SINFUL SUNDAY UPDATE AS OF 3/12/23

Firstly, on the Sundays of December 24th and 31st, I won't be posting anything for Sinful Sunday. Given that it's the Christmas season and I'll be with my family, I've decided that the last Sinful Sunday of the year 2023 will be on Sunday, the 17th.

Due to the high volume of requests every Sunday, it's become physically challenging to complete all of them in a single day. To address this, I'm implementing a new rule – I'll be posting approximately 5 pieces for every Sinful Sunday. Any requests remaining in my inbox will be automatically scheduled for the following weekend.

I'll be adjusting the priority for Sinful Sunday requests, giving top priority to those that come in off-anon. While anonymous questions are still welcomed, I'll be initially focusing on non-anonymous requests.

I'm aware many of you enjoy the Hantengu Clones, but I kindly request not to ask for similar scenarios with different clones once a scenario has already been published with one of them.

I'm open to delving into darker content, so feel free to share your more intense thoughts/thirsts with me without hesitation! 🔥

I have a headcanon that he thinks tickling is fun, mainly bc I don’t want him to suffer. Also because it makes him laugh and smile but also makes his friends laugh and smile, which is precious. It’s clear in trailers and in-game that he loves to laugh in general.

ler!itto is another option bc he’s silly like that. He’s the type of guy to get revenge tickles every single time. I’ll let you choose who gets him or gets got by him. If u don’t wanna, that’s fine too! Your blog, your choice

I’d recommend inazuma characters, just anyone but Yae Miko or Raiden Shogun, I do not want them near him lmao

Hopefully, I don't mess up their characterization too bad- this will be my first time writing Itto AND Yoimiya.

Resting in the top of this tree had never felt less comforting. He leaned back, eyes shutting for a moment of respite that he knew would do him no good. Within his head, a thousand thoughts swirled, unbidden, to the surface. Clamoring angrily for his attention, almost. Itto gritted his teeth.

'Why do you mess up things like this? Why can't you just..fit in?'

'Just a little?'

He touched his hand to his face. The wetness upon his hand almost felt mocking. It was such a little thing. Why was this weighing on him now?

Itto sighed heavily. "I shouldn't mope about this," he told himself. "I don't deserve to mope about this stuff…Uh- this is below me, Itto, the one and oni..!" Even to him, his mutterings sounded hollow.

A solemn silence filled the air, save for the sound of the wind blowing gently through the village's wind chimes.

It was almost an infuriatingly fair-weathered day. The sun was shining, just enough to be warm, but not enough to scorch anybody for the crime of leaving the house. The sakura blooms were blossoming, soft petals dancing in the afternoon breeze. Children were laughing and frolicking in the tall grass, throwing balls and playing with toys their parents carved for them out of otogi wood and painted in many bright colors. Even the snack stalls were out and about. The smell of dango filled the air- the kind that Itto would smell commonly at festivals… wait a minute..

"Hey there, Itto! How's it going?" A voice below him made him yelp (in a very manly way) and almost fall off his perch (also in a very manly way). "Do ya want some dango? Surely sitting up there alone isn't all that fun on a good day like this!" He glanced down to see a rather familiar figure. "Ah..hey, Yoimiya. I'll take some, sure..!" Scrambling down from the tree and sliding down half of it in his haste to not make himself even more of a private embarrassment, he grabbed a stick of fish-shaped dango and quickly took a bite. "Ah, wait! Don't bite into that yet, it's hot-"

The oni bit back the screech of pain at the burning sensation in his mouth. Through watery eyes, he smiled slightly and gave her a thumbs up. He pulled the stick out of his mouth, chewing slowly. Yoimiya's hands flew up to her mouth. "Oh, are you okay??" Nodding through the pain, the geo user extended the stick towards her. "...wah ih bah?"

Yoimiya's experience with children speaking with their mouths full saved her the confusion. She shook her head vehemently. "Oh no, please keep it. I'll find you a place to throw that away in a moment. But first… are you alright?" Itto painfully swallowed the piping hot dessert quickly to respond. "I'm right…as rain!..Why do you ask?"

"You don't look too good, Itto…are you sure you're alright?" Yoimiya meant nothing by it, he was sure. It was probably because he had just done the equivalent of burning the entirety of the inside of his mouth. Even so, he felt more tears welling up in his eyes. Overwhelmed by emotion he was more than a little hesitant to express in front of the lady, he turned away from her. His shoulders trembled a little as he covered his face with both of his hands.

Yoimiya winced a little. She had suspected he wasn't doing too well when she found the rest of his crew wandering around without him. And, coupled with the look of concern that flashed on Shinobu's face when she asked about him, had spurred her to look for the man herself in hopes of finding out just how badly he was faring. Slowly, as to not startle him too much, she pulled the stick out of his hand and burned it to a crisp quickly. She was not half as slow to wrap her arms around him. "Hey, hey. It's okay. What's bothering you?"

