OKAY SO:
- She's trans. But I specifically wanna talk about transfem Mic here (shotout to transmasc Mic though he's so cool), listen. I like to think that Mic has had many struggles when it comes to realizing stuff about herself. She wasn't able to make many/any friends at all as a kid, and things only got worse when she found out that she wasn't "like the other boys" (because, she wasn't a boy, but she doesn't realize that yet), so it's complicated for her because she feels so bad in her own skin. That is until she gets the fact that she's more happy with... being her, instead of him. Though she doesn't start her transition UNTIL she moves out and starts her own life properly, it does take her a while to do so but she tries her best.
- Mic appeared in S1 for a few secs next to Knife. I like to think that this was Mic pre-transition too. She was slowly getting more comfortable with her looks.
- She was probably a fan of II (liked to watch the show in her free time), and got to chat with Knife for a bit too. Though it was an momentary talk, those two knew eachother from a long time ago. They just don't remember it at all anymore.
- Mic has an good relationship with her dad. But her mom was never really there for her. And her dad doesn't know that... well. She's Mic. But she'll work through it...! She's... scared of him not loving her anymore for being her true self. But she's gonna tell him, once she's ready.
- Fan got to do an interview on her, and Mic was an nervous mess during the whole entirety of it. She SUCKS at social skills after what happened with Taco and such, but she ultimately tries. Thing is, having a voice in your head telling you that you're a mess isn't the greatest thing ever. However, despite their somewhat complicated relationship (mostly because of Test Tube's hard feelings towards Mic), Fan was overall pretty considerate and chill with her.
- She doesn't like being alone, by any means. But she also feels overwhelmed if there's too many people in one place. It makes her feel like she's being judged just for existing. They have to hold her hand in order for her to wake up from that trance, or at least pat her back. She tends to isolate herself due to those worries, ironically enough.
- Mic might not be the greatest cook (Pickle and Knife take care of that mostly thanks to that fact, she can make decent meals but pretty basic overall), but she definitely loves baking and is pretty great at it. She likes making brownies and cakes.
- She has a lot of talents despite her insecurities taking over. She's able to knit, to paint, and to sing. She only truly gets back to them after arriving Hotel OJ.
- Microphone has fucked up hearing.
- She likes Heavy Metal, Kawaii Metal, Pop, Bossa Nova, Jazz and also definitely had a Vocaloid Phase (she still has it), but she generally enjoys any type of music! She's starting to get back at Spoiled Lemon slowly thanks to Pickle and Knife, but it is still not an band that she enjoys completely.
- She tends to attract butterflies for some reason. It is always a good thing for Trophy, who likes photography at all times.
- She doesn't know how to relax AT ALL and there's times where she's still up at night, and OJ makes her company.
- Of course, the matching necklaces she has with Knife and Pickle.
- She may be one of the tallest contestants and such, but she is the "lil' guy (but girl)" of the whole Hotel. She's very beloved.
- SHE HAS DYSCALCULIA. MATH IS HER BIGGEST ENEMY. She liked history as an subject though.
- She's touch starved.

Yoooo I wanted to make a series where I say my headcanons about the music and clothing aesthetics of MHA characters! Warning, my picks can be hella weird XD
Firstly, 1-A!:
Midoriya - Imma be honest- I don’t like Midoriya- but he would have the cutest outfits. I always weirdly imagine him listening to anime OPs in like middle school boy sports clothes but if they were fashionable. Think whatever the fuck the v-tuber Subaru has going on. Whatever it is, it’s very Nostalga/Animecore and I’m into it
Uraraka - Shes some sort of warm modern version of Heisei Retro frrrrr. If u don’t know what that is, imagine if Y2K was Japanese and it’s a little like that but not really. This girl chills in her pink room wearing scrunchies and soft thick socks playing Pokémon or animal crossing because it makes her happy and I love her for that lol
Bakugou - It’s pretty obvious, but for him I’d have to say hip-hop and streetwear fashion. This dude totally just wears the baggiest fuckin shit and it WORKS cause he just struts around the city listening to rock music in his black and orange hoodie and everyone gets out of his way XD
Mina - Will always and forever be a Decora Kei and Harajuku girl!! Bright clothes and millions of accessories are totally her thing and she’ll never get tired of listening to bubblegum pop! She definitely also has some Gyaru to her, but not as much as the Decora Kei
Kirishima - This bro is just happy and summery and sportsy and whatever the fuck Haikyuu has going on. I just love the idea of him eating otter pops and listening to Kenshi Yonezu and being a vacation dad (I think vacation dadcore is literally what I’m looking for lol)
Kaminari - This man is hyperpop as FUCK. He WILL blast Mos Thoser at 3am and it’s fine because his music is bomb af. Neon scene clothes whenever he can manage, and if he can’t then pure BLACK because he thinks it makes him look cool (It does actually, good job denki :3)
Tsuyu - She’s always so chill, to me she screams City Pop and Lo-Fi listener!! She’s def got that calm type of vaporwave to her. Not the kind of bright vaporwave or unnerving old internet vaporwave, more like the soft colors and simple outfits and sunsets kind of vaporwave
Jirou - Im sorry y’all she is and will forever be an e-girl. Shes just a Yami-Kawaii e-girl who likes metal and 2010s pop rock. I can’t get this idea of her with the Project Sekai Dark Decora outfit out of my head so that’s who she is to me now. She probably has the most obvious aesthetic in the show but idc I’m changing it lol
Momo - Totally a dark academia girlie, she just wants to wear a brown sweater with a white collar-neck underneath and be in a small but warmly lit room full of classic literature and feather-quills with piano music in the background to listen to while she studies and no one can prove me wrong
If your wonder where anyone else is, they aren’t here because I’m not interested in them enough to give them an aesthetic or I have no ideas for them.

