I have not written anything in years and English is not my first language, so pls be kind. I'm trying to do things that scare me (posting my writing) just to get over my fears, and I hope you guys enjoy. (Or not since it's angst sksksk) also, this is not proofread at all I kinda wrote it in my notes and ran imma edit it tomorrow when I'm not half asleep

You giggled quietly as you were sneaking into the Gryffindor common room with the help of your best friend Penny to surprise your boyfriend. You had been dismissed from your last club meeting before break earlier than expected, and you were dying for a cuddle session after barely seeing him this last week with the many activities you had been doing from extra classes to the clubs you were part of.
"Oi potter! You got to tell me, mate, what's the matter between you and y/n?" You abruptly stopped with Penny looking at each other as you heard your name being mentioned between James and a voice you recognized as Castor, one of his quidditch buddies and a guy who had been randomly getting flirty with you despite your protest and the fact the whole school knew you were with James. You had mentioned to James how uncomfortable Castor made you feel before, but he brushed it off and always seemed preoccupied with other matters, assuring you Castor was just being a boy.
"What about her?" James said with an uncomfortable chuckle
"Well, you're clearly messing with Evans recently, so I was wondering where that would leave her at tonight's party?" You felt Penny squeeze your hand and pull it a little as tears welled up in your eyes. Messing with Evans? You had been with James for a year now, and you knew he liked Lily before, but that was long over before you two got together when they decided they were better off as friends. You held your breath as you waited for James to say something, to deny that something was happening between him and Lily and tell them off because you were his but all you heard was his signature boyish laugh that usually got you grinning like a fool and made your bad days better but this time all you felt was a knot form in your throat.
Penny tried to pull your hand to get the two of you out of there but all you did was shake your head and pull her back, you were frozen in place and needed to hear more despite everything in you telling you to run. "She's all yours if she'll have you mate. Might help me distract her a bit while Lily and I have some fun." A knot formed at the back of your throat, and you tried to swallow it as you blinked to stop the tears that were threatening to spill, but you just couldn't.
"OH come on, Potter, you cannot be serious, I really thought she was gonna be your wife once we left Hogwarts." You heard Percy, another teammate, say. "The girl seems head over heels for you and half the school wanted her, and she chose you"
"That's just it! She is so obsessed with me, it's suffocating! Definitely would never marry her. Can you imagine that? At Hogwarts, I at least get away from her when I'm in the common room, but having to live with her seems like torture to me. Especially with all her stupid friends always around" After hearing that you turned around leaving Penny behind and ran out of the portrait you had just been so careful to pass through unnoticed. You could hear Penny try to catch up to you and call out your name once you were a bit far from the Gryffindor entrance, but you just kept running, although you felt like you couldn't breathe and your vision was blurry. Had he always felt that way about you? Maybe you had done something wrong and that's why he was saying that. You probably were clingy, but you were just trying to help and show him you were there for him despite the many activities you had gotten yourself involved with since you joined Hogwarts.
As soon as you got into your dorm, you started packing the last few things you were gonna take over spring break, checking the time and realizing you could still make the night train. You were supposed to leave the next day with James and all of his friends after spending the day at Hogsmade, but he obviously would prefer it if you didn't. When you were ready you stood in front of your door slowly feeling the knot in your throat fade along with that uncomfortable pang in your chest, suddenly you felt nothing, It's like James Potter had so much control of my emotions you didn't know what to feel anymore.
When you made it on the train, you sat in an empty cabin away from the few passengers who were also on board and just stared at the seat in front of you. You wanted to be mad to feel something, but everything in you had turned numb, and you felt sleep take over from the crying you had done earlier.

The second Gabriel lays eyes on the young man, you know he doesn't like what he sees.
Josh, as he introduced himself, holds himself with far too much confidence for an awkward 17-year-old, yet he tries to pull it off all the same.
When he smiles as he shakes Gabriel's hand, you begin to worry.
Your own greetings are much more friendly than your husband's, as you're intrigued to see your daughter's choice of guys. Seemingly a little different from your own at that age.
Motherly instincts take over, and you pull everyone to the kitchen, so you can get Josh a drink and see if he's hungry.
"Mama, he doesn't need feeding." Your daughter sighs, seemingly embarrassed by your maternal display.
Gabriel stands quietly, watching Josh from the corner of his eye as he makes himself at home at your kitchen island. You quietly watch Gabriel, ready to mediate at any moment.
"So Josh, I hear you're on the football team?" You mention, hoping to start the process of getting to know him somehow. Your daughter has been very tight-lipped about her boyfriend, even with you.
You can practically feel Gabriel's eye twitching as his brain makes all sorts of assumptions.
"Yes, Mrs. Reyes." He responds politely. "I'm a running back. Did you play football, Mr. Reyes?" He turns his attention to Gabriel. While you sense Josh is a well-mannered boy, you can see he's desperate to win Gabriel over.
"Basketball, mostly, but a little bit of football too." Gabriel offers a forced smile, and you can tell he's really trying to adjust to the newness of this scenario while fighting all his papa bear instincts.
"And please call me (Y/N)." You chime in, approaching your husband for a moment as you stroke his arm.
"I'd be scared to see you on the other team for sure." Josh laughs good-naturedly.
"He didn't always look that mean and scary, he was a lot dorkier in high school." Your daughter interjects, ignoring her father's scowl. "What? I've seen the pictures! Definitely not as big and burly as he is now."
Gabriel crosses his arms over his chest, sending your daughter a playful glare. "Well, a life in the military builds you up."
She rolls her eyes in the way she usually does. "Mom doesn't look like a tank."
"I know I've let myself go a little, but I'm not that out of shape!" You gasp, pretending to be offended by your daughter's comments.
"You're perfect, mi vida." Gabriel whispers, softening for a moment.
"Gross." She declares, her nose crinkling in disgust. "I'm gonna go change, okay?" Your daughter sends you a pleading look that begs you to keep things calm while she's gone.
She leaves the kitchen, and the room falls quiet before Gabriel fills the silence.
"So what are your intentions with my daughter?"
"Gabe!" You gasp, smacking him playfully. The poor boy was going to be traumatized.
"Uh, I just really like her, I swear." Josh's smile is soft and genuine. "She's sweet, she's been tutoring in Spanish because I've been struggling, and I help her with physics."
"She hates physics." You comment, knowing that the help would really be doing a lot for her.
Josh looks somewhat nervous, though entirely truthful. "We just realized we have a lot of fun together."
Gabriel simply nods.
"Happy?" You ask, brow raised. Time would tell what was to become of Josh, and what his intentions were--he really didn't need the interrogation.
"I understand." Josh offers. "My mom gave her a grilling too. She handled it really well, though."
You chuckle, though your chest flares with your own protective streak.
"As parents, we can't help but be overprotective." Gabriel adds.
"Some of us are better at keeping it to ourselves, but my husband is a barbarian." You nudge him with your hips teasingly. "I'm not going to pretend to understand you men."
"He's hardly a man." Gabriel comments and then is fixed with a sharp look from you. "No offense, kid."
"It's okay. When I heard her last name, I knew that if I hurt her, I'd probably end up in a ditch... sorry." Josh cringes, realizing that's probably a little too blunt.
"I wouldn't put you in a ditch. Too easy to find your body."
"Gabe!" You chastise, but the two are sharing a laugh regardless.
Gabriel is warming up to him, even if it's just a little bit. You know it'll take some time for him to truly trust Josh with your daughter's heart, but for now, it's a step in the right direction.
"Uh, Mr. Reyes," Josh begins the conversation again. "I was actually wondering, would you have any advice for someone looking to join the military?"
"Don't." Your husband replies without missing a beat.
"Hey now, if we both hadn't ended up in Overwatch, we never would've met." You add.
"I suppose." He says, before taking a moment to think of some actual advice. You can almost see him slip into Commander mode. "Whatever ego and pride you have going in won't get you anywhere. Leave it for your civilian life. And get a therapist sooner rather than later.
"Right, sounds good." Josh nods, a little taken aback.
"You know, if you're still together through your training, it's going to make things really difficult. Being with someone in the service isn't easy, and my daughter doesn't deserve to be hanging onto some guy who just comes and goes."
You cringe at Gabriel's harsh words, even if you're right there in believing your daughter deserves the best. "That seems slightly hypocritical of us to say."
Gabriel raises a brow at you. "It's not the same, you were right there with me."
"Don't go giving them ideas." You mutter. "But, it was still hard, as all relationships are. You can figure that one out for yourselves, though, I'm sure."
Josh seems to be absorbing the information. "Yeah. Thank you both for your honesty, though."
"Are you sure you don't want something to eat?" You ask, practically desperate to offer more hospitality.
"No, I'm okay, thank you."
"Piece of advice, if you're going to be sticking around." Gabriel begins, his voice not brash or challenging. "Accept the woman's cooking. She'll feed you one way or another." The words serve as a small olive branch.
"Yes sir." Josh nods, and you and Gabriel share a look.
"Everything okay?" Your daughter asks, returning to the kitchen with a skeptical look.
"Everything's fine." Her father replies, yet she looks to you for confirmation.
"It's good. I'm putting a pizza in the oven." You add.
"Of course you are, we're gonna go watch movies." She says, tugging Josh off of the stool.
"Not in your room, you're not." Gabe adds, ready to follow them both.
"Dad!" She cries.
"... I just wanted to spend some time getting to know the kid. Cálmate, chica." He smirks. "Besides, if we're all on the couch, you can cuddle up between your two favorite guys." Gabriel pulls your daughter into him, embarrassing her with kisses smothered all over her face.
She squirms, pretending to hate the attention. "Cállate la boca, papa!"

