Thinking about how deranged this thanksgiving was.
I hit a kid with my cane. I popped so many painkillers. I hit a kid with my cane again. I went black Friday shopping and came back only with things that weren't on sale. I hit that kid with my cane so hard in the shin he's gonna need a cane, too. I had a religious crisis. I threw my cane at that kid in the passenger seat because he said I don't need handicap parking. Some dude dressed in a really nice santa costume was just standing at the end of his driveway waving at cars and I barked violently at him. I fucking punched that kid. I spent more money on a dog than my family. I still bought that kid ice cream because I hate him but I hate the company I took the money from more. At some point I just fell asleep under the dinner table. I played Minecraft with that kid and he's a fucking loser. I had a whole therapy session in the car trauma dumping for the two hour drive home. I'm going to ruin that kids life I'm just too tired right now. It's been days and I still feel hungover. I didn't even drink.
Needless to say I think the spirit of doctor House possessed me for thanksgiving. Either way 10/10 would do again and Christmas is either gonna put me in jail or back on Lexapro

As autistic coded as Illumi is, he is also EXTREMELY Bpd coded. Here's a thread abt why that would be, from a person with bpd. 🧵
Everything about his character screams a person that feels so so much but forcefully tones his feelings down so hard to the point where they seem nonexistent.
On the exterior he seems like he couldn't care less about most things and is a very calm and controlled person. However, his emotions shine the brightest when the topic of interest is a person he cares about.
This is ESPECIALLY shown in the election arc where he reveals much of his emotions to the audience. He gets two whole bloodlust scenes this arc.
One with extreme anger
and one with extreme joy.
When Hisoka provoked him, it took absolutely zero transition for him to immediately spike his bloodlust and aura to GREAT amounts to the point of engulfing the entire MOUNTAIN and reaching Killua from SO far away.
And in the same exact second it happened, it ended just as quickly the moment he noticed Killua running away. That is a CLASSIC negative mood swing example if I've ever seen one. One extreme emotion in one second, gone in the other.
On the other hand, his second bloodlust had a small transition, one that still did not give you the expectation of what truly came after.
He is seen watching Killua on his phone and the moment Nanika healed gon, showing Killua can use her on command with no consequences and also showing her immense power, he was absolutely overjoyed. So much in fact that he exploded in maniac laughter and aura a second after merely giving it a small laugh.
We get a hint at his bloodlust incoming in that moment, but NEVER predict just how MUCH would actually come out. Classic euphoric mood swing number two.
When he encountera Killua with Hisoka in the background at the end, he is pretty much shown going through the five stages of grief in mere minutes the moment his own butlers turn on him and allow Nanika to come out.
denial, anger, depression...
bargaining.......
and finally, acceptance. acceptance that he was going to be traded by killua not only for a friend, but for the rest of the family's lives.
He was so very clearly unhappy about it at the beginning, yet came to acceptance in mere seconds the moment nanika came out. He bargained with himself, Killua shouldnt be able to wish twice, then accepted. even if he could, thats okay. go ahead, kill me!
and then theres also the way he just switches from a very :DDD to >:| mood in like one panel short hello he is so coded
Even more; Usually bpd is either caused through trauma or inherited. and you can definitely argue that illumi went through enough "training" for the former but. is his behavior not. familiar to yall. not at all???? im just saying......... I know someone else in the zoldyck family that has intense mood swings!
if there is one person in the family that shows their unfiltered emotions and switches from being calm to screaming in distress in a single second, its going to be this woman. she gave birth to a son thats a literal copy of her. she ctrl c'd and ctrl v'd.
and i dont exactly know what this next one has to do with the thread but why was bro normal for one second then turned into this i mean im not complaining hes still hot and ill claim him as my bpd son regardless