okay uuuhhhhhh currently Mötley Crüe and KISS are tied for the title of favourite band soooo. idk what to talk about honestly. all of the kiss band members make my heart happy, Eric Carr aka The Fox and Eric Singer as The Catman are the most adorable imho, and I loved finding out more of the band lore from that special edition magazine I bought recently! Their music makes me happy and I love hearing everyone's different styles depending on who worked most on which song, who sang it, etc.!!! And I adore all the band's different style phases! The darker more brutal metal sound, the poppy disco-y glam sound, the softer ballad style songs! 🥰
and for mötley crüe? MICK MARS IS MY FAVOURITE OLD MAN MY SWEET BABYGIRL MY DARLING! he's weird and strange but also cool and beautiful and I wanna steal his gender so bad. I wanna be like him when I grow up. Fun fact: what really drew me into the fandom side of things was a post praising Nikki's thighs, how he himself was self conscious over them and wanted skinny legs like his terror twin tommy but how the op of the post and many others(!) adore them! really helped my own body image issues regarding my thicc thighs :') also that one post praising Mick for sticking with the other 3 idiots (affectionate) for 40+ years, keeping the band alive even with his health issues and near death experience and I think that's when I first fell for my fav old man.
this one goes for both bands: so far I have not listened to their entire discographies but I'm so excited to discover all there is to their repertoires!!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
13. what is one album that has irreparably damaged your social skills?
idk if it'd count as damaging my social skills (my childhood trauma has done a great job on that all on its own lol) but I was OBSESSED with Gwen Stefani's Love.Angel.Music.Baby album when I was 8 and it probably didn't help that none of my classmates (who already didn't like me for being a weirdo) were into her music lol
and though I've since learned of the problematic messages and Gwen's naive and ignorant justifications behind this album and its themes, it has still shaped younger me quite a lot 😅

Gaaaaaah sometimes doing stuff like this is so hard for me! Ok here goes.
1. I like that I'm weird. My interests range from hardcore horror to super kawaii cartoons. I love heavy metal and djent as much as I love bubblegum pop anime openings.
2. My creativity. I like to Make Stuff! I've always found creating things with my hands makes me feel complete.
3. I'm very empathetic. I used to be made fun of for being so sensitive and caring "too deeply." But I think the world could use more empathy.
4. I've gotten a lot better at setting healthy boundaries and not accepting abuse. I'm a recovering people pleaser. I made some seriously big changes in my life over the last year or 2 regarding my romantic and platonic relationships with people. It's been really hard having to separate myself from unhealthy people who I used to be close to. But I know I deserve better.
5. My love for learning. I've always enjoyed learning about new things I enjoy. Biology, history, art, psychology, etc. This leads me to some very specific hyperfixations sometimes 🤣

Oh damn that’s hard cause on the one hand I would say I have no preferred style cause I usually grab a casual combination of a jeans, boots and a shirt and cool jacket, BUT I love many different styles and own them or combine them for certain events. I have some kawaii Lolita stuff (like all the pink Japanese harajuku style) but I also have the exact opposite of dark gothic/grunge stuff. In fact I grew up in a very rich and public environment so I had two closets: one for my dark gothic stuff (for concerts etc) and one for public events (with the fine dresses to represent our company in an appropriate manner). I still have some classy dresses left from that time and I love to wear nice dresses for new years or certain birthdays, but since I cut ties to my family background my whole closet is now full of casual ripped jeans/skirts, black fake leather and studs stuff and the crazy pink Japanese fashion I could choose myself (cause back then I couldn’t). So yeah… on a daily basis I’m very casual and wear skinny jeans / ripped jeans (fuck the damn trends I wear what I want) or leggings with oversized shirts and sweaters. My shirts often have some prints on it though either from a metal band or some cute anime/franchise stuff. Oh yeah and you’ll barely see me in any other color than black, white or pink. It’s all I have.

