Writing Prompt Ask Game

Hello, and welcome to I was bored and wanted to write but didn't feel like working on any of my millions of WIPS so instead I came up with prompts for an ask game! Persephone Riding the Bus

OMG, guys, you won't believe what happened today! 🚌🌼 So, like, Persephone, the queen of the underworld, had to ride the bus. Yeah, I know, the underworld queen on public transportation - talk about a downgrade from her chariot pulled by immortal horses! 🐎💨

Anyway, she's standing at the bus stop in her ethereal, flower-adorned dress, trying to look all casual. But you can totally tell she's out of her element. Like, girl, you usually ride in a chariot with flowers blooming everywhere, and now you're at a bus stop with trash blowing around. 🚮🍃

So, the bus finally shows up, and Persephone gets on, trying to blend in with the mortals. 😬 She's probably used to a red carpet entrance, not this whole "swipe your metro card" thing. She finds a seat, but, of course, it's next to some guy who's blasting his music so loud that even Hades could hear it in the underworld. 🎶🔊

But here's the real kicker: Persephone's trying to stay low-key, right? So, she pulls out her phone and starts scrolling through TikTok. 😂 Imagine the queen of the underworld getting sucked into a TikTok black hole on the bus! She's probably thinking, "These mortals and their dance challenges." 💃🕺

Then, the bus hits a pothole or something, and her phone goes flying. It's like a scene out of a sitcom. 👀📱 But instead of getting mad, she just laughs it off. I mean, you gotta give it to her - Persephone's got a sense of humor. 😄

Finally, she gets to her stop and gracefully glides off the bus like she's stepping onto a red carpet. I swear, she probably left a trail of flowers in her wake. 🌸✨

So, there you have it, folks - Persephone's epic adventure on public transportation. Who knew the queen of the underworld could keep it real on the bus? Stay tuned for more mythological shenanigans with a modern twist! 😉🔮

Sept 6 2022

Today I had to go in for bloodwork. I should have gone in yesterday or the day before but it was a stat holiday. Sunday, the local labs are closed. Saturday would have been too early.

I checked my bloodwork results online and my neutrophils are high enough (1.63 - they need to be over 1.0). Everything else looked fine, too. So I’m all good to start cycle 16 of Ibrance. I should have started it today but the results came in the evening and I prefer to take it in the morning/early afternoon as it can occasionally do weird things with my stomach. 🤢 Ibrance should be taken at the same time every day.

I already have the medication, (I asked if they could dispense 3 boxes last month) so I don’t have to deal with going into the Cancer Agency pharmacy. I’m starting a day late which isn’t a big deal. In fact, I’m happy I have a Wednesday start now. Trying to time my bloodwork properly by getting into the lab on a weekend (or over a holiday) is a pain in the butt. *sigh* Always something to keep track of. Luckily, this isn’t my first rodeo. 🐎 🤠

Last night my throat started feeling dry. This tends to happen in the evening. Same with my nose stuffing up. By the morning, it’s worked itself out and I don’t feel it anymore. However, it didn’t resolve this morning - my throat has been weird and dry all day. No other symptoms. I just went for bloodwork, so I believe if I was getting sick, my white blood cells would be completely tanked (as that’s happened to me in the past). I checked my temperature about 46472 times. It’s fine. I took some zinc and vitamin C lozenges. Drinking tea with honey. Diffusing some essential oils for immune system support. Dug out the COVID tests and read the instructions… “just in case”… because I’m that neurotic. 🤪 I know my anxiety gets the better of me and I need to get out of my head. It’s always something. “Is this a new pain? What’s that weird feeling?” …and it just goes on and on. In the meantime, my throat issue is probably from seasonal changes or I’m having some mild hay fever (I did sneeze once or twice, too 🤔). More accurately, I was likely sleeping with my mouth hanging open all night and the A/C dried my throat out. 😂 Anyway, hopefully it feels better soon and I’ll have some new symptom to obsess about. 🙄

Tomorrow is my kid’s first day of school. First time at a brick and mortar school in 4 years (she’s been homeschooled). So, she’s quite nervous. …and so am I! 😅😬 Hoping it goes well. Will be going to bed early tonight. Hopefully, I’ll be able to sleep…

Everything can be said here (as long as you’re within the constraints of common decency). But something that is nearly heard as often is “thank you.” After studying a foreign for 5+ years , I picked some of its cultural habits, including that touch of politeness and respect that comes with “please” and “thank you.” So without further ado, I would like to thank you, Archer. Over the course of the last month, I’ve grown attached to the network of anons you created here. (I like reaching out to them almost as much as I like reaching out to you. Although I have to admit most of our contact has been nothing if not contentious. 😉) You might scoff about it, claiming you aren’t needed anymore whenever I write to “new anon”, “star anon” or “unreliable anon”. But however you want to put it…in the end you are the linchpin that of slightly elaborate, very meta group chat. If you don’t publish all of our messy asks, and to some degree answer them, there would be no way for us to find each other. No Arthurian legend, no table of knights. So maybe the only conclusion we can draw is that you are in fact the Round Table. The one element that brings us together, and enables us from an equal distance; all on an equal footing. (Round tables don’t have a head, they don’t distinguish between table guests -> like every-(an)one is the same when they reach out to your blog. 🖤)

Talking about tables, yes unreliable anon, I was in fact referring to your quest for “tables to flip when ep 9 airs.” Not that ep. 9 wasn’t “table-turningly” intense ftr. Because it definitely was. I still haven’t recovered. 🥲

watching american vandal and they're hinging part of who they're saying did it on the fact that both the culprit and this other guy use the 😬 emoji "on accident" as a smile like I do shit like that all the time I use 🙃 to mean being upset and 😔 when someone posts a funny pic sometimes and 😶 or ☹ is always hilarious. posting a horse pic 🐎 is funny too. it's like people using the crying screaming laughing fake emoji it's just funny! everyone does that!