The man's chest heaved, and as she patted his back soothingly, she felt his heartbeat. It was quick, not unlike a rabbit's. "You don't have to say anything if you don't feel up to it." He nodded into her shoulder, almost butting into her with his horns. "How about we find a better place to talk? I think it might be a little too open to chat about this stuff here."

He let her drag him to her house without much fanfare. If there was anything else that could make the firework creator any more concerned, it was the way Itto was behaving. The Itto she knew would be trying to act natural and walk ahead or beside her. Almost like a kicked puppy, the oni was trailing behind. His eyes seemed to be drawn towards the pavement below him. And, almost damningly, he was silent.

She opened the sliding door and slipped in ahead of him. "Welcome to my place!..Sorry, it's a little messy right now. I was working on some fireworks, and…" She trailed off, remembering swiftly why exactly she had brought him over. "Sorry, a bit too cheerful for the situation. Well..how do I make you feel better?" Itto had slipped in at some point, looking over the half-finished blueprints and the scatterings of gunpowder and colorful paper with interest.

"...I just…Yoimiya, do you think I needa try fitting in better?" Her head swiveled around so fast, she felt the muscles in her neck cramp a little. She bit back a wince. "Ehh…what?? Who made you think that?"

"I did… it just- y'know, feels like I always get my group in trouble for some reason or another. And then they tell me, well, onis are always like that an' stuff.. so should I just let my group go with Shinobu and find somewhere else to terrorize?" As he spoke, Yoimiya's eyebrows furrowed. With a strength he wasn't sure she had until just then, she gripped onto his shoulders firmly and shook him slightly. "Stop that, Itto. Those people are just being rude. And your presence isn't terrorizing anyone, and if they think that, then-then you tell them they should stop being scared of you!"

Itto's eyes were wide as she continued. Determination and passion infused every word she spoke to him, and a steely look he hadn't seen many times before seemed to pierce his very soul. "You're amazing, just the way you are. Shinobu and the rest of the gang love having you around. Why else would they still be you?" The oni felt a prickling in his eyes and he reached up to wipe away the tears that began to blur his vision. His voice wavered. "Thanks, Yoi…" He smiled, but it didn't quite reach his eyes.

The pyro user noticed. She pouted slightly, letting go of the man and placing her hands on her hips. "Not smiling still? On such a nice day? Now, this is a crime!" Tutting quietly and wiggling her finger, her amber eyes sparkled with playfulness. Any determination she expressed before seemed to have vaporized into thin air. "How about this- you can pay for your crimes quickly and easily, or you can resist arrest, and I'll catch you myself!" He looked at her, puzzled. "What are ya talkin about? I haven't done anything illegal for real, right?"

She sighed. "No, Itto. It's play talk. I wanna make you laugh like you always do, so…"

"Won't you give me a big smile, you big dork?"

Before he was able to respond, he found himself on the floor. The tatami mat was soft, almost bouncy. He yelped loudly, glancing up at his attacker. "AUG- Yoimiya, woah! Next time, warn a guy-"

Another yelp came from him at the sudden poke to his ribs. When he didn't push her away, her hands gently fluttered over his exposed ribs. He bucked instinctually. Yoimiya yelped, grabbing onto him for dear life. This only served to tickle more. "GaH! Hehehey, whahat-"

"I told you I wanted to hear you laugh again! What does it look like I'm doing, silly?" Itto's reply was too garbled with laughter to reply. Deep and rumbling, his laugh seemed to shake the entirety of his body with its intensity. Yoimiya's smile only grew as the oni below her showed no inclination to escape. From underneath her, his body was virtually limp, besides slight twitches here and there when she poked at his lower ribs. "Ah-hehe! Yohoimihiya, thihihis ihihis-"

"Is what? You do this to your friends all the time. Have they never managed to get you back?" As she spoke, her hands moved to his stomach, tracing the outline of his abs with a nail. A rather unmanly speal squeaked its way out of Itto. For a moment, their eyes locked in unbridled shock. The oni slapped his hands over his mouth. "Uhm…"

It wasn't silent for long. The pyro user took the short moment of reprise to taser his sides. "Okay, this silence doesn't sound like laughter to me." She watched as his shoulders shook and his eyes scrunched closed. But no noise came out from behind his hands. A fake frown settled on her face. "That won't do. Itto..~ could you let me hear your laughter?" He shook his head a little.

"Oh, come on. Okay, well.. if you don't want me to, I guess I have to make your laugh too loud to muffle!"

With that statement, Yoimiya tucked her hands into his sides, squeezing the muscle as firmly and quickly as she dared. Almost immediately, Itto's body seemed to jerk away from her hands. All compliance seemed to sail out the window the moment she got 'serious'. And, before long, she heard adorably high-pitched giggles. Muffled, and definitely restrained as much as possible, but audible.

"Mff-hihihi!" She watched as his ears turned red. "Awhh! Your giggles are soo CUTE!" Gently spidering her fingers over his sides only made his giggles louder. "Did I get you all worked up, just from this? Oh my archons, Itto.. you're such a cutie pie!"