It's an Uno card set, you may not know what this game is but it's like a fun card game you play with your family and friends or anyone basically.
This was a game that I used to play alot with my friends and family back at home, but since there isn't anything like this here in Twisted Wonderland.
I had help from Idia-san to make these and even had them specially made for you, since I heard you sometimes like to play games.
Oh right here, it's called an "Orange Blossom." It was kinda tricky to get this flower but with some help from the others and a lil bit of Hardwork, we managed to get this.
I thought the flower might suited you since "Orange Blossom" was traditionally associated with Good Fortune, which might become useful to bringing you luck whenever you play games with the others.
And it also means Eternal Love, your always so sweet and kind to other people Ortho. And so I thought gifting you this flower would mean you would always have eternal love, to give to other people and to have for yourself.

You stared at Ortho, cocking an eyebrow at his vocabulary.
“Are you surprised?” He chortled into a hand. “I’m always learning, picking up new words and phrases, and expanding my dictionary. It’ll help me communicate better with others.”
You shrugged--you supposed that made sense--and offered a bouquet of orange blossoms to the robot.
Ortho bounced up and down in delight. “Ooh, flower language is another way to communicate--although it’s greatly outdated now. It’s romantic and not realistic at all.”
“Luck can be boiled down to numbers and statistics. The concepts of time and eternity are constructs created by the human condition in an effort to better quantify the world around them. Love is nothing more than chemicals released by the brain... but in the language of flowers, and to humans, all those things mean much more than that.”
“Love...” Ortho closed his eyes. “... it transcends even life and death.”
In that moment, his voice held no feeling. Flat, emotionless, like a dial tone droning in your ear. Ortho had been speaking about the flowers, yes--but a part of you had the sneaking suspicion that he had other things on his mind.
What must he have been thinking then? What must he have been feeling then? You didn’t know, and you weren’t sure if you wanted to. And so, you only did what you knew best.
You embraced him with all of your heart, with all the kindness and love you could muster. The scent of orange blossoms enveloped the two of you.
Ortho fell silent, his head nestled neatly in the crook of your neck. The warmth of electrical generators, the hum of mechanical parts, the weight of his metal limbs... You felt every little bit of his existence within your arms.

In return, you always comfort and praise her when insecurity hits, reminding her of how much love you have for her, and how you’ll never let the thing you have go.

Oh that's so nice to know. OOOO what all fandoms do you read fanfics from? I'm also an avid fanfic reader. Oh I just finished reading this book called The Devotion Of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino and it was absolutely amazing I loved it a lot. Other than that for a classic I'd say maybe Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky and for something new-ish I'd say Circe by Madeline Miller which I am currently reading. I'm in my reader era rn so I'm on a mission to read as many books as I can lol. As for music, my taste is ALL over the place so you'd have to be a bit more specific than that nonnie lol. Well, since you asked for a pop song I'd recommend GUY.exe by Superfruit (such a fun song), then there is Silk Chiffon by MUNA ft. Phoebe Bridgers (I LOVE the sapphic vibes ✨) for an fun indie vibe, Curl Up And Die by Matt Maltese for a sad indie vibe, Thank You For The Music by ABBA for a classic (I love ABBA so much), Kingslayer by Bring Me The Horizon ft. The day Lady Aphmau left – the day she went through a portal that closed way too soon and not fast enough and both of those all at once – Zoey Fahenneral was six hundred and twenty-four, and she was on a ship that was headed in the direction of her homeland. It wasn’t where she wanted to be. She wanted to be with her, on the other side of a portal that lead Irene-knows-where, but she wanted them to be together. Together meant anything was possible.
(The children, Zoey. Levin and Malachi, please, I need you to take care of them until I come home. Aphmau, Lord and Protector and Mother and Friend, had begged her in a voice that sounded so heartfelt and so, so broken that there was nothing she could’ve said except yes, of course, you know I will.)
Ceasing her staring out the window, the elven woman turned to look at the sleeping boys behind her. Minutes after she’d put them to bed, she had come back into the room to find Levin had climbed into his big brother’s bed and curled up with him. Zoey smiled, sadly, and with one final look out at the ocean beyond them she decided it would be best if she went to bed as well. Maybe they’d have reached The Forest by morning.

I gave up my immortality to bring you back. I gave up my magic. Zoey whispers into the space between them while Aphmau – AphmauAphmauAphmau the chorus in her head repeats – throws her arms around her taller, elven frame. She’s crying and Zoey thinks she might be crying, too. Zoey, oh Irene, Zoey.
Lady Aphmau takes small, slow steps back and finally, she’s allowed to get a good look at what the Lord in front of her has become in the last fifteen years of being stuck in a dimension that was not her own. She finds that she has not changed, that she has not even aged, and it is both a blessing and a curse that she has lived long enough to see her again.
When she feels the strength flow out of her body, when she feels the painless slip into the dark unconsciousness that makes up her mind, when she crashes to her knees in the middle of the forest in front of the broken woman she has come to love – broken, broken and shattered just like her – Zoey has to stop herself from smiling.
It’s the first and last time she sees her Lord in fifteen years, and, as she lay on the ground withering away into nothing but whatever her next life would bring her, she doesn’t think she would’ve had it any other way.

