Hiii! Welcome back!!! After reading your recent post, i had a thought about what if the isekai'd Overseer was founded wandering around Fontaine when the Traveler had yet to reach said nation. Do Focalors still trying to arrest and judge the Overseer, or do they belong to the category of the divine that she knows not to make an enemy of?

Oh, I like this one. I'n usually afraid of writing characters before I have read all their lore (not me struggling with the locked voicelines for Neuvillette oof), but I think that Furina has provided the answer already - she is very much ready to put the Overseer on trial, and to make a big show out of it too. Why? Because of what happens with the Traveler, of course!
When the Traveler arrives in Fontaine, they are already known far and wide - Furina herself recognizes them and comes to "greet" them personally, albeit in her own way. I'd say that SAGAU Furina definitely knows that the Traveller is the First Vessel. There is no way she doesn't, either by means of being an Archon, or simply by word of mouth or the Steambird, in the same way she'd heard other things about the Traveler.
And what does she do as soon as we step foot in Fontaine?
Yep. An isekai'd Overseer would very much need to get their Phoenix Wright impersonation ready. I do believe she doesn't have ill intent, or that she actually wants to sentence the Overseer - it's more of a mixture of "hey, look at me!" and "I'm acknowledging your importance by coming here personally and making a fuss". One should feel honored, really. Furina likes entertainment, and I do believe that her theatrical worldview and the outlook of a lot of Overseers out there (guilty as charged) are rather similar - for us as players, the world of Teyvat really is a stage where a story plays out - better yet, it's a story wherein we can control the main character to make the story go further and interact with the characters! Of course, the difference lies in the fact that for an Overseer, the world of Teyvat really is just a game... while for Furina it's still her reality, no matter how many theatrical elements she adds to it.
As for whether she'd recognize the Overseer as a divine being she shouldn't make an enemy of... depends entirely on the way the Overseer interacts with her. We've seen her mask slip when the Traveler accepts her challenge ("Fighting gods? I've got a resume"). We've seen her take a step back in other occasions, too. But it all depends on whether the Overseer chooses to indulge her. The more drama-loving you are, the more you indulge in the theatrics, the further she'll go! After all, she's just found a kindred spirit. She's very excited if you play along! But if you're a no-nonsense Overseer with no time for her antics... she might just call in Neuvillette to accompany her the next time she needs to speak with you. Or she'll avoid the meeting altogether - forgive her, she's nervous.

01. Kamisato Ayato

“Ah I see…there are rumors regarding my engagement. Well fortunately, I can confirm such rumor. Hm? You would like to know more about them? Well it’ll be my pleasure to oblige. [ Name ]…they are my definition of perfection. I cannot imagine being engaged with someone rather than them. They’re determined—well principled, yet so full of compassion. I apologize, I’m afraid I have to stop now or else I wouldn’t be able to contain myself to stop. hehe. The traveler and Ayato eventually scheduled a tea time with you. And of course, who are you to refuse a tea time the the most renowned traveler. In the tea session, you both learn so much about each other. You definitely get along with the traveler and plans more tea sessions for the future—along with Ayaka too even. Ayato watches you get along with his friends and he can’t get rid of that small smile on his face as he looks at you with admiration <33

02. Kaedehara Kazuha

Distance brings fondness is what they say. Though it is partly true, you cannot help but miss those days spent with your lover. However, all your worries and despair are swept away when you feel a familiar breeze engulfing you. With a familiar scent lingering in the wind, you know just who it is. Every once in a while when the Alcor lies in Ritou, Kazuha never forgets to visit your family estate. Giving alongs gifts and greetings to you and your family yes he’s definitely that son-in-law material. Even with his constant life of wandering, he will always come back home to you <33.

“I’ve always dream of traveling with [ Name ]. Exploring the wanders of Tevyat with them. The human life is still bound to time and I would like to spend my outmost time with them. Hm? As like Kazuha mentioned, being the first born in your clan, you have thousands of duties. Though, once Kazuha persuaded your parents for your much needed vacation, you obliged. Because your clan isn’t going to die without you around for a few weeks right?
03. Albedo
About [ Name ] : Company | 🔓 friendship lvl 4
“ [ Name ] ? Yes, our scribe of the Knights of Favonius. It wouldn’t be a surprise if you do know of them. They are quite popular amongst the citizens. Oh? You’re curious about our relation? Ah it’s nothing much. They just like to accompany me during experiments in Dragonspine sometimes—to document the experiment of course. It’s only because of their job, really.
Albedo might not be one to indulge on such mortal emotions, but right now, dusty pink seems to take over his pale features.
Albedo is definitely one to keep a mental or physical note on his symptoms whenever your around. ( Increased heartbeat, nervousness, flushed cheeks, etc )
And when he finally realized his prolonged feelings for you, he’ll try to analyze your movements around him to see if he can confirm that you feel the same. And once his hypothesis can be confirmed, he’ll ask you out 😵💫
About [ Name ] : Sleepless nights | 🔓 friendship lvl 6
“ Being the scribe of the Knights of Favonius, there are quite many things to be done. Although, it is still not an excuse to spend sleepless nights. I have warned them multiple times about this. How sleep is important for the human body. But they are still always so stubborn. Huh? What do you mean I’m one to talk? ”
Bro Albedo is a hypocrite fr bc he also likes to spend sleepless nights. Though, in nights like this, where your work is piling up more than usual, Albedo takes the liberty to visit your office. The alchemist watches your scribbling figure with a displeased expression. And once your tired eyes met his, you know your done x_x. Now he’s definitely gonna drag you to bed for your much needed rest. But don’t worry, he’s only doing that because he cares abt you and don’t want to to die of exhaustion <3.
I feel like he is one to leave like a kiss on the forehead when you want to sleep and definitely in for cuddles. So the both of you sleep all your tiredness away, leaving all the pain of work for tomorrow.
04. Xiao
About [ Name ] : Insufferable | 🔓 friendship lvl 4
“ You want to know what I think about [ Name ] ? Why is that important? I’ve got other things to do…Fine. I think [ Name ] is insufferable. Everywhere I go they’re just…there. They clearly know how to get on my nerve. That cheeky smile of them makes me- Ugh never mind. ”
It’s been centuries since you know the yaksha. Being one of the Adeptis that contributed in the Archon war yourself, you empathize on his pain. So you took the liberty to make him at least a bit happy. To bring at least a little light to his lightless worldview. Even though it might not seem like it, your occasional visits to the Wangshu Inn, brings joy to his tainted soul not that he’ll actually tell you. But ofc you know it :p
About [ Name ] : Karmic debt | 🔓 friendship lvl 6
“ Yes. Although it is quite hard for me to admit, being with them does ease my karmic debt. Don’t even think of mentioning this to them. What? They already know? Tch of course they do. After hearing a call of his name, the Yaksha did not think twice to head to the location of the caller. His amber eyes that once show no emotions, averted to panic and worry as he sees you and specifically your condition. Sitting on the field of grass with an large gash and blood dripping from your leg, you look up to him with a small innocent smile. “Hi”. It’s safe to say that Xiao is not pleased.

