I still think about qsmp purgatory

To me, that arc was absolutely perfect.

The stakes were so high, we genuinely thought some or all of the eggs might die depending on who the winners ended up being, and no one knew exactly how that would play out, so you had to just try damn hard to win for your kid. But there was even that chance that if your team did win that would be the wrong outcome and your kids would die.

But anyway the atmosphere was insane

That eye and the ominous fucking voice, that opening animatic of the mystery guy walking into a surveillance setup, monitoring everyone on the island, that’s so cool. So much mystery, so much implied power.

And then we get there and girlies have NOTHING. And it was fucking bugged or something for the first part so no one could fucking mine cobblestone. Then the random disadvantages pile on top of that, now you’ve got to worry about thirst, all the food is going bad and won’t stack.

And I watched Bolas pov so that’s what I am talking about:

This group was at every conceivable disadvantage. Right off the bat they only have like half the active members of the other groups, no one there is good at pvp, and most of those guys don’t really grind and play that much. They keep dying, Phil starts to make some progress and admins spawn mobs all around him to prevent even that. They give up, and resort to killing each other.

And somehow, from rock bottom, from passing through all the stages of grief and landing on insanity, this small group goes from being but a speck in the progress bar percentages to fucking winning the whole thing.

Watching their madness turn into actual power is sooooo wonderful to watch. They stay fully crazy. But somehow, that works. Going absolutely feral, saying fuck the rules and do whatever, yell mumbled nonsense at your enemies, steal all their shit, that’s the winning play.

There is something so gratifying in watching them go from day one of not having a base, dying over and over again, to week 2 where they are kinda doing the damn thing. And still don’t have a real base and die over and over. I mean that’s literally Jaiden’s main strategy.

And then Baghera with the fucking chainsaw. And Cellbit leaning into his character’s preestablished bloodlust thingy, and everyone collectively building off of each other’s energy.

And something about watching my favorite blorbos lose their goddamn minds for 5 hours every day. I loved every second of it. And it wouldn’t be able to be much longer, Slimecicle for one was absolutely exhausted, that guy doesn’t stream for more than a few hours and now he was grinding for 5 a day. Only adds to the chaos.

But the pace, it being every day and yet a scramble because of the time limit of play time.

The stakes of the eggs lives potentially being on the line

The complete foreign nature of an entirely new island?? With a new scary npc??? Unprecedented.

I absolutely love this arc.

It’s been a while and I still think about it.

I’m mostly making this post because we’ll mainly it’s 2am and that’s the sort of thing you do at 2am but also because I remember like during and right after the prison event people saying that was their favorite qsmp arc

And like good for you bestie but I do not get it

I love to romanticise the dreamsmp fandom experience that we all had during quarantine but lets admit it, i was horribly depressed and probably so were most of us. everyday we logged on in the middle of a world wide crisis to talk about minecraft roleplay and watch drama unfold that most definietly made us feel even worse. At some point I wasn't handing in assingments and hadn't been for months so my form teacher treathened to have me expelled. I was sixteen. I had zero friends in real life. at all. Every roughly two weeks I felt like i had to distance myself from a content creator because that was the drama of the week. then it was resolved or forgotten. one time i purged my gallery of every fundy related image/screenshot because he made a joke about drugging someone and the way people spoke about it made me think he raped someone irl for like a solid half an hour... We had tons of fun, like the penis smp and mangoball and the sad-ist animatics and the cursed posts are all fond memories but at its worst it was lowkey cultish what we had going on here. and we were the good part of the fandom compared to twitter (even though i know our perception of dsmptwt was probably distorted) remember how much we hated "c!dream apologists" like yeah they were wrong and annoying but wtf was up with that behaviour. Again i loved it and i loved the work and love that went into the series itself and the fanworks based on it, but man this could not have been more unhealthy if we tried on purpose

yeah they are !! I've been aware of them basically since I've had an internet connection, even if I wasn't always are of it, though I've been putting off getting Into them for basically as long specifically because I Did know there was a story but didn't know how to get into it