"D-dohohon't sahahay thahat! Ihihi'm Ihihitto. Ihihi aihihin't cuhuHUTE-" Itto's voice hiked as she squeezed his hips. Unable to stop himself from curling into himself, he wrapped his arms around her and tugged her closer to him. Yoimiya could actively feel her heart melt. 'Why is such a big guy acting so cute right now? This has to be illegal. It has to be!'

Her hands drilled into his hips, and she felt his grip tighten around her. His shoulders shook with mirth. And, after a brief moment of giggles, Itto's laughter reached its loudest yet. Rough-edged, his laughter could scare someone if they heard it in the tides of battle. Coupled with his towering height, perhaps his stature and laugh would be reason enough for an entire squad of police officers to turn tail. Even so, the only feeling Yoimiya had for his laugh was fondness, a warm feeling that seemed to pervade every part of her body as she continued to drill and knead at the slightly protruding bone.

As he squirmed slightly, she could feel his heartbeat again. Just like before, it was quick. But this time, it didn't feel half as frantic as it was before. Testing the waters, Yoimiya's hands slowly moved towards his lower back. "He-hehehaha…! Hehehey!" She giggled at the way he tried to rest his chin on her shoulder. "I don't think I'm tall enough to be a chinrest… good try, though!"

As he grumbled in soft complaint, she decided to make it up to him by dragging her finger up his spine. The resulting yelp sounded both indignant and amused. "GAH! Yo, what was that for?!"

"Being all pouty in my ear is also illegal while I'm around!" Itto grumbled again. "Hmph, this stuff. I already told you, I didn't do anythin' wrong this time!"

The pyro user sighed. She shook her head slightly, her smile widening in a mix of both fondness and a tinge of resignment. "Ah, Itto. That's not what I meant. It's just a joke, okay? Nobody's arresting you." She couldn't help but giggle again at the confused sound he made, though. "It's just a tease! Don't Shinobu and the gang tease you like that?"

"No?"

"...okay, fair enough." Yoimiya's hands massaged at the tensest muscles she could feel in a soothing motion. She felt him sag in her grasp, and for a moment she reminded herself that his weight would probably be enough to crush her in this position. "Still, though. Are you feeling at least a little better now?"

He nodded. "Yeah.." The silent 'but' hung in the air. "You still want me to keep going?"

If it were virtually anyone else in any other situation, the sudden lack of noise would have been crushing. Nothing moved, not even the wind chimes outside. She took his silence (correctly) as acquiescence. "Alright, I hear you loud and clear."

"I didn't say anything!"

"You didn't need to say it, Itto. Now come on, let me make you smile again!"

Since everyone else has an intro post, I might as well have one too.

(OLD BLOG INTRO! I'M NOW MUTANT MAYHEM DONNIE!)

Hello, I am freshtrash44, but you may call me Trashi, Ash, or Asher (whichever suits you best). I use He/Him pronouns.

I am an autistic Korean teenager who is struggling to pass high school... but that isn't very important. What is important are my interests, and what I draw!

As I stated, it is evident that I am an artist. I enjoy drawing both Splatoon and Rise of the TMNT. However, since my ROTTMNT obsession is much more recent, you'll be seeing much more turtle content than squid content. That doesn't mean I have no interest in the silly squid game, though! Feel free to ask me any questions about either topics.

I have a very inconsistent posting schedule due to school, my inability to stay focused, and shoulder/back pain because I have horrible posture. However, these are the times I am generally active:

PDT Timezone

Sat-Sun: 8 am to 11 pm. So all day, basically.

Mon and Fri: 3:30 pm to 11 pm.

Tues-Thurs: 4:50 pm to 11 pm.

Also important!! (This time, it kinda is. I think.)

I'm currently in the makings of a ROTTMNT AU! It is called the Post-Krang AU (creative name, I know).

As the name implies, the events take place after the Kraang invasion. At this point in time, the Hamato family are accepted as heroes by New York, and the Mad Dogs are able to go to a normal, human high school!

It's sort of like the ending of Mutant Mayhem. The Hamatos are able to roam around the upside freely, without worry of being rejected. And much to Donnie's delight, they are also able to go to school and get educated! Thus, Raph, Leo, Donnie, and Mikey all go to school like normal teens. They can make human friends (who aren't April, Cass, and CJ. Oh, yeah, those three go to the same high school as the TMNT, too). They still fight crime, of course, but they're able to do so without the fear of being discovered.

I've seen many, and I mean MANY angsty AUs. While I'm a sucker for angst, I wanted to try something different. While the PKau still has a good amount of angst moments (courtesy of trauma), it's generally very wholesome and heart-warming. There isn't really a set storyline, either. Just the four turtles going to school and being normal teens for once.

I will be posting art about this AU, but as I said earlier, my posting schedule is very, very (and that's two verys) inconsistent, so please bear with me!