Japanese comprehension benchmark 🇯🇵
This is the same short story I listened to before. Back then, it was a real struggle to even keep pace with the already very slow narration 🙈 and it all sounded like gibberish 🥴 BUT NOW the pace is good! Of course, I don't know all the vocabulary yet, but I can now parse/recognize the parts of sentences and recognize the vocabulary I have learned! Considering I just realized I'm only 6% of the way through my Japanese course, I'm very happy with this small win ☺️ 頑張ります! (I will do my best!)
Chinese comprehension benchmark 🇨🇳
I can understand HSK 1 short stories with ease!!! I'm hesitant to cross off it off my new year's resolutions list though, because while I can get the gist of HSK 2 stories, it's still a bit of a struggle to decipher several words at speed + without subs. But I do feel it's within reach!! 🌟 (Shhh, I know these are the most basic levels, let me be disproportionately excited because it motivates me, okay? 😂)

Guys, I'm so mad! I kept mistaking "I want to see you" (보고 싶은데) for "I miss you" (보고싶다) because they're so similar. I chose to practice with this song because it's what made me an ARMY / K-pop fan, so it's really special to me 🥺 I felt a little teary towards the end like I always do, especially because I'd forgotten the words' specific meanings a little bit. A/N: Justicia para Claudio! 🫡 Perhaps I'm a little more unwell about this man than I should be considering I know next to nothing about him. BUT! You know what I know about him now? That he lives. 😌 (I've been trying to do Spanish dialogue for these fics when possible but I could either panic about writing Spanish dialogue or panic about writing Claudio and the Claudio panic won out sorry sksksk)