I watched a video essay on it the other day, and Specifically on the fact that their most ambitious story telling venture nearly killed the entire band. or more accurately Did kill it until the band reformed with sort of a soft reboot. the video is Really good, you can watch it here uwu [Link]

everything about it scratched the Sorting part of my brain, the nearly lost media the websites preserved through 15 year old youtube videos and walk throughs, the ambitious plotline left hanging by canon and yet never forgotten, the Everything

so ! I've started a project, that ended up turning into Two In One

first I wanted to collect All gorillaz media and put it roughly in order. all the music, all of the shorts, all of the commercials, specials, live appearances, books, interviews, podcasts, radio dramas, Etc Etc Etc that I could physically find on youtube into One Playlist. so if someone asks "how do find out more about gorillaz" it's all there baby

my Second task, which came to me as I was sorting and came across some True masterpieces from the fandom (such as three and half hours of a fandub audio book with in character voice acting, or finishing the animation for scrapped music videos that existed in the form of canon animatics).

and that's seeing how far I could get into crafting a cohesive and satisfying narrative for "plastic beach" (the aforementioned storyline that almost killed the series but fucked big time), Including An Ending, while still keeping it roughly in line with canon. and it turns out the answer to that is Pretty Damn Far.

I'm still working on that Huge Massive playlist, which is understandable since I started three days ago. (though it can be found here for anyone that wants to poke through it while it's under renovations [Link])

But I decided to make Another playlist that's Just all of the songs and all of the shorts for phases 1-3 in one place. Because it's less intimidating for new fans (that don't hyperfix instantly like me jfkladsjklfads), for Binging Purposes (which you wanna just let all the videos autoplay without having to skip around a 5 episode pirate drama), And because it's Finished jklfdasjklfads

Jrwitober Day 31- 5 years of jrwi

Ok, this one isn’t much of a writing prompt. Not like I know how to make todays prompts into one anyway. And for anyone looking at my account, yeah, I didn’t keep up with it at all. Everything’s been very busy and I just couldn’t find time unfortunately, especially as each one just got longer.

However, I just wanted to use todays little thing to express my complete love for this show and everything about it (except felipe, I want to strangle that guy).

I haven’t been watching since the start. More like the second half of 2022, when slimecicle left the Chuckle Sandwich podcast and, with that being one of my main comforts, lead me to search for other stuff he’d done.

Then I found it. I think I started with the Prime Force one shots, and fell in love with it, though I wasn’t very happy when I found out the rest was behind a paywall. The black rose one shot wasnt the most entertaining thing and I was a little worried to see what the riptide campaign was going to be like. Alas, I gave it a shot.

And. Wow. From the start I was so into it I couldn’t stop watching (doing 8-10 hours a day when I had a free day, I was so into it) and even when I had something else going on, the second I got home I just couldn’t stop. I caught up decently quickly, and after a couple months of rewatching old episodes, I sent my friend, who i had only known for a little while at this point, a BITB animatic. I thought it was cool and I get way too excited about it when I like stuff.

Thankfully, she liked it too, and we decided to both get the Patreon. That’s when I went absolutely insane. BITB, while I won’t go into depths, was amazing, and I finished it in 2 days. But Prime defenders, which id watched the free eps for a while, and that id read enough fics to vaguely be spoiled of s1, was so so so much better than I could’ve expected. Every second of it was incredible, and from May ish when I got it to now, i am continually enthralled by everything about it. I love bizly’s dming, the characters, the story, all the heartfelt moments that I even cried a good amount at.

Jrwi, and largely pd, have become such a big part of my life that I have to stop myself or I doubt I’ll shut up. And that friend I mentioned? We went from strangers to just enough friends I sent her that fateful video to practically siblings, all because I shared my interest with her. We were both the first people we came out to, helped each other through so much in the year and a bit we’ve known each other, and I love her like my sister.

