Hello, my name is Besan.
I am from Gaza, currently in Germany since November 21th.
As much as it pains me to resort to fundraising, it is the only option left for me to save my family's life.
I feel useless.I want them to stay alive.
My family, consisting of my mother, father, sisters and brothers, have been forced to evacuate five times so far, moving to what was supposed to be safer places, but there is no safe place anymore. When the war started, they were evacuated hoping they could return once it ended and continue their lives as usual, without knowing it would last this long, After 5 months of this war, we learned that the house we built just 8 months ago suffered severe damage
So please, if you decide to help, know that I will be immensely grateful and deeply thankful. Every amount, no matter how small or large, is valuable and greatly appreciated, and I will be grateful to you for the rest of my life.
Purpose of Fundraising Campaign I am initiating this fundraising campaign to evacuate my family through the Rafah/Egypt crossing, which currently requires $7000 per person. This is our only chance to survive. I humbly seek your assistance now more than ever.

my fave greek history story to tell is that of agnodice. like she noticed that women were dying a lot during childbirth so she went to egypt to study medicine in alexandria and was really fucking good but b/c it was illegal for women to be doctors in athens she had to pretend to be a man. and then the other doctors noticed that she was 10x better than them and accused her of seducing and sleeping with the women patients. like they brought her to court for this. and she just looked at them and these charges and stripped in front of everyone like “yeah. im not fucking your wives” and then they got so mad that a woman was better at their jobs then them that they tried to execute her but all her patients came to court and were like “are you fucking serious? she is the reason you have living children and a wife.” so they were shamed into changing the law and that is how women were given the right to practice medicine in athens

#G5 irks me more than anything else in the entire world.....#its all. just really not great#THEIR LEGS BEND THE WRONG DIRECTION SO MANY TIMES ESPECIALLY IN TELL YOUR TALE. ITS TERRIBLE#listen if you're going to animate a show about horses maybe do the minimal amount of research required for understanding how their legs mov#e.g. search up horse running and watch like one video#everything is so lazy. I don't know if its the budget or what but the animation is lackluster the pacing is just. so bad.#the editing of voice lines is so so bad they don't give you even half a second to breathe between voicelines#and pretty much every joke is immediately run over by the next voiceline. not even a second to let the joke be funny#not to mention how badly the plot choices fuck up the g4 characters lives#okay so you're telling me my beloved childhood characters spend the REST OF THEIR LIVES WITHOUT MAGIC...#rainbow can't fly. fluttershy can no longer talk to animals. I finally (got help) slapping Wordpress into shape and Runaway to the Stars is now releasing as a public webcomic! Thank you so much for your support over the years, and sticking with me while I'm slowly chewing my way through this book. I'm very excited to share this story! It'll be updating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday thanks to the massive Patreon backlog. Patreon will continue to update as I finish pages, which happens on a sporadic non-schedule.
If you experience bugs with the site report them to me. Some things may occasionally break, as coding problems tend to be a very "whack-a-mole" affair; and I'm still getting used to the interface.

hey. don’t cry. crush four cloves of garlic into a pot with a dollop of olive oil and stir until golden then add one can of crushed tomatoes a bit of balsamic vinegar half a tablespoon of brown sugar and stir for a few minutes adding a handful of fresh spinach until wilted and mix in half a cup of grated parmesan cheese and pasta of your choice ok?
