Hey can you tell me about pigeons I like the noises they make and how they look 💥

PIGEONS (rock doves) ARE PUDGY AND SOFT AND KIND CREATURES and they have very complex and diverse coloration when living in cities thanks to a bunch of escaped domesticated ones breeding together. I think.. They’re also able to be trained and they have great navigation abilities so they were bred as messenger carrier pigeons in WW1 and WW2. Important Historical Significance I say.. but most importantly they have pink feet

(I hate to tell you that I only have Immense Enthusiasm for birds and I’m actually kind of Knowledge Bare on diverse bird facts so idk a lot about pigeons because I don’t live in a large city. Or at least I only have surface level knowledge. This will change. I’m ravenous for new DEEP CUT bird facts.)

I swear I saw a really in depth pigeon coloration post on tumblr once. You gotta trust me it’s out there… But you can still find other stuff :] pigeons are very overhated 💔 so it’s nice to want to learn about them! I also think their cooing sounds are lovely and unique

Like maybe they’re watching a movie before bed prey in their mouth (maybe they’re also watching, the preys head poking out the preds lips).

This is a great trope!

▪︎If they're watching a horror/scary movie the prey can just tuck their head into the robot's mouth with the rest of their body

▪︎Maybe the pred gulps the prey down once the movie is over

▪︎The prey might fall asleep inside the pred's mouth during the movie, now the pred either has to very carefully swallow the prey to not wake them up or the pred could keep the prey inside their mouth for the rest of the night

-Carrying prey around while the prey is inside their mouth is great in general

▪︎Due to the pred being a robot, they might have lights build into the inside of their mouth, which would be great for a prey who is afraid of the dark

▪︎Maybe also carrying prey around while doing tasks or while being in a place/ terrain which is dangerous for the prey

▪︎The pred carrying prey in their mouth to either comfort the prey or having the prey in the pred's mouth to comfort the pred

-It can also be used for shenanigens

▪︎Maybe the pred carries the prey in their mouth, because the pred or the prey lost a bet

▪︎The pred carrying the prey in their mouth to prank someone

The hallways clear for him. Optics glance upon him then break away, as if burned by the mere image of him. Hubbub fades into silence. His plating tightens with tension, not wholly his own.

His feet burn.

There's a reason the ship flinches away from him. It's never bothered him before. It still doesn't, but his feet burn. White and blue linger in his mind. If he looks askance, one of the mechs cringing away from his stride may be that blue and white, optics leaking impossibly with tears.

(None of them are, of course).

He hurries his pace. He feels Whirl take one look at him and fall into place behind him.

"What's with the-- the murder-strut, Cyclonus? You trying to get kicked off for being a Decepticon again?"

The what? Cyclonus cycles air completely-- one single, deliberate vent. Cool air in, hot air out, just to avoid giving Whirl the satisfaction of eye contact.

A claw taps his pauldron. Cyclonus ducks down a corridor.

"I'll make it easy on you. Just one good hit--"

"Whirl, do not posture at me that you are in better standing--" Cyclonus hisses out.

Whirl laughs, a sharp bark of static. "But I am, Purple. I've got the badge."

Whirl taps the offensively red emblem on his chest. Cyclonus stares at it, fangs bared unconsciously, vision swimming.

Just one hit. But vices like this-- are beneath him. He's disgusted for even being tempted.

"I will not play your games," Cyclonus declares. "I have better things to do other than help you self-destruct. Go."
