russian pranksters claim they duped Prince Harry into thinking he was speaking to Greta Thunberg

Moscow (CNN) Russian pranksters said they had duped the UK's Prince Harry into thinking he was speaking to teenage environmental campaigner Greta Thunberg, in a hoax call in which he revealed details on his decision to quit royal life, according to a British report published Wednesday.
Vladimir Krasnov and Aleksey Stolyarov -- known respectively as the Russian pranksters "Vovan" and "Lexus" -- said they tricked the prince into opening up about recent tensions within the royal family that led to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepping back from life as senior royals, the report in The Sun says.
Prince Harry, purportedly believing he was speaking on the phone with Thunberg and her father, said that he was "completely separate" from the British royal family, the report says.
The duo claims that the two phone calls took place on New Year's Eve and January 22 when Harry was on Vancouver Island, Canada, according to the report.
Buckingham Palace said they would not comment on "the Russian pranksters."
In edited audio published by The Sun, the Duke of Sussex seems to address the difficult choices the couple had faced: "Sometimes the right decision isn't always the easy one," he said.
"And this decision certainly wasn't the easy one, but it was the right decision for our family, the right decision to be able to protect my son," he added.
"And I think there's a hell of a lot of people around the world that can identify and respect us for putting our family first," he said.
"But, yeah, it's a tricky one, but we will start a new life."
It wasn't clear what questions were asked on the phone call, and only the purported responses from the prince were published. CNN has been unable to verify the recording.
Vovan and Lexus claim to have previously duped other well-known politicians and celebrities, such as actor Joaquin Phoenix, singer Elton John and, more recently, US Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders.
A recording of one of the calls was published on the pair's YouTube channel with an animation of Prince Harry and Thunberg, according to The Sun, which published that call.
The recording has since been removed temporarily, the duo told CNN, due to an exclusive licensing agreement with The Sun.
According to The Sun, Prince Harry also mentioned US President Donald Trump in one of the calls saying. "I think the mere fact that Donald Trump is pushing the coal industry is so big in America, he has blood on his hands."
Prince Harry apparently went on to tell the caller: "Trump will want to meet you to make him look better but he won't want to have a discussion about climate change with you because you will outsmart him."
In 2015, the duo convinced Elton John he was talking to Russian President Vladimir Putin about gay rights in Russia. The singer -- believing he was talking to the President via Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov, who was purportedly translating for the two -- said on the call that "he was extremely honored" and that "it is a great privilege to speak to one of the most influential people in the whole world."
According to Russian media, the real Putin later called Elton John and apologized for the prank and said the two were "harmless."
The pair have a history of pranking people perceived to be adversaries of Russia and notably do not target Russian officials. But they have denied accusations they are backed by the Kremlin and Russian intelligence services, blaming Russian opposition for peddling this narrative.
"This is a favorite pastime of both the Russian opposition and Ukrainian officials, they blame all of their failures on external factors, such as the FSB, the Kremlin and so on," Krasnov said in a BBC interview in 2016.
Stolyarov added: "We can responsibly declare, and we have always stated this, that we are not a project of special services, we ourselves are self-sufficient people, we have our own beliefs, our ideas and thoughts."
Russian state TV has also favorably reported on the comedic pair, doing positive features about their work.

I never thought I would be in the acting scene. Especially since I hated being the center of attention. But something about being in front of a camera and playing a character made me feel somewhat safe.
I was able to be someone I always wanted to be and portray them in a way only I could and have people relate.
That's how it started at first. I acted in a few commercials and starred in the background during my years attending University, the small money I made being put away in order to help pay my tuition.
Next thing I knew, I had people asking who I was and if I had any social media. I was contacted by a previous person I worked with, them telling me their manager would like to work with me. I was quite young and my parents denied but I told them that if I could help make money in any way, I would take it.
So I took the job. Granted everything started off slow again, me being in the background and having small roles. It soon led to me being a supporting role and eventually, landing a role in the new Spiderman movie.
I was now eighteen years, four years younger than the male lead Tom Holland. I wasn't playing a love interest despite a few people I knew wanting one for his character.
I couldn't deny the role because, not going to lie, he is quite attractive and a total dork. But, I've always loved superheroes and it was a dream to star in one in any way I could.
I admit I was nervous, seeing as Tom's character Peter and I had quite a few scenes together and there was suppose to be some sort of interest towards one another to create some tension for the audience.
