I deleted my post about artists and the innacuracies of their interpretation of canon text because it seems like the point I was trying to make was entirely missed by some and I'll take responsibility for that. I also know it would’ve been wiser to have made the same post without sharing the art and will be more mindful in the future.

A few notes I'll make: Art has influence, just as words do. Freedom of expression is a right that also comes with great responsibility. How a visual artist portrays a character or a scene in a book matters and I hope artists bear that in mind when they create. My main issue wasn't with the art itself. If it'd just been an idea the artist had for portraying the characters, I wouldn't have bat an eye. I might've even liked it. However, by attaching a very specific scene of a book to said art, while the art depicted the scene in a distorted way, it raised questions and thoughts that I chose to express publicly. I considered whether or not to share publicly and include tags, as I always do before posting, because I knew it would be an invitation to engagement. I don't always post everything I want, or include tags, because I'm aware of what it can bring into my circle. I hope artists who share their art publicly also have that same awareness.

And for those who essentially said something's wrong with me for being so rigid in my logic, thank you for pointing out something I've struggled with all my life.

I am ideed very passionate about being true to the text, fiction and nonfiction, and doing justice to the characters, especially the ones who get so much hate simply because they are linked romantically to another character.

It's not that serious, until it becomes.

и - used for long i sounds, like ирена - irena

й - short i, the best way to deacribe is If youd type it with a Y in latin, it probably uses й! for example:

край - kray, while краи would be kraee instead (ee as in evil). i hope this made sense! also й ALWAYS needs vowels around it otherwise you cant pronounce it. sounds like yo, yu, ya, oy, ay, uy, etc.

as for ъ and ь , its similar, the first one is pronounced as in the word Under, while ь is a soft sound like latin Y again. for example кьоше is kyoshe. if you wrote it къоше it would be kuhh-o-she instead! thats what its used for, and never at the start of the word, and always with a vowel after i believe.

i dunno the third one since we dont use it in bg RIP but i hope his helped!!

@x-eins yeah thanks that helps!!! in that case й seems like it is kind of a 'j' in czech, because i think in most cases where the english transcription would use y, we use j (sounds the same), e.g. kray – kraj, perestroyka – perestrojka, yogurt – jogurt etc lol

with ь and ъ it's a bit more complicated lol but comparing with czech i think the first one is a bit of a mix between: our háček (what we call the hat in the hat letters - č, š, ň, ť, ď, ž), which is basically an indicator to soften the letter in question; our j, again, but only when it's after the consonants which don't have a hat letter version in cz (k, l, p, v, b, m, g, f, h), which again somewhat softens them (e.g. pyotr would be Pjotr in a czech transcription, though that might be written as пётр lmao, but let's not get into ё); our i, which also sometimes softens the consonant preceding it but only if that consonant is d, t, or n (DON'T ASK ME WHY THIS IS SO COMPLICATED); and our ě which again softens consonants (there are rules as to which consonants can precede it but essentially the english transcription of it would be 'ye').

ъ on the other hand is like??? what the hell. but as far as i understand it it's only used in front of certain vowels which *could* soften a consonant, but the ъ is there to indicate that they don't.... and some websites say it's only used after the prefix before a root word if the prefix ends with a consonant and the root word begins with one of the potentially softening sounds which would have y in them in the english transcription (я, ю, е, ё, so words like объезд or подъезд, which are objezd and podjezd respectively in cz, but this is the j that importantly doesn't soften certain consonants... 😮‍💨 this is where it gets kind of tangled up and confusing, but essentially podjezd if written as podězd would be like writing the word without the ъ in cyrillic...). but these rules might vary across slavic languages lol i wouldn't be surprised if they did, i think a lot of the pronunciation rules i am able to get my hands on are russian pronunciation rules

and as far as i understand it the one that you don't use, ы, is basically what would be y in czech, WHICH FOR US IS A HARD SOUND TO MAKE EVERYTHING VERY EASY FOR PEOPLE WISHING TO LEARN CZECH. we literally call it "tvrdé y" (hard y) and we call i "měkké i" (soft i), and where i would soften a consonant, y doesn't (it never softens anything) lmao and we also have a whole set of rules around when to use which i/y FOR THE CASES WHERE THEY SOUND THE SAME (the cases where i doesn't soften a consonant)

sorry this accidentally ended up containing a lot of unnecessary and cursed info about czech which is making me question how the fuck i ever got competent at speaking/writing/pronouncing this language 🫠

charlesleclerc recently it has come to my notice that some of the fans have been sending hate to yn and making hurtful comments.

yn is one of the most beautiful people in my life, and I am extremely lucky to have her. she deserves the entire world and it hurts not only her, but me too when I see the messages that she has been receiving.

she is absolutely perfect for me and I love her with all my heart. we have mutually chosen to keep our relationship private, and ask that you respect that. if you were one of the people who sent the hate, know that supporting me means supporting the people I love as well.