Talking about our dear Elan, I saw that you updated the game🥰I'll play it as soon as I finish this message, I'm missing him rn😔I was romancing the Psysichian in my second playthrough, but as as soon Elan's deathbed scene comes up, I drop everything to save that man lol

Oh! If you were in the Physician's shoes, what would do? Dying from plague really isn't a great way to go, but not everyone had the chance to say if they wanted the Nocturnal life for themselves since there's isn't much explanation before the bloodletting.

Kinda giggling now remembering Twilight because Edward spent 24/7 thinking about the dilemma of turning Bella, he felt as if he was condemning her soul to Hell😭

That's really impressive😮Writing is a skill that can be learnt and polished along the way, but I do think some people are naturally inclined to it. Is writing something you always liked to do?

You're right about that - sometimes little secrets, even, in a sense.

Oh, that's an interesting and tricky question, regarding what I would do if I were in the Physician's shoes... I would definitely want to be less secretive than her, that much I know; I would certainly try to be as upfront as I could from the start, and I would want people to be as well-informed as possible - not that it would be easy in certain situations, since many of her patients are delirious or actively dying without any time to think such a decision through. I would have too much of a bleeding heart to simply ignore the sick and go on with my day, even though the alternative isn't exactly ideal either...

Haha! I was unaware of that, I never read those books! Aah what a dilemma the vampires have...!

Aw, thank you! Yes, I have always been interested in writing; even before I learned how to read and write at age four, apparently I sat in my bed telling stories to my stuffed animals according to my parents, so it seems as if I have always wanted to get some stories out.

I feel very happy that I'm this motivated regarding my story - I think the fact that it's an interactive novel helps me combating writer's block since there are much alternative text and different ways to go; it's harder to find myself stuck when there is more to do, hehe.

I would say it made sense for you to be surprised about that even so, since it would have made a lot of sense for them to become a vampire, so I certainly wouldn't call it nonsense!

Ooh, let's see here! That's a tricky question in a sense, who I would romance, since I love all my character the same amount, but seeing this from an outside perspective, how I would have played the game if it wasn't mine and I didn't know what I know right now, thinking about the playstyle I would pick... I think I will have to say Aubrey, because I wouldn't be able to resist playing as an absolutely unhinged and ravenous character during my first playthrough, haha, just embracing each and every craving, and since Aubrey is and does just that, they would be quite compatible, my character and him... So chances are that his romance would come quite naturally to the sort of character I would amuse myself with!

Sexuality Headcanon: Owen has always been attracted to men and women, but wrote off the former in a 'who hasn't had gay thoughts am i right guys' way for many years. (He likes his men like he likes his women: driven, intelligent, infuriating, and snarky.) Once he comes to terms with his attraction to men, he is slightly overwhelmed by All The Labels out there that well-meaning people try to foist upon him (you're pan! you're bi! are you sure you're not straight?). He feels most comfortable labeling himself as queer and just living his best life.

Gender Headcanon: Cis male.

A ship I have with said character: Owen/Billy has taken over my entire brain (as evidenced by this entire blog and my ao3). Narrative foils!! Snark and sexual tension!! Enemies to friends to lovers!! Chaotic dumbass old men!! This ship has it all. (I also have a soft spot for Owen/Gwyn; they have an Excellent dynamic.)

A NOTP I have with said character: Owen/Catherine. I know Rob Lowe is a Republican but you CANNOT ever convince me that Owen is one or would date one, let alone date one who works for the governor of Texas and was canonically called 'Ann Coulter without the warmth'. And honestly?? They can Both do better. I hope to God we have seen the last of her.

A random headcanon: When TK was five and the three of them were at that wedding in Montauk that TK talked about in 3x09, Owen couldn't react or even breathe when he saw TK fall headfirst off the pier. After Gwyn saved TK and he saw that his son was okay, Owen shook TK hard and yelled at him for wandering off, and then hugged him So Hard and apologized for yelling. (He excused himself while Gwyn comforted TK and locked himself in the bathroom and had one of the most excruciating panic attacks of his life). After that, Owen insisted on being the one to teach TK how to swim, and every time he and Gwyn took TK to the ocean or the pool (or any body of water) after that, he didn't take his eyes off TK for even a second. Just In Case.

General Opinion over said character: I was mostly neutral about him at first (I didn't hate him, but I did find him annoying) but he's grown on me a lot, especially over the course of this last season. He's an impulsive idiot who makes a lot of bad decisions, but he's loyal and loves very fiercely and has a lot of pain and guilt beneath the superficial facade he puts on, and I'm very intrigued where they're going to take his character next. (And honestly, some of the hate he gets from the fandom feels very unwarranted. He's not a bad dad or a bad guy! He's just Not Perfect, and that's okay - a realization that I hope is part of his arc in the episodes to come.)