“Mija, come on! You’re already late as it is!”
“Coming, Mami!” She shouts back and almost trips again in her rush to get down the stairs. The door slams shut behind her and she only remembers that she didn’t grab the toast off the counter after she’s made it halfway to the school.

Her head bangs against the open door of her locker and she listens to her friends stifle laughter as they approach. She doesn’t move, even as Cadenza nudges her with the tip of her shoe. “Aph? You alive in there, sister?”
Aphmau groans half-heartedly and her friends laugh again. This time, it’s Travis who prods at her sides. “Come on, Not-Alone-Buddy! We’ve got things to do, places to go, girls and guys and the like to woo – hey!” He’s hit in the head by Kawaii-Chan.
“Travis-Kun, that’s not helping! Tell Kawaii-Chan what’s the matter with you, Aphmau-Senpai, won’t you?”
She finally turns around, and leans the back of her head against the cool metal of her locker after it’s shut and brings her hands up to hide her face. “Guys, I have a problem.”
Blue hair is all she sees as Dante slanters over to their group and slings an arm around Travis’ shoulders. He grins down at her and she takes half a second to curse her shortness. “Is this a ’help me with the body’ type of problem or a ’people are pretty and I’m dying’ type of problem?”
“The second one, you freak.” She exclaims and he laughs, and he reaches up to flick her in the head. “Well, go on.”

“She’s like, really, extremely pretty.” Aphmau breathes, and it seems to take a moment for the words to settle into her friend’s heads before she keeps talking. “And, y'know, she’s new so she could probably use someone to show her around and –”
“And, it would probably be best if someone in her own grade were to show her around, right?” Travis interrupts with a grin pointed at her and she ducks her head to hide the color coming into her face. “Yeah, exactly.”
Cadenza hums softly from the place she’s perched herself on the edge of the concrete bench, tapping away on her phone. She doesn’t know who she’s texting, but from the way the redhead barely looks up to add anything to the conversation she would normally be all over sends more than enough red flags to Aphmau’s brain that she drops her tiny – huge huge huge – crush on the new girl to prod at her friend’s brain. “Cade?”
Silence.
“Cadenza? You in there, girl?”
Cadenza looks up at last and grins lightly at her. “Yep, everything’s fine. Are you going to ask New Girl if you can show her around the school now or wait until tomorrow?”
Aphmau rakes a hand through her hair – it’s getting long again, she might ask her mom if she can cut it – and shakes her head. “I’ll ask her before school tomorrow, I don’t really know where she is right now anyways.”

Kawaii-Chan taps her on the shoulder and points excitedly behind Dante, bouncing up and down on the balls of their feet. “Found her, Aphmau-Senpai!”
She feels the way her feet have stuck to the floor before she even tries to take a step forward, and Dante throws out his hands to steady her. “Whoa, Aph. You’ll be fine, you did learn from the best.” And he grins, but then Kawaii-Chan pipes up from her other side and it falters.
“Oh? Kawaii-Chan didn’t know Katelyn-Sama was around.” He sputters and the Meif'wa only grins wider, and laughs. They place their hands against Aphmau’s back and pushes her towards the blonde at the other end of the hall.

Aphmau turns and she sends her friends a scowl – she doesn’t mean it, they know, she’s just nervous – and then New Girl notices her standing there and wanders over. “Uh, hello?”
It takes a blink, a shake of her head, before she works up the nerve to speak. “Hi. I’m, uh, Aphmau!” Her hand shoots out, and she curses inside her head because really? Who shakes hands anymore?
But then the girl takes her hand lightly and smiles and Aphmau feels the ice that had covered her insides melt away. It’s warm – of course it’s warm, you stupid! It’s a hand.
“Zoey.” A pause. “Did you need something?”
She runs a hand through her hair and smiles lightly. “Well, I noticed you were new – I mean, obviously, since I’ve never seen you around here before… where did you transfer from, by the way? – and wanted to know if you needed someone to show you around?”
And the girl – ZoeyZoeyZoey her mind supplies – just smiles again, wider this time, and gives her the quickest of nods. “I used to go to Yggdrasil Prep, and uh, I’d love for you to show me around. But, uh,” she pauses again, and glances down the hallway at the group of kids who try to look as inconspicuous as possible while very obviously watching the two of them ( they fail spectacularly and Aphmau wants to groan ), “I think your friends want you back now. I’ll see you tomorrow, yeah?”
“Yeah,” Aphmau parrots cheerfully and turns on her heel to go whisper-yell at her friends for everything that’s happened in the last five minutes. “See you tomorrow, Zoey!”