ohh i have so many thoughts about him, thank you for asking! :3c
some general stuff first i guess? i think he genuinely loved his kids! and i think that he also liked kids in general, since he opened up fredbear's and all. i don't think he was the best dad, but i think he genuinely tried. and i don't really like when he's portrayed as abusive because i don't feel like it makes sense for his character.
basic stuff: 6 ft 2 in tall, built like a fuckin twig, scariest gray/green eyes you will ever see. charming bastard smile. missing a tooth because he's definitely gotten into a fight before. wears purple in almost every outfit and dresses more formally than needed. bisexual. somewhere in his mid-30's in 1983
hobbies include robotics, designing animatronics, acting, journaling, and juggling (canon btw)
british. that's not even a headcanon but i feel like it's being forgotten lately (matthew curtis' voicelines for him + he's not gonna have an accent in the movie… sad!)
very afraid of death

i think his hair would start graying kind of early because of stress. the man's a workaholic and has definitely done more than a few all-nighters :P
i also think he got married kind of early (in his 20's or so) from societal pressure and also oopsies!! accidental pregnancy! so yeah. michael was an accident but william still loved him - but once elizabeth and evan were born william kind of ends up ignoring michael in favor of them. and that causes michael's teen angst to get especially angsty which is why the bite of 83 happens
he 100% used to have a thing with henry. there's no way they weren't at least a little fruity. (from the silver eyes, "a search of his house had found (…) stacks of journals full of raving paranoia, passages about henry that ranged from wild jealousy to near worship." tell me that's not homosexual.) but anyways they both have families now, yet william still lowkey kind of wants henry. but will never have him because they are both doomed by the narrative :) (edit to also say. they are like a divorced old couple tbh.)
his opinion about henry swaps around a lot. sees henry as being superior and better than him even if, technically, william has made wayyy more advanced animatronics. or sometimes thinks that he's the best and henry would be nothing without him.
and now his personality!! i kind of try to base most of it on how he's portrayed in the books, with my own touch added on. basically he's silly! he's a great actor and he's very theatrical. he's also very charismatic, good at interacting with people as well as getting what he wants. but underneath all that he's kind of an asshole, he's really selfish and only really cares about himself. he's egotistcal and he doesn't admit his faults because he thinks he can't be wrong. so yeah. (this actually got really long so i condensed it down. more elaboration under the cut)
gets springlocked and dies in 1993. returned to the fnaf 1 location because he wanted to destroy the old animatronics, thinking that it might free the souls and let him avoid their wrath or something idk. kind of backfired on him.
post springtrapping he's had a lot of time to reflect, but rather than feeling guilty he feels like he needs to get revenge. he wants to kill everyone who's ever wronged him and that's what keeps him going, even in death. (also the only one he might ACTUALLY somewhat regret is killing charlie, because of how it broke his relationship with henry. but otherwise he doesn't feel guilty at all.)
and most importantly, the fnaf 6 ending (with henry's speech) is canon and he's dead after that :) no glitchtrap, no mimic, no FUCKING FEAR GAS!1!1!11
(the original, longer version of his personality here lol) i think that william is actually a very silly goofy guy! he's dramatic, he's an entertainer and an actor as shown by how he acts when he's wearing the springbonnie suit. although he's definitely playing it up for an effect there, he's still kind of uhh. theatrical i think. but he's also very charismatic and could probably smooth talk his way out of prettty much anything, which is part of the reason he doesn't get arrested after the MCI (also the lack of evidence). at the same time he has kind of a weird vibe to him, you can just tell there's something wrong with this dude, like maybe he's trying a little too hard to look normal.
and thennnn there's what's beneath the surface. william is kind of insensitive, self-centered/selfish, and egotistical. he also absolutely refuses to admit his own faults or shortcomings. something bad happened? not his fault! he was wrong about something? no he wasn't! another thing, william is very paranoid and usually feels like anyone or anything could be a threat to him (mostly because of that one passage from the silver eyes, "had spent so much of his life fighting like a cornered rat." and ANOTHER thing from the silver eyes, "he had taken on the mantle of bitter sadism as an integral part of himself. he would strike out against others and revel in their pain, feeling righteously that the world owed him his cruel pleasures.")
at first he kills charlie because he wants to bring evan back, and feels he deserves some kind of revenge on henry because it was HIS animatronic that did the bite after all, right? but along the way he realizes he enjoys killing. and that it feels so good to have power when he hasn't for most of his life. so he keeps going, and eventually all that comes crashing down on him. and it's tragic! because he used to have what many would call a perfect life. but he completely ruined that with his own selfish desires.

