I was almost asleep but I had a thought and NEEDED to write it down:

I want Caleb and Essek to live in a house with a Howls Moving Castle style door, one dial for a cozy home in Nicodranis a short walk from Brenatto’s Apothecary, one for a cottage in Rexxentrum with a small garden that’s right across the street from Beau and Yasha’s, and one that goes into their permanent demiplane/tower with lots of fey cats and a ton of space for when the Nein come visit. They are geniuses they could make this work somehow I swear.

ok idk if yall have read quintessential quintuplets (ive only ever watched the first season) ill still summarize it here.

BUT. quintessential quintuplets with dottores.

You meet one when you were younger, grew up and moved away.

Then one day you cross paths with all of them, only problem is that you don’t know which one is your childhood sweetheart.

Boom, chaos ensues. One discovers this, tries to make you believe that it was him who you met. Another tries to keep you to to himself so you don’t find out the right one. The ogttore remembers but won’t say it because he’s afraid you don’t remember and doesn’t want to ruin the relationship you two have now, etc.

can someone write this im too lazy to write it myself xd

picture this, villain does something bad right? the typical. maybe they're robbing a bank or being the usual pain in the ass idk THEN on their way back to their lair, they see a child crying saying they're lost. normally the villain would ignore something like that but, to their dismay, the child walks up to them and asked for help.

villain could've just left them there to cry their eyes out but they're just too cute and little like a pet (yeah, villain sees them closer to a pet than an actual human child) so villain took them back to their lair and ya know give them food and something to keep them busy.

now, here's the good part. villain actually tries to find their parents, unfortunately, they got nothing. it went on for days until they couldn't take it. child was actually a gremlin, touching things that shouldn't be touched and follows no orders. villain is stressed and wants them out of their hair. what will they do? of course — ask help from hero. who's better at doing heroic work than the person themselves amiright?

hero shows up at villain's doorstep, skeptic. but hey, this is the first time they heard villain sounding so desperate, so it must be serious. villain opens the door in their robe and cute bunny slippers with a jug of coffee. child is playing in the background with what seems to be a death ray. villain's henchman is having a breakdown on the corner.

"i will entertain no questions. get this monster out of my sight."

"why do you have them in the first place?"

"again, no questions will be entertained. get them out of here, please."

okay, that's fine. hero enters and introduce themselves to the kid. kid latches onto them and from that moment onward, it's hero's problem now. they got back to hero's agency, you know, did everything the villain did: search for their parents, relatives, address, and the likes and guess what?

child is an orphan.

the next parts are just hero trying to force villain to help them co-parent the kid and succeeded. maybe some (a lot of) domestic fluff here and there, mutual pining, family bonding that are agonisingly better than my own /j

the whole point is them trying to function like a normal family, then finally being one in the long run <33

now... if i could just add a teensy bit of angst—