He never said no to Dina. Or, rather, he never said no to her and actually stuck to it. How was he supposed to manage something like that, after all, in the face of someone like her? He would try, give it a valiant effort of standing his ground for one exchange, maybe two on a day when he was feeling particularly lucky, but he always gave into her. Happily, at that.
So, despite his insistence that he would much rather leave Mín’s party and go back with her, when she told him to go he knew that he was going to end up doing just that. He was sure that going to the club with her brothers and their friends would be a good time—it always was even if the good time was accompanied by a little bit of chaos. Whether or not it would be a good time wasn’t the source of his hesitation, it was just knowing that no matter how good of a time it was, it wasn’t going to be as good of a time as whatever Dina was thinking about that put the glint in her eyes when she insisted that they’d have their time together when he got back to their room.
He was committed to following through on her wishes now, though, as he sat in the car with Ramón. Despite the chatter and the music bumping inside the vehicle, Claudio found himself with a tiny smile on his face that didn’t quite match the scene unfolding around him as he fussed with the top two buttons of his shirt. Dina had taken the tie as he was getting ready to hop into the car. Another insistence that he wouldn’t deny her.
“There is only one good use for a tie this ugly,” she had chided him with a smile as she loosened it for him.
He smiled, amused at how much she enjoyed nettling him about something so small and simple. “And what’s that?”
She hummed in amusement as she finally finishing unknotting it and slipping it through his collar. “You just have to be patient and find out later.”
He chuckled as she smoothed his collar out. “So cruel.”
The roll of her eyes was negated by the smile on her face as she leaned in and kissed him. “Have fun. I love you.”
He lightly squeezed her arm as he kissed her back. “I love you too.”
The soft moment between them couldn’t have had a more different tone than what was unfolding around him now. He was half-listening to Ramón as he spoke. Some of it was drowned out by the music, some of it was drowned out by Ramón’s own laughter. Claudio supposed it didn’t matter much, what his response to any of it would’ve been. Once they got out of the car at the club everyone’s attention switched tracks anyway.
Despite the fact that nightclubs hadn’t been Claudio’s scene for a long time now, he was still managing to have a good time. Was the thought of Dina and his apparently atrocious tie still crossing his mind every now and then in the midst of it? Of course. But what could anyone expect from him, really—he was only human.
Another round of drinks was being passed around, and Claudio took his to be a team player of course. He and Benjamín watched as Ramón flitted back and forth between their group, the bar, and the dancefloor. He was glad to have at least one person around who seemed to be moving at about the same pace as him. Neither him nor Mín said it out loud, but they both knew that being overly reckless in the club was a younger man’s game. And it was Benjamín’s birthday, after all, another year away from being part of that game.
He noticed it later when Mín slipped a wad of cash to Barrón. There was too much else going on for him to pry as to the reasons behind it. But if Mín didn’t seem overly bothered about it all, Claudio figured he didn’t have any reason to be either.
When the gunfire started a couple minutes later Claudio found himself thinking that maybe he should’ve been a little more worried.
It was all such a blur, the scenario itself seeming like something that was supposed to be happening to someone else besides him. If he’d had things his way he would’ve been home with his wife. There wasn’t the time for the fact to become salient to him that the scenario he found himself in was because of his wife, because of his wife’s family, because of these people who were now his family as well. But he was too busy being shot at and ushered through the crowds of people to process his way through all of that.
In reality, only a couple minutes had passed, but Claudio felt like they had been maneuvering through halls and pushing through people for hours. Bullets flew by him, coming from all directions, and he just did his best to keep his head down and not lose sight of the Arellano brothers. If he lost them now, he knew he was going to have no shot at getting out of the place alive and in one piece.
Then one small misstep had him tumbling to the ground. His elbow slammed into the hardwood floor, but the pain shooting up and down his arm paled in comparison to the panic that was coursing through him as he watched everyone continuing to move towards the exit without him. Even if he had shouted for him at the top of his lungs, they most likely wouldn’t have heard him. And, even if they had heard him, the pros and cons of going back for him weren’t working out in his favor. Ramón was already half-carrying Francisco—they couldn’t afford to have another person slowing them down, making them wait. He didn’t even have a gun to try and defend himself.
He managed to scramble to his feet before they all got too far away. It was a collapsible distance even for him. By that point Ramón had noticed his absence, pausing and turning to call back for him. Claudio could see that Ramón was about to turn and go back to him, see if he needed help. But Ramón didn’t get the chance to try and help him, and Claudio didn’t get the chance to try and wave him off and keep him from trying.
Before either man could do or say anything that they wanted to, Claudio found himself staring dead ahead at Chapo. In a police officer’s uniform, which seemed like a strange and humorous if not also completely cruel brand of irony. Claudio’s eyes were still registering the sight in front of him when he felt a bullet tear through his shoulder. Then a second closer to his chest. Then he was on the ground.
His eyes were shut tight as he waited for it all to end. He knew there was no coming back from this now. Dina would be at home waiting for him forever. He should’ve been more adamant for once.
Instead of the next sensation being a final bullet burrowing into him, the next thing that Claudio felt was someone gripping him by his unpunctured shoulder and heaving him upright. Despite the pain and the dazed sensation born of his head hitting the floor, Claudio managed to get it together enough to clumsily put one foot in front of the other. The gunfire was loud, close, like a trigger was being pulled right next to his ear close.
Turning his head, he saw that Barrón was the one who had plucked him off the floor, given him enough cover fire to get his feet moving again—Barrón was the one who saved his life. He was practically dragging Claudio up the stairs, and he hardly seemed to be breaking a sweat doing it. In the ocean of chaos that Claudio was currently on the brink of drowning in, Barrón with his iron grip and ever-neutral expression were acting as his sole life raft.
“Move your fuckin’ feet, man,” Barrón grit out as they neared the top of the staircase.
Something about the command registered in Claudio’s brain, even if he was too lost to realize it in the moment. His movements weren’t exactly deft, but it was enough to lessen the amount of work Barrón had to put in to keep him somewhat upright and moving in the right direction.
There was still shooting happening as Barrón and Claudio made their way to the next hallway. It briefly crossed Claudio’s mind that it seemed as though they all should’ve run out of bullets a long time ago. Too bad he couldn’t offer Barrón the two that were buried in his shoulder and chest.
They came to a halt, one that nearly had Claudio falling back down to the ground again. Barrón was banging on the door that they’d just seen the Arellano’s go through. It did him no good, his wordless ask to be let in going unanswered. The lack of response didn’t act as a deterrent, though.
One well-placed kick later and the door was swinging open, banging against the wall before ricocheting back at them. Then Claudio felt Barrón’s hand on his shoulder again, fingers digging in like he was determined not to let him get lost a second time.
“Let’s go,” he barked out, not stopping to help any of them up off the floor, instead bypassing them and shooting out the windows to garner their escape.
Barrón all but shoved Claudio into the back seat of the car that he was driving. The second he slammed the back door shut, Claudio collapsed against it. Within seconds Barrón was sliding into the driver’s seat. The key slammed into the ignition, the car got thrown into drive, the lights and noise fo Christine’s faded into the background.
The adrenaline that had carried him so far was starting to wane. His eyelids were starting to get heavy as his sweat-slick forehead pressed against the window. His hand wasn’t even applying pressure to his wounds at this point, simply just resting on top of them.
“Yo,” Barrón snapped from the front seat, “don’t die. Not after all that.”
Neither of them voiced it out loud, but for a moment each of them independently had the thought that if Claudio died now, Dina would kill the both of them. Laws of physics and nature be damned, the woman would find a way. Claudio kept his eyes open.
He heard her before he saw her, heard her before she yanked open the door he was leaning on. Her panic was replaced with shock for a split second when he almost toppled out of the car. Her eyes widened, immediately moving to catch him, hands traveling up to his face to make him look at her.
“Claudio?” she said, a waver to her voice that he hadn’t ever heard before. He didn’t even get out a response before she repeated his name with more finality to it, a brief but relieved smile flashing across her face as she took in the fact that he was there in front of her.
Next thing he knew, she was in the back seat beside him and Barrón was tearing off again to take them home. Claudio found himself leaning against Dina now instead of the window, a much warmer and more welcoming brace. One hand on his head, threaded into his hair, the other pressing against his chest wound, she murmured a slew of things, everything from prayers to threats to I love you’s. Claudio wished that he had it in him to respond to any of it.
Later, when he could no longer feel the bullets still embedded in his muscles, when the throbbing in his head stopped and the tears of Dina’s face dried, he’d say his piece. He’d finally put his foot down, tell her that next time he wants to spend the night in with his wife and his ugly ties, that was exactly what he was going to do. Next time she wouldn’t be able to talk him out of it. For the moment, though, he let himself sink against her.