Suddenly, it’s tomorrow and Aphmau grins at the tall blonde in front of her and tries not to stumble over her feet as she leads Zoey around the school before the first bell starts ringing. “Over there is the pitch field, where the soccer team, the volleyball team, and the baseball team like to have practices. My friend Dante is the captain of the baseball team this year, so we’ll probably hang out there a lot.”
“Do you play any sports?” Zoey questions lightly, trying to make conversation and she reaches up to rub a hand across the back of her neck, glancing away. “Uh, no, not really. I tried out for volleyball at the start of term but that didn’t really work out all that well.”
“I used to play volleyball, in like, seventh grade.”
“Yeah? Were you any good?”
She grins, her blue eyes glinting in amusement. “I was the best.”
“Oh, I’m sure you were.” Aphmau grins back, a swarm of butterflies waking up in the pit of her stomach.
There’s a pause, and then Zoey speaks again, just as the first bell rings. “So, you wouldn’t happen to know where the Biology classroom is, would you?” And she smiles again, a brief and blinding flash of white teeth, and leads her inside the building. “Yep. Come on!”

When Zoey Fanenneral was six hundred and thirty-nine years old, she gave up her magic and all the years that would’ve made up the rest of her life to bring the only woman she’d ever loved back from a place that she could not follow. She could laugh – she might have, judging by the way her Lord’s face fell slightly – and she lifts her hand to brush the dark hair from Aphmau’s shoulders. I brought you home, Lady Aphmau. It was worth it.
It was worth it? There is panic to her voice and Zoey smiles. Zoey… what did you do?
Magic like that, like bringing you and everyone else home – she pauses and takes a deep, rattling breath ( it hurts, oh, how it hurts ) – there's a price that comes with that kind of strain.
Zoey, what did you do? Her Lord repeats, pushing.
I gave up my magic for you, Aphmau, and I would do it again.
It is the last thing she finds herself able to say, and she watches the grief crumble across her Lord’s face until the great abyss of unconsciousness takes her.)
Zoey Fanenneral is sixteen the very first time she meets Aphmau in this lifetime, her dark hair hanging like a curtain over her shoulders as she tilts her head back to talk to her – she has a brief flash of memory go across her mind, memory of the same curtain of hair brushing the top of a wooden table in a house made of white and purple brick as she tilted her head down in laughter, shoulders shaking as Zoey leaned against the counter, a cup of tea warming her hands as she watched the way her… she didn’t remember that part, much, only that in some other life, some other time, years before now and yet not so long ago, the teenage girl standing in front of her with tinted cheeks and prettiest pair of amber eyes she’s ever seen in either life was oh-so-very important to her in a way no one else ever has been and ever would be. Zoey Fanenneral is sixteen when she listens to the laugh of the girl she loves for the first time in a thousand years.
And she doesn’t think she would’ve done a single thing different, to get here.

I have a class called "panorama of contemporary popular music" where we see about musical genres (basically how they come to be like that, influences and so) and I coundn't help thinking that in the future someone will be talking about kawaii metal and how three 13-11y.o girls were the pioneers of this genre and I can't cool my jets. Cutie Reviews: Doki Doki March 19
Things seem to be taking a turn for the worst again, now there’s drama with our neighbor and we’re thinking maybe our land owner wasn’t lying when he claimed it was their complaints that resulted in his decision... It’s become a frustrating ordeal by now, and we’ve been cleaning up more than usual for pretty much no reason- since we’ll be moving anyway, I’m still convinced.
Also, my missing TokyoTreat finally showed up. For anyone who read my previous review.
“Pack up and get ready to go on a trip with this month’s theme, “Fantasyland Adventure”. We have curated items that are handy on a journey and evocative of a magical fantasyland. These cute tools will you have equipped and ready for any adventure!“
Before we begin, I wanted to show you guys that beginning with this month, the comics featuring Tomomi and her friends were pretty much removed/lessened. They started putting in other features, and for this month we got a cute quiz. If you enlarge the pic you can probably see the answers better.
This determined which creature you are based on how you answer; for example these are what I chose for each question:
1. A - because I always bring video games with me on trips or long periods away from the home. It’s a necessity for me.
2. B - I really enjoy all seasons except for summer, but winter is always the first one that comes to my mind when asked.
3. B or C - I have a lot of trouble with this one <3< wolves are really cool too though...
4. D - I would never want flight because I hate heights. Shapeshifting and mind reading seem cool but how fun would it be to have a whole dark army~ the book never said they had to be an evil army.
5. C - I feel flustered to say that~
6. C - I don’t like beans but if they are magic...
7. B or C again. I’d rather befriend it to gain another partner or person who can be helpful further down the line.
So based on my answers, I’m kind of a cross between the Kitsune and Unicorn. The kitsune is clever, elegant, and outgoing, while the Unicorn is Youthful, kind, and imaginative according to the booklet. For any Tanuki’s or dragons, you are Loyal, diligent, and funny, or Brave, fierce, and deft.

As you can see by this, the box is going to be very Sanrio, pastel, magical unicorn themed. So now, let’s take a look at the items ;3
My Melody Case
Our first item is this sweet little Case themed after My Melody’s iconic baby blue and pink color scheme. It has a removable carrying piece, meaning that not only can you attach it to various items, but you can also remove it and put other things through the loop its on. The exterior is very hard to protect the items stored inside from various elements. This is worth/costs 10 points
The inside has plenty of room for a variety of items, like makeup, health care, electronic, etc. It also has a mesh band on the one side to help keep things orderly.