You woke up to the constant sound of notifications coming from your phone. Rubbing your bleary eyes, you try and lean back in an attempt to reach the side table, stopped only by the tightening of the arms around your waist.

"Go back to sleep". Charles's voice is muffled, only part of his face visible with the rest smushed against the pillow. "Its too early."

Smiling softly, you lift his arm from your body. He groans, eyes opening to look up at you.

"Theres a lot of notifications amour", you explain. "I need to check what it is."

Rolling his eyes in defeat, he lets go of you, letting you pick up your phone and open twitter to see why so many people were talking about you.

Eyebrows furrowing in confusion, you see many people mentioning a post that Charles had supposedly posted last night. Looking over to him, you ask.

"Did you post something on Instagram yesterday?"

"Huh? Oh yeah." He doesn't bother elaborating, choosing to instead let his head fall back on the pillow, closing his eyes to block out the light.

Chuckling at his reaction, you switch to the Instagram app. Immediately met with 4 different pictures of yourself, you scroll down and read Charles's caption. Sighing when you realise he too had seen the tweets, you put your phone away, lying back down to face him.

"You didn't have to post that amour."

"I wanted to. They were being mean to you." he replies without a second of hesitation. "Je t'aime, d'accord? They have it all wrong, it is me who doesn't deserve you."

Nodding, you reply. "Thank you."

You snuggle closer to him, tucking your head underneath his own. You feel him press a small kiss to your forehead before once again pulling you in, his grip keeping you from moving.

Softly, you whisper. "Je t'aime toujours aussi."

Okay, here we go. Rating literary allusions in Taylor Swift songs:

The Outside: "I tried to take the road less traveled by /but nothing seems to work the first few times/am I right?"--Starting off pretty well! She tried to take the road less traveled by, but it didn't make any difference. 8/10

Love Story: Whole song allusion to Romeo and Juliet-- All those 2008 jokes about Taylor not having read R&J weren't funny then and they aren't funny now. It's a fun, satisfying subversion. However, I am going to dock points for the fact that Romeo and Juliet aren't a prince and princess, just rich. 7/10

Love Story: "You were Romeo/I was a scarlet letter"--Is the Juliet character in "Love Story" being publicly shamed? Did she do something scandalous? There are zero other lines in this song to suggest that she did, and a fair amount of evidence that she didn't. This allusion confuses rather than clarifies and tbh this is the one people should've made fun of in 2008. 2/10

New Romantics: "We show off our different scarlet letters/ trust me, mine is better" --Hooray! She figured out what the book is about! This is a beautifully executed allusion, where "scarlet letters" represents a mark of something shameful which, in a fun subversion, is being shown off with pride. Fits the song really well. Most improved award, 11/10

Getaway Car: "It was the best of times, the worst of crimes" (A Tale of Two Cities) -- Goes in the category of "fun wordplay, but doesn't really mean anything deeper" 5/10

This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things: "Feeling so Gatsby for that whole year" --This is a perfectly serviceable allusion, but not a super interesting one. Sub "Gatsby" out with "nostalgic" and the song wouldn't change at all. She could've done a lot more with the reference, given the subject matter of the song. 6/10

cardigan: "I knew you/tried to change the ending/Peter losing Wendy" -- This works! You get a sense of Betty losing her innocence and choosing to leave James and of it being inevitable somehow. Plus, it imbues the song with a lovely fairy tale quality. 10/10

illicit affairs: "take the road less traveled by/tell yourself you can always stop" -- To take the road less traveled by is to do something risky, unpopular, or unfamiliar, not just to take a route through town where you won't run into people. Not totally egregious, but the regression from Debut is disappointing. 4/10

invisible string: "and isn't it just so pretty to think/ that all along there was some/ invisible string tying you to me."(The Sun Also Rises)--Ugggggh. Okay, so "Isn't it pretty to think so?" is this sad, tired, ironic note in The Sun Also Rises. Brett tells Jake, "We could have had a damned good time together" and Jake says "Isn't it pretty to think so?" because their whole situationship was never going to work. It's not a positive thing; it's pure, bitter Lost Generation irony. Completely out-of-place in a song about how two people we're supposed to believe will actually work as a couple. This one drives me nuts, and I don't even like Hemingway. 0/10

happiness: "I hope she'll be a beautiful fool/ who takes my spot next to you" (Gatsby)--Saying this about an ex's future SO is so... off. Like, the reason why Daisy hopes her daughter will be a beautiful fool is because it's easy. The two situations have nothing to do with one another, and not in an interesting way. 1/10