I think the first theory I saw from you is the “Meleanor’s soul is trapped in the mirror/Meleanor has some sort of connection with the mirror” one, and to be honest, I was actually hooked! I went on to read through the rest of the whole saga of “Crowley is Levan”, and rest of your theories, and now I’m pretty convinced. You’re *amazing* at coming up with evidence to support your theories! Even if those theories turn out to not be true, they were all still super fun to read, and made me even *more* excited as to what’s coming in Book 7. There’s definitely more than meets the eye when it comes to Crowley, even if he isn’t Levan. Lots of shit surrounding him is super sus, or just doesn’t add up, and a lot of your evidence makes sense.
But if your theories aren’t true, I won’t be disappointed at all, since I just *know* we’re all really going to be in for an amazing surprise as we get hit with something we might have never expected, since TW’s writing really is amazing and will continue to be amazing!
If your theory is true, though, you win bragging rights and get to say “I told you so” for all eternity. So really, it’s a win win either way 😎

When I first started this blog, I was inspired by both TWST and Kingdom Hearts theorists! The elements I loved so much from my favorite theories was the “evidence.” That’s what had me completely hooked, and I wanted to replicate what I loved most about these theorists. Sure- not everything turns out to be true, but I like adding as many in-game screenshots, novel lines, manga panels, etc so others can see my thought process and understand where I’m coming from. After all, perhaps not everyone has read the novel or seen Crowley’s Unified Exam voicelines! I completely agree! I have faith in TWST to write something incredible for Crowley, even if he isn’t Levan! It feels like my entire saga of theories has just proven there is a trail leading to…something regarding Crowley. There’s too many oddities with him to even count, and I think Crowley in particular goes unnoticed because he WANTS to be unnoticed by the player and the other characters. I have found that many players become so blindsided by their annoyance of Crowley, that any depth to character or the strange (yet purposeful) inconsistencies in his lines often go ignored. Crowley’s writing has been SO clever, that even after literal months of analyzing him, I can’t come up with a concrete answer for his future role in the game! 🤣 But that’s why he’s also so fun to write about- the possibilities are endless.
👀 I worry about getting an ego if I somehow turn out to be right about the Crowley-is-Levan theory! 🤣🤣🤣 Jokes aside, I can’t even imagine how that would feel to be right about something I’ve been harping on about for so long! Those potential bragging rights are quite tempting 🤣🫶💖

I'm going to apologize ahead of time since this ask might be long. Anyway, I was the one who was talking about the found family dynamic and spuriken (idk why I did anon). I hope I didn't come across as trying to convince you to change your mind. I just wanted to put my thoughts out there. I knew 1000% it wasn't going to be canon, but it still stings.
Anyway, I wanted to see what you thought about Ramattra and Genji. I've been thinking that they kind of mirror each other. An omnic with humanity forced upon him and a human rebuilt with machinery to help him live. I saw the cutscene with Zenyatta and the datalog where Genji talks about Ramattra's machines. I'm sure he saw a little bit of his Blackwatch self in them with their recklessness and anger.
It makes me wonder/hope that Genji will play a role in stopping and/or helping him heal from what he's done. Maybe not as large as Zenyatta, but maybe Genji can get to Ram somehow with his own experiences? I know Overwatch's story has just started, but I'm already thinking about where they could take it.

I agree with your take. Genji seems like one of the few characters who aren't Zen who seems to have an emotional understanding of Ramattra, and considering they haven't even met yet that's saying a lot. I think this would be helpful for other characters too, listen, I don't want Ramattra to get off scot free. He's actively taking the free will of others, something that we are shown in the Story Missions is a terrifying and wrong thing.
But we also can't ignore the fact that he is also being manipulated by Talon (which is something I want to get into in a different post). There is also the fact that I think a lot of characters, specifically Pharah, Jack, Reinhardt, and some others, might make risky decisions purely based on emotion and not think about the consiquenses of killing Ramattra (ie, someone pulls a Rialto).
With Genji seemingly taking a more grounding role in the story missions I do think he'll be a big part of making characters see the big picture in certain situations. We have to remember that, like Cassidy, Genji is at the end of his arc, but unlike Cassidy he's actually delt with his issues in a positive way, aka he's the only character who's canonically gotten therapy.
I don't think he'll play that big of a role in Ramattra's story, I think that's reserved for Zen, but he will probably play a part.
(Also I would like to point out that Ramattra and Genji kind of share a voiceline, that being when someone asks what Zenyatta did before the Crisis they both go "he won't tell me either", probably doesn't mean anything but it's a nice parallel!)

Even numbers for Dani from the Saints row ask meme!!
2. Describe your Boss’s fashion sense. Did it change after joining the Saints? Dani's fashion sense can only be described as "Biker chic" - leather jackets and leather pants or biker pants, lots of high contrast black and neon colors, namely pink and purple. Post Saints when she notices the color palate is shifting more towards purple, more so that.
4. Which voice did you use for your Boss? Would you change any of their voicelines or how it presented them? Or did they add to your meta? For the game itself, I think it was voice 3? Whatever sounded closest to SR3/4's American Female voice.
6. Where did your Boss come from? What was their family like? Still haven't decided where the Ashfords originated from, but Dani's family life was overall good. She's a child of divorce, but Leo and Shalini kept things as amicable as possible, and Dani and her sister Jai were loved and knew as much, and they're all pretty close. Really the only reason why three out of four of them got into crime was Leo's best friend Reiss' influence and then Leo's own indifference to being a dirty FBI agent.
8. How did your Boss meet their roommates? I figure something as simple as a coffee run where she met Eli or Neenah first and then they introduced them to Kev and the other one and the rest is history.
10. How did your Boss feel about starting the Saints? For my universe, they're well aware they're just another chapter of Reiss, Quinn and Audrey's Saints, so Dani's all for it considering it runs in the found family. And she's well aware she and her friends aren't as batshit insane as her 'half-cousin' Quinn is, so she figures they've got a decent shot at success.
12. What does being a Saint mean to your Boss? Going off the last question, it's continuing the family business and making a name for herself within it
14. If there had been another option besides starting a gang, what would your Boss have done instead? Why? Leo probably could've set her up on the straight and narrow somewhere FBI adjacent, but considering who the both of them are, it would've ended badly, so the Saints outcome is just as well.
16. Did your Boss enjoy LARPing? What story and attributes would they give their character? Dani would probably be pretty close to canon here. Like she'd hate it and think it was weird first, but give her a few weeks/rounds to get into it and she'd be all for it.
18. Does your Boss prefer bikes or cars? Do they have a favorite ride? Motorcycles are her Thing. I didn't pay much attention to the models in game, but probably one of the sleek, sporty ones that are borderline dirt bike-y, probably with that under-body glow
20. Did your Boss let their friends play their preferred music in their cars or change the station immediately? Is your Boss actually annoyed by Roger McGillicutty (be your own boss ted talk)? She'll give them the aux cord/bluetooth clearance except for Roger McGillicutty. She hates that guy.
22. Describe your Boss’s relationship with their friends. Would die for them, and knows full well they'd do the same. They're her besties. And Neenah might?? Be her girlfriend.
24. Did your Boss call on their friends often? What activities do they like doing with them? TBH I forgot you could call them til a few of those rough 'call x gang to x fight' ones, so... she'll hang out with them 'off the clock' per se, unless she needs them in a fight.
26. How did your Boss feel about the event before After Party? Hurt but not surprised. She didn't have long to stew about it either bc as far as I'm concerned she woke up in a hospital after the attack to news that Leo Handled Things. With his bare hands because no one messes with his daughters.