All because of an animatic about a bug horror thing.

And of course, the community. The people I’ve met, mostly those in a jrwi fic server, are so talented and funny and they’re all amazing. I’ve had the chance to write and post on ao3 after reading it for I think 5 years, and the kindness in this community is so incredible it’s almost whiplash to go back to the real world.

So thank you, jrwi. For all you’ve done for me and everyone who watches you.

I watched your “pale white horse” animatic yesterday and it has inflicted BRAINROT on me. literally like these four moments have been on loop in my mind for hours

The way scar looks so small here in comparison to the void surrounding him. He holds Mr Bubbles with one hand and hides the other behind his back. He’s smiling and half his face is covered in shadows. He’s small but he quite literally stands out from everyone else because everyone else has COLOR. Grian has his red sweatshirt and others have patches of green and red and yellow and scar is just gray and it works perfectly

God this shot is so perfect. The green in his eyes with the life colors with “was my time” works SO WELL!! He looks TERRIFIED and I love it. The choice to have the background always be gray to make the characters pop is so cool

THE PERSPECTIVE!!! HOLY SHIT!! I love it so much. The blank look on Jimmy’s face with everyone else’s feyes at works so well. Plus the choice with limited color for each character to have the tnt, Skizz, and Ren all be defined by their red lives while Jimmy is defined by his yellow one is FASCINATING

And this shot is just STUNNING. The way you shade in strokes of lines looks amazing and I love how the yellow of the explosion reflects on Grian, who has always been defined by his willingness to act like a red. God your animations are pure masterpieces I love them so much

Ahh hello! Very mysterious XD I'm doing well thank you!

I've spent so much time trying to rank my favourite Taylor Swift albums...currently 1989 is my absolute favourite, but I have a soft spot for Lover (I have like half a dozen Cruel Summer inspired bracelets by now...). What about you, what's yours?

Outside of Swift, my favourite musical artists are a bit random tbh, but Marina and the Diamonds is a big one, alongside Marianas Trench and P!nk. I have a tendency to find artists via like. Anime music videos, or OC animatics, and be like...ooh, this song is cool, who's it by? (Actually it's how I found a bunch of musicals I ended up liking...except it's all like. Basic stuff lol. Hamilton, Be More Chill, Dear Evan Hansen sorta thing.)

I am ALWAYS up for talking about interests, so hopefully you're up for listening and telling me some of yours?

Primarily I'm all about art - I like traditional art (lots of pen and pencil in my sketchbooks), but I do digital art as well, and also I sew a lot. I've just finished a pair of trousers and am slowly adding the buttons to a shirt I'm making...slowly. But I'm also into stuff like horror, creepypasta sorta things, true crime/horror (although it freaks me out after a while, but that's the fun of it), and currently Hazbin Hotel. My girlfriend is currently inadvertently feeding that last one by writing fanfiction for it lol.

Currently true-crime wise (sorta) I've been watching videos on the "Yuba County 5" which is a sad story ngl. Um idk if you're a true crime person or not but I have a bit of a morbid fascination with missing persons cases. I'm just always wanting to know what happened, what was it like for the person missing etc...

Oh and games-wise I'm into the Persona series and the Professor Layton series. I want to play Persona 5 but it's on the back burner, as the money for the...ps4 is it now? And the game? Is just money I'd rather spend on other things right now.

Honestly by the time I decide it's a priority for me to play that game, there'll probably be like. Persona 7 lol. I like gaming but it takes me forever to actually decide I'm going to play a game. I've been playing Balder's Gate for...a while. It's fun but so long, so I take like 2 weeks between each play session because I know that 6 hours of play later I'll still have barely made progress.

(I'm better at board games than video games, basically.)

Screw it, Second and Red are the target of my angst and none of you will stop me.

This is a songfic using the song, Nowhere King.