The Albatross: whole song allusion to "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner," but most notably "She's the albatross/ she is here to destroy you"--The albatross in the Rime is a good omen. The Mariner shoots is for no reason, and the albatross's death is the ostensible source of bad fortune. I wrote a whole separate post on this here. That said, culturally "albatross=bad omen" is common enough, so whatever. 3/10

I Hate It Here: "I will go to secret gardens in my mind/ people need a key to get to/ the only one is mine" -- I like this one a lot. Exactly the right vibe for the song, trying to escape something miserable by going somewhere pleasant. The key is a nice touch. Poor Archibald. 10/10

The Prophecy: "I got cursed like Eve got bitten" --No Taylor, that's not what happened. Famously, Eve was the biter in that situation. 0/10

Cassandra: whole song allusion -- correct me if I'm wrong (I haven't actually read the Illiad), but my understanding is that Cassandra died fairly far into the Trojan war, and not by burning. 4/10

#this probably isn't exhausive lol #but it's what i've got off the top of my head #this was weirdly cathartic to write #you guys know i adore taylor swift but literary allusions have always been my biggest nitpick with her #i would just like to send her to an English class or gently help her out or something idk #tay tay #i'm aware that i'm not addressing Peter off ttpd but that song is such a nothingburger that i really can't be bothered #pontifications and creations #literature makes us more human

hello, everyone. this will be my first and only time i will be publicly addressing this. i am not answering questions about this, and for the first time ever, i am also disallowing anons.

first of all, i want to say that i've chosen to address this now out of my own volition. because i do not find it fair at all that i have felt that i could NOT address it at any point in order to maintain peace and harmony during, and in the wake of the event.

however, i feel that due to the nature of what happened, and the absolute damage that it has done to my mental health, that i must, in order to further my own recovery from it all, and as so no longer feel bullied into silence.

there will be no names mentioned. this is not a vaguepost. this is my formal statement for my own peace of mind and progressing on my path towards recovery.

if you know, you know; and if you don't, you don't.

so.

let's talk.

throughout this past year i have been the target of a smear campaign concerning GOOMT. it actually began late 2022, but escalated long into 2023.

what entailed was nothing short of bad faith reading and interpretation from someone whose skill in character analysis was something i'd admired. in fact, i had agreed many a time with how they'd interpreted characters and the world of Silent Hill. although my interaction with said person had historically been minimal, it had been civil, and i strived to be respectful of them.

i am unfortunately unsure of what caused this, or why it happened at all; and i do not think they know either. what i do know is that many upon many lies were told about what i write, and that it turned needlessly personal on many occasions. people were turned against me for one reason another, and i'm saddened to have seen this happen.

i stayed quiet during it all. i did what many people facing ruthless targeted harassment do, and pretended i didn't know in hopes of minimizing damage, and in hopes of responsible parties losing interest; but this did not happen. i was sent bad faith anons, i was subject to lies, and saw hypocrisy.

and i understood who they were and why they were here. they were looking for "gotcha's!" that didn't exist, digging for reasons to further vilify me.

worse, the bullying was praised. it was encouraged, and it was near-constant. a whole tag was created. the intent was to hurt and isolate me, and it did. it did hurt me, and it did make me feel isolated, and i withdrew quite a bit.

but i did not stop writing. it took longer for me to post, but i did not stop writing.

and moreover?

i REFUSE to stop writing.

i write a fanfic for a fandom i love. i am as how you see me and how i present myself. i'm enthusiastic and encouraging to others because that is genuinely how i feel. i LOVE to see others create. i LOVE to see the vast amount of interpretations, and silliness, and new OCs and pairings and OC/canon pairings, and i LOVE to see others thrive.

and i am in competition with exactly no one.

i did nothing wrong. i KNOW i did nothing wrong. i also know that those involved know that i did nothing wrong, and i did nothing to deserve the treatment i received, no matter how they try to justify it to themselves.

the behavior i faced, and how others reacted with encouragement and cheer is becoming too common and too normalized.

and it needs to stop.

i've been in therapy for the better part of my life. although i've been without a therapist since i've moved, i've finally found one to not only continue my lifelong recovery in other matters, but to help myself recover from what i faced this year.

i am extremely hurt. i know that this was the goal, and it has succeeded. if hearing this fills those involved with pride and glee, then something is wrong, because that should not elicit that reaction. i am extremely, deeply disappointed in those involved for this, and all the hypocrisy, and all the contradictions, and all the willful bad faith asks sent and posts made.

and i have done nothing wrong.

i do not hate anyone. i do not hate who started this, or even who engaged with them; and i never did.

it is okay if someone doesn't like what or how i write. in fact, i have made multiple posts about how i view my attitude towards my writing. one of the points i have made is that i encourage people who do not like what i write, to NOT read it.