Tbh, I've seen your blog around, but you seemed like the popular blog™ in the Rick and Morty fandom, so I didn't dare to approach you. You can imagine what a fucking heart attack I had when you followed me xD

I admire your portrayal. You obviously have a deep understanding of your characters (and this goes for this blogs but also for the other ones) and I can appreciate a thoughtful portrayal. Many people just gloss over deep stuff, but instead you embrace and include it and that's what drew me the most towards your blog.

As for why I stayed, there are so many reasons. I can't list them all, because I'll end up writing the Divine Comedy, but I'll stick to the main ones.

I've mentioned, your portrayal is thoughtful, well developed and in-depth for how I see it. You try to dig into all of yours characters' recesses, no matter how ugly, and that's rare.

01. about me: my name is shannon! i'm 28 and live in eastern time. i've been in various tumblr rp scenes for roughly 13-14 years now, which you probably can't tell based on my choppy editing work lol, but i've been inactive for a while due to life. i work a fairly mentally draining full time job so to be safe i'll say for now that i'll be relatively low activity.

02. about writing: i will only write with mutuals, including askbox starter prompts; however, non-starter ask prompts are welcome from non-mutuals! additionally, i am happy to interact with multimuse blogs, duplicates, and original characters.

i'm okay with writing a variety of lengths - multi-para, single-para, one-liners, etc; i might prioritize shorter form replies at times due to how exhausted i constantly am, and might also accidentally turn a short-form into multiple paragraphs! never be stressed about matching me. i can pretty much work with anything!

03. about content and triggers: i will not be writing any explicit nsfw content, even with an "aged-up" megumi. due to the nature of jjk and the fact that i have au's that involve megumi as an adult, there will be some mature themes concerning violence, mental health, etc. as i write a megumi who is gay and trans, there may or may not be an exploration of identity and dysphoria. it depends on if it seems pertinent to what i'm writing in the moment, and i will definitely tag anything that gets too intense, but if i underestimate anything please tell me and i will tag it for you regardless.

i will not be writing anything that involves adult/minor relationships, incest, underage sexual content, etc. and for my own comfort will not be following/may block anyone who does. i try to avoid call-outs and drama as i don't have the energy left from my outside life, but i try to cultivate my dashboard accordingly.

i'd like as many people as possible to feel comfortable on my blog; as such i'll do my best to tag general triggers that i'm aware of. please do not at all hesitate to ask me to tag something i'm not tagging! additionally, to be clear, i don't tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia, antisemitism, and zionism in this space.

a few things that make me uncomfortable that i'd prefer tagged if possible: emetophobia, gore, body horror, arachnophobia. images only for me, i don't personally need these tagged if it's only in writing. thank you in advance!

04. about shipping and identity: as i mentioned, i write megumi as a gay trans guy. i tend to ship chemistry but i also ship itafushi and it will likely be the ship i'm most interested in writing. of course i absolutely won't force that on anyone writing yuji and am more than happy to just explore their friendship!

at the moment i don't imagine i will practice exclusivity with a specific character. i'm sure there will be some portrayals of characters that megumi and i vibe with more than others and i won't completely discount the idea, especially if i'm approached about it; but i like interacting with different portrayals and so for now i'm very open to writing with duplicates!

i will reiterate that i will not be shipping megumi with canonically adult jjk characters regardless of whether or not i am writing a verse where megumi is also an adult.

05. about plotting: i love that stuff! slide into my dms! ask for my discord! or we can wing it! i'm not picky. i'll like a starter call, i'll post a starter call, i'll post some silly little open one-liner, i just love interacting with people! as long as we're mutuals, go wild!

06. final thoughts: i always make a point to read rules before following. because of work, i'm not always on my computer to look at tumblr, so it may take some extra time before i follow back. that all being said, i have a bad memory and so while i'm striving not to do this, if there's anything i've done as a misstep in interacting with you, please tell me! i want you to feel comfortable and stress-free interacting with me, and have fun roleplaying!

Wow!!! Less than a month since I hit 1.2k and we're already up 100 followers! So, I have to say all this again. I'm literally so so so grateful for all my followers and ESPECIALLY the ones who send asks and reblog my posts and interact, you guys are the best 💕💕. I simply don't want any of this to end up in front of eyes that just want to enjoy their ships 💖💖💖 if there is anyone who doesn't want to see opinions against t*d*d*ku, k*r*b*ku, or even iz**ch*ka, please don't read any further! Anyways, hello!! Thank you so much for the ask!! I love talking about my opinion avkvmsocnaocjsoxks it also makes me really happy you like my blog 🥺🥺🥺 (I hope this answer doesn't ruin that avskvneognsocjs)

I'll start out by confirming that I'm not a multishipper. It makes me excited to see how the act of shipping itself can make others happy, but it's just not that way for me. I actually never read fanfic until I got into bnha (bkdk is just that powerful 😁😁) I'm actually...a little serious when i ship, or when i enjoy media, i analyze pretty heavily, so also, if that doesn't sound like anyone's cup of tea, i would once again recommend to stop reading and enjoy your day please!