Kitsune, the Hakushin Clan, Saiguu, & Miko Lore Speculations
As established early on, Miko is a kitsune, one of the special non-human races roaming around Teyvat, specifically Inazuma. Inazuma is home to not only kitsune but bake-danuki, oni, and tengu.
While Sara’s arrival to the game didn’t give too much insight into tengu culture, we got snippets in her behavior and lore scattered throughout the region in books and the Inazuma reputation wings description. Itto’s arrival to the game expounded upon established oni lore and even incorporated a famous Japanese folktale into the game as canon within the history of the oni race.
With Miko coming to the game, I’m hoping she will do for the kitsune lore what Itto did for the oni. As it stands, we don’t know too much about the kitsune within the lore of Genshin but there are crumbs sprinkled throughout Inazuma in novels and world quests. So I’ll be laying down here what we do know about the kitsune and what I think will expanded upon in 2.5 with Miko’s arrival.
For anyone stumbling on this post that’s new to Genshin, I’d recommending skipping if you care about spoilers. This is mostly for older players of the game or those who are caught up.
Kitsune Saiguu: deceased. an old friend of Ei’s who perished during the cataclysm and a central point of focus of the Sakura Cleansing Ritual world quest. According to the Kitsune Chronicle novels, she doted quite a lot on Miko when she was still alive and Miko was hinted to still be grieving heavily despite her teasing and shrewd nature. It isn’t known why she banished Yuurakusai but it may have had something to do with the Abyss attacking Teyvat and cataclysm.
Kitsune: in-game lore says that after Saiguu’s death “their kind slowly dwindled, and the Kitsune lost their mystical might, and now no longer speak.”
Ei’s voiceline about Miko: explains that Miko used to be a lot more naive and gullible, someone who would do just about anything if you offered her her favorite food. Since then she’s become a lot more shrewd.
With all of this, I’m quite sure that Miko’s lore and voicelines will give more insight about kitsune culture, her clan, and quite possibly why there was a decline in kitsune. I’m expecting that her lore will detail her previous naive nature and what led to her maturing as she is now.
There’s also likely a chance we will learn more about Saiguu and their relationship before she died. At least that’s what I hope for. With most updates, the book stores around Teyvat tend to have new books to read and I will definitely be flawing to Yae Publishing House to see if there will be new books on kitsune to be found in the game.
(*small leak mention:* And if you’ve seen some of the leaks, the descriptions of her elemental skill and burst mention a hierarchy system among kitsune depending on the type of kitsune. So it would definitely be great if her voicelines, lore, and story quest talk about the different types of kitsune.)
If you have speculations of what you think might be revealed in the upcoming 2.5 update, definitely share! As an electro main (#IfAnEnemyDiesTheyDie), I’m really excited to see Miko finally coming to the game as a playable character. May all Yae Miko wanters become Yae Miko havers! And if you are someone skipping Miko in favor of Ayato, may you become Ayato havers!

I want to preference this by saying this is going to have Inazuma spoilers & spoilers for Kazuha, Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Sayu's voicelines.

Does anyone else find it interesting how different people have perceived Baal? Baal is the character I am most interested to learn about and see more of when it comes to Inazuma, so I have done a lot of research on her and her lore. She's a very difficult character to understand, seeing as we are only given information on her from a third person perspective, rather than through herself directly, but I find it interesting what certain people have to say about Baal.
While Thoma calls her "selfish" when we first stand in front of the Omnipotent Statue with him, a store owner in Ritou- Kaede -calls Baal "merciful" and "forgiving". What's even more interesting is what the playable/soon to be playable characters have to say regarding Baal.
Kazuha expresses his disliking towards the decree, but calls her actions in the duel against his friend "not unjust". In game, when we ask Ayaka about Baal, she says that was "emotionless", but in her voiceline Ayaka says that she believes that "Her Excellency must get lonely on the road to eternity". I have a huge suspicion that the line is foreshadowing either Baal's motive, her past, or her future.
Now, to move onto Sayu and Yoimiya, neither have anything terribly negative to say regarding Baal. Yoimiya discuses how her "fireworks are probably the farthest thing from "eternity" that the Shogun persues" and then goes on to express the differences between a deity and a mortal. Sayu express how Baal is "definitely not someone I'd ever get to meet".
I find these voicelines interesting because no one- besides perhaps Kazuha -expresses utter hatred or disliking towards Baal like we've- or at least I -was made to believe. Baal herself seems to cause conflict in people's characterizations of her in game. While some seem to like her, others despise her (much like the fandom).
Now, to speak about Baal herself, she seems to be an oddly calm- like Ayaka mentioned -emotionless character. While she keeps an even, almost unnervingly calm tone when speaking (in trailer/in game) her actions are brash and destructive. I feel as though, for somebody who enjoys doing character studies, the actions and tone of voice conflict a lot.
She's powerful enough to kill a god- the serpent -with a single lightening strike, and yet the resistance still stands. She's boastful and- perhaps -narcissistic, yet it is said that she wants to bring eternity to both herself AND her people.
It's clear that she has been an archon for- at least -500 years (if not more) and yet only a single year ago did things change so drastically. I wonder what could have changed her views so abruptly that she initiated the Vision Hunt Decree. I speculate that it has something to do with Celestia, and I think her motives may reveal to the players that she isn't completely in the wrong while also still allowing her to be a gray/villainous character, but still proposing questions in people's moral.
I'm curious to know if admins/others have any opinions regarding Baal/her motives/what could have changed her views to see visions as divine blessings?