lets talk about badboyhalo stealing furniture
In a authoritarian government, what are rules? Most of the time, rules are used to exert control over the people. They are black and white, you broke the rule, you didn't.
Here's the thing though, like i have said. people are not black and white, and neither is morality, especially under an authoritarian government.
The complexity truly needed to serve out "justice" would require making court cases like fingerprints and tiger stripes, each one seperate and different. << Thus, impossible to regulate and keep free from imperfection.
what is stealing furniture to q!bbh? but a form of anarchy? even before Forever's government existed, before government enforced rules there was Fed rules, and... social rules.
breaking into a house through the window = bad, was a rule enforced by societal expectations of respect, not by prison. stealing furniture=bad was the same way.
i shouldnt have to explain this but labor in minecraft is different than labor irl, it is easier to craft a couch in minecraft than build it from scratch. the emotional and physical labor required to make up for q!bad's transgression in the world of minecraft mechanics is much less than irl. you can claim that in the story of minecraft rp, that it is actually just like the real world, and when a player in rp crafts something, they are building it. but i like to believe that mechanics play into this, that the story is different because it is in minecraft, not irl, not a movie, or a play, or a book.
the crime of 'stealing furniture' was q!bad's way of poking at social rules, thats what pranks are sometimes. but now, the government handles this, the government takes what was previously lightly broken in jest, and views it as a big slight. thats what laws do, they take. a complicated web of fault and anger and frustration and make it someone else's work.
you take something like stealing furniture, and change it from a social rule to a government law, and the consequences drastically increase in weight and duration. instead of being confronted about the theft and someone being mad at you, which is a social consequence, you now have the added consequence of time in prison, what does this teach you about your actions? uh, theyre bad, cause uh, theyre bad. the social consequence is more nuanced and allows growth, prison allows cycles.
why does q!bbh steal furniture? well, in my mind, simple. he is stretching social rules, breaking them, do see what his friends do. good friends (in mine and his eyes) will not immediately hurt him for this, they will see it as what it is, a joke, an easy to fix prank. and it was! for a while! until someone ELSE took his joke too far, and he had a mob of angry friends against him.
TLDR: stop thinking that q!bad stealing furniture = needing time in prison in order to 'fix it', while he is not showing remorse rn, prison still wouldnt help in anyway, plus its trivialllll

When did this become a thing? There's no rule in the server about it. Nor has there been an announcement about this new rule.
Dont get me wrong, i get it. Its a server with minors in it. Its smart of em. But, there is no rule about it that id seen?? Besides that point... How you going to control someones profile like that??
Its not like its going to stop the minors from seeing it regardless. Cause if the two dm cause commission or whatever, they are still going to see it anyway?! And you reallllly cant tell someone they have to change their pfp OUTSIDE the server. Its their profile afterall.
This is 100% why i believe minors shouldnt be involved in CS spaces too. Because regardless of any rule put in place about nsfw content.. They will still see and be subjected to this content if theres a customer/client chat going on due to commissions. You can control a persons server profile, but outside of that... You cant.
And if the adults all start putting in their ads "Please no minors, as it makes me uncomfortable," or whatever other thing they could write... Will probably get bad backlash in a server full of well...children. Including some of the actual adults too. I can just see this being a huge thing from both sides.
The minors being upset they cant offer their art/comms. The childish adults who just cant handle too... Then a big ol whine fest about it all.
Even though the adults are just trying to keep the minors and themselves safe.
But ye.. Either way... This rule should probably be announced and added in bold somewhere. Cause i didnt, nor have seen, this one in this server. Still a worry, but... Still glad its there too.
I just am seeing both sides of what could happen here though.
i mean im gonna be fr, i do not see the issue with this. i think its pretty implied that no NSFW whatsoever is allowed seeing as terras has always advertised itself as being minor friendly, so it would just be looped in with the no NSFW images rule.
there is a trade discussion chat, if the person wanted to keep their actual profile NSFW but have talks about comms they can do it in the other chat, it doesnt HAVE to go to dms
also ive really never seen an issue with people saying they only want adults to commission them, and even if someone complained i dont think itd be received well by other members or by staff
i understand your angle of playing devils advocate but i honestly dont think this is an issue, at best its an attempt to minimize any foul play and exposure of NSFW to minors, and at worst its a measure that, while effective in some areas, has some oversights in others

AN: based on actual conversations ive had with the besties, the girls that get it get it
"so," you started as you turned down the nob on the radio ignoring the glare sam sent your way as you did so. you knew your uncle hated when people messed with his stereo but since it was your van he was driving you did as you please.
as dangerous as it was for you to be in a van packed with avengers you couldnt help but smile to yourself. sam had initially refused to go with you to this festival but lucky for you; a set of puppy dog eyes and a pout at bucky later, along the teams surprise at bucky wanting to go to a social event and here you were well on your way with your favourite people to see some of your favourite artists.
you tied your braids up in a bun before turning to look back between steve and bucky, both looking at you with curious eyes. you could get lost in bucky's storm blue eyes any day of the week but you told yourself to hold off on it for now, instead looking past them at the very back seat of your busted van that held natasha, yelena, and the lastly tony who your question was directed towards. "how much diversity training did yall put steve through before yall let him talk in public?"
the van was dead silent, you and tony locked in a starring contest; you didnt notice the very confused look on steve's face at all.
after a few moments your uncle couldnt keep it together and slapped the steering wheel howling like mad. "she said diversity-" the man couldnt even finish his sentence the way his tears was collecting in his eyes.
you could see natasha biting her lips, head facing the window, shaking with laughter she refused to let out.
you rolled your eyes at their surprise. you assumed even if your uncle hadnt asked about it before, somebody had to of. "im serious," you said turning to steve. it was lighthearted but you were filled with genuine curiosity, the thought popping into your head moments ago as tony had been ranting about pr after another hulk incident. "like after shield woke you up did you jump when you first saw a black person in the same restaurant as you?"
natasha and yelena both lost it in the back seat at that, sam wheezing beside you as he tried to keep the van on the road.
you'd been told your whole life you had a big mouth and it wasnt something that bothered you at all. you had questions, you wanted answers. simple as that. that was the reason you were sitting here now in a staredown with captain america, both of you unblinking, in your hormone monster hoodie.
you hated the show but your uncle had gifted it to you saying it reminded him of you- a big mouth.
whatever steve had been about to say once he stopped opening and closing his mouth like a fish, yelena beat him to it. "wait she's right captain, would she have even been able to drink from the same water fountain as you before you died?"
you'd never seen your boyfriend as shocked as he was right now, stock still, metal hand over his mouth and bugged eyes starring at the floor.
you eyed yelena as you grabbed bucky's flesh hand where it lay on the arm rest; although only your fingertips felt his skin due to the large sleeves of your hoodie. "nah, jim crowe aint end til sixty four i think."