I love analyzing characters and storylines and dynamics, but i will admit, I'm not a fan of most of the ships - not romantically. I think all the characters have interesting relationships to each other, all of the kids are great friends, and I love bonds and friendships so much 🥺🥺🥺

Those first two are perhaps the biggest, at least they definitely were the biggest when I first entered. Once i caught up, I didn't really understand the enthusiasm, but people have fun shipping, so that's nice! I think of those two as easy ships, if that makes sense? They're pretty simple, and easy to digest.

I personally am not a fan of romantic t*d*d*ku for a very specific reason; it feels weird to me for Todo to immediately fall in love with the first person who's ever shown him kindness (since his mother of course). Todo had never had any friends, nor any want for friends, obviously because of the abuse he faced as a child. Mido was his first exploration at a life outside of his father, a life he got to make for himself, it just doesn't feel right to me that he should immediately think "oh, is this romantic love? Is this the one and only for me?" Well, perhaps a teenager might think that way, but i don't think that's actually how he feels deep down, and I'm sure that's something a lot of us have to learn as we grow (I've definitely struggled with my own understanding of romance for the past 8 years). I think he still is trying to learn how to socialize and to make friends and to be a friend (and he's doing SUCH a good job!) But to immediately plunge into romance, which can be complicated, i don't think that would be right for him. I hope that makes sense! I know they're a very cute ship, which makes for fun! But again, I can be a little serious when i ship...

K*r*b*ku kind of falls into similar territory for me? Baku definitely had friends growing up, but he's seemed to always have trouble understanding his feelings and where he stands with others, causing trust issues. Kiri is really the first person he knew where he stood with, a person for him to be comfortable with and feel on equal ground, which i think is such a huge and positive role in his life, and i don't necessarily think that it needs to be romantic - for both of these, i think these relationships are incredibly important, to everyone involved, and making them romantic doesn't make them any more important!! In fact, i feel like them as friends actually can offer a more complex, interesting, and human dynamic between these characters, as sometimes people simply default to romance and then end up pushing for the same old tropes and ignore all the intricacies Horikoshi includes in his writing.

Again, I love Mido's friendship with Todo, and I love Baku's friendship with Kiri. I think these relationships are incredibly important, and friends are incredibly important. People who ship them are having fun, which is so lovely, and i hope they continue to have fun! I hope you personally find more fics about them that make you smile and brighten your day 💖💖💖

Iz**ch*ka is a little difficult, because they certainly are cute, separately and together. I thought they were cutest before Ura was told about her potential crush on Mido, when she was simply a source of bubbly energy and positivity that helped Mido open up and feel comfortable around other people. I feel though that, romantically, it's extraordinarily one-sided, and at this point, i have to wonder if they really are "end goal." End goal for shounen, of course, is hardly ever explicit ahzovndlfjsoxo but i feel like a better storyline for Horikoshi to take would be for Ura to realize that she's been confused, and these feelings haven't really been a positive experience for her. I've definitely gone through things like that as a teenager. Now, the ship can be very cute! They're basically the same person, and they're cute and bubbly! But again, it simply isn't for me.

I think Momjirou is very cute!! Of course, as a lesbian, i sense strong lesbian vibes from Momo, and strong bi vibes from Jirou, and I also saw the ship potential ever since the USJ attack - which i think, so did everyone else ahaovndofjsojfsk they're best friends without a doubt, though i have to say, i really like Kamijirou. She just makes him so soft, and he's so in awe of her, and she thinks he's so funny, I love how supportive he is of her, especially since she can be really insecure 🥺🥺🥺

I also think Ura and Tsu are very cute but another easy ship, and i kind of really like Ochamina 🥺 they're both pink and space themed, they're bubbly and energetic and kick ass, and i think they'd be super cute...

I saved todobaku for last, because, you know what they say, best for last! 😇😇😇

I've said it before, but if there was no Mido (impossible obviously, and i would never want that) then todobaku is where my heart would lie. Baku has never really been shown chasing after anyone except for Mido...and Todo, which really gets at my heart. There's a grudging respect there - very, very grudging ahakckdkfjskdk which i find very appealing! Todo is very important to Baku and he has also been able to show Baku some things about himself that he needed to question and reevaluate. Meanwhile, Todo puts up with exactly 0% of Baku's shit, which i find absolutely hilarious. It's funny to me how Baku wishes to intimidate Todo as he does everyone else, and Todo simply does not care. And Baku wants to be mad, and ends up mad that he can't be mad since Todo is a strong and worthy opponent. They just have such an interesting chemistry, there's so much friction, so much tension, and I enjoy it, particularly since they clearly should be friends, would be great friends, want to be friends, but Baku simply won't get over it 😂😂 I do prefer them as friends, but friends that are incredibly close, two people that understand each other on almost a telepathic level, two people that give each other shit while also refusing to take the other's shit.

