Recording was cancelled tonight, so we're gonna watch more movies with my parents.

Tonight's Movie: The Amazing Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield)

My phone is gonna be charging during the movie, so probably won't get any of my thoughts. (Unless I grab my 6ft cord👀)

Anyway, I think my family has either gaslit me or I'm going crazy. I'm the only one, out of the five of us, who remembers the tradition of us watching The Amazing Spider-Man (or any of the Spider-Man movies, really) every year on New Year's Eve until I was 15.

I know what I know, but no one else does, apparently.

I got the longer cord. Maybe I'll remember to add my thoughts:

We keep having hiccups. We'll get to the movie eventually... In the meantime, and because no one asked or probably cares, I'm gonna make a master post thing for my movie thoughts.

I keep wanting to call The Lizard 'Killer Croc', but this is Marvel, not DC.

I also keep wanting to call him Doc. Oc, which is the right franchise, but the wrong villain.

I love that the construction workers are helping him. Like, basically every villain says "No good deed goes unpunished." but Spidey saved one kid and now has all the blue collar workers helping him out. I love it and it doesn't get enough rep.

I decided i want more comic/movie friends so consider this my application 📬

Hi I'm Constantine, i'm 21 and a student. I mostly use they/them but any gendered terms are fine (girl, bro etc.) 😎

I read DC/Marvel comics, some webtoons and watch a lot of movies (also some shows). I also read a lot but it's mostly fanfiction and original work on Ao3 lol- Once in a blue moon i also write.

My favorite movies are The Lego Batman Movie, The House and Titanic. I watch every genre except Horror, but Drama, Slice Of Life, Sci-Fi and Musical Films are my favorites. I enjoy animation more than live action movies but it's whatever, really.

My favorite DC characters are Superboy, Red Hood & Superman (but i don't really hate any characters so-). My favorite Marvel characters are Spider-Man, Captain America and She-Hulk. But that changes quite frequently oops.

My current favorite ships include but aren't limited to Roy & Jason, Johnny Storm & Peter Parker, Kon & Tim and Dick & Slade (guilty pleasures, definitely).

I don't really enjoy the Snyder Movies sorry 💔

(I also like Animal Crossing, The Sims and The Legend of Zelda.)

I don't have anything against furries and am obviously LGBT friendly. In general, i'm pretty open about weirdness i guess ...

4. favourite dish specific for your country?

This thing called cayeye. It's a platain purée (Platain not banana) with a tomato&onion sauté, sprinkled with a lot of cheese. tbh, I loved anything with platain.

5. favourite song in your native language?

my current obsession is Ateo by c tangana ft. Nathy Peluso. He's spanish and she's argentinian; not from my country but the song is in spanish, so I guess it counts.

7. three words from your native language that you like the most?

Ojalá is my favorite word. The accentuated á and the spanish j make it hot, and I love the meaning (I hope or I wish) and the arabic origin. I think it's awesome to have a word that expresses hope in such emotional and beautiful way.

8. do you get confused with other nationalities? if so, which ones and by whom?

Yes! When you're from Latin America it's easy to be confused with other Latam nationality, or Spain. When I was in Canada I was asked if I came from Spain or Mexico xD. Besides, I dont' have remarked Latino traits, so I get confused with southern european nationalities too.

Gabriel García Márquez. One hundred years of solitude is a masterpiece.

13. does your country (or family) have any specific superstitions or traditions that might seem strange to outsiders?

My family it's not too superstitious, but for new year's eve colombians tend to eat twelve grapes at midnight (making a wish each time) get in Levi mode and clean our home to welcome positive change, hold lentils in our pockets to ensure they will not go hungry, carry a suitcase to encourage travel and wear yellow underwear to encourage wealth.

I did the suitcase thing one, and ran laps around my block seven times with a suitcase. Pandemic hit the following year xD.

15. a saying, joke, or hermetic meme that only people from your country will get?

There are so many. Here are some:

- Más mamado que chupo de guardería. “More ‘sucked’ than a pacifier in a nursery” Means you're exhausted

-Como Pedro por su casa. "Like Peter in his own house." It is used to describe someone impertinent who has entered somewhere without permission.

-¿Durmió conmigo anoche o qué? "Did you sleep with me last night or what?" You tell someone who doesnt say hi.

16. which stereotype about your country you hate the most and which one you somewhat agree with?

The one I hate the most is when I say I'm colombian the first thing I get asked is if I do cocaine, or something related to drugs. I agree with the one that says that colombians are welcoming, outgoing and cheerful. It's true!!!

Nope.

That was dangerously hot. How are they controlling themselves!??? I'm not even in that situation and I can barely control myself from flinging myself across the wall because of the frustration. Damn loki is hot when he's caring. I think when they get out of here they'll hug each other for hours just cause. But katlyn tho😂. That was funny. Loki didn't even try. He was all, oh well you don't look good. Too bad. I love how he so subtly insulted her. But weird thing even though she knows he's hot. BitchK's main reason to sleep with him is to hurt y/n. They both have steel hearts to be able to control themselves in such a situation, I think it has more to do with their past, both of them have indulged in their fair share of meaningless one night stands and they are just taking their time getting to know each other first.

They are already in love so that makes everything so much more precious.