there is a very old saying on fandom internet: Don't Like? Don't Read. now, this should be obvious, but the practice of hate-reading is an extremely unhealthy behavior that has, again, become unfortunately normalized in the recent handful of years.

unlearn hate-reading. you do not read to read anything you do not like. it, in many cases, can actually constitute as self-harm. and if you choose to do this, it is not the author's fault.

it is yours. and you need to take responsibility for your own actions.

there are people here who were needlessly cruel to me and who i feel do not feel a lick of remorse for what they've done. i hope some day that they can reflect with a clearer head and understand, and take some responsibility for their actions.

and i genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, with full raw sincerity, hope that they do get to heal; that they do learn and grow; that they UNlearn these toxic behaviors; are able to move away from people who exhibit them; find the courage and strength to stand up for themselves and/or others, to end the cycle; and that they understand that i do not hate them, and that i wish them full success in their future health and endeavors.

that said, i hope all involved will never forget the harm they have done. i hope they cringe. i hope it keeps them up at night, and i dearly hope they actually regret their actions, or at some point come to regret it.

i do not hate any one of them, and i won't. i never will.

and never will anyone involved ever be forgiven for it either.

most of all - and on a much lighter note - i want to say thank you to those who supported me during this time. your patience and reassurance has been a saving grace that words unfortunately cannot do justice. you are precious to me, and i love you all, and i hope that i can be just as strong and supportive to you in your times of need.

thank you too to all my readers, my followers, and my friends. i'm sorry to have been largely absent this past year, but this was the reason why. next year it will be better, not just for me, but for all of us. i promise. i love you all.

i also love me, my art, my writing as a whole, and myself. i am a tough cookie. i may have cried a lot, i may have gotten frustrated and angry, but i am human. i'm allowed to feel this way, and i will feel this way for a while as i heal, yet i refuse to be bitter; and i refuse to stop loving what i do.

because i love GOOMT. i love developing GOOMT, i love drawing for GOOMT, and i love writing GOOMT. i always will love GOOMT, no matter how many years more it takes for me to write it. so thank you to all who have read and enjoyed GOOMT, and have matched my enthusiasm for it and its future. i am so, SO blessed to have you here, and i am SO excited to spin my story.

and i am so, SO glad to be alive to be able to share my piece of this silly foggy world with you.

They both scrutinized every moment they shared alone.

Jack knew what the press is like, so since he met you and both decided to start a relationship, they decided to keep him private for at least a while.

Being able to enjoy your boy, without having people who are continually criticizing what they were doing, is beautiful.

It was beautiful, but at the same time stressful, having to go out and do everything secretly, stopped being something fun, after the first few months.

Were you willing to put up with it? Yes, because you enjoyed every moment with Jack.

But… As in most cases, there was a very big but, you liked privacy and everything that came with it, but… At the same time you wanted to be able to show off a little about your relationship.

For a few weeks, Jack had begun to imagine, how you would look in the area for relatives at games, wearing his number, with his family.

J- there is something I want to talk to you about. You could notice your boyfriend somewhat nervous, you did not know if as much as you were, but you could notice it.

Y/N- it seems that we think the same, I must also mention something, but since you mentioned it, tell me. You cheered him up.

J- for a few weeks, I've been thinking about it and I would like us to make it public, I would like to see you in the games using my number, that you are with my family cheering me, if you think I am filling too much fast, please tell me.

Y/N- I don't know how, worse you've read my mind, I know we enjoy our privacy, but I think it's getting stressful and I know you want to protect me from the press, but believe me that little will matter what they say, as long as we are together.

Y/N- oh, believe me, as much as I value our privacy, I'm not going to miss the opportunity to show off my boy.

That night he went to bed with the agreement that little by little they would start posting about each other on their instagram and maybe after going publicly to one of their parties they would make an official post.

Several instagram posts later, they could see how you were welcomed by people, some Jack fans thanked you for the photos you posted of him, which seemed funny to you and there were also some hate comments that they clearly chose to ignore.

Official Simblreen Announcement!

This is my official announcement that I'm joining this year's Simblreen event! This will be my second time participating in Simblreen, however, unlike last year's event, I plan on having a porchlight on which will only be open for the days that the main Simblreen event is taking place which is on October 20-22, 27-29 (if you guys need specifics, my time zone is GMT +8). I will make a separate post on this blog when my porchlight is on or off. However, please read my instructions carefully since there is a trick to my trick-or-treating event!

In order to access any freebies from me, you have to choose between TRICK or TREAT for each weekend. And depending on your answer, that will be the cc set that you will receive from me. (Kind of similar to a gacha game but you actually still win either way) I have prepared 4 different sets so choose carefully whether you'd want a trick or a treat. Since this is my first time having a porchlight on, I didn't want to overwhelm myself too much with receiving asks, so you can only ask me once each weekend for which cc set you would like. Any duplicate asks that I might receive will all be deleted.