I do agree that many people in this fandom seem to think their ship stands on some moral high ground? It could be a disconnect from the previous generations of fandom, or it could also be the growing mentality on this site that everything needs to be a battle of moral superiority, and also that what you like is part of your personality, and if someone doesn't like what you like, then they don't like you or that they think you're factually incorrect. I personally have stopped going into the bn/ha tag simply because I don't enjoy, well, many things i find there, and I'm happy with those that i follow. I've definitely seen hatred and invalidation for both LGBT ships and m|w ships, neither of which I'm comfortable with. I definitely don't go off tumblr for fandom stuff because there's practically no acceptance for any same gender ships, or any queer headcanoning, which, I'll be honest, makes me scared, as i am a very anxious person avdkvndkfje i do think it should be noted that we should be as accepting of cishet ships as we are of queer ships - no debate on this one - but again, you are right when you say that many cishet headcanons have been used to invalidate LGBT voices, and any and all allies must always be aware of this! It is much more often that queer voices are silenced, that queer ships are ridiculed, that queer shippers aren't allowed to enjoy or see themselves. And to anybody that doesn't want to be an ally... Whelp ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ what are you doing here ajxkvmdogjdicjsicjsodj I'm gay

I haven't really read much of anything recently, let alone other ships, platonic or otherwise, because energy has been low for me for a long time. Uh this is actually a tough question because I don't have only one so this is going to be long.

1: @splendidlyimperfect because they have this way with words and expressing emotions that I really love. Their works are just amazing and I'm pretty sure I read every single one of their stories. But my favorite of all time would probably be "Crash and Burn. (I mean I think I read it like a thousand times by now ) Also they are the first person I talked to in this fandom.

2: @friendlyneighborhoodfairy Everytime I saw your name on ff.net or AO3 I knew I was going to enjoy myself because your stories are just amazing. I fell in love with your writing with "The love of Rivals " and "Overcome" (I can't count how many times I read these)

I've been thinking about this blog. Specifically how I'm going to keep it active with more than just reblogging posts and occasionally some art. I want to do more. I'm a story-teller, so I want to have a good story to tell. A story that will grab people's interest and let them get to know the character (my self-insert) better, especially in a way she doesn’t look like she’s in a verbally abusive relationship. I write BH almost how he is in canon, after all. So my current approach isn't working...and I don't like my very flimsy plotline for it either.

So I'm thinking of starting over. That isn't to mean I'm deleting this blog or any of the posts. I just mean for a while I'm going to work on "Black Sun", which is a story with some actual plot. Plot that doesn't feel the need to follow the canon of either source materials involved.

I'll get into the story more later, but for now I'm going to give a brief summary on what it'll be:

After finally getting to play Okami, I've come up with a fan-made sequel idea (that can or cannot be connected to Okamiden's story too) that incorporates another old idea of mine that came from a dream. I'm still going to work on that idea (for those that know about it, it's Steven Universe-related), but this one is a bit more anime in the feel of it.

The story is called "The Reluctant Okami", Okami meaning "great god" or "wolf" depending on how you spell it. The plot goes that a normal girl in the 21st Century nearly drowns, but divine intervention in the form of Amaterasu appears and "gifts" her with the opportunity to become the next incarnation of Amaterasu. She doesn't have a choice in the matter, so she wakes up washed ashore and shrugs it off as a dream. Only it isn't, and the rest will be talked about in a future post.

Enter "Black Sun", which is the crossover version of this fan-project with my plotless ship-storyline "BlackCoffee". It's basically that story, but then turns into a crossover with "The Reluctant Okami", as Me/g has to keep her secret not from civilian friends...but villain friends, all while still doing what she was chosen to do. Fight demons and return balance to the chaos. Basically restore the balance of Yin and Yang (good and evil, light and dark).

Why I think this is a good idea to do? Because it sounds really fun to me. Writing a hero that isn't the 'save all citizens from a costume-wearing super villain' who is also somehow friends with Dr. Flug and to an extent Demencia (I'm sticking with the met and hit it off online idea. Because I have nothing otherwise...) as her civilian self, and more later on, is fun to me. It's a rollercoaster of suspense, angst, a rarely used angle for romance in this fandom, and I get to share some headcanons and crossover-only headcanons I thought up along the way.

I don't know how many will read it, whatever format it will be in, but I'm going to give it a shot. This doesn't mean BlackCoffee is dead (to the few people that like that ship. lol), it just has more depth to it now. So it's BlackCoffee and BlackSun. I’m serious. If there are too many for me to answer on a blog’s scheduled day, I will do as much as I can and save the rest for next week. It’s not a problem. I LOVE... when people ask about my headcanons, my interpretations, and my muse’s perspective on things. If I know the answer, I will have fun writing it out. If I don’t know the answer... well now I’ve got to think about what the answer might be. You know what that means? New character development! Seriously, people help me so much by sending in questions about headcanons because often times they’re things that I may not have ever thought about or didn’t think about in a lot of detail. Having to answer the questions gives me an opportunity to develop my muse. Those posts listed in the twins’ directories on their blogs (Pietro’s is here, and Wanda’s is here)? Yeah, the majority of them were in response to other people’s posts that got me thinking or answers to asks that prompted me to think in detail about that aspect of my muse. So I love when people challenge me to expand upon what I already have for my muses. If you want to send things, send all the things.