Djejiejd go listen to the song, I don't watch centaurworld but I saw an animatic using the song and have been listening to it for hours. Anyways some of this might be ooc but whatever I need sleep it's like 2 in the morning and my first alarm goes off at 4 oh god-

Warnings: Mental breakdown, slight accidental electrocution, usual angst, like one swear.

The Nowhere King

Second was in his room, curled up under a bundle of blankets and shivering, trying to pretend to be asleep for anyone who might walk in.

He hurt them again.

Hush now, hide all you little ones

Fuck - Why couldn't he ever control his powers?

Why couldn't he stop hurting people?

Why couldn't he stop people from getting hurt too?

Rush now, into the middle of nowhere

He didn't want this, he didn't want to hurt his friends, he didn't want to keep having constant streaks of sleepless nights, he didn't want to selfishly leave his friends in danger, he didn't want-

Singing and laughter will die

Tears stung the corner of his eyes and he bit his tongue to hold back a hiccup.

Dreamless sleep, follows the Nowhere King

Red was cleaning up after Reuben and was looking to get more mob eggs but couldn't find the creative block.

When his kingdom comes, darkness is nigh

He poked his head into Yellow's room, seeing him tinkering with some redstone on a small track. A minecart was pushed over on its side a few feet away from Yellow, who hadn't noticed Red until said stickfigure had cleared his throat with a cough.

Quiet, crawl to the in-between

"Oh- Hey Red, what do you need?" He turned in his chair, setting down the redstone and stretching.

"Just wanted to know if you had the creative block or not, I ran out of some mob eggs."

Red said, pointing to his inventory where it was missing some of it's usual absurd amount of spawn eggs.

Yellow paused for a moment before speaking, "I think Second had it last after the uhh, accident. Could you check on him while you're there, Green wanted to tell him that he was fine and that it wasn't his fault.

Before the room could descend into an awkward or tense silence, Red gave a small smile, "Ah thanks! I'll be sure to check up on him, good night!" He shut the door, running up the stairs before slowing his pace at arriving to Second's room.

Silent, secretive feeling

Of fearsome hatred that reaches the skies

It was silent, so he was probably asleep, which meant Red could just go in and grab it without bothering him.

The door opened with a small creak and what he expected wasn't what Red saw.

What he saw made his heart sunk in his stomach.

You will bring joy to the Nowhere King

Second's room was a wreck.

His chair was knocked over and a wheel was half broken. The picture of his friends, something he held very close to him, was on the ground, the glass frame cracked with glass shards surrounding it.

His drawing tablet plug, was ripped at the head, proving to be a hazard as small sparks flew from it.

"Second, a-are you okay?" It took Red a moment to find that the bundle of blankets on the bed were moving, not only moving, but shaking. Second had to be in there.

No response, at least no verbal one, hushed sniffles coming from the blankets as well as green electricity flashing around the blankets dangerously.

Red's gaze softened, he knew the feeling Second was going through all too well. After the Herobrine accident, he couldn't get out of his head that he hurt his friends.

He locked himself away in his room with only Reuben and his parrots for company, scared to set foot into the outside in fear he turned back into that monster and hurt his friends again.

But that didn't stop Second from seeking him help, from helping him out of the thick ooze that whispered to him that it was his fault.

And nothing would stop Red from doing the same.

He moved, with soft footfalls alerting SC that he was getting closer, he couldn't get closer.

No he'd hurt them again. "Go away..." He croaked, voice barely intelligible with tears and sniffling.

Red didn't speak, there was no need for words to try to convince him that he couldn't just go away. He paused in front of the bed, pulling up the blankets with a wince as the electricity shocked him, nothing dangerous, but it DID hurt.

Second's tear-stained face was now visible and he tried scooting away, his vibrant, unfocused, green eyes and electricity glowing brightly in the darkness of his room.

And then suddenly, there were arms around him, and a warm body against him as he tried to comprehend what was happening around him as everything felt like it was moving oh so slowly.

Red had hugged him, without hesitance, only a pained grunt being heard as he tightened his hole on Second, rubbing a hand up and down his back in hopes of comforting him.

