Look I've said it before that I am so not prepared for American Girl (and should the series ever restart, Dear America) to be rapidly approaching Nine Eleven as a historical event to be covered, but I'm definitely not going to be prepared for covid to be covered as a historical event in a few decades

saw someone criticising hazbin hotel for "religious appropriation" of christian symbols or smth like that as if christian religion hasn't historically been (and still is) violently forced upon people and hasn't been so intrinsically absorbed in our society and system and thought that we don't even recognise how biased they are. like how ignorant and out of touch with reality do you have to be? you should probably read a history book rather than be watching cartoons darling

So I’ve been rewatching Trigun and I noticed something interesting: In ep 10 Vash fills out a form with his information, and while there’s some funny stuff here like his occupation being listed as “Love Hunter” and the fact that his height is listed as 7′20″??? (since he’s consistently listed as 5′11 elsewhere I’d assume this is either a “how do we convert metric to imperial” error or in-canon Vash insisting he’s WAY taller than he actually is) but there’s a very interesting detail regarding the date he wrote down for his birthday
He wrote down his birthday as being in July 0104. In episode 6 that’s stated to be the date of Lost July.
