i have been subscribed to La Vie En Rose for a some weeks now, sorta as a reminder to read it, I remember being very excited upon finding it but never actually having the time to read. THANKFULLY i had time on my hands this weekend, and let me tell you, I AM SO HAPPY I DID, so so so happy.

You had me GIGGLING, sometimes i even had to stop reading and look around just to say “yall read this too?” to my empty room. I AM SO BEYOND PLEASED WITH EVERYTHING. Particularly Elain, sometimes i feel like people just breeze over her upbringing and how it would interfere with her choices (specially before the cauldron), but you did such a delicate, intricate study of her character, like, i could see how much patience and care you put into understanding her as she is and still turning it into your own thing to fit the narrative and IT TURNED OUT SO ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! and do not get me started on Lucien. You just seemed to have found and built yourself a house on that sweet spot of him being witty and duty ridden and a rake but also a traumatized sad character with a lot of baggage, but still funny and smart and willing to help. It’s such a thin line to walk and you just flew through it. IT IS SO SO SO SO SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! every little dialogue, all the jokes the banter i was like!!!!!!! OMG??? HOW IS IT SO GOOD???????????????

I have not read the accompanying feysand piece, but i got the gist of what was happening pretty easily (though now i think i might as well just read it too, i bet it’s just as beautifully done). Anyway, not enough for you to have nailed the characterizations, THE PLOT IS ALSO GOOD AND SUPER ENGAGING!!!!!????????? It was so thrilling to read, i was on my tippy toes just trying to guess where things were going. I HAD A BLAST!!!!!!! Just, wow, wowowowowow-

Sorry for being rambly i’m just so happy i found you and so happy you share your works and so happy i got to read this!!! You rock!?!?!?? You’re amazing!!!!!!

I wasn't sure if I could sell LVER to people as something they could read without the Feysand storyline because I'm not really capable of reading it through that lens. So it makes me happy really to hear that it still works as a standalone fic 🥰

And goodness, these are just the highest forms of praise. I wish you could see how giddy this made me, I'm ecstactic that you like my characterizations of Lucien and Elain. Their story really took me by surprise and swept me away and it makes me so happy that this little labor of love is something other people have enjoyed too 💞

Also my boyfriend will be so pleased you like his chapter titles 😂😂 He gets the cutest smile everytime someone makes a comment about them. One of these days I will genuinely go with one of his suggestions.

Yeah!! It’s kinda based off the rules of ASL, but it’s moon ASL hence why it’s different and gives everyone who’s fluent a headache. He’s never been to earth before so he has an entirely different language of signs but I like to think if he hangs out on earth a bit he learns ASL as well

it is literally the most fucked up thing in the world that fruit goes bad. you shoild be allowed to have a box of blackberries in the cupboard for 2 years and they are still fine to eat