While the overall theme for all the sets from me this Simblreen is "mouth accessories," each set has its own specific vibe and themes and I won't be letting you guys know which one is which except for the last weekend in order to avoid any trigger warnings. The first sets on the first weekend aren't really Halloween-themed so I hope you guys don't mind but the ones on the second weekend are (however I'm pretty sure you guys can still use it outside of Halloween). To those who are scared of not being able to get all of my freebies, don't worry! I plan on releasing everything at the end of the Simblreen event! A/N: Hello! I absolutely love this idea and am really excited to write it haha! Thank you for the request and I hope you'll like this, anon! Content: Nothing too serious, just fluff and Neuvillette as a single father, mentions of chaotic auntie Furina- ((Not proofread.))

Neuvillette's child will most likely be a Hybird human with more noticeable dragonic features, which the man is quick to hide publicly for their own safety and good. He doesn't want his child to be treated differently by anyone and makes sure they gain the same respect he has by the people of Fountaine. Anyone that dares cross him on the matter, will quickly find out why that's a bad idea.

His child is the most spoiled kid in all of Fountaine, to say the least. He earns alot of mora, which he mostly spends on them. Seeing them get excited over new clothes or toys that he bought them makes him feel proud and content. Especially when he hears them giggle and laugh. He'll organise any parties or balls his child wants, making sure they are grand and formal, since they deserve the best only. He is so soft for them and isn't afraid to show it.

The Melusine act like older sisters for the kid. They taught them how to swim and don't mind them showing their dragonic features around them. They take the child on small adventures around Fountaine's beautiful landscapes and deep oceans, always mindful of their safety. They also take care of them, whilst Neuvillette's busy with work, which unfortunately happens alot more than he liked. But with so much company around, his child never feels too lonely.

And then... there is the Hydro Archon herself, who takes her self-proclaimed title as "Auntie Furina" very seriously. So serious in fact, that she even made upsetting the child borderline illegal. She was very smug about that... until she made them cry once on accident and had to nervously shuffle herself out of the consequences under the Ludex's dark glare in court. She's also not trusted on taking care of them much, mainly because Neuvillette doesn't want his child to rub off on her. But that doesn't stop her from making a little throne right next to hers for the kid to sit on and watch, whilst their father does his job. If anything, seeing their awe-filled gaze motivates the man to work harder.

His child, despite being obviously very spoiled, is still very humble and kind to all. Neuvillette made sure that they had a high sense of morality at a young age and understood the laws of Fountaine. He encourages them to have their own opinions as well and enjoys having long discussions with them on justice related topics once they are old enough.

So really, being his child comes with many potential ups and downs, but he ultimately does his best to make sure his child has the best life possible.

I am not by any means someone who has a large platform on the internet, but seeing as my most popular post of all time, seen by tens of thousands of people, was on hbomberguy's Plagiarism and You(Tube), I would like to publicly get my thoughts straight on what has happened since.

I've seen a lot of discussion about who is to blame for James' recent mental health crisis and I would like to firmly state that hbomberguy (and Kat, his producer), others who made good faith videos on the situation (The Ace Couple, Jessie Gender, Todd in the Shadows), and people who commented on the situation in good faith are not to blame in the slightest. At the same time, I understand that the sudden loss of support, friends, and a career undoubtedly harmed James Somerton and that it is upsetting to me to see anyone put in that position, regardless of their actions. I believe that hbomberguy used his platform responsibly. From the beginning, I noticed that he was making clear, intentional choices regarding his treatment of the situation, including framing Nick as a possible victim rather than an accomplice to the plagiarism, reminding his audience not to harass James Somerton, and refusing to stoop to personal attacks in his video. Having seen hbomberguy's professional handling of the situation, I believe that he is a person who has a good understanding of the sway he has online and how to use that power delicately. I'm sure a choice was made weighing the benefit of speaking out against the possible harm and I believe that hbomberguy & crew made the correct decision. The same goes for The Ace Couple, Jessie Gender, and Todd in the Shadows. I think it is a creator's duty to understand that regardless of how professionally they treat a situation, there are bound to be some bad actors in their audience who will attempt to harass others in their name. It seems to me that all of these creators understood that and made an educated decision to speak out publicly. Had they kept quiet, harm would have continued to be done to the authors and artists who had their work stolen and monetized by someone who did not fairly compensate them (or even acknowledge their existence). With this in mind, I do believe that it is important to have empathy for James as well. I understand feeling hurt, betrayed, and skeptical of the legitimacy of everything he says from this point on, knowing what we know now about how he built his career. I have those feelings myself. They are valid. However, there is no situation in which people should be publicly speculating on the legitimacy of his mental health struggles or celebrating his suffering. I do believe that James knew what he was doing, I believe he knew that he was causing some harm (to what extent he understood that, no one but James can say), and I do believe that it was wrong. At this point, the community does as well. I think the best thing for him would've been to step away from the internet, but at the same time, I understand why he did not. He went from being a fairly popular online queer voice to one of the community's most hated content creators. I imagine there was some whiplash and confusion and that it must've been upsetting and scary. James did not make the right decision in trying to come back and that poor choice was his own, but at the same time, I don't think there's much use in rehashing that to him in the comments of his apology or on Twitter.