It didn't take a lot besides the director having us spend some time together to maintain a friendship so it was more believable on screen.
So here I am, an eighteen year old sitting across from Tom Holland himself and having a small lunch, each of us having prepared questions to ask one another.
"So, how long have you been attending University? How is it?" He asked, handing me a napkin.
"Thank you and uh, it's my first year. But since I got some financial aid to help me attend, I have to pay back a loan I borrowed. So far it's okay. I wish someone told me about time management because my first semester was completely horrid." I chuckled, opening the chopsticks nearby and stopping mid dip to choose a fork.
"You don't know how to use chopsticks?" He asked. I shook my head.
"I've spent hours practicing but I guess my fingers aren't meant to hold them." I sighed, twirling the noodles around my fork and stuffing it into my mouth. "Anyways, how is it being Peter? I know you get asked a lot but it's what I could come up with."
"Don't worry about it, darling. And I enjoy it. Like I've said in many interviews, I've always had a liking to Spiderman so being able to portray him makes it a dream come true." He laughs lightly
"Despite looking like a 12 year old?" I teased, raising an eyebrow slightly.
"Do people really say that? First they say I have a frog in my mouth and how I can't pronounce croissant. Now this?" He laughs a bit once more, his voice making me feel warm.
I won't lie and say I didn't have a crush on Tom. He is an amazing actor but the way he's such a dork and a goofball made me admire him and like him. I just wish he didn't call me darling because sWeEt JeSus that was attractive.
"So, besides that, is there a reason you chose acting? Is that something you're studying?" He asked, stuffing his face with the Chinese food we ordered.
"Not really. I'm majoring in psychology and thought about minoring in dance but there aren't many dance minors. I opted out for possibly minoring in English but it's not a for sure thing. But, I never acted in my life and the opportunity was given to me so I tried it."
"What do you like about it?"
"I guess being someone you're not. I understand a lot of actors contribute a bit of themselves into the roles they play but for me, I guess it's a confidence boost type of thing." I said, grabbing my water and taking a sip.
"Confidence? Explain." He asked, a small smile on his lips.
"I uh, I'm not that confident in who I am. I hate my body and who I am as a person. I'm high key a pessimist but choose to hide it and I am very easily manipulated. I guess being sexualized at a young age and being harrassed for four years made me feel even morr less of myself. So being able to play a character where I can include those struggles makes me feel like I'm not so alone. I hope that makes sense?" I said, furrowing my eyebrows and looking at him.
"Well, I can truly say you are a beautiful girl. I'm not just saying it. Everyone is beautiful in their own moments and from the moments I've seen you on camera, I can tell you radiate a light. I do see something in your eyes I haven't seen but that's what I find interesting about you. You were willing to be vulnerable to me and let me know how you feel in complete honesty, yet you hold something in those eyes of yours. They're beautiful if I may say once again despite them being the same color as mine but you get what I mean?" He said, clearing his throat and reaching for his own water.
I gave him a shy smile and nodded, the words he spoke making me happy. I have had people conpliment me and try to make me feel better about myself but the way he put things made me believe it the most.
"Aside from all...whatever this is," I smiled, reaching for a spring roll, "what is something you would want our characters to do? I've read the script and we seem to be doing these crazy things like a science experiment going wrong and it exploding in our faces, coating them in blue dust."
"I want us to do something in the rain. I could walk you home along with Ned and I guess all three of us have a heart to heart. Kind of like we did here." He smiles, looking at me and then avoiding his gaze.
"I think that would be nice. I could push you into a puddle and run away." I said smiling.
"I would tackle you then and there don't test me." He teases.
"Try me Holland."
Eventually, Tom and I got closer working on screen. I was only able to shoot during certain times due to my classes but I always made up for it, working on late work or doing homework during my lunch time or any free chances I got.
The other cast members would check in on me and bring me some snacks to keep me motivated and focused so I wouldn't be too stressed.
But there was one day where I was not understanding what was being said and it frustrated me to the point I slammed the book and cried into my hands, the stress overwhelming me.
I didn't hear the knock or the door being opened to my small portable but I did hear the swish of plastic bags.
I looked up and was face to face with Harrison, one of Tom's best mate.
"I'm sorry to disturb you. Tom told me to bring you some lunch but I guess I'll leave you be." He spoke, clearly embarrassed.