He became yandere when you first walked in. You had this fiery soul that could not be put out. He liked it a lot.
The signs were he would beat the crud out of anyone! If they said something bad about you, BONK! If they even looked at you, no, glanced at you, BONK! Some people even went missing and were never found! Your boyfriend you were dating was found dead with his skull bashed in.
Scout tends to be "overprotective" if you get what I'm saying. He always holds your hand, always stays close, and always keeps you in a three feet radius. He yells at anyone who tells you hi. Even the other mercenaries have gotten worried. You get chained up to your bed so nothing happens. You get showered and fed daily. Scout loves feeding you like a baby.
He likes petting your hair and hand. He gave you little love notes via baseballs crashing into your window. To be honest, he isn't crazy and is very sweet, even though you're trapped in a giant facility with no way out. He takes you out for dinner in Spy's dungeon (Yes, it's canon) and Scout lets you see the sun if you behave.
"Heh, I love ya sweetheart."
Soldier:
He acted like he didn't care, but as the days went by, he had this urge to keep you safe. And hidden from sight so no one else could look at you.
There wasn't time to figure out the signs. One minute you were asleep on the couch, the next you're wide awake in a small room while Soldier attached a leash to you, smiling widely.
You were trapped in Merasmus' castle, who Soldier neck snapped. You were allowed anywhere but outside. You were safe from any harm. If Lieutenant Bites scratched or bit you, his skin was made into a hat.
Soldier loves to play with your hair. It was long now so he could braid it or put it up. The castle was falling apart, since Soldier would pay attention to you and only you. You're actually healthy for the poor living conditions you live in. You are fed bread, pudding, and carrots everyday. You rely on water that drips from the ceiling. Soldier brings you dinners fit for royalty, water and juices, if you listen to him. Sometimes, he leashes you up like a dog and takes you outside for a walk. He stands guard outside when you do your business or sleep.
"I love you my little maggot!'
Pyro:
He was crazy from the start no doubt about it. You were sweet, kind, caring, and affectionate. Pyro wanted all that for himself.
It was an invitation to a tea party that lured you in. He spiked the tea and dragged you away. Where you live was like a child's room. There was a bed, wardrobe and a gated up window. It was one room. Pyro burned anything and anyone who came in. If Pyro hurt you accidently, he smothers you with kisses and puts himself in time-out.
He loves playing with you and tries not to hurt you in anyway. If you disobey Pyro, he puts you in the time-out corner. He makes dolls of the two of you and plays with them. He gives you kisses with his mask on and sleeps right next to you. You write him love letters, give him hugs, or kisses just to get something. Pyro always has to hold your hand when you get a chance to go outside or do something, even while brushing your teeth, which he does for you.
Pyro basically babies you. He feeds you, showers you, he even flushes the toilet for you! He gets you checked up by doctors, who he burns to a crisp after you examinations, and provides you with everything to keep you healthy.
"Mmphmmph!"
Engineer:
He liked how you shared similar interests. He was fascinated by you and how you worked machines. You'd be perfect if you were part machine like him.
You woke up in a rusty workshop one day. Your limbs had been cut off and replaced with robotic ones. It was painful! Engineer checks on those parts every now and then. You're forced to use the restroom when Engie has to go. You eat when he does and you sleep when he does. You rely heavily on dispensers when you're not fed. You're only fed when you allow Engie to work on your prosthetics. He feeds you occasionally, but it's all nasty stuff. At least it keeps you alive.
He loves cuddling. A little too much if you ask me. He squeezes you a little hard when hugging. If you ever disobey he squeezes you so hard, you pass out. He always wants to caress your metal limbs and steal a kiss or two. He plays his guitar for you on somedays. The sentries are your only friends now that they talk. Engineer literally beats them down to scrap metal if you give them too much attention.
"Ah love ya so much, my little honey sugar."
Demo:
It was through Monoculus he went yandere. Merasmus was using the giant eye to stalk you. They both liked you very much, but Demo liked you more than the wizard. He found you and "took" you to DeGroot's Keep against your will. Merasmus was found in bits everywhere.
Demo likes to keep you in a haze by keeping you boozed up on rum. You two get along swell when you're on Scrumpy. He shattered Eyelander into a million pieces for flirting with you. His mother keeps the two of you fed. She's the only one Demo lets you talk to. She fears for her son. Demo showers you when you get stinky or barf on yourself. He sings to you and always talks about the best things about you.
He loves kissing you while you're cuffed up or chained to the bed. He sleeps with his arm wrapped around you. If you disobey him, you have to spend the night in the cold dungeon. You're allowed to roam around the courtyard. There's sticky bomb traps set outside the keep so you can't leave.
"I love yah more than my bottol 'o scrumpy!"
Heavy:
He's not that yandere to be honest, just overprotective...-ish. Sure he has a shrine dedicated to you but that's it!
Heavy took you to his house in Russia and kicked out his family. He kept Sasha but gave her bed to you. He chains your wrist to his, so if you ever have to go to the restroom at night, he gets up and follows you. You are fed bear meat and shrimpy vegetables Heavy attempted to grow. He allows you to contact family, but as long as you say what he tells you. Your parents know that you're living with your boyfriend somewhere in the mountains definitely located where you worked as a mercenary.
Heavy loves to admire your tiny hands, even though they're bruised from attempted escapes. He makes sure you're warm at all times. Sometimes, you heat up, so Heavy takes you out for bear hunting. He tries to be gentle with you. He lets you shower yourself because he fears breaking something. Medic is the only one allowed inside the house. But if he gets too close to you in anyway shape or form, he leaves with a broken nose.
"Da, let Heavy love and care for leetle Y/n."
Sniper:
It took a while for him to go yandere. It started when you saved his butt from the enemy Spy. He fell in love and didn't want guys like Spy to be around you.
He took you out on a camping trip where he drugged you and drove away. You two live inside the camper which is parked in a cave hidden from people. Sniper gives you boundaries. But he tends to kiss you or caress your arm. He told your family and friends you died in an accident so now the whole world thinks you're dead. He brings home animals he hunted down and fruit from bushes. You are safe to say you eat well. Every night, the camper is locked and chained up. If you need to use the restroom, use the jars. Sniper always sleeps with you in his arms.
Sniper loves to take you hunting. If it's too dangerous, he chains you to the cave or keeps you locked up in the camper. You take baths in the nearby lake. If you ever disobey him, you're drugged up. He doesn't like hurting you at all, so he relies on the drugs. As a form of affection, he makes you a necklace of teeth from admirers who tried to find you.
"Luv ya roo, don't ever leave."
Medic:
The first checkup he ever gave you is what caused him to go yandere. You were sweet and actually interested in what he had to say. He couldn't let someone like you leave his life! He had to do something!
Medic drugged you up and slaughter the entire team. He threatened the Administrator not to say anything and took you to a hospital where he murdered everyone. You woke up strapped onto an operating table after Medic gave you a tracking chip. He chose which rooms to sleep in. You both relied heavily on the food shipments the hospital received. Medic made it look as if it were still operating. You were allowed outside. There was an electrical fence that ran around the building so you couldn't leave.
Medic loves giving you (un)necessary checkups. If you are able to complete it without whining, he gives you a kiss. He always does your laundry so he can enjoy smelling your scent off your clothes. He feeds you like you are a doll. No one is allowed near you, not even the doves. Archimedes' organs were donated after he pooped on you. Medic feeds you every fruit excepts apples, which he tends to punch into a mush.
"Täubchen, oh Täubchen, how I adore jou!"
Spy:
He thought you were pleasant to talk to. He loved how you used such strong vocabulary. He was really impressed. He wanted more.
Spy took you out on a date and you ended up at his house. It was in the middle of nowhere, but it was nice. You had to obey Spy or else your family would be killed. He takes good care of you. He feds you occasionally. He cooks for you. He doesn't shower you, but he preps the bath for you. He reads to you every night before he chains you to himself.
He loves kissing you passionately. He quotes romantic phrases in French, which you actually like hearing. Spy lets you take off his mask. He takes you out to other houses he owns, which are also in the middle of nowhere. He keeps tidy and even lets you clean with him. Spy goes insane if you get hurt, even if it's a small cut. He'll think you're dying. The dungeon/cellar is where you go if you disobey, although Spy joins you so you don't feel lonely.
"Je vous aime, ma cherie."
BONUS
Miss Pauling:
You were the newest assistant to The Administrator. She made you go on missions with Pauling. You were amazing at covering up evidence! It's like the two of you weren't even there! You gave Pauling a lot of time to rest and she loved you for that.
Pauling killed the Administrator and took you to her base in Organ Needle. She kept a watchful eye on you. You roamed about with nothing to do. Miss Pauling walks with you around the mountains. She talks to you about how dull her life was before you walked in.
She loves to rest on your lap. She sleeps resting her head on your shoulder. The two of you watch what the RED and BLU teams do everyday and keep a watch on them. If a mercenary came to the base, Miss Pauling would shoot them. Thankfully they would respawn. She gives you your own space when showering and using the restroom. She begs you to let her fed and brush your teeth, otherwise you'd end up with a bruised hip.
"You know, you're not so bad."