I don't think it would've been any better to let his actions fade to complete obscurity, but I also believe that trying to hold him immediately accountable was doomed from the start. If there was a path forward as a content creator, James strayed far from it. Regardless, I think the moral thing to do right now is to treat him with grace and not speculate about his honesty or intentions online. I hesitate to invalidate people's concerns, but regardless, they don't belong in the public sphere at this moment.

Ultimately, I wish James the best. I hope he finds safety, comfort, and happiness going forwards. I also wish hbomberguy & team as well as all the other creators and audience members who spoke to their experiences in good faith all the best. These people are not to blame for James' mental health struggles. If we mean to reduce as much harm as possible, I think the ideal path forwards is show empathy for everyone involved and lay the idea of blame to rest.

Hiya! I hope you're doing well. I made the Hottest Star Wars Man Poll, so when your posts about it were brought to my attention, I felt I should probably reach out.

The polls are just for fun. I make them with no agenda, and I run them with no agenda. I've received messages talking about bots before, but I never wanted to get into the weeds about it.

However, as the discussion about bots is bigger than I realized, I guess now is as good a time as any to speak about it:

My opinion is that the spikes in Hux votes are a mere side-effect of the poll being passed around the internet and bringing in new voters in droves. As your Anon mentioned, @tomatette's edits might's also pulled in waves of people who voted for Hux out of fidelity to her.

I'm fine with the campaigning. As long as the vote is ultimately achieved by a human clicking on the vote themselves, it's alright by me. Hell, I always reblog 'propaganda' I particularly like, and I even requested some Anakin propaganda when he was in his elimination round. It's all fun and games to me.

However.

If anyone is using bots, I'm asking nicely for them to please stop. I'm going to pull the 'I'm not mad, I'm disappointed' card on anyone botting. The polls are all strictly unserious things, so I hope that nobody is taking them too seriously.

I just wanted to make a post cause I was upset about the possibility (and, as I've said, I don't have rock solid proof, just suspicions based on observations by myself and others, so like. If people don't agree with me, that's fine, it's all good - I just wanted to speak out in case it was happening like, as a kyluxer, I don't want people to think that if someone is botting, that's something we as a fandom are chill with). I honestly didn't expect it to get quite this much attention either but here we are. I do agree it's possible someone just got a bunch of people to vote within a small window of time, like anything is possible, always is. I just feel like some of the increases I saw, observations from others, and things I've heard are enough to warrant suspicion. If people do or do not agree that there's a reason to think it happened, that's their choice and I'm not going to insist that my word is law and they have to believe me. I don't have receipts, I was just expressing myself and I do appreciate amicable discussion even if my mind has not been changed as of yet

But yeah I agree, propaganda and making funny edits and posts - that's not at all what I was referring to in terms of 'cheating', but somewhere it seems that got mentioned in the discussion? (3 separate people have brought this up to me lmao, like thinking I'm accusing them but I am NOT and no one better be out there accusing them either without actual evidence beyond 'oh you posted about it' cause that's a shitty thing to do) and I also want to make it clear I am not against propaganda fun. That's all just part of it. If people are mad about that, that's their problem and they should use blacklist more liberally. Hi! Do you mind me asking how writblr works? I am new to tumblr and writblr.

Hey Love, thanks for the ask! And welcome to this little part of the internet.

I know there are detailed posts out there on this but I haven't been able to find them (if anyone has one, please feel free to link it!)

Writeblr is a community on Tumblr focused on writing. Most people I interact with are writing novels (as am I), but there are definitely people writing poetry and short stories and comics. Anyone who thinks themselves a writer can have a writing blog, even if we are not actively writing (me again).

Writeblr works best when you are interacting with other community members. This can be done in lots of different ways.

You can use the dash - liking, commenting and reblogging are all ways of interacting with other writeblrs. Liking won't create further interaction or spread a post but it does say you were there, and you enjoyed yourself; a comment allows you to interact with the op (original poster) and other users without spreading the post, and a reblog puts the post on your blog and the dash of your followers. You can use tags to talk if you don't want to add to the post or you can leave your thoughts in text for anyone who reblogs from you to have on their blog.

You've figured out asks already - these are a great way to publicly interact with other writeblrs.