(1)Hey beautiful, I'm glad you're feeling better! I spent my weekend at work and went to see some friends, also I started a Series of Unfortunate Events and I like it so far. How's your hiatus going? Are you watching any series until OUAT comes back? I'll say it again I love reading your metas, my preferences and headcanons regarding the show are really similar to yours. What you said about the Killian/Liam II dynamic seems pretty realistic.

(2)And yes I love that Killian's backstories never excuse his crimes and that it always parallels him doing the right thing in the present. It's repetitive but it always shows how good is redemption arc is and that even in the flashbacks his instinct is to to the right thing and I love that. OUAT is far from perfect (your bio "I hate OUAT but I still watch it" describe me perfectly lol) (3)but they created such complex characters, with rich backstories, and it's fascinating to analyze them and their dynamic with others. It's easy to have tons of headcanons and obviously few of them will actually happen on the show but it's such a nice surprise when they do happen, for instance i'm SO HAPPY that Emma met Liam and Milah, I had wanted this forever and I always wondered how it would happen. It wasn't perfect tho, I feel like 5x15 was...weirdly paced. (4)I wish we'd seen Killian introduce Emma and Liam. I guess it was in the script but they cut it. And the Milah/Emma dynamic was everything, I loved it so much. I saw the spoilers that Milah would be back and that they'd meet and for three months I imagined how it would be. That episode made me appreciate Milah a lot more but I'm still bitter about what happened, her soul is trapped forever and people like freakin CORA got to move on.. (5) Okay it's the last one! Hello, love! I’m dealing with the hiatus by staying on Tumblr and exchanging thoughts with other people, and I rewatch some of my favourite scenes from CS! I can’t keep up with too many shows at the same time, so I find it hard to watch a lot of them. I’m not quite a series junkie, so I’ve still yet to watch the new Sherlock or Mozart in the Jungle episodes. However, me and my roomie FINALLY finished the sixth season of Charmed that we started more than a month ago :P we’re going slowly but we will rewatch it all!

Heh, I changed my blog description after 6x10 to the one I have now. I really loved this show once, with its ideas and narrative and stories and all, and to some extent I still do, but now its quality has lowered significantly for me. But still for me it will be the show that gave me a fictional character whom I’ve loved more than any other and a ship I’m proud and certain to call my OTP. I have had some childhood/adolescence OTPs but none shared the love I have for Captain Swan. I can see me in twenty years still analyzing the ship and writing fics about them, and watching their scenes and people looking at me like “Why do you watch this old stuff it’s not even 3D!” lol.

But yeahhhhhhhh Season 5 was so promising and gave us a lot but not enough payoff... I liked that Liam was suspicious of Emma and didn’t like her right away but it would have been nice if his storyline wasn’t crumped up in one episode and instead he was given time to... develop, let’s say. I understand he’s a tertiary character connected to a secondary connected to a primary character but STILL you don’t give something so promising and rich and juicy and expect your viewers to not ask for more. Apart from the fact that I hated what they wrote for their backstory, I still find it unnacceptable that Killian and Liam didn’t hug. There should have been at least something, something deeper than a simple handhold as the two separated for what they hope would be decades. My tag for that episode is #where the fuck is my hug.

And Milah, oh, that’s another can of worms... like I know that my expectations for Gold to recognize his mistake were too much but, shit son, that I did not expect. Again, I know, tertiary character blah blah but what the hell! I think the most unrealistic thing in this whole plot was that Killian was perfectly fine with leaving her there! I mean, in 5x21, he was standing inches away from where she was pushed in but the writers seemed to have completely forgotten about that, and it drives me mad. Hades was gone, all I would need was for a few seconds where the Lost Souls were shown to be released from the River - that’s all I wanted. It would be enough, and yet nothing happened and I’m so sad. I know we talk about tragedy and stuff but it still was way too harsh. In my mind it happened, anyway! I can’t imagine Killian looking so relieved and so happy before moving on without making sure that Milah isn’t suffering, so to me it happened.

And like, with Cora, yeah I know that she regretted and if you think that Milah was a pirate for years she wasn’t the sweetest person in the world either but it’s UNFAIR! Milah’s death was unfair, Cora’s death was Snow’s desperate attempt to save herself and her family - something she deeply regretted. And yet- ugh!

Aaaanyway those are just a few of the problems this whole season (and rest of the show!) have had for me and I turned negative, sorry :) It’s just that I hoped they had focused more on these aspects and not leave those stories half-told.

Tell me a bit about A Series of Unfortunate Events! I saw the movie that came out some years ago, and from what I’ve seen the series look cool, if not better. Is it good?