Hello, sorry! I’m that anon that sent that really long Baal study. I forgot to add something that I meant to talk about and although it might not seem important, I think it’s interesting enough to share.
In the canon game, Baal used to- if not still does -really like Shibas. Both on the Baal wiki and in the description of Shibas this is mentioned. I find it interesting as to how someone known to be emotionless, tyrannical, and ruthless found enjoyment in something like a dog which is dependent, energetic, and outgoing. For a character like Baal, I felt like a snake or cat might be more suited to her liking, but that isn’t the case.
I think this is an interesting thing to note, sorry that I forgot to add this in the original post. 😅

i think you're right, anon! i talked to one of the npcs (i forgot which, and maybe it was on a side quest or smth, i don't remember) and they mentioned that barely anyone spoke up against the vision hunt decree because most people didn't even have visions. vision users are a select elite group anyway, so standing up for them will cause even more enmity.
i'm not sure if everyone knows this, but if you talk to venti after the prologue (and actually read/listen to what he says), he mentioned that 'people with visions are called allogenes'. like, yeah.... in chinese they're called 原神 (original or primary/primordial gods). that said, it's very possible that any vision user could potentially end up as a god (we admins have a headcanon that baal was either scaramouche's sister, or she possessed said sister. either way, she, scaramouche, and kujou sara look way too similar).
so it's possible that baal is securing all visions so that no one starts a revolution against the gods/celestia (as what happened with khaenri'ah 500 years prior), but it's also possible that she's securing the visions so that celestia doesn't strike inazuma. as we know, khaenri'ah was destroyed for being much too advanced (and presumably having too much knowledge).
one of my headcanons is that the tsaritsa is working to unite all the nations against celestia (it's been mentioned that snezhnaya is the most technologically advanced country, which likely places it next in line for destruction by the gods) and venti and zhongli are her allies, simply putting on an act in front of the traveller. baal, on the other hand, may or may not be compliant with said plan... i tend towards non-compliance, since if everyone was on our side, it'd be a boring story lol.
as for baal's characterization, well, that just goes to show how even the most seemingly-tyrannical leader has a side that's human, and how not everyone will disagree with their methods because most people are just simple citizens who want to live their lives. for a citizen without any means (even if they have the heart) to make a significant impact, all they can hope for is a peaceful life.

Lore wise it could be after the Ruination. Atreus has expelled Pantheon from his body with his own gritty resolve, Pantheon requires a vessel to take form in mortal shape but the war of the Ruination has caused so much havoc and strengthened him so much that he manages to keep a corporal form for a brief while. He retreats to the peak of Targon and to spite Atreus revives his long-dead friend Pylas to possess and mold his flesh to the war gods needs. Pantheon is fully in control because Pylas has long since died, only using the body himself.
Now Pantheon pursues the interests of Targon and his own dark desires while Atreus tries to actively counter the War god. Both will still fight the darkin, but for different reasons. Pantheon will do so because they threaten Targon Prime and Atreus does so to save the humans that's would undoubtedly die in the wake of the darkin.
VOICELINES
Pantheon differs from Atreus in a few key aspects (heh) where Atreus is noble and stalwart, Pantheon is deliberate and ruthless, where Atreus anger towards the gods is a cold and determined hate Pantheon's contempt for mortals, darkin and all those who would face him is clearly made evident, he speaks with pride, being condescending to everyone he encounters, thirsting for another challenge to vanquish. His LoR voice lines already highlight his personality quite well and I think the sound effects work perfectly for him, that could all be ported from LoR into league to replicate the sound effect. Voice line wise he could have interactions with the following:
Pantheon (Atreus) - While Pantheon does not outright hate Atreus like let's say Aatrox for example he sees the mortal man as a failure of a warrior, knowing only defeat his entire life. Interactions would be more condescending.
Ascended Pantheon - Here Pantheon would see Ascended Atreus as a worthy challenge, something along the lines of "Perhaps now you can prove yourself worthy." Or something more condescending. "No matter the cosmic might you hold, you will always be a mortal."
Aatrox - He loathes Aatrox with a passion for what he did to him, but also realizes that the Darkin might be his only true equal combat-wise.
Leona - Pantheon would be fond of Leona, applaud her for her fine work, call her the daughter of Targon, and that the sun is proud of what she has wrought upon the Mountain. He would tell her that she is right, that she needs to defend her people from the coming darkness and not grow careless upon her golden throne. He would support the militaristic order of the Solari and goad on their zealous witch hunt as in the end all he cares about is war and the more carnage Leona causes on the mountain in the name of the sun, the stronger he gets.
Diana - Diana is the same as Leona, he would tell her to keep fighting, to hold on and think of her people. That he can see the cracks in the Solari foundation and that soon the moon will triumph. Much like Leona, these are sweet lies to goad both of them onward to fight harder and grow more reckless in their pursuit of victory.
Taric - Taric is the antithesis to Pantheon, championing love and life against his war and hate, He would call out Taric and try to kill the noble hero because he spits on the ideals Taric protects.
Soraka - Pantheon would be disappointed in Soraka, to have forsaken the stars for these mortals, he would never understand and while he is not hostile he also tells her that she is dead to him. Just another mortal.
Zoe - He would want to know how Zoe sealed the Darkin away, and if there is a way to make them disappear forever. He would also be annoyed by her childish appearance/demeanor since Myisha was a lot more mature than Zoe.
Aurelion Sol - He would remind Aurelion Sol that with his return the tether locking him to Targon grows stronger again. It has been Pantheon for ages to bind Aurelion to Targon and now with him returned Pantheon will make sure Aurelion is put back in his place.
Other Darkin - He would simply tell them that their end is nigh, that Pantheon has found them, and that they are about to expire.
Other Gods/Demi Gods - here it depends on how many interactions would be wanted, he could comment on the powers of the sun disc being borrowed from the Sun/Solari/Leona's aspect or challenge Volibear to a fight. Lots more here if interactions need to be stretched out.
Sion - Pantheon looks kindly on Sion, a beast revived for war, its very humanity dull and eroded where only violence and anger remain. Pantheon would call Sion his champion of War and tell him to go slaughter in the name of war.
Other Warriors (Garen/Tryndamere/Darius/Olaf/etc) He would salute them and challenge them to combat, noting how a death at his feet is the greatest honor they can wish for.
A cool idea for VO would be that he gets a Taunt like normal champs but then you get different voice lines for ally champions when you hit taunt.
Example
Enemy Pantheon - "Atreus, you come before me again, with my very own spear. Kneel boy. A dog should recognize it's better."
Ally Pantheon - "You feel the power, let loose Atreus, show me your rage and perhaps you will be worthy of my favor."
Enemy Aatrox - "Another one of your flesh puppets for me to rend Aatrox? Pathetic!"
Ally Aatrox - "You and me against them?! Who can stand against Aspect AND Darkin?"
Enemy Leona - "You say you burn as the sun does! So then, show me your fire girl!"
Ally Leona - "The daughter of Targon and War eternal who could hope to stand against such a phalanx of spear, sword, and shield?"
I always wanted to have more interaction with allies, since you only see enemy champions every now and then, and even if you do they mostly attack you and never let you enjoy the interactions. Whereas if you play with friends you can actually enjoy this content of ally interaction. Idk why Riot has not done this before.
MODEL
The base design doesn't have to differ so much from the Legends of Runeterra Warrior design. (KEEP IT RED) Red stands for hot-headed aggression, red stands for fire, red stands for blood. Red is a color much more fitting to war than blue and the argument that Pantheon's cape is blue to show his allegiance with the stars is null and void since LoR showed us all HOW GOOD red looks on Pantheon. It fits so much better.
Some small tweaks here and there perhaps but overall the base model looks great. If the cape would be longer and more flowing like Yoric it would be great, aside from that there could be small visual design changes for reaching levels 6/11/16. Also as a longtime Pantheon main I really love the aesthetic of his face being shrouded, I dislike the new post rework Pantheon skins for that very reason. Pulsefire, Ruined and even Ascended Pantheon are all marred by the face that they show his face, when his facelessness was something that made him stand out. In this skin he should absolutely not have a face since he is a divine being that helmet should be his face, the face of war, nothing else.
The colors get brighter and hotter, to signal that Pantheon is getting supercharged with the psychic energies of war, colors would go from red-orange to bright yellow, additionally, the number of spears in his cape could also increase from 2/4/6 at levels 6/11/16 with small edits like the passive fire on spear and shield and the fire plume increasing in sizes slightly.
ADDITIONALLY
There could be a number of smaller tweaks to make the VFX stand out. Like pulling a new spear from his cape after Pantheon throws it. Or that Pantheon doesn't even throw the main spear but shoots a spear forward from his cape as he can manifest them. Voicelines like "Unstoppable, War eternal an Invincible!" could be added to his E whenever he uses it as if he mocks whoever dares attack him. "Here mortal, or just Heel!" when he stuns you.
His ult could be Pantheon coming straight down where the spear lands, instead of in an angle, and the angle is then covered by either a spear storm or meteorite shards. The straight-down Pantheon landing being a homage to Grand Skyfall. He does not land sooner and he still shoots down a spear first, but this time he just lands from above.
As for the dance, either you give him some workout to flex on people or you give him the Ricardo Milos dance. Which let's be honest, everyone wants to see.
Lore wise I think Pantheon is very important. Currently, we have Pantheon (Atreus) Diana and Taric who are all outright heroes. Aphelios serves under Diana and Zoe does not really care she does whatever she wants. Soraka while a hero lives secluded. Targon only has Leona as a villain and the celestial Pantheon would fill that slot very well. He is the god of war, he would try to rouse them all against one another and also give them a reason to unite against him. To fight together, and perhaps even be incentive enough for Leona and Diana to lay down their weapons and join forces.
Additionally, all it takes is a skin to create a champion's worth of impact on the league universe. There doesn't need to be a new champion from Targon to push the narrative forward which means less time that needs to be invested on Riots part.