Okay so upon thinking about this for a little bit, I think I finally figured out who Genevieve and Ivy Nicole would get along with best in Fairhaven.
Genevieve
Romantically:
Amira because of how flirtatious and outgoing she is. Amira would bring Gen out of her shell and do it in a way that's fun for both of them. Amira though would also scratch that itch that Gen has which makes her want to take risks on occasion (not explaining what that means sksksks).
(Sadly) Westley from what I know about him. He owns a magical bookstore. He's soft-spoken. Sure the whole werewolf thing is gonna be hard to navigate but they'll make do.
If I had to pick someone that isn't a romance candidate I would say Parker :) (in this case him and Lina don't stay together sksksksksk). He's a genuinely really sweet guy and she absolutely loves that he builds things. She also adores that he's a dad and that he cares so much about his kids. I think they'd work out well overall!
Platonically:
Genevieve would really like Bruno. She would love listening to him tell stories and maybe even sitting with him while he's fishing. She just really respects his whole thing, she imagines being a fisherman is not very easy. She also likes to keep an eye on him, since everything happened with Otto. She doesn't want him slipping into the bottle more than he already has.
Hazel! I think Genevieve would just adore her! She likes how eccentric she is and how just 'Hazel' she is if that makes sense. She was devastated when Hazel started getting ill. She tries to make food and deliver it to her, so she doesn't have to worry about it. Genevieve really enjoys talking to Hazel and taking walks with her.
Ivy Nicole
Romantically:
Damon!!!! He's so fun and flirty (in a different way than Amira is!) He's playful and isn't afraid to get a little mischievous. They would get along really well. Also, Damon seems to fall rather hard pretty quickly, so Ivy Nicole is just like him in that regard. She also would like hanging out at his bar while he works sksksksk.
Kai would also catch Ivy Nicole's attention! She would love to listen to him talk about surfing and different kinds of waves. She would also love going to the beach with him, maybe even getting in the water herself, even if she wouldn't surf. She would be anxious actually watching him on his board, but it would also be thrilling! She would love making him hot meals to help warm him up from being in the water!
Picking someone that isn't a romanceable option... Zephyr! Ohmygod Ivy Nicole would be so madly in love with her! She's weird! She's excitable! She's a goblin that lives in a magical realm? Of course, Ivy Nicole would think that was like the coolest thing ever! She also thinks it's soooo cool that Zephyr is so handy and seems to be able to do so much with her magic. Not to mention Zephyr seems to care SO much about the folks of Fairhaven, and Ivy Nicole admires that massively❤️
Platonically
Violet hands down would be Ivy Nicole's best friend. Violet is so fun and outgoing! They'd have a blast. Plus, Ivy Nicole thinks it's soooo cool that she makes clothes and what not sksksksk. You'd catch these two ladies laughing and having a good time in Violet's shop and whispering about other villagers sksksksk.

since i am going to see the jonas brothers in concert, i figured i would give you guys my reaction to 'the album' since it just dropped !
miracle
first listen thru, i had not a single clue what the ever loving fuck they were saying. like, at all. thank god for genius for the lyrics lol
joe's vocals are INSANE on this album. already, with just this song. i always thought nick's were better, but damn… joe is giving him a run for his money.
fun song. like the piano being the leading instrument. good song to vibe to.
montana sky
country jonas brothers? i would be into it.
this song is really fun. a different vibe than the previous one, but equally as vibey to listen to.
kinda reminds me of sister golden hair by america, just not as sad
would have loved a bridge but it's fine.
wings
this song came out before the album. i like it. i wouldn't say it's my favorite.
i think lyrically it's a bit too simple to be a song really. it's also extremely short. but i like the general idea of it.
i wish it was longer, more flushed out into a fuller song. or at least repeated for one more verse.
sail away
one of my immediate favorites first time i listened. the pre-chorus is so groovy. highkey a great song to dance to.
and as if it wasn't obvious, every song is about their wives. which is nice, but does make me feel perpetually lonely lol
americana
first listen thru, again, couldn't understand wtf they were saying. but i looked up the lyrics and… they're fine i guess.
there is a bit of a nostalgic feel to them. the imagery they give. feels like a summer song.
but a bit too idealistic for me, if that makes sense.

this song is amazing, and a great end to the album. the choir is a beauty touch to the song, makes the song so much more majestic.
i will say the only part i didn't like about this song was the almost-dubstep electronic breakdown that happens towards the end of the song.
but that's the only part i didn't like. the rest is top notch.
OVERALL
every song is too short. it's kinda weird how many of these songs are barely over 2 minutes. not that the jonas brothers ever wrote super long songs, but these feel incredibly short to me. i also think that whenever the jonas brothers work with someone new, they absorb them and their style. and here, it's a bit of a toss between being really fun to hear these funky, 70s-esque mixed synth songs and not as fun bc it ends up not sounding like them to me. you can tell jon bellion was on this album, and i barely know any of his music. i will say the one true downside, to me, of this album is the amount of autotune that is on the vocals. i understand it's not bc they suck at singing, it's an artistic choice. but i feel like some of the songs didn't need it, and kinda took the authenticity that the jonas brothers bring to their music away. their vocals are their shining star, i think, and covering that up with noticeable autotune flattens a lot of these songs. also, a lot of the songs end abruptly or just don't really have an ending that makes sense.
i have a feeling that this album will be more of a grower on me, bc as of right now i think it's fine but not my favorite. i said the same thing about pretty much every new album i've heard this year, and the jonas brothers' last album, happiness begins. i think the first half of this album is the best. and i kinda wished there was one more ballad on here.
i'm also gonna make a bit of a controversial take (possibly): i love that the jonas brothers love their wives and their daughters. that's great, and there is nothing wrong with writing about either of those two things. however, please write about something else. back in the day, the jonas brothers - on top of being fantastic at writing romantic songs - were also very good at breakup/heartache songs. i don't want them to experience hardships when it comes to their spouses or children, but you need to break up the "i-love-my-wife-and-kids" fest with other songs. a whole album like that is kinda boring, and this is somewhat proof of that. like, we get it… you love your wives. but please find something else to write about.