you giggled, grabbing your hydroflask off the floor taking a swig before offering the bottle to bucky who took it gladly as an excuse not to have to add to the conversation.
you had the forethought to let your poor boyfriend finish but your mouth opened before you could stop yourself "i think it couldve been kinda romantic buck; us holding hands over the rope for the coloureds section."
you could help cackling at the sight of bucky wide eyed, spitting out a mouth full of water and subsequently choking; you took the bottle from him before he could spill anymore on the navy sweater you had bought for him.
"goddamn it y/n/n," bucky choked out "fuck off"
tony snorted as he shifted in his spot between nat and yelena "i think our resident sadist is actually trying to kill these two." you were rubbing buckys chest as well as you could from your spot up front, feeling the rumble underneath your fingertips as the last of his cough subsided.
tony pointed his chin to the right at steve fidgeting with his hands. yelena nodded "i think cap over there's going into cardiac arrest."
bucky laughed as he wasnt upset in the slightest. he was actually in awe as he watched you bark a laugh while twisting one of your earrings, a mindless habit of yours he found adorable. he knew you had no ill intentions and youd never purposefully try and upset any of them. he experienced your humour and questions about anything and everything, no matter how blunt, often enough first hand; he often followed it with his usual routine of rolling his eyes and kissing you quiet mid sentence with such a passion you often forgot what you were talking about in the first place.
bucky wrapped his metal hand around yours still placed lightly on his chest. no, he wasnt upset at all, he actually liked how straightforward you were. he knew he could always trust you to be honest with him. right now however he was shocked at how, after dating for almost a year now, you still managed to surprise him with questions like this.
he watched the mischievous glint in your eyes as you but your lighter bottom lip as you turned to steve.
"not trying to kill ya cap, but at least if you kick it tony can file it under reparations."
sam whacked your arm as you laughed together.
seeing the tips of steves ears burning bright red same as his neck was enough to make you ease up on the man; considering he hadnt spoken a word this whole time. "im kidding steven, relax. but seriously though tony how tough did you have to make those sensitivity seminars?"
bucky couldnt help but grin at the seriousness in your tone. this was turning out to be quite the drive.

I literally saved you from homelessness (by your own admission) by inviting you into my home rent-free, gave you your own spaces and helped decorate and shit and told you not to worry about money cause i wanted you to feel at home and be able to save money to get back on your feet, but also never imposed strict time limits on how long you could stay) and in return you treated my home like some shitty motel that you can just trash and not do anything to contribute to the household like you said you would
Nothing in this world is free, someone has to pay for it, so i end up paying for you to live here through utilities (which youve also raised significantly by never turning electronics/lights off and leaving the front door wide open all the time), ON TOP of buying you groceries, your medications, and a bunch of non-essentials like video games and shit cause you're depressed and apparently not being able to play the newest video game makes you actively suicidal
Ive also driven you to multiple dr appts on 3+ hour roundtrips, also on my own dime, and volunteered to give you weekly injections so that you didnt have to remember to take a pill every day
I put up with you being straight up rude to me (comparing me to your abuser all because i said i wouldnt go out of my way to fix a mess that you created, hello??) and this is the thanks i get??
Like, i even wrote out the nicest msg i could to be like hey pls stop being asshole roommates or you gotta go, with a detailed list of the shit you regularly pull, but i never sent it cause i was hoping that nicely asking about individual issues would be enough
Specific examples not included- REPEATEDLY using my nice steak knives as regular knives (for shit like peanut butter, cutting brownies, etc) and leaving them lying around dirty despite the fact that ive asked multiple times to AT LEAST clean them and put them away right away, vaping inside and allowing guests to vape inside despite knowing the STRICT no smoking rule, repeatedly using other peoples things without asking and not at least putting it back where found (perfume, toothpaste, cologne, socks, hair bleach etc etc), eating the last of other ppls food (one time i got a dozen donuts and ate two, then when i came back not even 6hr later, the entire box was empty and no one had said a word to me, i had bought them for my sister who was visiting, who didnt get to have any), using the last of the toilet paper and instead of letting someone know or getting more, using paper towels (like were you raised in a barn?? Paper towels cannot go in the toilet), losing the only garage key when you shouldnt have even had it with you in the first place, and more that i cant even think of rn
So if you "feel like [your] at war constantly" then maybe stop doing shit that you know is going to start fights, aka stop stomping all over my boundaries