In Genshin, who are your favourite characters: 1) Lore and story wise, 2) Gameplay wise (how fun and useful they are) 3) Visual design wise and 4) Personality wise?
(Yo so I swear that I hit post on this but I just found this in my drafts... it’s been 3 months... I’m so sorry)
...I uninronically have to say Zhongli for all of these, but I’ll also add in another character for each because y’all already see me ramble about Zhongli every day 🥺
| Lore and Story
Zhongli - Do I need to say more... I absolutely love the narrative trope of “ancient powerful immortal learns how to be gentle with humans” and that’s Zhongli to a T. Even before I knew about Guizhong I was Hooked on him and now he lives rent free in my brain at all times.
Childe - His lore is deeply interesting to me, what’s with the whole falling into the Abyss as a tiny Babey. I feel like he’s going to be the gateway into a lot of important story elements, such as more information on the Abyss, the lady who lives there and saved him, the overarching villainy of the Tsaritsa, etc. Also we just love 1 (one) feral little boy who tried to fight everyone, got sent to the military as punishment, and then fought so good that he got Promoted to fight MORE.
| Gameplay
Zhongli - Uhhhh I have him at C6 so that might might skew my opinion a bit but hands down he’s my most used unit, and that’s with me having all units except Klee. I just don’t die with his constellation heal and burst shield, pillar is always nice during exploration, the mans is a Mining Machine, and the petrification for controlling adds is just 👌👌 I’ve also always been fond of the “summoner” playstyle in most games AND I love filling the bruiser / tank role so Zhongli being both of them was absolutely perfect. That said, the Zhongli buffs are absolutely welcome for those without his constellations, only the best stats and kit for the CEO of GEO.
Albedo - Geo supremacy gang rise up.. I love Albedo for being a super solid off-field, selfless support — I don’t have any decent artifacts on him but he still consistently adds on so much off field damage to my Phys DPS Zhongli with his super low cooldown E. It also charges up my Zhongli burst like no tomorrow, 10/10 best battery. The yellow blossoms are also just so so pretty and the tactile / visual / audio feedback on them is 👌
| Visual Design
Zhongli - The man could step on me and I would thank him. He can kick me like his spear. I bleached my hair ombré so I could begin to touch a hint of his divinity. I literally stand there in-game and just zoom in on him sometimes. Ever since I got the Kamera my hard drive has been screaming for the sweet release of death from the thousands of Zhongli pictures I’ve snapped. I'm learning Liyue music on a piano I haven’t touched in four years, so I can imagine playing his city’s music for him. My right hand is muscle memoried to repeatedly run his attack sequence and stop at the spear kick animation so I can imagine myself being the spear. Yeah I think he’s kinda cute! 👀 👉🏻👈
Xinyan - Trying to stray away from 5* characters here. Love her outfit, love her hair, love her facial design in general. Her ult animation was the highlight of the 1.1 trailer for me (besides Mr. Zhongli of course) She got swept under the rug because of the Zhongli debacle and it’s super sad because she’s a very solidly designed unit with beautiful animations. I also love that her instrument is a traditional lyre that she canonically designed to look like a rock guitar.
| Personality
Zhongli - We’ll be here all day if I really really start poppin’ about Zhongli’s personality so I’ll try and keep it short. Zhongli’s personality is an ENIGMA to me that I have and will continue to spend countless hours studying. I’ve been thinking of releasing my findings in a character analysis, tbh, because like. There’s so much. On the surface he’s a well-meaning, kind, gentle if not a little out-of-touch individual with a flair for the traditional / fancy.
But??? He won the Archon war? We know from Roald’s Adventurer Diaries, where he slips into Osial’s memories, that Zhongli was absolutely BRUTAL during the war. What changed him? (Guizhong) How long did he take to change? What has he learned during the last 6,000 years of life -- certainly how to manipulate mortals like puppets, as we see from his Archon quest, which no one seems to address?? Is there some part of Archon-War-Victor Morax still in there, waiting for the right spark to ignite his fuse? Yo??? I’m.... just have a lot of feelings about Zhongli’s character.
Beidou - Pirate.. lady... hnnghh,,, step me,, ; ; Beidou is a character we haven’t seen quite yet but just her voicelines and story intrigue me so much. She killed Haishan without a Vision, stopped singing completely after said kill, is doing some kind of dirty work for the most powerful people in Liyue whilst boldly proclaiming that she is their equal,,, has a huge family and a heart of gold, seems to be against the social hierarchy of Liyue yet tolerates working with the Qixing? There’s so much going on and I for one am eagerly awaiting 2.0 not for Inazuma, but for seeing her in the story