i feel like i was kinda negative about this album, but i do genuinely like it. i just wanted more, i think. or had a different idea in my head of what it would sound like. but i know i will grow to like this album, like i have with all of their albums. just some came more easily than others haha

somehow your story flow and dialogue is always so natural but still interesting ?! how TT
also bonus : which upcoming fic/wip are you the most excited for ? 💓💓💓

to be 100% honest with you all, I very much projected like most authors and I kind of just go with the flow.
but for fics that i like to make a bit more intricate, like the iso no awabi series and another upcoming fic i'm writing, i like to use a bit more than just "winging it"
so first, i like to set the plot. who are the characters, what's happening, how do the interact with each other, do they like each other etc. of course, this can change any time throughout your fic so never be afraid to change it up a bit
i also like to try to have the solution to any conflict and a way to solve the conflict, so there's 100% a lot of worldbuilding, which isn't all that fun until you put the fic out.
also, something new i've been doing, i write scenes for parts of my fic i know will be there and then as i'm writing, just slot it in. i've gone from 10 to 4 to 2 and back to 4 docs right now for my upcoming fic, so i'm going a little crazy with it sksksk
and sometimes a beta works, but are often not for everyone, so i don't recommend if you're new to writing and don't want to feel like you're being torn down because i personally like my betas harsh and to the point but some people don't like that. so if you do get a beta, make sure you set clear boundaries
also! it's fun to have little sticky notes of extra stuff you want to include in your fic just to make it seem not as stale or dark i guess, unless that's what you were going for
as for my dialogue, i try not to use big words. sometimes, the urge to use juxtaposing comes across me but i tend to operate by assuming that someone reading this might not be a native english speaker and i stray from uncommon words. i also try to make it feel like an actual conversation, and i've had @holyhyacinths (WHO COPIED MY AESTHETIC) act out scenes with me. or talking to yourself, which is kind of weird
i also have a great writing support system in the perpollo server, and i also enjoy complaining about how hard writing is to @sappho-of-space and @whoreofdixnysus or sometimes just for an extra writing boost
also, never be afraid to take inspo from other texts and fics. there's this one fic, i really like their characterization of one character so i tend to use their interpretation of that character in my writing. although, it can sometimes veer too close to plagiarism so be careful!
bonus! i'm very excited to be working on my ancient greek perpollo fic that has recently undergone a title change. it's gone from arabian nights to death, suits you dear sir. i'm having a shit ton of fun and there is a lot of research and i will be obnoxious with the linking for this fic, but it is a lot of fun
as for upcoming wip, i'm really excited for is the ao3 author perpollo trope i have planned, a few harry potter things, and a reboot of one of my first fics ever posted.
and honorary mention, the final installment of iso no awabi. it's kind of weird that it's coming to and end tbh, but you all have been so supportive.

SKSKSK I'M SORRY ABOUT OUR TRAINS it's such a mess atm I swear
But OK YES Jack in AU5 is fun because of course the Doctor doesn't go an study journalism at university and so she does not meet Jack at this point. However, Jack is definitely still in this verse - he just ends up graduating with significantly less trauma, hooray! I'm not sure exactly how he ends up bumping into John and Koschei, but it's an extremely rare occasion where the two of them are not in the same room (they're normally inseparable to the point of ridiculousness) and so then Jack meets John first, alone. And Jack thinks John is great - essentially a labrador retriever incarnate - and they hit it off really quick. Only later does Jack meet Koschei, who is...significantly more unnerving and is immediately like Who The Hell Are You even as John is like :) I have a new friend!! Koschei has his reasons, but he isn't THAT friendly towards Jack for a long while, and Jack honestly thinks that Koschei is a little creepy and possessive, but their unhealthily co-dependent relationship is clearly two-sided, so he sort of accepts it. They probably ended up meeting him in the middle of a case or something - Jack studied history so maybe it's some old building or something. Not sure exactly what goes on, but after this Jack sort of end up regularly helping them out with other cases because 1) it's fun 2) he likes hanging out with John 3) he's still a bit unsure about john just constantly hanging out with Koschei sksksksks. He doesn't really realise until he seems them interacting on a case when they forget he's there with them/thought he was in the other room, and so some of their masks come down (especially Koschei's) and Jack realises that there is more to both of them than meets the eye.
HOWEVER, it's not until The Incident where John gets his head smacked in (because of course) and Koschei finds him unconscious that Jack actually starts to UNDERSTAND Koschei, because his immediately response is panic, and being extremely overprotective to the point that it's paranoid. Jack has to coax him into letting him step into the ROOM, let alone coming close enough to help. It does not help matters when John wakes up with a hell of a headache and no memories whatsoever. Jack drags them both to hospital, John gets taken in, and then Jack has to talk Koschei through what's grown into a full panic attack - and it's here that he finally gets a sense of what the HELL the deal is between these two. A significant part of Koschei's problem the entire time has been this fear of John being taken away from him, and all he wants is to keep them safe. This incident completely changes Jack's view on Koschei, and he actually quite likes the guy afterwards because he suddenly gets where he's coming from. Koschei also accepts Jack a bit more too, because of everything he does.
John does get his memories back completely in this verse, so everything is fine in that regard. The fun thing is later, on another case, Koschei is the one who gets hurt, and Jack expects to have John be the exact same as Koschei was when he got hurt - i.e. scared, panicked, and needing to be reassured and talked into doing sensible things like taking Koschei to hospital. He expects them to be even more fidgety and restless than usual. However. That's not what he gets. Instead, he gets John going very still, with a thousand yard stare, and then he gets up and just walks off to go and find the people who did this. And he obviously can't fight them all but he does something doctor-y and clever which is just. Scary and awful and Jack watches him do it, watches him turn this happy, naive and friendly personality into a mask that isn't real at all and use it to get these people to underestimate him, pretending he's scared and doesn't know what's going on, and...honestly it freaks Jack out SO MUCH becuase he thought Koschei was the dangerous scary one, but then he's watching John being borderline clinical as he makes these guys suffer and it's...well, it makes him realise that Koschei was being more open and honest about who he is as a person the entire time, and that John has an extremely dark streak that he keeps absurdly well hidden. Very uncanny valley.
And then AS WELL as this, Jack is like 'oh wait these two love each other' and attempts to get them to admit this to each other because the tension is getting painful to watch. Only...it's not as simple as that, because John does NOT understand their feelings and they're in this nebulous aroace grey area where John doesn't think they can give Koschei what he wants if it's a Normal Relationship, and the idea of that frankly freaks them out. And then Koschei has his own issues in this as well. But Jack's needling gets them to eventually talk it out because Jack is wrong, they aren't 'in love' with each other in the way that Jack or the world would understand it, but they are in their own way...and they decide to define what their relationship is for themselves. (after a lot of panic and miscommunication ofc HAHA)

