TMI Tuesday question: You're given a month off from work/school/routine daily obligation. Your financial status stays the same as it would be otherwise, but you have a buttload of free time. What are you going to do with it?
I'm going to skip over all the boring things I know I should do around the house and assume for the nature of this ask that they're all filed under 'daily obligations' and I'm completely free to do anything I want without feeling guilty.
My first thought is to play Tears of the Kingdom for hours and hours. There's so much to do in that game, I could get lost in the world of Hyrule for days! I don't think I could spend the whole month doing that though, so maybe binge watch some things as well. I keep meaning to do a rewatch of The Nanny. Then there's fic, of course. I could read so much, maybe even try to get back into writing some of my own.
And I'd love to go visit places. Take day trips on the train, down to the coast or to London. Take my camera and try to get some nice pictures, improve my photography skills. Just relax and enjoy myself without worrying about all the things I still have to do.

#i changed his colors !!#treat this as a suggestion than a solid ref. i spent like 3 hours drawing and redrawing the legs bc i couldnt get the shape right so if u#wanna draw them more planti or digi i do not mind ^_^ get silly with it!! same goes for pelt pattern do whatevr u want with it#the pelt pattern is loosely based on a snowshoe cat which was fun to play with. as u can see they kinda have a butterfly motif going on#if u squint the ear tufts kinda resemble luna moths or swallowtails with the long tail at the end of the wings#i was kinda torn about changing the costume color but it clashed too much with the new color palette so i had to change it#i didnt include the cape here so its easier to see the costume but ill draw it another time if i remember lol#its also a lil hard to see but i put pinstripes on their pants but thats optional. their design is pretty flexible anyway#god im pretty attached to this guy already. hes like semi fan character semi regular character... oc... thing#i should draw more furries. i followed some furry artists for giggles recently and its true what they say. u need furries in your life#btw while i was drawing this i was fooling around while trying to figure out his costume color and colored it as kaito kids suit for fun#and i just stared at it for a solid 5 minutes before saving a picture. maybe ill post it later#my art#myart#my oc#oc#furry art#fur#furry#laika's comet#laika's comet oc#fan character#sleight#ref sheet#oc ref sheet

#i have finally achieved Goal. i drew yakumo with a happy chickcen#legitimately there were several moments of me redrawing yakumo's eyes and yelling#nO! THEY'RE NOT UWU ENOUGH (makes the irises bigger) WAIT . TOO UWU (makes irises more oblong)#WAIT!! NOT MONSTROUS ENOUGH (narrows the pupils) SHOULD NOT HAVE MORE EYELINER THAN FOXY GRANDPA (shrinks the lashes)#did u know that chickens like to sleep on tall things? the higher they are the safer they feel? (according to my cursory internet search)#so i imagine when yakumo finally grew taller than the chickens' roosting spots#some of them started just napping on yakumo any time he came to clean the coop#and he'd be so scared of waking them up that he'd try to do his chores in the tiniest movements ever#several hours later grandma checks in on him bc hmmm! he's taking longer than usual!#sees him covered in birds+bird poop and he's aaaallllmost done cleaning with his restrained broom sweeps#(birds don't stop pooping just cuz they're sleeping u see. how productive)#that's a cue for grandparents to move the roosts higher . bc yakumo doesn't have the heart to shoo the birds off him#he needs to get things done! becoming impromptu bird bed for 3 hours a day is not sustainable!#it's all for the good of chiken anyway. happy chicken happy life#yakumo