oh how about Diluc and Zhongli for character analysis?
sure thing! i’ll answer this one and get back to working on other requests orz
diluc:
despite being known as a broody wine master and one of the few prominent characters that holds a negative opinions of the knights, he’s actually more sociable than the mondstadt storyline might imply.
diluc has multiple voicelines (if you get him through wishes) where he shows concern for traveler/mc, some being “all that matters is that you were safe last night,” “i’ll make sure you leave safely,” and “how about you take a rest while i go back [to the guild]?”
so, yeah. he’s not as distant or aloof as his initial appearance played him off to be imo. while he’s still on the professional side, he does readily show concern for traveler/mc, and presumably other people who work alongside him.
he knows he’s hot stuff – he evens says as much when clearing out hordes of hilichurls/abyss mages in the mondstadt storyline (”ah, there are you are. dealing with you will be the easy part.”) doesn’t openly flaunt his strength to other people, but, needless to say, is comfortable on the battlefield.
also, remember when traveler and venti try to steal the lyre? he says “for the record, i like your guts for trying to steal the holy lyre der himmel. even if you are fools . . . but we don’t often get to see people like you.”
aka he’s also a smart ass.
he knew that venti and traveler had something to do with the lyre, and dismissed the knights that came in either because a) he didn’t think they would handle the situation appropriately or b) wanted answers first.
while we (the player) knew that traveler and venti didn’t actually steal the lyre, diluc doesn’t seem threatened by either of them. he doesn’t rush to apprehend them, and from the quotes above, actually thinks the situation is entertaining.
the line “i like your guts for trying to steal the holy lyre” also reminds me of one of his quotes when he talks about jean (”her unparalleled sense of responsibility is the sole reason why she still hasn't found her true calling”).
while it’s not a call-back or anything obvious, diluc implies that rules/authority/strict codes have the potential to hold others back; therefore, i think he really meant it when he commended the traveler’s grit for trying to steal the lyre, because from the tone of how he talks about jean, he’s had his fair share of unorthodox behavior that’s gotten him to somewhere he actually wants to be.
overall a capable man and one who values effectiveness of method. while not one to uphold formalities (in a few of his voice lines, he says he’s “not interested in idle chit chat), he respects partnership and lets his dryness slip often. i can go further into his voicelines in a separate post if you want anon.
zhongli:
this is going to be a bit different than diluc’s analysis since, at the time i’m writing this, zhongli doesn’t have profile voicelines yet.
however i will be using voicelines from the liyue storyline plus the 1.1 update “a new star approaches,” so spoiler warning for 1.1 if you haven’t done the quests yet!
okay so
zhongli knows liyuen culture like the back of his hand because, well, he’s the god who created liyue to begin with.
when the traveler confronts zhongli, childe, and signora in the northland bank, zhongli explains his ploy calmly, which seems strange, since he had essentially traded his symbol of godhood for a ““vacation”” (i use this term sarcastically and will explain more below).
when the traveler first comes into a liyue, many of the citizens make a point to say that, in contrast to mondstadt, their nation isn’t “godless” and show disdain towards mondstadt’s ways.
they believe in rex lapis. yet it’s made clear throughout the storyline that, in actuality, there are large branches of people (see the liyue qixing) want to advance liyue further, often without the aid/overseeing of their deities. quote zhongli at the northland bank: liyue is about to begin its “next age.”
meaning that, even though he said he was tired, that he had been guarding and overseeing the nation for thousands of years, he was able to tell that liyue was moving past its need for him, essentially that he wasn’t needed in the same way as he was in the past.
while many players kinda sorta really did not like zhongli after he admitted to staging the fight against osial (the sea monster), ultimately endangering liyue, he not only did it as a “test” to see if the liyuen people really were as advanced as he believed them to be, but also so that the adepti could become closer to liyue’s citizens.
not saying that it wasn’t somewhat messed up, but his motivation behind such a scene was to make sure that, if he resigned as a god, then humans could take care of themselves from now on and he wouldn’t be putting them in more danger if he left.
the adept, although hesitant and somewhat troubled by being more involved with humans, show a change of heart following the conclusion of the fight against osial. so zhongli’s scheme makes the adepti see that humans are more capable than they give them credit for, revives their respect for one another, and leaves knowing that liyue is in capable hands.
as for trading the gnosis: it’s stated multiple times that zhongli doesn’t make unfair contracts. obviously, part of the benefit on his end is allowing liyue to grow into a new age, but that can’t be the only motivator for him to give it away.
tsaritsa wants to “burn away the old world,” and the story hasn’t been clear as to why yet. but in making the contract, zhongli should be aware of at least part of her ultimate intentions. my theory is that, in the end, the gnoses will actually prove useless to the tsaritsa’s plan (as in, they actually don’t help her achieve her goal despite their symbolism), or we’re going to receive the power equivalent to a gnosis in the future.
tldr: zhongli’s plan is layered. while we don’t have much more information at the moment, as can consider his character to be very thorough, resourceful, and self-aware.
again, i can write out more once he’s released. these are just my thoughts, so take and pick what you want. ^^