There were still sniffles, and now tears soaking into Red's shirt, and Red only tried softly hushing him, as if to drown out the sorrows Second was facing with the love and care he felt for him.

Blank eyes stared at the wall in front of himself, before seeing who had embraced him. Second gripped Red's shirt, trying to ground himself.

His heart was slowing down, although his tears and sniffles didn't stop completely, they slowed. Whether he noticed it or not, the glow in his eyes slowly faded, and a warmth began growing in his chest.

No words were exchanged, they both understood the feelings and thoughts brought fort with the hug, and Second eventually relaxed in Red's hold, weakly returning the hug and resting his head on Red's shoulder.

His eyes shut with exhaustion as he went fully limp in Red's embrace, who had also brought up a hand to stroke his head softly, electric energy stopping soon after.

When he sees the light leaving your eyes

The room descended into quiet once more, the two sticks curled as close together as possible in each other's warm hold.

The False Prince School Project I Had To Do...

I got into the ascendance series because my class was reading The False Prince as a read aloud. We would read like 2 chapters everyday and then have to answer questions about it.

I was VERY interested in the book after Latemer died. DARK, I know, I was just happy we were reading a darker books now that we were getting older. The funny thing is, my teacher made like the whole class read one page of the book for some reason I have no idea why lol. I read the page where Latemer died and I was HOOKED.

I took the book home, and read it. Immediately after finishing I begged my mother to get me the whole trilogy. I finished the Runaway King in one night and my sleep schedule was destroyed. No regrets.

When my class finished The False Prince I was just starting The Captive Kingdom.

After all of our read alouds, we always had to write an essay on the book, but for this book our teacher decided to give us literal FREE RANGE ON THIS PROECT.

We could literally do these:

Most people did the Minecraft builds, and they were high quality ngl

Before The Ascendance Series, I was obsessed with Wings of Fire, by Tui T. Sutherland and I had been working on an over simplified summary of my favorite book of the series, sadly all the files were lost and it was never completed. But then I had an idea.

Before the project was even announced I was thinking about doing an oversimplified summary of the false prince. Pretty much it would be a spoof video explaining the major parts in the books, with bad jokes and me and my brother purposefully doing bad voices acting for the characters. For example, I gave Conner a squeaky high pitched voice because that's what he deserves. It would kind of be an animatic with little animation.

We had so much freedom with this project it was insane. The day after these projects were announced, I was constantly thinking about what to do. Until I realized I could do the summary for my project.

So during social studies I was sketching out character designs, problem was, I only had one week (due date was Friday, it was Monday) to do it, and my brother (who was doing the project with me) couldn’t help with production because he had no clue how to edit videos, he was just doing some voices of characters. I was on a time crunch

Monday

During social studies (I was supposed to be writing about Ancient Egyptian daily life but whatever) I sketched out all the characters, I would post the sketches here but my phone is broken and the picture is on my phone, thankfully I dm’d the final drawings to my bro.

My ELA teacher let us have our phones in class to work on it, me and my brother started writing the script.

Tuesday

Finalizing the character design and finishing up the script. Started working on the actual video

For example, this would be one of the finished copies of a character (Sage) ofc i gave him a green shirt ok-

Wednesday

This is when I realized I probably couldn’t do all 54 chapters of the novel. So I decided that I would only do half of the book (27 chapters)

Thursday

Final day to work on the project. I couldn’t finish it during the ELA period so I turned on some dream speed run music and I spent like 2 hours working on it at my house.

I added sound effects, did the voice lines with my brother and finished. My worst fear while exporting it, that it would glitch out and my class would be looking at a black screen for six minutes straight. LUCKILY It worked and.... I would have to post it to YouTube and my CLASS would know my channel—ANYWAYS I emailed the video to my teacher.

Friday (PRESENTATION DAY!!!)

