You seem to have forgotten that it's Valentine's Day, but he hasn't.

Note: I just thought of this in the middle of my history class, so it's short af (469 words), and I apologize for any mistakes since English is not my first language😅

It was past midnight as you made your way through the dark hallway towards your room. It was another exhausting day of work, filled with lots of meetings and tons of paperwork. And as always, there was nothing you wanted more than to lay in bed and drift off to the world of dreams.. However, you felt like you were forgetting something, not just then but throughout the whole day.

As you were lost in thought, you didn't realize when you arrived in front of your room. What caught you off guard, however, was how the door was slightly agapped. Preparing for the worst, you slowly entered the room, looking around cautiously. The room was dark, the only light coming from the moon as it helped you see a figure sitting on the chair near your bed. Upon getting closer, you finally managed to fully see who the intruder was.. Your eyes widened as you looked at his peacefully sleeping self. "Luci?", you said quietly. Was he waiting for you? Why didn't he just call you? So many questions popped up in your head, but they were quickly pushed aside as you took a closer look at him. He was holding something.. it was one of his rubber ducks, but that one was slightly different. It was holding a small red heart with the words 'I love you!" written on it. 

And then it clicked.. it was Valentine's Day. "Oh no.. I completely forgot!", you almost shouted as your gaze shifted from the little duck to the peacefully sleeping man in front of you. 

You gently caressed his face as you felt him nuzzling into the warmth of your hand. His eyes slowly opened as he sleepily looked towards you. It took him some time to realize your presence, but when he did, his eyes lit up, and a smile appeared on his face. "N/n!", he exclaimed excitedly as he practically jumped from the chair and embraced you. "Happy Valentine's Day, love!", he told you as he put the duck in your hands.

"Thank you, Luci.. you shouldn't have, though..", you felt awful for forgetting such a thing. And knowing that he waited for you for who knows how long, just so he can give you his gift, wasn't making it any better. "I'm sorry.. but I haven't gotten you anything. I‐", he cut you off by closing the distance between the two of you, his soft lips shushing you and your worries.

"You being with me is enough.. it's the best gift I could get, truly!", he resured you after ending the kiss, his eyes filled with love and affection as they looked at you.

You couldn't help but smile at him. He was so sweet, so caring.. It made you wonder what you did to deserve him.

The other day, I couldn't stop thinking about this flashback in episode 7 that was on screen for like a second because I was just so enamored with the way Louis is reacting to Lestat's "death".

Just the way he is cradling his head and the scream crying he is doing just breaks my heart.

And just knowing that during the filming Jacob was actually CRYING from seeing Sam in this state makes it so much more heartbreaking and real!

Like god, even though Louis never really told Lestat that he loved him this just proves the exact opposite of what Lestat thought Louis thought of him. Louis just looooooooooved Lestat so fucking much. It's crazy and it hurts me just knowing this going into s2 ahhhhhh!

Just looking at this picture makes me so fucking sad. 😭