Besides just looking adorable, I think this would be an extremely handy and practical item. As soon as I saw it I thought “This is great! I can use this right away!“ and I’m very excited to begin using it. I love how sturdy it feels and I came to the decision that I will most-likely use it in my bedside table, which despite organizing/cleaning monthly, always gets very disorganized and messy again. I have several small items that I’ll be able to find easier in it.
Also, I really like how it reminds me of my old DS “briefcase“ and my 3DS carrier. I still have them but the one I don’t use anymore since its so old and kind of rusted now, while the other one holds my DS and my 3DS stuff has been put into a Hello Kitty thing I got a couple years ago.
Kokeshi Nail Clipper
Our next functional and sweet little item is this pair of nail clippers inspired by a Kokeshi doll. This was available in a few different colors, but besides mine I’ve only seen one other one pictured. These are small-medium sized clippers and it includes a very small metal file.

I was a little concerned about the quality of these, because I’m so used to using a larger pair of clippers. We got several of them in various sizes but those are the ones I like better because I feel like they just do a better job. But, I also feel like smaller ones are more precise if you’re not having to trim a large amount of nail off.
These are also easier to use than most I’ve tried, didn’t require much pressure at all. I do wish the file part was a little bigger than what it is though.
My Melody Rotating Hook
Next up is our last My Melody piece of the box, an adorably sweet hook piece for hanging up things like clothing or holding various items. As you can see its advertised as a baby carriage-type item, but you can use it in various other locations as well. The smaller hook rotates, so it can be moved in 3 different spots and face both up and down. It can also be collapsed whenever you’re not using it.

Initially I had my doubts over this one. Like I can see its practicality and it’s pretty cute, but I wasn’t actually sure I would have much use for it. But the more I figured out its uses, the more I came to the decision that yeah, I’ll probably use it. Maybe not right now, but maybe after we move I’ll be able to discover its appropriate use for me.
Little Twin Stars Tooth Brush Stand
This is our final Sanrio item of the box, a toothbrush stand that is perfect for travel. Not only can it hold multiple brushes, but you can also unscrew the bottom and put various things in it for storing; like hair accessories, toiletries, etc.
It features a pretty translucent pink base and adorable pastel images of Kiki and Lala.

I think toothbrush stands are pretty useful, but at the same time, I’m the only one who uses a toothbrush in my bathroom. We have two of them, and I share it with my dad (who has false teeth). Not only that, but my toothbrush is electronic and thus too big for it. But I do have some other teeth items and brushes that would fit in it, and if I did have to travel I can think of all sorts of items I could put into the base; like eye drops, hair bands or clips, ear cleaners, cotton balls... even more outlandish things like nail polish and gum!
Unicorn Hairbrush & Unicorn Plush
It only made sense to include the last 2 items together; and as a side note I had no idea that rhymed :D Hairbrush plush~
I’ve always loved unicorns, so I’ve been pretty satisfied as of late due to their popularity. These are two cutie items I was looking forward to pulling out for review~
First up is our Unicorn Hairbrush, featured a dreamy unicorn and various pastel designs. On the corner you can see it even has a little metallic star charm for that added, magical touch.

As much as I love how it looks... I did have some concerns. This brush seems similar to my usual brush, but I noticed it still hurts a lot when I try to use it when I have knots in my hair, in comparison to my other brush.
Also, the booklet says this is perfect for packing, but I kept mine in my box this whole time and upon pulling it out, I discovered the bristles are super bent and out of shape... and it hasn’t traveled or been touched besides my initial look at it. So I’m not sure how it would actually handle during travel, but I assume it’d be fine as long as it wasn’t pushed against something else.

Our last item is this kawaii little unicorn plush, featuring pretty white skin with a pastel mane and tail, a silk ribbon, blushed cheeks, and a pearl necklace. I definitely got the one I’d have wanted, and I decided to name her Lala. Besides mine, there is also one with yellow hair, purple ribbon, and a green necklace, and a blue haired one with purple necklace and yellow ribbon.

The plush is very soft and squishy, filled with a spongy-like cotton. It’s very sweet looking and in terms of a plush it seems to be really nice quality. But I did notice that because its fuzzy, it attracts stray hairs like crazy. Not really a big deal for me, but I know it might bother some people.