i dont think the “its a hobby, not an obligation” is an immature nor selfish mindset. we shouldnt be acting like rp is a job or anything other than a hobby. also i wanna be considerate of other people, i really do, but my mental wellbeing will always come first. i will always take into consideration how people feel and their needs, but i will always come first. its not selfish. we arent here to please other people yall.
and anyway if u expect ur partners to put u first and put rp first then ur the one who is immature.
also want to clarify; the issue here is “take critique” which has been taken in a way that u must allow people to critique ur writing which isnt a fair ask. if you want to discuss someones behavior or activity, thats fine. you are allowed to have those conversations. however, dont give unsolicited critique of peoples writing. this /is/ a hobby and if someone isnt in the mental place to handle critique they are allowed to be. it has literally nothing to do with anyone else. this is meant to be fun and honestly sometimes receiving critiques about your writing /isnt/ fun and thats fine.
end of the day, it is just a hobby. put urself and ur wellbeing first. dont let these people make u think ur selfish.

#al rambles#vent#are yall sick of seeing these? like thats an actual question im not being sarcastic#cause like tbh im kinda sick of seeing these on my blog...might make a sideblog just for vents? idk#anyway heres the actual purpose for this#my family is going to this hotel in 10 days and were going to be there for 4 days#its supposed to like a mini holiday thing i guess? but uh#i... i dont..feel safe? going up there#being forced to share 1 or 2 rooms with my family isnt ideal rn#the hotel situation will probably allow them to restrict my eating even further and eith more ease#we'll be going out and doing things aswell! so thats even more calories that i need gone#my mum doesnt want us to be on our electronics very much. she sounded like she REALLY didnt want us to be on our electronics very much#so im uhhh not liking the idea of this trip#christ. i dont even get my privacy at the end of the day bc ill be sharing a room with someone#..OH GOD I DONT EVEN GET MY PRIVACY AT THE END OF THE DAY BC ILL BE SHARING A ROOM WITH SOMEONE#i... i really dont want to go on this trip..#there was one good thing and that was that dogs are allowed there#so i was lik. yay! we can bring luna!!. but noooo my mum kept arguing that we shouldnt bring her#so i might not even get to have luna with me for comfort...#and im just...very upset about this at the moment

unpopular opinion: fandoms are supposed to be fun for everyone
and if you harass a person for loving a character (or even harass the character itself), you may very well be contributing to a person's sadness or harming their mental health, and even if a person doesn't react poorly to your negativity, a lot of other people might, and some wind up having to remove themselves from what they used to love because they now associate it with something harmful and honestly that's just fucking shitty of you and you should extract yourself from the fandom and anything related to it if you can't be a decent human being and learn how to behave thank youfor comingtomytedtalk

To the person that disagreed with the permission to void being stupid is honestly ridiculous and chronically online. Im sorry but if you believe you should restrict how your customer uses your product is honestly insane and controlling. If people spent hundreds or even thousands sometimes on a design, they should be allowed to do what ever the hell they want. They are purchasing the copyrights to that design. You cannot still control over a product you sold. Its not yours anymore !! But whatever, the real issue is the voiding permission. People should have the right to void their owned designs from any species they want. End of story. Idfc if you dont like it, bro if you hate how people use your products, youre not only a terrible business owmer and obsessing over things that dont matter, but youre actually shooting yourself in the foot. Youll make yourself all paranoid and stuff if you obsessed so much about controlling a design that isnt yours especially over something small like voiding. Wheres the harm in voiding!? Why cant the owner who SPENT MONEY have a say of what theyre comfortable with doing for THEIR oc they BOUGHT the rights too. Its honestly so tiring how chronically online the art community is these days. When youtubers or game devs sell the rights to their brand, channel ect, you think they still have a say in what the new owners can do with their stuff? NO. No not at all. A lot of artists like to pretend making and selling designs isnt a business thing. It is. Youre creating and selling a product. Stop acting like you can take back the rights you sold. If you dont like it dont sell it. Or just get over it, its not that hard. Dont be a designer if you feel the need to control how people use your designs. Youre taking the fun away from people.
Sorry for the rant it just frustrates me how artist think they can take rights from you after spending a lot on a design to own the rights too