Hi Spooky !! So I’ve been getting through some of the recs you gave me for my Halloween marathon :33 AND i saw Child’s Play — which i liked way more than I thought i would, like it’s genuinely pretty funny And i cant wait to watch the sequels, leTS FUCKING GOOO — Yesterday was Idle Hands which sksksks wanna a silly little movie, ‘twas truly delightful, all the characters are fun/cool except for Anton most of the movie so it took a while for me to feel bad for him, BUT i did eventually, i really enjoyed it so it’s definitely up there for the rewatchbility of it !! — I CANT REMEMBER IF YOU RECOMMENDED POLTERGEIST OR NOT ??? I think you did but anyways I really liked it !!! The supernatural stuff is pretty mild + the 80s special effects make it not that scary to me, also i felt really bad for that fucking family ? What the hell ?!?! The dad was the fucking mvp he did The Most and he looked great doing it (10/10 - could watch again)
NOW for movies that ik you didn’t recommend but have been mentioned here at some point: Black Telephone and Butcher Baker Nightmare Maker. I saw someone recommended BT for you a whole ago and if you haven’t had the time yet to watch it please know it’s super worth it !!!! The main characters are really good and interesting and the acting is just phenomenal, specIALLY THE KIDS WTH, AND theres a bit of a supernatural thing to it but it was just fun/good for the plot and not so much trying to get you to shit ur pants, ya know?
AND for BBNM, i was very excited for this movie, to me it was a classic like 80s slasher, the tENSION, the creative like weapon choices, the like twist/break the killer goes through (like after its clear to us/other characters they did it) and THE ACTORS ARE JUST PHENOMENAL — like the aunt is/has been basically grooming her nephew since he was 3 and god does it show, some scenes are so creepy, and moments were someone would you know question her/ her actions, he doesn’t even Think to doubt her, it was terrible (but in a good way, story wise) OH AND BILL PAXTON, he doesn’t show up a lot (i think with dialogue for 2 or 3 scenes maybe) and he plays classic homophobic with daddy issues so 😐 but he did look good tho so theres that

POLTERGEIST! That completely slipped my mind, I didn't watch it often but I do remember parts of it and it's really good. And I did see the black phone!!! It was so good I mean the protagonist was so smart and using the ghost of the children was a haunting aspect I didn't expect but so glad they did it. Gwen was my favorite character she reminded me of how I was as a kid and I also have prophetic dreams like her. So does my one grandmother. We both dream of family deaths and major events going to happen and it almost always comes true so it was so different to see them utilize that in the movie. I went in expecting a kidnapping survival and got so much more!!
And bro I have GOT to watch it!! I couldn't find it under Butcher Baker Nightmare Maker so I saw someone recommend searching Night Warning and there it is (Idk why they picked these titles bc it makes it so much harder to find bro ong) and yeeaahhh I kind of expect the homophobia and sexism in 80s movies I just try to take it with a grain of salt I think that's why I like Lost Boys and Near Dark sm bc...Wow...An 80s movie with an 80s aesthetic...and no homophobia or sexism or racism? OMFG FINALLY!!
Another one with Bill I watched but was HORRIBLE was Boxing Helena. I'm usually not a snob with movies but it was like bad cheesy softcore porn for someone with weird fetishes. The guy/doctor is basically an incest mommy issues guy bc of his vapid mother who just 'died' out of nowhere and he inherited her home and he's engaged to a wonderful woman that is also a doctor and too good for him but the kicker is he is OBSESSED with a woman that he had a one night stand with years ago and wants nothing to do with him but he's a toxic fucking weirdo that does everything he can (Including cutting her limbs off....You heard me.) in order to make her dependent on him bc...Shocker; she reminds him of his shitty Mom. You are filthy rich go to therapy you freak. I felt zero remorse for him and the movie tries to make you sympathize with him and it's like...Why?
THE ONLY part, I do mean, THE ONLY FUCKING PART worth watching is the explict Bill Paxton sex scene the first 15 minutes he has the woman's entire boob in his mouth while he's grinding her hips on his uh...And MOANING while he does it...I'd scream w/o the s on the spot if I was her istg 💦 Like I was so flustered bc I DID NOT expect it to be that explict 😳😳😳

first concert ever and latest concert a.k.a. the ONLY ever concert i've been to (hopefully more could go to more soon) was shawn mendes but the craziest thing about it was i went alone sksksks. BUT i had theeee best time just dancing and singing and screaming and the girl beside me and she was so nice and she took a picture of me and i took a picture of her bc her friend was on another seat. during the whole this she was also screaming her heart out and barely got her phone out so it was a vibe. (apart from a few who was just like...sitting and nodding behind us like.. ok u do u i guess) like honestly, i know ppl think it's sad going to a concert by yourself but it's literally not at all. especially with if you're a fan of who's playing, you're going to meet ppl and you get to bond over the music and artist and it's great sksksks
first concert ever??? that deserves a bit of a CELEBRATION 🔥🎉 i can imagine location doesn't help if you're into western musicians, so it's wonderful that you had this opportunity <3<3 so, so happy that you had such a wonderful time!!! and you see, making friends at a show is so easy, you just vibe together. it's 100% amazing
fun fact: every time i go see any band my frank plays in (more recently it's been ls dunes if anyone's interested lmao), i always always see these old friends i made way back in 2014-2015 because we went to several frank's solo shows back then, and we created such a powerful bond that even if you don't talk to these people on the regular, you'll see them on a show and it's like seeing your bestest friend after 3 weeks away. i definitely recommend going to live shows and making new friends there, and sometimes going with your irl friend can undermine that experience a little
basically you came to the right place. most of the time i go to shows by myself. i looove going to shows with friends of course, but it's so rare that i like a band that anybody else i know irl likes too, not to mention that the bands i like rarely play here, so i have to travel and people around me can't really afford to go on a whim like that (sidenote: this is a perk of not owning a car, you can spend that money on concerts instead 🙃) so anyway. going to a show by yourself --and doing anything you like by yourself-- does not mean loneliness! it means fun and liberty and honestly? lack of fear going staying true to the things you like

Aunty L had enough of it and basically passed her to Anthony so he could deal with her dramatics sksksks i love it. and knowing Cherie, Anthony is probably the only one who could ease her worries in quick solutions but also……Whorish Ways™️ LMAO.

Navegante & Jorge Salcedo

A/N: This is just a fun little something because I like putting these two in a room together.