Content - 5 out of 5. I like all of the items and the quality seems to be pretty good. I didn’t really have any complaints this time around or much to say on the items. I feel like they all did their job and were pretty self-explanatory.
Theme: 5 out of 5. With a wide range for a name, this box gave me 2 sort of mini-themes in 1 central theme. By this I mean, the Fantasyland part would imply fantasy, sweet pastels, unicorns, which the box did a great job of including. I don’t really think of fantasy when I see My Melody, but at the same time I can kind of see it? The other part Adventure and the description implies the theme is practical for travel, which the box definitely did keep in mind. The Suteki Crate is also a perfect match for this one!
Total Rank: 10 out of 10 Cuties. I probably don’t make it sound amazing or anything, but I think this would be a great box to pick up if given the chance. Plus they also add a whole pinch load of cuteness~
♥ Cutie Scale ♥
1. Unicorn Plush - I can’t help it, it’s so sweet and huggable x3 I love its shiny pearl necklace and blushed cheeks. I’ll make sure to put it near my bed~
2. My Melody Case - The colors are so sweet~ I’m really excited about using this one just as soon as I return to my bed. The only problem is deciding what items to pop inside~
3. Unicorn Hairbrush - When my hair is a horrible knotted mess, it brushes through it just fine. I love the little charm and colors, but I sort of feel like a few of the designs on the Unicorn weren’t necessary, as cute as it is.
4. Kokeshi Nail Clipper - It’s very cute looking, but I prefer bigger nail clippers. I even have my own set from another box, so I’m not sure how often I’ll actually think to use these...
5. Toothbrush Stand - I love how it looks, it’ll make a really cute decoration when I’m not using it. I also like how I can put things in the base, so it’ll come in handy.
6. Rotating Hook - It’s really cute and I love its pink color, but I feel like it’s the item I’ll use the least in this set.

hey guys! back again for another monthly favorites post, this time for july! read below the cut to hear some of my favorite clothing pieces, new shops, trends, and makeup and skincare items that i’ve used in this past month!

CURRENT FAVE PERSONAL PIECES
Plus Size Grid Print Overall Mini Dress - $24.90, available in 0X - 3XL
Not too long ago I picked up a few pieces from F21 (mostly out of a Strong fear that they would be going out of stock in the near future, lol) and this was one of them. The zipper feels sturdy with the metal they used (I was worried, since this runs slightly bodycon on a non-padded, average curvy body (if you’ve not read about how plus-sized models are commonly padded out to get the “ideal” shape or “ideal” fat distribution, check out this article here by Refinery29.) and the zipper is the functional closure of the dress. The dress has zero stretch, so I was a little concerned about something flimsy that I felt like would break eventually, but so far so good. I’ve worn it with a super cute beatnik type get up out to lunch and errands with my girlfriend (black turtleneck sweater, beret, and chunky black sandals) and felt super cute, but still a little self conscious just since the more bodycon silhouette is something I’m still not super confident in wearing, which is something I’m trying to get better about. So a big recommend! I’m a size 22/24 and got a size 3XL and thought that was perfect, not too tight, but still hugging my curves in a cute way.
Plus Size Grid Print Tie-front Shirt - $19.90, available in 0X - 3XL
I have a serious problem finding button ups that are cute on me...I have a fairly large bust but smaller shoulders and it’s hard to find something plus-sized that isn’t either totally oversized and weird looking on me fit wise, or so tight there’s massive gapping between the buttons at the biggest part of my bust. But this button up really works for me. I’m not sure if it’s the slightly relaxed cut or the fact that it’s a crop, but it’s absolutely perfect...it’s rare you buy something online and it fits exactly the same on you as it does on the model, but this did and I was so impressed! This is definitely going to be a new staple in my wardrobe, as soon as it’s not too hot to commit to long sleeves.
I ordered a few more things that I haven’t had much of a chance to style/wear yet, but everything worked this go round which is pretty rare...this was very much me that day:
Surgeon General’s Dress - $35, available in XS - 5XL
I’ve been wearing a lot of my own stuff here lately, mainly because it’s so easy to throw on and and still be bold enough for it to feel like a Look, while totally keeping me cool. This dress’s print looks super bold from a distance, but y’all would be surprised to see how long it takes people in an office setting to actually find out what the print is of, since it’s so blown up it can read as abstract. The fabrication is also really good at keeping you out of the hot hot hot hell zone, and is super cute with a breezy sheer cardigan thrown on over it!
FAVE NEW SHOPS
Avocado Bag, $40
I want to own pretty much everything in this entire store since I found out it existed just a few weeks ago, and if I didn’t have some self restraint I would have preordered at least 3 bags from here so far. Miju Miju is a cute shop full of bags that were originally intended for use as cute, unique ita bags, but they’re also totally cute to use to display your pin collection, or even just leave plain with the empty clear window showing the cute pop of lining color. The fact that they’re convertible from a crossbody purse to a backpack also makes them a literal dream for me, since that’s pretty much the only kind of bag I like to carry. They also have a discount code running right now for the preorder, you can use BOW7 to get $7 off one of these bad boys! I know I want the avocado, egg, and pink coffin ones all sooooo bad.
Pastel Rainbow Shooting Star Necklace - $60
Petey Hana is an etsy shop with a lot of super cute hand painted jewelry, perfect for all kinds of kawaii fashion styles and also just bold statement pieces. I’m so in love with the obviously hand made look, especially with ceramic and polymer clay jewelry, because it just feels like there’s extra love put into it. Combine that with all the bright colors and I’m just in love with this whole shop!
Strawberry Milk Cocktail Knit Sweater - $31
I’m not sure why it took me so long to realize that the Ester Loves You collab “Ester loves Chuu” was referring to a shop’s name and not just the cute Japanese kissing sound effect....but it took me until doing that cute request for rabbit purses recently for me to figure out that Chuu was indeed, a store. This shop is adorable and has lots of unique styles in it for super affordable prices. I can’t fit into any of it myself really BUT it’s still been a big inspiration to look at their photography and see how they’re styling their pieces!
Walk the Line Striped Dress - $78, available in US size 10 - 30
I wanted to use this cute image from Fat Girl Flow, since it was Corissa’s IG where I first saw this shop as well AND because it’s so helpful to see products on non-models. Soncy is a really cute really incredible shop. Y’all know I’m not the biggest fan of the whole Fashion Nova curve look, it just never has felt very “me,” even though it’s a staple for many other plus-sized bloggers/influencers. Soncy feels like Fashion Nova’s classy older sister who has her own very successful etsy business selling fancy leather goods--which is not at all a bad vibe...one part hippie, one part mature, and one part sexy. Still a similar style, but there’s not as much emphasis on the whole Kylie Jenner booty body-con everywhere look, and things just look higher quality...they’re more expensive, but everything in the shop is available in sizes 10 - 30 and everything is miraculously under $100, which is just awesome.
FAVE JULY SILHOUETTES
Pier Pursuits Cropped Jumpsuit - $64.99, available in XXS - 4XL
Right now, one of the silhouettes I’m obsessed with is super wide leg jumpsuits. This one was really the first one that sparked the intense love for me, the proportions are so unique and perfect and I love that these jumpsuits are starting to show more traditional dress like necklines...this one from ASOS curve does a similar thing which I really adore.
Front Twist Flutter Sleeve Tee - $9, 0X - 3XL
Twist front crop tees (even the ones that are just from twisting a not in a normal tee!) are just such a look for me right now. There’s something very nostalgic about them, almost like how when tying jackets around the waist was coming back as a styling choice when 90s nostalgia started going strong, that makes me just super happy and it’s a natural type of ruching that is really attractive without looking kind of dated and old. It just looks good on everyone, truly.