So by now my whole class was aware of my animatic project and were hyped up for it. Like literally this one girl was like: “Mrs. [teacher’s name] Can we pleeeaaasssee watch Maddie and Ryan’s project firssssstttttttttttt”

I asked my teacher if she could she could play ours last, and she did. The feedback was positive and everyone liked it! Everyone laughed really hard at it at some point, even my teacher.

Hey dude, I read the dog teeth series like half a year ago (or what was out at the time) and I just wanted to say it is one the most captivating things I’ve ever read. I’m not good with words and debated calling it “beautiful” or “amazing” but idk those words do not stick for something as deep as you wrote it. I just find myself coming back to read again sometimes. I understand not being good with words when it comes to describing something you've read or watched, etc. It's hard to articulate the thoughts at all sometimes lmao. I'm glad it resonated with you in some way though, and thanks for letting me know it did.

And your ask reminded me that it's almost the one year anniversary of having written the first part of Dog Teeth. It doesn't feel like I wrote it that long ago, honestly. I remember hashing it out in a few hours, having the first draft of that beginning part in hand in less time than I can even fathom writing something now.

It's kind of wild to think it's been a year lol. Looking back on my older pieces, there's parts I could never hope to recreate, parts I could easily improve, parts that I would have written differently with what I've learned now and how I've changed as a writer.

And I think your debate with calling it "beautiful" or "amazing" is familiar. It's something I've found myself unable to label the things I've read that have really stuck with me, but it's the closest things I can fathom calling them. So I get you on that...

It's wild cause the thing that actually inspired me to put pen to paper was first, an animatic I saw on YouTube lmao, but also this video a friend sent me. It captured the way I could never really articulate my thoughts on fiction that handles darker topics, of how stories about pain aren't just about the suffering or pain itself-- and the ways they can be almost cathartic or comforting somehow. And how, even if "beautiful" isn't the right word for it, that writing (or reading) about pain becomes nearly living in the process; raw.

One quote that really stuck with me from the video (and that I frequently thought of a lot while writing everything) is: "Her work lingers, between my conscious and unconscious mind, because the horror of these games is built on a foundation of anguish far more chilling than any individual creature. These worlds--as alien as they are--are still haunted by us. We don't know floating apartment blocks, or irradiated monuments, or the earth rising like a tick swelling with blood. WAIT!!! PLEASE AT LEAST READ THIS, AND TAKE INTO CONSTIDERATION

WHILE PEOPLE MAY OR MAY NOT BE HERE STILL! I woke up after Tommy’s and Techno’s streams again, even though it’s nearing 4pm for me, and I just had an epiphany that could help with tagging and how we talk about what’s going on in the Dream SMP vs their normal stuff. It’s what we do in the Sanders Sides fandom with Character Thomas vs Thomas himself; C!Thomas.

Meaning we could take the same concept and tag everyone’s characters as Character [name] and/or C![name], as seen above with Thomas.

Now don’t take this the wrong way, we still tag ‘Thomas Sanders’ when talking about Sanders Sides cause that’s His Show, like, kind of one of the only running things he has going on rn and he likes to see what the fans create. Not saying the Dream SMP members don’t, but they have other things going on, Very different things. And while Thomas is acting parts of himself, meaning it’s practically Thomas showing Very personal bits of his life and mind, the Dream SMP members actively play Characters Different From Themselves. Not everyone of course, because Phil is still a fairly chaotic but lovely father figure and jokingly accepts that his entire chat has made him their dad, Quackity is still loud about what he knows and believes in, Tommy’s still loud and loyal to everyone he cares about, Nikki’s a bit quiet but cares so deeply, and among other’s I’m blanking on rn. The people I feel this would be mostly for is Schlatt, Dream, and Techno; in the order of severity.