Astra:
No voice lines I could find
Cypher does not know Astra very well, and they do not spend very much time together without another agent that knows both of them
When they are alone, Cypher mostly just finds Astra annoying
Breach:
Breach! Breach! I took a servo from your arms for my tripwire. Don’t be angry. Breach…
Breach and Cypher love making trouble together
Their conflicting personalities and abilities have given them great synergy
At the same time his height, bulkiness, and general scariness terrifies Cypher and he is always careful to not pass any boundaries around Breach, but he will mess with Breach’s things
Their favorite things to do together are mess with other agents - using tripwires and flashes and concusses to confuse everyone
Brimstone:
Let me see if I can hack into that Brimstone's bracer. If he's anything like our Brimstone, he won't know how to fix it, haha.
Brimstone is considered a party pooper by Cypher
While Cypher enjoys being with Brimstone, Brimstone is often keeping Cypher from acting out his ideas.
Brimstone and Cypher spend most their time together training
Cypher is constantly pranking Brimstone by messing with his electronics
Jett:
Fly my wind assassin, do what you do best.
Jett annoys Cypher, but he also loves her sense of humor
The main thing they do together is play board games: Cypher loves chess to see all the angles, but Jett prefers classics like Clue because she thinks they’re more fun and doesn’t want to do strategy
Neither of them really likes card games so they don’t usually play those
They have a really strong bond, one of the strongest within the Protocol, and that can be seen by their synergy on missions
Killjoy:
Little engineer, I borrowed one of your transmitters for my camera. I'll pay you back, probably.
Cypher doesn’t particularly like Killjoy, and the feeling is absolutely mutual
They do sometimes geek out together over scientific discoveries
The activity they do most together is hacking people as mission prep but Cypher hates it because he’s the hacker and she’s constantly trying to correct him when she doesn’t know what she’s doing
Omen:
No voice lines from Cypher to Omen
Cypher doesn’t really like Omen, and Omen is relatively indifferent to Cypher
They don’t spend time together, though Cypher is intrigued about what exactly Omen is
Phoenix:
Phoenix, oh, you are really aggressive, I’m impressed and a little scared.
Cypher really likes messing with Phoenix
Phoenix is so gullible that Cypher can convince him to do anything
Cypher is also smart enough to make it look like he had nothing to do with it
Phoenix usually knows Cypher is messing with him but he finds it funny to go along with whatever Cypher says and keeps doing it
Raze:
Izze, don’t tinker with my gadgets. I don’t need exploding cameras again. The cleanup was so messy.
Cypher really enjoys being with Raze, even if she destroys his stuff!
She has this really positive energy that he loves being around and he can’t help but smile when he’s with her
He also appreciates her music taste and whenever they get drunk together they end up blasting music in one of their rooms for hours
She also makes great cocktails and is a great person to talk to
Reyna:
Reyna, jeez! Leave some for the rest of us... Or don't. Haha, I-I am sorry.
Similarly to Breach, Reyna terrifies Cypher
At the same time they’re really playful together!
Cypher has spent a lot of time observing her in an attempt to better understand her behaviors and the root of her anger but hasn’t been able to figure it out. Reyna knows he’s been doing this but doesn’t care since he’s not doing it in a way that threatens her.
When Raze and Cypher go drinking, they often take Reyna because she’s a riot when drunk - she usually ends up throwing around blinds and talking in fluent Spanish and the other two love being with her when this happens
Reyna and Cypher talk. A lot. They basically vent all their problems to each other and it feels like they new each other for years before either joined the Protocol.
Together, they give off the vibe of exes who are still great friends
Sage:
So, Sage, you can bring people back from the dead? Anyone? No constraints? Interesting.
Cypher and Sage have a, well, complicated relationship.
Cypher is very intrigued as to her powers, but she does not want anything to do with reviving Nora
Due to this, they do not have a friendship, just a purely professional relationship.
Skye:
No voicelines from Cypher to Skye
Cypher thinks Skye is... well, a bit weird
They play card games sometimes, but they have a strange on-and-off friendship
No one knows why they have this strange friendship, but they do
Sova:
Ah, Sova, my friend, that was amazing!
Cypher likes Sova.
He enjoys going out for drinks with Sova, but they never go drinking with Raze or Reyna
Kinda like with Jett, Sova has a love for tabletop games, but he plays card games
Cypher doesn’t usually play card games due to his casino past, but if Sova gets him drunk enough he’ll play poker
They also play Pool and watch other sports when they’re drunk together
Sova is also the kind of person that you can just share anything to, and they do that all the time
One of the other things they do a lot is go to animal rescue centers and meet all the animals, Sova loves to see how all the animals love Cypher and Cypher just likes meeting the animals
Viper:
Viper, who's birthday is March 20th? I found it when, uh...Haha, okay, okay, I have everyone's passwords.
Cypher loves pranking Viper because she’s so uptight and angry all the time
But at the same time, he also helps her a lot - he’s the one that designed several of her items, so they have a good relationship
He knows a lot of her secrets but would never share them because he secretly likes her a lot
She also secretly likes him a lot and is never really angry with him, it’s more of a show for other agents
When there’s nobody around they often go drinking or out to have fun together
Yoru:
No voicelines from Cypher to Yoru
Cypher hates Yoru, he’s too arrogant and selfish.
Cypher does his best to not be alone in a room with Yoru because Yoru will start a conversation and Cypher can’t stand talking to Yoru
Cypher has said multiple times that he tries to be friends but Yoru never asks about Cypher so nothing can happen in that friendship.