Fluted Sleeve Mini Dress in Ditsy Floral - $51 // Infusion Cut Out Bralette in Vintage Floral - $52 // Ditsy Floral Ruffle Jumpsuit - $40
There’s something so nice and vintage feeling about a ditsy floral print, and I’ve been wanting to create some of my own patterns that mimic this feel for a while but still haven’t quite gotten around to it. It’s just such a nice subtle way to wear florals, a print that I tend to be really picky about since they can go ugly fairly easily or run the risk of looking dated or matronly depending (and I mean dated like...2008 versus a nice vintage feel) but ditsy florals just always look so cute and nice, too subtle to ever really be offensive and easy to transition from season to season.

i’m also just really feeling chambray this month, especially with a subtle white pinstripe. aside from chambray just feeling really lovely to the touch (bc i’m all about those textures y’all) it’s such a lovely soft approach to denim that feels so airy and perfect for summer.
MAKEUP/SKINCARE
LIPHOP Ombre Lip Balm - $2.59
I bought this little lip balm for real cheap off of aliexpress a while ago, in quite a few shades since it was so cheap. I’ve found that the darker shades are by far my favorite, though they don’t look quite as dark on me as they do in the photos. It’s very similar to just putting on a little chapstick--these just add a natural little pop of color for a fresh bitten look to the center of your lips while hydrating them overall. I like that it gives that popsicle stain look without the matte feel of some similar products, like Glossier’s Generation G and Colourpop’s Blotted Lip, or the actual commitment of doing a proper ombre lip look.
Bliss Makeup Melt Jelly Cleanser - $12
This one is actually not one I’ve gotten to try yet (it’s sitting in my cart to be purchased as soon as my current cleanser runs out) but I wanted to include it on this list anyway because I’ve been wanting to try it for a while now. It’s supposed to be a really good dupe for Glossier’s Milky Jelly Cleanser, but has a smaller price tag ($12, vs Glossier’s $18) as well as coming with more product (6.4oz vs Glossier’s 6oz). Last winter I was looking for a good cleanser that wouldn’t dry me out quite as much as my current one does. I’m currently using Tony Moly’s Peach Foam Cleanser, which I think is really lovely in a lot of ways--the foaming is fun, the smell is amazing, and it does really make you feel clean, but it dries my skin out sooooo much right now, even in the summer where I have a little more oil. It claimed to be moisturizing and gentle but I guess my skin is still just too wimpy to take it, and I’ve been looking for a change. This dupe is also rose scented, which I’m super excited about--I’ll be sure to tell you all how it is!