Jorge prided himself on being the type of person who never owed anyone anything. He made a habit of clearing his metaphorical debts quickly, or just never accumulating them at all. It made his life easier that way. The last thing he needed in his line of work was owing more than what was already expected of him. He tried to make sure that he was the person that people owed favors to.
All of that to say, for a man who tried not to owe anyone anything, he certainly never wanted to be in the position of owing Navegante of all people. And to be in the unique set of circumstances where he now owed Navegante his life? It was about as far from his preferred track as he could’ve landed even if he was trying.
For all of Navegante’s quirks, he did have a habit of being in the right place at the right time to at least serve himself if nothing else. That, and the man seemed to be able to get in and out of bed with some of the most dangerous people in the world and he was still walking around in one piece. Jorge would never admit it out loud, but in his head he had to admit that that was the kind of person you at least wanted on your side.
When Navegante referred to them as friends it felt like a bit of a stretch, but Jorge didn’t have it in him to tell the man that he was wrong. His timing was impeccable, as per usual. It had only been about twenty-four hours since Navegante dubbed them as pals when Jorge found himself in desperate need of a friend, or at least someone who didn’t want him dead.
He arrived with a symphony of screeching tires and gunfire. Stopping the car, he leaned over and opened the passenger side door for Jorge to get in. The smile on his face didn’t at all fit the chaotic scene unfolding around him, but it fit Navegante perfectly.
Jorge was scrambling into the car, his brain too wrapped up in what was going on around them to truly process and appreciate whatever humorous remark Navegante said when he was yanking the door shut. Not that it mattered to the man behind the wheel, who was laughing at himself plenty.
“No te preocupes, ah?” Navegante said as he pressed down on the gas and sped off, completely unperturbed by the bullets hitting his back windshield. “I got you.”
Jorge felt like he was still filled with enough adrenaline to send him into cardiac arrest, meanwhile Navegante had the same look on his face someone else might have when they were setting off for a Sunday drive. He didn’t have it in him to say anything, but even so, he didn’t know how much he was truly comforted by the notion of Navegante being the person who had his back. At least he was the only one who seemed uncertain about it. He’d figure out how to pay off that debt later, because he had a feeling he was going to have to be more creative than he’d been in the past.

🤥 LYING - are they good liars? do they have tells to show they're lying?
Andy: Erm no. He would not be a good liar. I feel you can tell he fidgets more when he's nervous. Tangling his fingers together, tugging on his sleeves or even readjusting his glasses. 'Cause they're his little nervous ticks I'd say more rampant, if that makes sense.
Frances: To an extent. But she truly doesn't like lying and doesn't do it often. I think she'd be able to hide it better because she was already taught to be very prim and proper and she can use that kinda as a mask. That's usually used for more emotional things she tries to hide, but definitely could work for a lie. BUT— when she can't hide it, you can tell. She'll just have a lil bit of a pained expression sksksk
Richard: sksksk I don't talk about him much because he's like my own character not rlly tied to anything. But he's a great liar. And you won't be able to tell he's lying. He's got the businessman ability to be a piece of shit and look you directly in the eyes, knowing he's getting the better end of the stick, even if that means a lie or two mixed in there.
👪 FAMILY - what is their family like? what is your ocs relationship to them? does your oc have any siblings?
Andy: His family is a great lil average family. They don't have much, work with what they have, and love what they're able to have. His family is genuinely close to their neighbors, not in a just neighborly way, but in a legitimate friend of the family way. They come together and have Barbecues, help out with yard work and what not. Oh and I'm not gonna talk abt his extended family. It's fucking big.
Andy is very close to his mom. I feel she tries to never let him feel left out for being the middle child and truly tries to treat all of her kids with proper love & affection and respect. His mom may have a specific soft spot for Andy though, as he was the softer one of her boys.
Andy has two other siblings!! He has an older brother Julio who is in college, and a younger sister named Yolanda!! Andy and Julio have had to share a room practically their entire life and have butted heads from time to time. But he really looks up to Julio and loves him dearly. And Yolanda and him!!! They are the closest!! Andy loves hanging out with her, showing her the plants he's learned to identify through boy scouts and leading her around. They are probably only a year or two apart, whereas I think him and his brother are maybe 3 years? I'm still working them out.
Richard: Ohhh....this guy loves his family. He'll tell you they are his absolute priority. Everything he does, it's for them. He is utterly in love with his wife, Kathleen. And Emily, his daughter is daddy's little girl. She honestly could get anything she wants! She still follows her dad's strict rules, while knowing how fun and playful he can be. Emily is around 8 years old. Richard's biggest issue family wise is his work! He is a workaholic to the max, and constantly either late, or bringing the office home. He has to go on business trips from time to time, sometimes his family can join, sometimes they can't. When they can't, it's definitely rough. Richard misses his family a ton, and maybe that's why he goes out and has some fun. Yes; Richard is a cheater, which his family is unaware about. I hope that first part makes a lil more sense now.
Richard is an only child and has a little rocky relationship with his father. He respected him, but sometimes that is all there felt there was; just respect. When Richard started growing into his own him and his father worked out a lot of stuff. His father helped him become the stern, proper man he is. Richard was always close to his mother, making sure to help around the house so she didn't have to do anything all on her own, as his father, too, was a hard working businessman.
🍧 SHAVED ICE - do they still have any objects from their childhood? what significance does it have to them? what would their reaction be if they lost it?
Andy: He still has a toy airplane that is hung from his side of the room's ceiling. He's had it since he was a baby. He's never pulled it down, he's just use to it there, he likes it. He's always thought planes were cool. Andy likes looking at it because apparently his dad picked it out for him. Andy doesn't have much things like this, so he holds it dearly to him.
⏳ HOURGLASS - are they usually late or on-time?
Andy: Tries to be on time. Mom says is disrespectful to show up late, that person is giving you their time. But for family occasions not hosted at his house? His family is coming in a lil late. Sksksksks
Frances: Shows up early, but in a normal way. It's the proper thing to do. She would never come an hour or so early, she feels that is dropping in the hosts time, and doesn't think that is fair.
💔 BROKEN HEART - what could their partner do that would absolutely break their heart?
Frances: she would be heart broken to find out he was a cheater. I think that is rather obvious and common, but she just would be devastated. All she ever wants to do is be the best she can, and that means giving her all in a relationship. And a bit more specific one for her, which I won't elaborate on, but be like Dante. That would send her into a little bit of a crisis.
Andy: If I'm being real; probably their first fight. Andy is already getting ready to lay in bed for the next week after it happens. He's never had a girlfriend yet, so he really thinks the first fight is gonna be the end. Talking to his mama about all the things he should have or could have done, when in reality it rlly was neither of their fault and will probably end up realizing they were just better as friends sksksksk.

Just wanted to let you know, you are an absolute breath of fresh air. Recently, I've been feeling like the creativity in the fan fiction community (whether that be written or on YouTube) has seriously been lacking. Everything seems repetitive and quick. It all lacks unique story lines, time and effort. Most of the stuff is either in bullet point format or fake texts. It's exhausting trying to find a creative, unique fantasy writer (I know not everything has to be some exciting, riveting fantasy, but even the mundane stories are boring, so there is, basically, nothing fantasy). It seems like all of them have either left, or are writing for a group I no longer support. And worst yet, if you give them constructive criticism, they put you on blast and call it hate.
I finally found that style in you. I'm straight, but I wanna give you the biggest kiss😭😭 please keep writing forever, and you can honestly do this professionally (if you don't already). You're great, and you deserve the best things. I pray you get the best of life. You seem so sweet, too!

On another note, I kinda get what you mean about the current fanfic community. Hate to say it, but the environment is undeniably a little oversaturated (much like the K-pop industry if we're being honest, but let's not get into that🙊).
