Teammates flirt with you to prank Emily

Emily had brought you to watch practice for today since you hadn’t spent much time together over the past few weeks due to your demanding schedules.

Coach was late to practice today so to fill the time every one gathered in groups to socialize. Emily stuck by you in the stands, her feet propped up in front of her while her muscled arm draped over your shoulder. You cuddled in to her chest with your feet draped over hers, the two of you impossibly intertwined and exchanging hushed conversations.

You and Emily hadn’t noticed the conversation her teammates were having from afar. Aaliyah, Jade, Shakira, and Didi were huddled up melting at the sight of your affection, lightly poking fun at how whipped Emily was over you.

“Emily gripping Y/N like she gon runaway” Shakira chuckles

Didi laughs back “Bruh, Emily don’t play about her girl”

Jade jumps in “We should mess with her like flirt with Y/N a little, piss off Em. It’d be funny!”

“Nahhh she might actually crash out if we were on her girl like that” Aaliyah warns

Didi nudges Aaliyah playfully “Liyah let’s try it, cmon”

“Y’all can try it and get your ass beat, I’m gonna head over there and watch you fail” she puts her hands up in a surrender position and walks over to the other teammates, circled up stretching.

“Yo, Y/N! Come here real quick” Shakira waves you down from the stands.

You and Emily exchange a look but you shrug and walk down anyway. Shakira meets you sort of halfway, grabbing your forearm and pulling you over to where Jade and Didi are standing.

The red head doesn’t let go of your forearm as she speaks, giving you a sly smile as well “Me and the girls were thinking you should come out with us sometime, you know? Drinks and dinner or something” she’s starts to rub up and down your arm and you can’t see but behind you Emily had moved from her seat in the stands and was now standing idly by, eyeing your interaction. She immediately clocks the touchiness of Shakira but doesn’t say anything just yet.

The ginger can obviously tell that Emily’s watching and decides to kick it up a notch.

“Yeah of course! That’d be fun!” you smile, oblivious to the teasing that’s happening here between teammates.

“Great! Um.. “ she fishes her phone from her basketball shorts “ Here just put your number in and I’ll send you the details, cool?”

“Mhm!” you start to put your number in, not paying attention to the way Shakira nudges the other girls and jerks her chin over to where Emily is not so discreetly looking at the 4 of you, laughing silently to themselves.

Jade decides it’s her time to shine as you hand Shakira her phone “Y/N your nails, damn they look good, can I see?”

You blush at the comment and place your hands in hers as she checks them out, rubbing the sides and knuckles of your hands with her thumbs “How much were they?” the Australian questions.

“Uhh.. somewhere around like $90-$100, my nail tech has pretty good prices”

“Damn, who payed for those?”

“Oh, Emily” you flush, turning around to smile at her, she returns the gesture with a tight lipped smile but you brush it off “she spoils me a little”

“Clearly” Didi chuckles “I see those shoes too girl, you look good. Are those new?”

You preen at the attention “Yeah, thanks. Emily bought me these too, as like a birthday gift”

Didi nods “Oh, they’re untied, let me get that for you” she kneels and fixes the issue.

Emily can’t handle seeing her teammates pamper and prod at you any longer, she rushes over to the group, trying her hardest to not look like a jealous girlfriend.

“What’re y’all up to? Just spotted how… buddy buddy y’all were getting” she questions, nostrils flaring slightly.

“Oh! The girls invited me out for drinks next week”

“Isn’t that kind of them?” she presses her lips into a firm line, grinning at you.

“Yeah, we were just complimenting Y/N on how good she loo-“ Didi starts

Emily quickly interrupts her, turning to you “You know- babe, I think I left my water bottle in the car. Could you grab it for me?” She shoves the keys into your hands and you smile at her as you turn and walk off.

Emily immediately drops the act “So what the fuck was that whole…. whatever- about”

The three teammates can’t continue with the bit as they all burst out laughing, knees weak, flailing arms, pushing each other type of laughing.

Emily stands there unamused as they continue to cackle before finally calming down enough to get a few words out.

“Emily’s jealous, emily’s jealous, emily’s jealous” they singsong in unison.

“Alright, whatever bro” she scoffs, slightly red.

They all huddle around Emily, surrounding her in a hug as she’s still annoyed.

“We love you Em, don’t hate us” Jade giggle’s

“Hey! I told them it was a dumb idea” Aaliyah yells from across the court.

Emily sighs “Just… don’t tell Y/N, she’s oblivious enough as it is”

The group once again bursts out laughing, hugging her tighter as they tease her more.

For girl groups I mainly listen to Itzy and Twice - my biases there are Ryujin and Dahyun respectively

For boy bands i like Super junior (although that's uh. definitely an outdated taste sldkjfsldkfjsdlf), Astro, and Stray Kids - From SJ Donghae's def my favorite, from Astro it's MJ (silly boi I love him sm aaaa) and in SKZ I've gotta go with Lee Know

I had very bad feelings about Pique since Superbowl. He can tweet about everything, argue with some randoms and obviously post about Superbowl every year on Twitter but he can't tweet anything when she performed. Like if posting about her succes would be some kind of weakness idk

Yeah I feel you on that one. I've always said that posting tributes and dedications on sm isn't always the real deal and that what should really matter is showing up and expressing love/admiration in real life. So I respected his low key public displays of affection on social media. But after everything the SB represented for Shakira & her career, and how everybody was showing their respect towards her, it made me wonder why he never felt the need to express his admiration for the show. Not even b/c of the amazing performance, but because as her significant other, he knew all the hard work, sacrifice, and pressure she experience to make it happen. You would think that as her life partner, that need to express his admiration, would come naturally, especially because he has followed and tweeted about the SB before. But I don't think he ever said anything about it...