"Nono. Don't worry about it Harrison. I was just taking a small break from my work seeing as I couldn't understand it." I sniffled, wiping my nose and eyes.
"Maybe I can help? What is it?" He asked, setting the bag down near my books and taking a seat near me.
"It's physics." I sighed and he made a face.
"Why would you hurt your brain like that?" He asked, making me laugh.
"I thought it would be easy. It somewhat is but this topic is hard and I'm not understanding. I guess I'll email my professor for some more help if needed." I sighed, rubbing my face.
"Alright. I'm sorry I couldn't be much of help. But Tom made sure he got you your favorite, Chinese." He smiled, reaching for the bag and unboxing the takeout.
"That's really sweet of him. You guys didn't have to do that." I said, setting the box on my lap.
"Well he wouldn't shut up about it. He kept interrupting and asking if you had eaten and it took Zendaya to say she took you some breakfast and that was it." Harrison spoke.
"Mm well... When you go back to him. Tell him I appreciate his kindness. Also, thank you for delivering it. I haven't seen you around much as usual." I sighed, rubbing my left eye from any tears.
"Yeah. I've been running some errands of my own, listening to Tom gush on and on-"
My phone rang and I gave Harrison an apologetic smile, answering it.
"Hi Tom. No, I got the takeout. I appreciate it. Yeah no, he's here." He continued to speak until asking for Harrison, me looking and handing him my phone. "It's for you."
Harrison took it and spoke to Tom, casting glances my way every few seconds.
I set my takeout onto the side and regrabbed my Physics book, Harrison putting his hand out and stopping me before ending the call and handing my phone back.
"A scene with you, Ned and Peter is being shot soon so you're going to need to get ready." Harrison told me. I nodded and thanked him once more, waving goodbye as he left.
"Are you serious?" I asked, seeing the set design.
"Yeah! I talked Jacob into helping me get this scene and our director liked the idea enough to have us shoot it. He called for improvisation to see how it looks." Tom said, stuffing his hands in his pockets and smiling at me.
"This is so cool what the fuck." I said, earning a laugh from Tom.
We shot the scene and did as much improv as we could, Tom keeping his word and tackling me in the rain when I pushed him into a puddle and splashed Jacob, a huge 'come on!' escaping his lips.
"Cut! Great scene. Let's try it one more time and great job tackling her Tom. Make sure not to bruise her! And Jacob, great reaction!"
Jacob shook his head and laughed, handing me a towel to dry my hair off.
"I'm going to need a blowdryer or something." I sighed, the towel being worked on my hair.
"Why's that?" Jacob asked.
"It begins to curl. Like how it is now." I said, holding up a loose curl.
"I think it looks pretty." Tom spoke, ruffling the towel over his own curls.
"Thank you." I said, earning a wink from him and an eye roll from Jacob.
Filming was coming to an end and my screentime was becoming less and less which meant I was hardly on set.
But that didn't stop Tom from messaging me during his breaks to see if I wanted to get lunch or hang out with him and the cast.
I was walking to the lounge on set after one of my classes when I overheard my name being spoken.
I furrowed my eyebrows and listened, hearing Tom and Jacob speaking.
"She's eighteen isn't she?" Jacob spoke.
"She is. But I don't see that as a problem." Tom answered.
"What about the backlash? She's four years younger than you and people will find it weird."
"Oh please. There are women and men dating others more than half their age. Something about her intruiges me. I-I enjoy being around her. I can't explain the feeling being around her." He sighed.
"It's obvious you like her. We've all discussed it and even our director knows. Why else would he approve of that rain scene knowing it might not make the cut? He wanted to see the chemistry behind you both." Jacob explained.
"I do adore her and something about her is just ugh. I don't want to creep her out and feel like I'm preying on her. I'm not. I do like her Jacob." He admitted, silence following a bit after.
I was obviously shocked to hear the news because one, Tom Holland said he liked me,two, he said he liked me and three, he said he liked me.
But I knew where he was coming from. People would be quick to think he was being a creep and his fans would be hurt they weren't the ones catching his eye.
But I also wasn't so sure how I would be as a girlfriend. I have never dated and felt that if things wouldn't work out, I would be the reason why.
I don't know how to love myself and I feel like my anxieties and insecurities would get in the way after a while of hiding them so much.
I shook my head continued quickly to my destination, hoping they never saw me and knew I was listening in.