Schlatt: Even though he’s dead rn, people could still be attacking him for his character, I wouldn’t know I don’t like thinking about conflicts so I don’t pay attention to them. Anyway! Like I was saying, he was getting hate for his stellar acting as a villain on the SMP. I didn’t know of Schlatt until I got into the SMP, somewhere after the election. So I barely had any time with these people, only the multiple hour long ‘movie’ on yt and, I think, the first animatic SAD-ist did, and a few 5-10 minute clips to bring me up to speed. BUT(god, sorry, this is long as fuck) WHAT I’M TRYING TO SAY IS, Schlatt’s character instantly put me on edge, all I had was the clips of him yelling and calling Tubbo names under his breath and just being an absolute bitch of a man. Schlatt’s character still puts me on edge, just rewatching clips of him just Talking, Just TALKING, make me queasy. like a bolder in my gut...and then I looked into Schlatt’s other stuff. Now when I’m having a bad day, I put on one of Schlatt’s videos, he’s become a comfort YouTuber to me, he on the same level of comfort as Thomas Sanders and Sanders Sides for me, even thought they are so different in every way imaginable. Schlatt’s acting is amazing in the SMP because it’s so similar yet so different from his normal self.

Dream: He’s getting brought up mostly due to recent events with Tommy and how his character is either clearly gaslighting or so dilutional that he actually thinks Tommy is his friend. Dream’s character is so hard to read, mostly because he doesn’t stream(along the same lines of Schlatt, I think? Idk if he streamed), and that makes his motives and how his mind works a complete guess to viewers and other characters. BUT Dream’s friends have described him as ‘too wholesome’ or something like that, telling us that Dream is just Super Nice. Dream the person doesn’t like the thought of people knowing who he is in real life, and that’s totally understandable. with how people are nowadays with loving who they watch a Little Too Much, that’s scary as Fuck. So he doesn’t talk too much about himself, just his videos with the Dream Team and Manhunts and just absolutely blowing up in general. He’s Young! Idk how young, but defo young adult or something, he’s still maturing(fuck I know how that be, I haven’t even eaten yet and it’s 6pm now), he’s still figuring shit out, he’s adjusting. Don’t shit on Dream himself for his ambiguity just because his character is being a real bitch to deal with rn. He’s doing some fucking A+ acting rn.

Techno: The fandom is extremely split on Tech’s character rn, half are saying that he betrayed Poggtopia and the other half are saying Poggtopia betrayed him. I am on the ‘Poggtopia betrayed him’ side. The characters had bad communication with him and didn’t tell him what was going on half the time. He thought they were Destroying Manburg, while the others knew they were Taking Back L’Manburg. He was open about hating Governments in general and Poggtopia just didn’t listen. Techno the person is also a bit ambiguous about his personal life, not as much as Dream, but sill something along those lines. He’s open about his social anxiety and ADHD, which his character also seems to have(you can not just turn that shit off, it happens). People hate on his character because he wasn’t honest about his motives, but the thing is? He is. This is mostly just to protect Techno the person. He’s become a favorite of mine, too, somehow not as much as Schlatt, but close. His character, too. They’re both honest as hell, but the thing with, kind of both, is that people don’t listen to him so they end up just assuming what he was thinking at the time. I’ve honestly been on Techno’s side every time someone comes up against his character, mostly because I understand a lot about how he is, especially the social anxiety. I have nothing wrong with his character and he doesn’t put me on complete edge like JSchlatt’s and Dream’s characters. Also, stop dissing how he’s acting! He’s doing Great when it comes down to it, improving the Theseus story was god tear, don’t @ me, I like him lots.

This was a long and convoluted way of saying we should tag Dream SMP members like Character Thomas.

Just let these people act without fear of being cancelled.

anyways so this song dsmp wise could be about so many things. angsty c!duo because we all know they were codepend in the l'manberg days (not their fault obviously... god there was one line in a fic i read that made me SOB) but MAINLY i can imagine everyone after c!wilbur blew up l'manberg and. they all loved him so much and he betrayed them like that and his mental health had been deteriorating in exile and,,, (once again not his fault but like??? we all know c!niki was rightfully pissed. give her an animatic on it. also c!fundy.). also could be c!quackity about c!schlatt.... etc etc etc