You may encounter ask games: a post of a list of questions with symbols or numbers, usually related to writing or the users writeblr. You can send these questions to the blog who reblogged them to find out more about them or their WIP. The etiquette around these posts is that, if you reblog one, you send an ask to the user you reblogged it from. You can also send asks to anyone who reblogs it from you, to help everyone who wants an ask is getting at least one.

Then there are tag games. When you get tagged in a tag game go and read the rules on the post and read OPs post while you are there. Then create an original post following said rules. Tag the person who tagged you at the top of the post, and then tag people to nominate them to play at the bottom. Sometimes the game has a number of people you should tag, other times it's up to you. I like to tag 3 people I've interacted with recently.

You do not have to play if you've been tagged. No one will harass you over it. Writeblr should be fun for you. There is no algorithm - you create your own experience here, so if you don't like someone, unfollow or block. Those buttons are there for a reason.

So you have a blog, you've followed a few people, you've reblogged some great posts. Might be time to tell us you're here and what you are interested in!

Enter Intro Posts.

There are two main kinds of intro post:

one that tells us who you are and what you like, what you are working on and what you like to write.

Then there is the WIP (work in progress) intro post that tells us about what you are writing, the characters and themes, why we should be interested.

Both posts are useful for finding your tribe on writeblr. To find new blogs and wips, or to look at different examples of what you can do you can search for "Wip into" and "writeblr intro". There are more tags but these terms will get you started.

I'm going to end this here. I hope it helps. I'm sure there is more, but I have to take my cat to the vet!

The main thing to remember is that this is a community. If you want interaction and for people to care about what you are working on you have to put it out there first. Interact in the ways you want to see in your notes.

Why aren't you speaking up about the vile fans that are harassing Pedro, his friends and family. I am devastated that no one has put these fake fans in their place. I thought you of all people would.

I must preface this by mentioning that I'm Irish. We're biased on this issue. We have had help to find relative peace after years of division and terrorism. We are all too aware of how lucky we now are.

Why arent I speaking about the "vile fans" that are harrassing Pedro?

I report the twats in this fandom who he can't see pulling bullshit that affects his and his friends' personal lives so they can better protect themselves from it. I only call them out publicly when their bullshit over flows into my life.

Fans asking Pedro to call for a ceasefire are not pulling bullshit.

They're commenting on his replies to posts because they are frustrated by his silence on an issue that WILL affect all of our lives, and their passion is showing in disruptive ways that aren't to everyones taste. Replying to his comments is futile, but please don't shame people for trying to act in a time of desperation. Do I like it? No. Will it change his opinion? Probably not.

Their timelines are full of images of dead children, injured children being pulled from rubble to be labelled WCNSF (Wounded child. No surviving family), kidnapped people or murdered families. They're willing him to call out the same issues that the United Nations and many other governments are because people have lost their humanity.

We all know he used to love sounding off about political issues in support of the underdog but Pedro has been quiet since the Gina episode. Whether he would be in the right or not on political issues, Disney and Lucasfilm will not take kindly to him creating any controversy.

However much I would love to see him asking for a ceasefire, it isn't going to happen for a multitude of reasons. He's not going to be the person we tell him to be. He has free will. We must respect that. We need to manage our expectations with regards to what we see as the role of celebrities in political issues. It isn't in their job description and they usually fuck it up and the noise caused from that drowns out the credible sources trying to break through.

And yes, I've noticed how fake some of the fans are. The phrase "you're doing great girl" comes to mind. (Bless that man's sassy interactions with fair weather fans) Some are posting about his sexuality in the same cycle of stories as calls for him to denounce war crimes. It's completely fucked up.

Oh, and holding his fucking stalkers up as if they're the beacons of hope around here?! Those delusional psychos only posted saying they wouldn't talk about the gala AFTER ppl threatened to call them out if they posted about it. Never fall for their clout chasing bullshit! Their only motivation is social engagement, not the future of humanity. You can tell coz when they aren't virtue signalling, they're dehumanising a man for likes.

Since you've read this far..... if Pedro can't/won't speak, we can. Share international news outlets! Share factual information from countries who aren't financially supporting the war! Seek it out. Share it. Some people still haven't seen the full story. Some are choosing to pretend there aren't humans involved on both sides. Some are keeping quiet for personal reasons. Some because their employer will fire them or sue them for speaking out.

If any fans have questions around the issue of asking for a ceasefire and denouncing the current war crimes before the whole world descends in to a sea of international incidents of domestic terrorism at the request of Hezbollah and Iran, supported by Russian government, giving China the opportunity to fucking go to town, please feel free to educate yourselves below.

Hey there, I know you probably meant well with the reblog on antisemitism but OP’s blog is full of zionist dogwhistle reblogs and I’m hoping that doesn’t align with your specific thoughts on this matter. I think it’s important to tread carefully around this discourse because the conflation of criticism of Israel’s genocide with antisemitism is regularly used to silence supporters of Palestine.

Hey anon - the post I believe you're referencing didn't say a single thing about Israel's genocide, unless I'm missing it?

It talked about the experience within the wider Jewish diaspora of antisemitism being dismissed, how this is happening more and more, and how Jews not being surprised by this fact. This something that I have both 1) seen within my own communities and 2) heard multiple different IRL Jewish friends express--particularly that they are not surprised to be dismissed and be told, functionally, that it's all in their heads, and 3) can see in your implicit assumption that any antisemitism Jews claim to be experiencing is actually just others responses to genocide denial, and therefore any reports of antisemitism are just silencing tools rather than genuine experiences with prejudice.

Anon, I agree it is important to tread carefully, which for me also includes keeping in mind the experiences and threats my own Jewish friends here in America have received, as well as Israel's actions. But I don't thoroughly review the blog of every single person I reblog, and certainly not for posts about antisemitism when I don't do the same for posts about Palestinian experiences. Maybe that means I shouldn't be reblogging posts about either, then? I tend to see "not educated enough to say anything" as a cop out (particularly this deep into things), but I'd accept that criticism here if someone (you?) could help me find it specific to this topic, as it feels counter to what I've seen and been able to find as the broader opinion/requests of the movement.

And I am struggling too with receiving a request to publicly reassure everyone that I find Israel's treatment of the Palestinian people reprehensible (my first such request!) only after reblogging one post about diaspora antisemitism. I reblog multiple posts about Palestinian experiences weekly--but I'm also reminding myself that just as I don’t thoroughly review the blogs of everyone I see on my dash, others don't either, nor do I think it's a reasonable expectation for how people use tumbr.

*Sigh…*

Hello everyone. I apologize for disappearing for a while. I know I promised to finish all the confessions and close them indefinitely, but with everything that has been going on in the past few months, I have just been reflecting a lot. After much consideration, I have made a decision:

On January 2, 2024, I am considering deleting this blog.

So with this said, I guess you might be wondering why, Well, I'll list the reasons. Been doing so for this long right?

I had been hesitant to admit it, but after some contemplation, I have come to the realization that this blog is becoming a negative experience for me. I've had to make confessions that I don't agree with and deal with anonymous hate for sharing confessions that I didn't even write. Trying to please everyone has also affected my own beliefs. Additionally, the lack of western magical girl shows has resulted in repetitive confessions. It's unfortunate, but my feelings about this blog may continue to fluctuate.

From then till now, I always said that not all the confessions made were by me, but I do admit that some of them were my own. I just want to be honest with all of you. I'm not proud of some of the confessions I made. Some aged like milk. Even though I know that I may still come across certain confessions that leave a bad taste in my mouth to this day, I just want to leave this part of my life behind me.

I have been a fan of several TV series, such as Miraculous Ladybug, She-Ra, Equestria Girls, My Little Pony, many others. However, some of the fans of these shows have given me negative experiences that I don't want to remember. Sometimes, reading these confessions reminds me of those bad experiences. Hence, I want to move on and forget about them. Nevertheless, I will cherish the good memories that these shows and their fandom have given me.

I need assurance that I won't be able to access this blog again, in case I give in to the temptation of making confessions once more. My desire is to move on and channel my energy towards other productive activities that will benefit me in my life. This has been a long-term aspiration for me, which I didn't do entirely.

I know I've said this countless times in the past, but I'll say this for the final time. I'm dealing with personal things that are just a real ongoing struggle, and I want to focus all my time and energy on them. Running this blog has started to feel like a chore, and I believe I've gotten all the satisfaction from it that I wanted.

Also, I've thought about moving on to focus on more original projects. I don't want to completely share these ideas publicly yet, but I've been having some ideas in mind.

Lastly, I'm just tired of constantly having to explain myself. I know that I don't owe anyone an explanation and I am not obligated to keep this blog active, but I did. I did it because I genuinely cared about you all and wanted to create something fun for fans of the magical girl genre. I wanted to provide a platform for others to express their feelings and thoughts without fear of being canceled. Unfortunately, I no longer want to do this…

Sorry guys for the redundant posts lol Let's just hope that this will be the last one until this blog closes (or goes inactive indefinitely). There’s no guarantee that I will delete this blog, but I’m just saying prepare for the possibility in the future. So if there’s anything that you would like to save or archive, then now’s the time to do so. I'm not entirely sure if I'm going to finish the remaining confessions in the box or not, because there's a strong possibility that I'll delete this blog anyway.

So if anyone has any thoughts or ideas or anything, feel free to say so. I have to admit, I'm going to miss this blog, but this is probably for the best.
